Love, Just Come (2017)

After finishing this show I had to take a deep breath and watch something else before I could write this review. I was so upset that I had spent the last few hours watching such a bad show. If you're familiar with C-Drama's then you understand that they commonly recycle the same cliches. This show used every cliche EVER! I don't want to spoil anything, but just understand that I'm not exaggerating. Plot I don't want to be a debbie downer but this show had very few good points. The plot went all over the place, and sometimes I couldn't figure out what story the show was trying to tell. The synopsis mentions that it is about a girl with a great sense of smell who creates perfumes and becomes successful with the help of others. That is a very inaccurate summary. That summarized less than 5 episodes. Every character mentioned in the synopsis was evil starting from episode 1 and betrayed the female lead at least once. Even the male lead hid a few secrets from her. The perfume company was mentioned, but the majority of this show takes place in the hotel industry. Characters They were all bad. The main female lead was stupid, naive, and childish. Later in the story she becomes less childish but she was still easy, and gullible. The male lead was cute and worked hard to get his happy ever after with female lead. Sadly though he was a pushover, and lacked a spine. He let his family control him, and his arranged fiancee manipulate him. A lot. He got stuck in her little traps so often it was annoying. The first half of the series he was constantly in the hospital because he never learned from past experiences. The villains were just terrible. They are your common cliche villains that could be handled quickly in real life, but in dramaworld it take 60 episodes to do. There was not one smart person among the characters. Overall this show was not worth the time. I had watched until episode 12, skipped to episode 32. and trust me the plot hadn't changed much. It was still very stupid. The show definitely didn't need to be 60 episodes and it might've actually been good if it had been maybe 12 episodes. It's just hard to handle these fools for 60 episodes. I recommend this show for people who love cliches, have high patience levels, like stupid leads, and have plenty of time to waste. This was a great drama, at first 60 episodes do scares me, because I know dramas with that many episodes will only drag the storyline longer and I was not wrong. Thes problem in this story is that the main girl frustrates me so much that there was a time I wanted the lead guy to just give up on her and go find someone else, but after all those screaming and yelling, and give it my patience and I finished it. The actors are very good at carrying out their role, especially the evil characters, they came out stronger than the lead which makes it very interesting. Totally recommend for those who enjoy, family dramas, love, hate relationship and dream comes true kind of genre.

I can't believe that I watched all 60 episodes of this. It had every single drama cliché (and several more than once). Think car accidents, near drownings, fatal illnesses, amnesia, dictatorial parents, "not good enough" syndrome in a couple, rich guy/poor girl, male lead in upper management (General Manager of hotel, CEO of company), attempted business coups, fake pregnancy, sibling rivalry, stalker obsession and then some...

So what was good about it?
(1) I really liked the female lead's role and her acting as Qing Ling. I loved her perseverance, her respect and filial care for elders, her passion for fragrance and the ways she used her gift to help others. Although her repeated gullibility was less appealing.
(2) The supporting actors Duan Tian Lang's sister, Xue Qing, and her husband Ding Hai were both really pleasing to watch/easy on the eye. Their characters were caricatured extremes that annoyed the heck out of me, but I did enjoy looking at the actors.
(3) the 'feel good' ending and the attempt at inserting a semi-serious message about mental illness.
(3) and yes, even though I mocked all the trite tropes, I still watched every single episode!

What was less good?
(1) The role of the male lead, Duan Tian Lang, drove me nuts. I'd oscillate between finding him and his dedication to Qing Ling attractive. Then in the next scene he would throw something like a temper tantrum when something didn't go his way. He wanted to be protective but his overly trusting nature left him looking like an idiot most of the time. I mean how can you not notice after 3 months that your wife isn't really pregnant?
(2) the insanely over-dramatic orchestral background music that amped up the emotion in every scene
(3) after watching so many ridiculously short-sighted and selfish people for 55+ episodes, I struggled with their "conversion" for the happily ending. Can enemies really become friends that quickly? And who moves so readily from treating people like tools to relating with them as fellow humans and respecting them?

If I watched this again it would be for the same reason I watch campy B-level movies. It's so painful it's good...

First, before i watched this drama. I saw some scene in may Facebook account and i find it interesting so i download it and spend with 2 weeks and 2 days just to watched this drama. Although, i hate those 3 evil witch and thier are some hatred from thier heart but at the end they forgive each other. Honestly, i want to skip in every episode, but i cant cause i want to watch the whole scene so i wont missed some pieces of it. Because, i feel, it so annoying while watching her hurt but i cant cause i know at the end thier will a happy ending. Im verry satisfied for this drama and it also made me cry... ?

Nice drama ,actually starting is good .In starting few episodes story goes smooth shows how hardship one face in their love life ,how a person make other person stairs for their success....How a person took the advantage of other goodness....How sometime people can't handle the betraying that they make their life worsen that they loose confidence on others ...Then after 30 episodes it looks they extended the story too much that they can finish it in 30 to 35 episodes ....Two thing I did not understand how the lead girl and her actual grandmother meet after separation and they live together without knowing their relationship with each other ..Secondly when male lead actor comes to know that lead actrees pretending to be someone .... And she open her truth in front of him ... Thirdly what it is the used to keep the grandmother in unconscious state in 10 episodes and shows her death scene ,why their is need to make her die and if she die in this drama then why their is need to kept her in unconscious state .Rest I can say it is good love story but some episodes are too boring . Everything is good ,. acting ,story but I don't like the direction ...
