In whole movie ,i didn't find her(1st lead) arrogant ,she fight for her rights and second lead actor helps her a lot .First i thought they both are lead couple and they look cute together but they separated and now she paired with first lead but i don't like their pairng but it is ok because story was going good but again misunderstanding and previous one come together then misunderstanding clear so afterone come together .totally jumbled story .
I have so many why after watching this movie.
1. Why first lead actress went alone to save her friend ,she knew very well that it was dangerous why her boyfriend accompany her ,it is a common sense
2.at last when she told 1st lead actor that go and listen to your heart then why he didn't clear her misunderstanding and let her go .
3.then 1st lead actor at the last scene said to his brother girlfriend that he really love her and leave his brother as he is not a good man so it is shown like he really love her but at the very end it was shown his only love was first lead actress .so much confusion .

The main turnoff for me was actually the acting. It made the whole story less credible. The only good actor was Nagano Mei and she played a secondary role. But I guess it is quite understandable since Inoo Kei is quite new to acting and Yamamoto Mizuki is mainly a model. Thus, overall, the cast choice wasn't that great and it deflates the value of the story itself.
I had high hopes for this movie since the manga is so famous but :/ I was honestly disappointed.

"Peach girl" is a cute and sweet movie. The plot is a little bit confusing, there aren't any cliffhangers at all but you can't expect much from a shojo manga of this kind.
Mackenyu is a sweetie but his character is a pain in the ass, plain and without guts.
Keii's one is adorable and for the first time, I actually saw a boy who is more concern about his crush's happiness than his own one.
"You have to fight, even play dirty, if you want to get the girl." This clique didn't happen here.
True, this cute movie is FULL of cliques, misunderstandings and predictable scenes, but at least the two males wanted the girl to be truly happy and didn't pressure her to make a decision.
I'll mark it 6 out of 10, not a fan of this "sweet" shojo manga, but it was kind of good and not that terrible.

Typical High School Drama with One Bright Spot
The story itself is a pretty straightforward high school romance drama, and while it’s easy to follow, it doesn’t really stand out or leave a strong impression beyond the usual love triangle setup. I never really dove into the manga or anime and so I didn't know what to expect.Mackenyu’s portrayal of Toji Kazuya was easily the highlight for me. He had this calm, natural presence that made his character feel more believable. Even in simpler scenes, he kept things grounded and consistent, and honestly he was the main reason the movie stayed watchable from start to finish. His character also had that common trope where Toji avoids Adachi Momo to “protect” her, and while it is meant to feel dignified and selfless, it’s honestly a writing choice that gets old. It creates unnecessary distance and misunderstandings that just drag the story instead of adding meaningful tension.
On the other hand, I really didn’t enjoy Kei Inoo as Okayasu Kairi. His performance felt very over the top in a way that didn’t fit the tone of the story for me. Instead of coming across as charming or fun, it often felt more irritating and distracting. Because of that, a lot of the love triangle drama didn’t really land. Rather than feeling torn between the characters, I ended up disengaged during his scenes, which made parts of the story feel weaker than they should have been. It felt like the performance pulled me out of the movie instead of drawing me into it.

This is just all over the place
Quick preface by saying I have not read the manga.I tried to give this movie the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes we can take movies at face value and just turn our brains off and enjoy, but this movie is messy in its execution.
The acting is all over the place. Momo the main character is carelessly thrown about with no real reason for character growth. Her goals and grievances are very haphazard. It doesn't help that her acting is not very believable. It's hard to root for her when you don't feel any sort of attachment. The crying scenes especially felt very off. Like the crying was good the emotion seemed misplaced if that makes sense?
The movie also seems to focus way more on Kairi then her. Kairi's story is decently ok but he is extremely irritating. His family acts so hilariously like typical drama family that none of it feels like it matters. The father especially feels like a completely different story is going on. Toji is extremely just there to be cool. And Sae is just a maniac with no good reason to actually hate Momo. I like both Mackenyu and Mei so it was disappointing seeing their characters so one sided. I also think the cast had really bad chemistry together. Every interaction felt extremely forced or awkward.
Each plot point just goes so quickly and there seems little build up to these characters. It's like they were just rushing to get to each plot point. Every new plot introduced just made it feel like this would of been better as series. There seems to to be a lot missing perhaps found in the manga. This hurt the pacing quite a bit as they tried to cram so much into the movie.
Not recommended at all.
