General and I (2017)

- "General and I" focused more on battle strategies while "The Rebel Princess" focused more on court politics
- "General and I" the FL and ML sacrificed for one another, whereas "The Rebel Princess" the FL and ML both have an understanding of each other

In the both the dramas ml and fl are smart and good strategists in war..Ml and fl meet on opposite sides and match wits against each other multiple times before falling in love.. There is love, politics,war strategy and most of all there is a happy ending

Different setting and countries, but in both
-the two leads come from enemy countries, with the male lead’s country submitting the female lead’s
-for this reason, the female lead hates the male lead at first
-she also has a lover at the start of the series
-despite her hatred, the male lead is crazy in love with her
-but she eventually gets won over by his devotion

Koo Kum is much more tragic however. Prepare yourself for a River of tears here !

In both series there are more than one man in love in the main character, we also have a war and many adversities with which the main characters have to deal with.

Love stories of both, are similar. Both of the main male leads had children, that they didn't know for their existence. Some problems within the family or within the power "position in the court" had always made problems for the loving couple.

You must watch General and I, cuz it rocked. The Actress is AMAZING ... and some martial skills were shown in a new light, Actually, they were shown in the correct way, and THX GOD there was no FLYING around as they fought.

Both have strong female lead..
OMG female lead is strong at battles because she is the general..
GAI female lead is strong mentally because she is in charge of battle strategy during war.

Both have romantic relationship with royalty..
OMG female lead general is engage with the prince which is the nephew of the emperor.
GAI female lead was married to the prince which is the brother of the emperor.

Both dramas released almost at the same time, involving romance, politics, war, historical, action ...etc, but this General And I is 100x times better story line than Song Of Phoenix.

If you like the way the ML and FL are competing with each other using strategy and wisdom in the autumn ballad, you'll definitely like General and I.

Both drama, set in historical period, have a beautiful and interesting female lead.
Both female lead are both strong, smart and skillful.
Both drama have a lot of episodes but they are very exiting.

General and I is the best of the best romantic drama I have ever watched. Especially, Wallace and Baby acting very professional and match perfectly together .

I am here for my favorite charming handsome incredible talented actor singer dancer and the greatest kisser Wallace Chung.

This two dramas are very similar. The main couple they are from rival countries. She saved his life when they were kids. Both main girls have something they wear to make the male lead recognize the girl, in general and I it was a jade hairpin but in The King's Woman it is a half cirlce jade necklace. The male lead forces marriage with the main girl. The main girl is in love with someone else in the beginning. The only difference so far is that the main guy is king in this drama but in General and I he was a general, also the female lead was a female strategist in General and I but in this drama she is a swordfighter.
