Lovely actress, original storyline, a bit melodramatic near the end

I have mixed feelings about this series. On one hand, the story is very unique, the main actress utterly charming and pitifully cute at times. The visual effects are very good, helping to convey the feeling of, and transitions to, the webtoon world. On the other hand, starting around episode 12, the series see-saws melodramatically, characters stare at each other too much with failure to communicate simple things. I find that frustrating. It's worth it for the lovely ending and main actress. The storyline is great, but wears thin near the end. Recommended.

This type of genre series is what I usually like. Different world traveling/time traveling so I loved watching this tv series. I enjoyed that it was a little different then the usually that it was based on traveling to a webtoon world. I enjoyed watching the show overall.

I'll rate it 9/10 because there are some events which I really didn't understand and left me confused until now.One example was how come the readers from the real world didn't realize that they're also being in the story?...Like that superior doctor of Oh Yeon Joo,he keeps saying that he's a real fan of W but when Kang Chul went to the real world and shot Yeon Joo's father with the gun,her father was brought to the hospital and the superior doctor was the one who operated him, that part was also in the webtoon, right? so for sure the doctor read that he was the one who operated him and what is happening in the real world also happened in the webtoon.
The romance part was really fast paced and will bring you to a roller coaster of emotions.
I like how I keep forgetting that everytime Kang Chul gets surprised,Yeon Joo can go back to the real world so every scene where in she wants to go back to the real world is so on point and reasonable and it really connects to the situation, and I'm really shookt....XD
Funny how the Final episode of the webtoon is also the final episode of the series.
I cried at episode 16 when Yeon Joo was already right in front of Kang Chul who was dying but can't help him in their final moments for the final episode and then at the right moment she was dragged to the real world T_T and her father,so sad that he needs to sacrifice himself.
I think the superior doctor is the representation of some viewers because of how frustrated he was in every happenings..haha

Very unique and creative. Love the main mc ship, they are so cute and have great chemistry. However, the plot got confusing towards the end and the ending didn’t feel complete. But it’s a great series that draws you in from the first episode and is very unique and worthy of binge watching until 3 am ??

Unfulfilling Ending

I did enjoy the lead actors. They did what best they could do with a horribly troubling script/plot.

Query me this: How can her father not exist simply because he is no longer required in the webtoon but Kang Chul can exist now outside of it even though he's just a cartoon character? Why does her father have to not exist in the real world? If he doesn't exist in the real world than she cannot exist either. He has to exist in one of the two places for any of this to be plausible... far worse than that is the idea that her father was somehow sacrificing himself. NO, he wasn't. He was just doing what he has done the entire drama, be a self-loathing, pathetic, weak human being who loves to wallow in his on depression of uselessness. He just finally gets the courage to do what he has wanted to do from the beginning: kill himself.

Although our main couple end up together, he was perfectly unsatisfying, because, to be honest, there was really no other plausible direction for the writer to take. No one would have been okay with a weak father like her's survive while Kang Chul ends. They storm MBC and burn down the building. ...I just think there was a solution just as legitimate that would have let everyone survive... but for some reason this writer enjoys the dreariness of melo.... It's really too bad, because this could have been so much more than this flat, uninspiring troupe that was laid out before us.

Five Stars

I loved the series and even more the ending!
It's the ending the characters deserved.
They really did deserve a happy ending. SO Glad they wrote it like that :)
The two main characters totally connected with me, and I felt with them through happy and sad scenes.
Overall, all the actors did an amazing job!
I'm looking forward for watching it again sometime.

Five Stars
