The male actor is hot! Has gr8 screen presence...
This is one of those dramas were everything that thai lakorns are about - slap kiss/ violence/ kidnapping is there...but the heroiene is equally badass and returns a bite for a bite...
There is force but not force rape scenes despite thm getting intimate...so that was somethin diff!
Except for the last epi which felt like how did this happen and the first epi where u want to kill the bitcy villian...this lakorn is really nice to watch. The chemistry between the leads is good and I am so go na watch more of this guys shows????

Against my expectations, given the subject matter of the show (I thought it would be revenge and forced rape), I actually enjoyed this show. Until the last episode that is.

The beginning is action packed, angsty and filled with all kinds of feelings. You really hate the villainess and her cronies. And I kind of hated Chabaa's brother too. He was one weak character, I think. Regarding the revenge, as a sister with only one bro, I understand Akee. He was a good man before all of this, and he was a kind man during it (not nice, but kind to others not from Chabaa's family). His revenge warped him, and there seemed to be forced scenes, but never rape. Chabaa also gave him as good as she got whenever he tried to kiss her. He basically spent the entire kidnapping session saving her and taking care of her in between the revenge nonsense.

Honestly, the brother's and Khun Ji's story was more interesting to me. We actually got to see how they started to care for each other, how they shared problems and helped each other. It's more than we got to see with the main couple.

However, the main reason I kept watching is for the villains in this show. They carried this storyline and were awesome actors. The villains were a lot more interesting to watch than any other storyline. Everything in the show happened as a reaction to the main villainess's actions. Therefore, when her part was over, the story became so boring. Luckily that was only the last two episodes.

And the last episode... I feel I wasted an hour of my life. I wanted to see how the romance was resolved, and felt happy at the outcome of 'the wedding'. However, I was mystified by how Chabaa and Akee fell in love. Like how? What was I watching and didn't see that very important development?

Overall, I really liked this show and it's interesting enough. The villaness was the most acclaimed and outstanding actor for me here. Everyone else was flat and normal. I applaud her acting., and she's pretty too.

Give this a try. It's not as rapey as you think. Actually, there is no rape.

Truth is, all these far-fetched "revenge dramas" where the guy kidnaps, ties down and abuses the heroine (no matter if he actually rapes her or not) on some stupid island or wherever, resulting in her/him admitting to fall in LOVE are as equally demented as any supernatural ghost story. Plus, it's an old story and I've watched it already in several dramas. So, I fast-forwarded through this one a LOT.

Film looked equally hot in 'Mia Tuean' (similar themed lakorn), so if you're into him, better watch THAT. As there's Koy Rachwin beside him as female lead! Here, we have classic "funny best friend" material Amy Amika (like I remember her from 'Sen Tai Salai Sode') misscast as the nang'ek she is NOT (most of the time they put extra heavy makeup on her).

Never mind, at least the island part was not too draggy and the naughty pra'ek was told many things clearly. But there were still many episodes remaining. They are filled with some kind of "general drama" including many side characters (most of them you don't care about), plus the main duo (most of the time you don't get what they want) that makes absolutely no sense except filling the screentime. Veery long screentime. It's going in circles. The two have zero chemistry. The skinship looks very awkward. They act childish. I wonder why the audience should watch this "story" again and again... Is anyone really having fun? As this is not the 1st drama ever in my life that I'm watching, I'm kinda bored:-p

I really did get into it and it was entertaining enough to watch through but that's about it. The execution for most of the dark things was not done well. She gets raped in one scene and is joking in the next that just took me out of the fantasy. Additionally the main two characters had zero chemistry imo. Their supposed loving and intense gazes looked so fake. They don't even have one single conversation where you feel a bond forming, nothing at all. I really like slap and kiss and abusive male leads but this has potential but didn't really do it for me. I like deep passionate bonds but for that you need acting and directing skills. These two were better in the sad scenes for some reason but not when they were supposed to show emotion for each other. So the entire thing is based on the couple and when their chemistry is lacking you can't save it with skinship. Which even skinship there was not as much as some other Thai stuff. Anyway it's not bad they had a great plot and actors but the execution did not work for me.

TL;DR - A pretty enjoyable slap/kiss lakorn. The last episode could've used more work as well as the romance, but it's not so bad that you can't enjoy the deliciously chaotic mess this is. If you like this genre, I'd totally recommend!

Against my better judgment, I enjoyed watching this. Like a lot more than I thought I would. I initially went into this thinking it was another kidnapping island slap/kiss lakorn with terrible characters and plot. Which if it was, it would've been fine by me as I only watch these as a guilty pleasure and don't expect anything deep or complicated. But this lakorn managed to subvert my expectations, and I would like to list some of the things this subverted from the typical slap/kiss clichés you'd expect:

1. a) The ML actually had a good reason and was "justified" in his kidnapping of the FL (I put this in quotations because in reality, kidnapping is never the answer. But this is a slap/kiss so I'm not gonna criticize something I know is a part of the story). I felt pretty awful at the way his sister died and there was so much shit that he was dealing with that the kidnapping felt warranted. By the way, Akkee was a complete psychopath in the lakorn, and watching him was like witnessing a car crash; it's terrible but you can't look away. He was hella entertaining and I couldn't take my eyes off him when he was being so bad (eg. lying to his gf/best friend's face about kidnapping Chabaa with a straight face). It also helps that he's surrounded by people who will call him out on his bullshit and question his cruelty. I could understand why he was pushed to that point and felt sympathy for him, which was absent for the MLs in other lakorns I've watched that are similar to this.

1. b) This is also the first lakorn with this plotline where the ML gets arrested and actually goes to jail for what he did (albeit for a short while). I was so happy when I saw that. I was also happy to see that the ML regretted his actions (and reflected on them) when he found out the truth and apologized to the FL and others he had hurt.

2. Our FL Chabaa can be too nice at times, but is not a doormat and can talk back/fight Akkee when needed. A lot of times in these types of lakorns, the FL has spunk but falters against the aggressiveness of the ML, which I get, but can be disheartening to see. However, Chabaa really stays true to herself and keeps fighting Akkee even when he's being aggressive towards her. She holds herself well against him and it makes for a better watch, especially when she's being sarcastic towards him. I also liked how she was honest with herself and took time in accepting her feelings for Akkee while also consistently rejecting Sarut, who would've been an easy way out from loving Akkee. As I'm typing this, I think I liked Chabaa a lot more than I thought haha. I credit this to the actress, who was a big part in making her character so alive and likable.

3. Little overacting, good pacing and sensible characters with self-awareness. Oh man, it was shocking to me that there were not that many overacting/extreme reactions from our characters. When they were dealt with shocking situations, it would be me having my jaw dropped to the floor while the characters on screen just carried on like it was normal. Things were so messed up, but it was so so good. What helped me stop dwelling on the fact that things were messed up was the great pacing; scenes changed from one thing to another that felt seamless, and allowed enough time to digest what was going on, but not too long where it'd feel drawn out. Again, it was like watching a car crash. The sensibility of all the characters also added to how fun this was to watch; there wasn't a lot of convenient loss of logic or pretending that things were ok when they actually weren't (eg. 2nd ML/Chat knowing he was drugged by the villain, Adun saying to Akkee he knows he kidnapped Chabaa, Dad knows Chat is lying about knowing where Chabaa is). Things don't go on as I expect and it kept me interested enough to quickly click on to the next episode.

I honestly would've rated this higher, but there are two big things holding me back which is the romance and that last episode. I'm pretty disappointed with the romance, as it had the potential to be a good one and both leads had good chemistry with eo. The transition from hate to love was also done very well. But  they spent too much time on Chabaa accepting her feelings for Akkee and drama with the side characters instead of focusing on Akkee proving himself to Chabaa and developing their relationship (this was in the last third of the lakorn). Especially in that last episode ugh, it was so half-assed. Scenes were not in order and it felt like everything was rushed just to finish the lakorn. We see Akkee in the last half of the episode going from self pity to somehow conveniently being with Chabaa, forcing a kiss on her, saying their I love yous and then looking off in the distance. Like wtf? I was so confused. It was an anti-climatic end to a mostly fiery lakorn.

Overall I still unexpectedly enjoyed this lakorn a lot. It's a well made slap/kiss lakorn. Music was good and appropriately played (except there was this one BGM where the chorus part sounded purposefully out of tune...). If you like slap-kiss lakorns, then I would totally recommend you watch. I wouldn't personally re-watch just because I don't tend to re-watch stuff and this doesn't have anything that would bring me back.

Ok so first, I never actually finished watching this show so I don't know how it ends and whatnot. But let me just say, the story line was horrible! Absolute poop. What were the writers even thinking. All the motives for the characters were super shallow, it was the definition of stupidity.
So here are the spoilers from the 5 episodes I actually watched and why I couldn't watch another episode:

1. The main male lead was super childish like he has to blame everyone for his misfortunes. Sure lots of male leads do that but it's just I didn't really see any 'manly' qualities in him like other leads usually have. I just couldn't like him.
2. The second male lead is sooooo weak, it was... I can't even describe it.
3. I didn't really see much chemistry between any of the actors/actresses. Whatever scene they were acting out, it was like the actors chose only one emotion to play in that entire scene. You'd only see one facial expression per emotion.
4. During the 'torture' scenes(when he kidnaps the girl to the island), DISAPPOINTING. If anything, I think the female lead was torturing him. All it did was just show how spoiled the female character was. So they give her food and she knocks it all over the ground and he tells her to clean it up or she'll regret it later, in reality the only thing that happened was ants crawling around. He literally tried telling her. Another thing, part of the 'torture' was making her cook for herself which by the way he just ended up making food for her. Meanwhile, the second male lead is being a weakling and letting himself get walked over and manipulated.

I don't know how else to describe this show, it's just shallow. There's no depth to it.
What really makes a show is the story and this one just didn't have it.
