This J-Drama/Romance was super adorable with a great storyline filled with wonderful actors. I enjoyed the entire movie and really wish it had been a series so I could have enjoyed it longer. Adorable. Relatable. And now one of my top favorite j-romances for SURE! If you love a sweet, romantic story, wonderful characters, and a romance that is believe-able and yet still swoon-worthy, then this show is for you.
Going to watch this one again at Christmas time!????

Characters:
The female lead - Shirono Riko - is a refreshingly intuitive and straightforward character who made me love her more as I rewatched. Competent acting by Tabe Makiko.
I watched this for Takahashi Issei, and as always, he did a fantastic job. His character’s - Kurokawa Soichiro - eccentricity, obliviousness and neuroticity were the highlights of a somewhat run-of-the-mill-romcom. His expressions and antics never got old no matter how many times I rewatched.
Music:
The background music was lovely and meshed well with the over all theme of the show.
A show which stood up to repeated viewings. The show still managed to make me laugh at all the situational comedy the third to fourth time I rewatched the show.

I was waiting for this movie since I don't know when ... and actually I forgot the title (^o^;) I won't tell you the story of how I finally watch this, so let's move to the movie (^_^)
The movie is quite cheesy, actually ... but the story is fun. I love the role of Kurokawa, he is so funny with his awkward attitude. On the other side, Riko's passion towards her job is rather cute too. I still don't get it about the coup d'etat, but well ... at least that action make the good-rather-cheesy closure.
I love this movie, it will warmed your heart in Christmas day (^_^)

The female lead is cute and just so relateable to me. Another reason why I love this movie. It’s for women like me who are starry-eyed hopeless romantics.
The male lead fit my kind of guy, in fiction anyway. But let me tell you, there are men like him in the real world, not many though. I got one like him. *blush. He’s so adorable when he made the effort to understand and learn what women want in guys and in relationships. If you meet a guy like him, and stays consistent, keep him *wink.
Music was generic but didn’t really bother me.
Ending might be a bit rushed. But then if they dragged it, might be less effective.
This movie reminds me of a Japanese drama- Rich Man, Poor Woman which I also liked. The same setting, a computer/app company. Romance between the boss and the employee. Then there’s the 2nd male lead who wanted to take over the company. Except there’s more romantic moments in this movie.
I will most likely watch this again, probably on a day when I just want to sit down, watch something that will make laugh and giggle.

Riko Shirono falls for a man during an incident that looks like coming out of romantic story. But to her dismay, Soichiro Kurokawa points out that the reality is not what she thinks. From hating him (since he shatters her fantasy) to loving him, that's what this show is about. It becomes quite dull in the middle with lots of conversations. Finally there is a plot twist, and Riko's love is tested. Great acting from all roles involved in the romance. Warm and fluffy, as the intend to air drama special a few days before Christmas. The story was extra cute and the couple was adorable, due to the reason that they were different and fun to watch. The story was predictable and cliche, however, it was well made and kind of sweet and cozy. Probably a guitly pleasure, but it is short for a movie and well paced. The performances were good too from all actors and actresses of the cast. The final ending was okay and very romantic.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

GREAT WATCH!!! great balance of romance and storyline, satisfying ending !
this movie was AMAZING!!! i loved every second, from the happy smiles of the characters to the beautiful ending, this movie was such a good watch! the romance and plot balance was perfect and the chemistry between actors was so good that even when they weren’t doing anything you could feel the love and tension between them! i also loved the concept and the fl’s ideas about love and how she helps the ml to find himself and establish his own perception on love! go watch this, it’s a great watch for those who want to sit down with a hot drink and watch a bubbly yet mature romance movie!! (if you’re worried about it being childish don’t worry!! it’s not childish at all)Was this review helpful to you?
Just Your Typical Christmas Hallmark Movie!
This review is gonna be pretty short and this is just on what i felt seeing this movie and i am not over-viewing the details of this movie. This movie is pretty simple and typical movie but the fact is that the movie acknowledges that fact that it is typical and its simpleness is what makes it special. A all-in-one pack to get ur crush.I have never seen these actors but i liked their acting and portrayed the characters they are supposed to play very beautifully. The FL was the best. She knew what she wanted, spoke her mind and even considered advices and put them to work and the ML was also good. He was simple minded and didn't criticizes people who are honest. The rest of the characters also gave a realistic vibe.
The overall story is really nice and a great movie to re-watch any time when u r feeling low and need to understand what to do to get a date and all the needed tactics. If u want to get ur crush, this is the movie to watch. Its cliche alright but it works!

Fun show!
This was a sweet story about a woman that's creating a dating game to play on your phone, and the president of the company that has absolutely no clue about women. Their relationship starts out antagonistic and the bulk of the movie is about their developing friendship. It speaks to the importance of friendship and how we often don't see a relationship for what it is, until it's almost too late. Yes, there is a large age difference between the two, but it really doesn't matter - she's mature, and he's very naive about the real world. The age difference made me focus on their relationship, and not how gorgeous-looking they were, which made me sink deeper into the enjoyment of the story. Part of it was filmed at Christmastime which made the whole thing kind of like a shiny package of happiness. The ending was happy, though as Asian dramas are wont to do, extremely rushed. Was this review helpful to you?

This is a cute, sweet movie about two people who have had difficulties finding and believing in real life love. Riko Shirano is a game designer. I like that she doesn’t cower and speaks up for herself. She’s pretty; it’s adorable that her dimple shows when she smiles. Although this came out in 2016, I still love her outfits and styling! Soichiro Kurokawa is the epitome of the cold, successful, driven company owner (adorable with his glasses on!). He has a three year one-sided love for an employee, the pretty Momose, but fails at some awkward attempts to show her his interest. So, he enlists Riko to be his Cyrano de Bergerac. She uses romantic movies to teach him all the romantic tropes such as the drunken piggy back ride and the airport scene. They become friends through sharing their stories; sometimes unpleasant and sad history. I like that through the act of getting to know each other, becoming friends first, lead to them falling in love. His love confession at the end is a dream come true for the romantics at heart. I love that we get a happy ending and a nice kissing scene. Was this review helpful to you?
That was all what I got to say about the movie but somehow they would not let me submit a review that is shorter than five hundred characters/alphabets so I am still writing just to fulfill the requirements ﹀︿﹀
I hope this is enough lol.
