Two men enter a relationship, one has a single mum which his partners is acquainted with as theyve eaten together etc., yet theyve not revealed their relationship to her. However, as tragedy strikes and something happens to the son his partner and mum grow closer.

The settings are very different from eachother and Night Flight is more brutal but if you enjoyed one you might also enjoy the other

Korean BL stories about two guys in love. They face challenges like societal discrimination and injury. The theme in both is; will they end up together despite everything?

Half of the Made on the Rooftop is similar to In Between season since one of the characters gets into a car accident and his family does not know that he's gay. In the first movie though the partner continues to hide from the family but in the second they were in the accident together so the truth came out and the whole movie is about the mother dealing with that revelation!

Both movies display the hardships and homophobia that pursue a homosexual relationship.

Just Friends is a short(25min) movie about two guys in love and hiding it from one's mother who goes ballistic when she finds out though she calms down in the end. There are some scenes that are exactly the same. The director must have seen Just friends...
