Best friends Atsushi and Shintaro's goal in life is to become comedians. Both apply for a comedy school hosted by the popular comedian "Lemonade Yoshioka", where they meet with Yamaguchi, Kamitsuru, Yoichiro, and Mitchie, a diverse group of boys who also gathered there for various reasons. However, it turns out that they were all scammed and gathered in a pole dance class instead. Even though the whole thing was a lie, Shintaro and the rest decide to give pole dancing a try. After Atsushi uploads Shintaro's pole dance video online, his popularity began to skyrocket. Inspired by the video, two more members, Yukito and Ikeoka, join the group. The boys then decide to hold a man-only pole dance show to recover the money they spent in the fake comedy school. (Source: Wikipedia) Edit Translation

Where do I begin? This movie has been in my watchlist for the longest time and finally I forced myself to watch it! Do I regret? Of course not. It was the best thing I've ever seen in my life? Of course not, but it was enjoyable in its own special way. I'm not gonna lie, this movie catched my eye because of the male pole dancing theme and it has really been a rollercoaster of emotions for me... but not only in the good way... at first I was kind of lured away by how this movie sexualized the actresses and how the camera focused many times on their butts while dancing, not really my kind of thing. But then things started to get interesting as the actors themselves appeared in very short pants (and some of them even in their underwear!) and started to do pole dancing. Sexualizing girls and boys alike was a surprise as not many movies do that, but then I realize that pole dance is supposed to be very sexy and hot, and you are supposed to hold onto the pole with your bare tights... it’s not that I can complain, I actually enjoyed all the fanservice they gave us! (I bet all the D2 fans out there got a massive nosebleed while watching this xd)

The plot was simple and the characters didn’t really had any important development, but I do really appreciate all the effort the actors put into this since pole dancing isn’t exactly easy and can be very painful... even more if you are a male. Everyone did a great job and the fact that they gave us a full pole dance performance at the end shows how dedicated all the actors were with this film.
