Misaki excitedly tells Kanata she's going to the fireworks festival with Chiaki, unaware that Kanata quietly expresses something unexpected in return. Determined to confess her feelings, Misaki prepares for the big day and is encouraged by Touma to wear a yukata. While shopping, she ends up buying one and catches Kaede suspiciously handing money to a man. Kaede later claims it's just repaying a friend and announces she'll be leaving town that night. Meanwhile, Chiaki coldly brushes off Manami, who visits SeaSons with something to say. That night, Misaki asks Kanata if she should tell Chiaki about Kaede, but he says it’s unnecessary. However, when she happily talks about Chiaki, Kanata snaps and tells her to leave, leading to a fight.
