Ikemen Desu Ne Episode 4 Reactions
the kinder gentler Ren is stealing my heart again, fishing for compliments from Mio and acknowledging that she's not just another fan. it's obvious he cares about her even if he's not ready to admit it yet. still really enjoying Mio. her quiter calmer portrayal is far less nervewracking.
as for the supporting cast they are really in the periphery, except when shu gets his five minutes and pokes his head out the rabbit hole to try to slither in between Mio and Ren. Yuki is getting less and less funny. this is really unfortunate b/c though jeremy really wasnt important to the plot at all he was great comic relief and nice to look at. Yuki is neither.
another thing i am noticing is the soundtrack. those 3 or 4 songs that defined You're beautiful's OST arent nearly as pervasive. by the end of YB i had heard those songs (GREAT SONGS) so many times it made me want to go listen to "almost paradise" just to get them out of my head. here, there are a couple of new ones and they arent on that super heavy rotation, so when you do hear them, even after a few episodes you are'nt rolling your eyes moaning "Again??"
