Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae Jin combination were enjoyable, throughout the movie you will love it.
Hyun Bin has an iron body and whenever there is an action, he just flys/moves like a wind.
Never the less the villain Kim Ju Hyuk had shown class in his acting, high-class style for the villain character suited him well.
All the action sequences and fights were kind of new, stunt masters would have suffered is my guess.
It is a one-time watch movie, probably a week end movie to relax and enjoy.
The most loving part of the movie is there are no much sentiments, just 2 scenes.
Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae Jin, and Kim Ju Hyuk were whole and sole of the movie.

Hyun bin is hot as hell and did a fantastic job ...yu hae Jin and his family is nice too

Action-filled movie but not so comedy as advertised
The story is quite meh although it makes sense. A North and South Korean joint operation which initially started with different goals in mind towards the end, it becomes a really cooperative partnership. Who would've known that this two completely different detectives will find a common ground to work together despite the doubts and mistrusts at the beginning. The overall plotline is logical somehow but nothing extravagant or really big is going on. I find it linear with no much twists.I love the action scenes which for me is executed well. Who doesn't want to see HyunBin in action? The chemistry between the two as partners while unique definitely works. I didn't expect them to complement each but they did.
It was a good weekend watch although I watched it on a weekday. It was intense yet light so I recommend it if you came across this movie on Netflix, it's worth a watch. I'm so excited to watch the sequel of this.

This film was everything I expected from it.
This film was everything I expected from it. A typical and predictable Korean cop comedy with the action accumulated at the end of the movie.The actors had great chemistry. The plot was ordinary. A duo where one person is just themselves and the other pretends to be friendly and trusts them when they act undercover. Enemies who ultimately befriend and cooperate with each other and at the end save each other.
In the North Korean scene, I cried a little.
It was fun and enjoyable enough not to feel like you wasted your time.

Action packed
And I mean literally!First, let's deal with the important stuff. Hyun Bin was MADE for action roles! That still, quiet, buff, piercing eyes guy...quite effective. I couldn't get over how thin his face was and how sharp his jawline was!!
The action was pretty much non-stop and it was very well done. I vacillated between practically jumping out of my chair and covering my eyes. Really good fight scenes and the car chases were excellent, whether they were in a car or chasing a car on foot.
This was my first time seeing anything that Yoo Hae Jin was in, and I loved him as the South Korean cop. Always in trouble and work and at home, he had that run down look about him. He and Hyun Bin were magic together, going from distrust to brother.
I know most people thought the story line with the sister-in-law was funny, but I was just embarrassed for her. Thankfully, that didn't go on too long.
I'm going to need to recover and then watch the second one!

CONFIDENTIAL ASSIGNMENT is an entertaining action film which director Sung-Hoon Kim has made an enthralling experience calling for another watch. The action scenes are so well executed that they demand a repeat value as well. The way it balances action, emotion and humour is commendable.
Technically, the film stands tall. The cinematography in certain action sequences is splendid. The visuals are a treat to watch. The editing is decent as the film rarely deviates from storytelling; it doesn't bore for even a second.
Hyun Bin is quite excellent. His performance is a commendable one as he manages to show multiple emotions with perfection. Yu Hae-jin, however steals the show with his solid performance. Rest of the cast does a fairly good job.
The action is excellent, the emotions are well brought out, and the comedy too is quite a good one. The music, however, is another major reason why the film stands this tall. Various sequences get enhanced by the energetic music and I would love to hear it again and again. It's quite catchy and foot-tapping, apart from being hummable.
Definitely, CONFIDENTIAL ASSIGNMENT is a must watch for action lovers. Not just for them, however. The film is an energetic, lively entertainer with a solid repeat value. Do go for it, and you won't regret it. I heard somewhere that it's coming to India as well, and that's truly a great news.

Hyun Bin, fantástico, creo que su madurez actoral se le nota mucho más en películas que en dramas, sin embargo, exijo un drama con Yoona quien aunque tuvo un rol pequeño, sus pocas apariciones fueron impecables.
De resto, es una película bastante aceptable y con un final lleno de acción y hasta un poco divertido.
It is a great movie, with lots of action, entertaining scenes, and above all with a very good story, although in some things that are spent on exaggeration ... but I liked seeing it on big screen.
Hyun Bin, fantastic, I think he's an actor who stands out a lot more in films than in dramas, however, I demand a drama with Yoona that although she had a small roll, her appearances few impeccable.
Incidentally, it is a quite acceptable film and with an end full of action and even a little fun.
