Cambrian Period (2017)

As beautiful as the cast was, the acting was meh. I love Minghao, but sadly his acting wasn't the best in this. The story seemed very rushed and felt like they just added a bunch of random things to keep the plot going. It started off good, but as it moved along it wasn't the best. I feel like they should've organized the plot better. Even so I still loved it. The main couple was adorable and hilarious as well. The second lead wasn't that strong so you'll probably always end up loving those two together either way. I would recommend to at least give it a try and if you want to give up on it then feel free to.

First of All, this was my first chinese drama I watched with my own will. (all the other chinese dramas were watched for my studies...)
I loved every second of it and especially his chemistry with the girl even though he looked prettier than her.... (It's the truth...)
The drama was like City Hunter of Lee MInho. Which I enjoyed watching and I bet people who liked the drama would like Cambrian Period too.

I was a little mad with Mike He's acting skills cause I expected a better act since he had a long career of acting. His voice acting was... Horrible. (my point of view).

The others were all nice I loved everything and I watch it again sometimes when Im bored and go 'AWWWWW~~' so I bet the romance action lovers would be with me. Hope this helped! Bye~

I didn’t know what I was getting into when first watched this. Not to mention I didn’t know about MDL , at the time to write a review! I watched for Mike He and fell in love with Neo! Lol funny right? So let’s get into it.
Story- it kept me engaged for sure! The suspense, the action, the comedy, the love story, it was all there! It kept me glued to the tv every episodes.
Acting- these actors delivered! From our young ML (❤️Neo) to every cast member, they nailed their characters!
Neo can fight, handle a gun, be comical, and boy can kiss! I thought they picked the right actor for Lian Pu. Who would think someone like Jian Zi to be such a bad ass right? Mike He delivered in his role as expected! Fl was fun to watch and the chemistry was perfect!
Music- the soundtrack was beautiful! Also I still have Neo’s song the Mask on my playlist, he can sing!
The ending was definitely hard to accept, if you think he died. I however don’t think so. I think it’s supposed to have a second season, but for some reason it just didn’t happen so I’ll just make my own up! To me he survived. I think the other group members came up with a plan to get him out of that car before it fell off the cliff, it’s to fake his death and set him free from being the head leader , but he will always be Lian Pu.

This drama is sad and is full of fighting. I love this drama. Whenever the ending song comes up in a sad situation I start to cry. Also, the female lead was supposed to be jealous but she didn't seem like it which I think she is very strong. Also, its what Mingzhu and Li Yong Zhi get for not getting the one they love. In the start, it was very funny and surprising but afterwards, it showed sadness. Also, at least the ones that were bad guys will finally die or go to prison. This is full of a strong romance and in any situation, they will help each other. And no matter what situation they will stay together as a team to go through this hard level. Full of friendship. There is also another couple that is Mai Qian Cheng and Cai Jia Yi. Cai Jia Yi was mean and unreasonable at first but then with Tang Yin, she learned to care for others and even if in the outside that person is caring and nice but in the inside, they were bad and will do anything to get what they want.

This 2017 Series is really worth to watch...
Actually i didnt expect that it was that good, I love the story about Mafia or Gang but they incorporate few comedy scene.. its a story of choosing to be good no matter what ur surroundings are... its really a good story...
The way Neo Hou kiss is not a joke hahaha...its real... how i wish all actors are like that not a fish kiss hahaha... Their one-night stand scene in the car was really good... its funny at the same time its cheesy...
Although, they id not elaborate more about the ending, but for me is OK, its satisfying...

Ok I loved this drama hated how they left me on a cliffhanger like did he die was that him at the end how can you leave me off with so many questions that needed answers other then that the drama wasn't bad it messes with your emotions a lot but other then that it was good and if you are wondering if there will be a second season as from the comments section no there won't which sucks cause they want us to keep guessing if he died or not but it's fine no it's not fine we have questions that needs answers but that's my opinion on the drama please feel free to watch it and speak about your experience with this lovely drama

good drama to watch but not really suit to under 18 to watch this. many fight scene and a little bit sex scene. this drama was funny to watch. this is not light drama because we also need to investigate what really happen in this drama. the romance are freaking good. I'm melting watching the chemistry of lead especially the male lead. but if you don't like the fight part just skip to romance and funny part. and the best thing is the plot twist. and the ending hurmm it's good (?) :p overall this drama is pretty good but i will never watch this again because of the crime and fight scene. i don't really like that thing. at the beginning I didn‘t like the female lead role. to me she didn‘t really have a strong will. she was some kind of follower. but she developed her own personality through out the drama. in generell the drama has a few very cute scenes and I rewatched it at least 3 times. the ending wasn‘t satisfying therefore I still hope for a second season. but it‘s not a sad ending. there are a few scenes with the father of the male lead which I find quite boring.

I would recommend this drama. but if you don‘t like obvious storylines you shouldn‘t watch it. there was only on surprising action in the hole drama (only my opinion).

About story, so it was not that much strong .Not at all feel connectivity with the emotional scene .Last episode of the drama put a big question mark and "wh" question.What but why ,is there going to be another season ? If yes so please mention the planning of releasing it ,if not then drama is totally messed up . The lead actor face is so much cute and innocent face that he is not suit with the role he did, he look okay with love scene and with the emotional scene but do not suit with angry man face scene ,I means he doing work under the mafia so the strong impact not scene in his face .....All I can say if you don't have drama to watch then you can go for it.
About acting everyone did a great job .I like 2nd lead story too but last part shown that they also have incomplete ending.

This drama has a nail biting plot that leaves you on the edge of your seat after every episode. The acting is very good as it makes you sympathize with them and can make you cry. I really recommend this drama is you like action and romance, as this this the best drama I have seen with action and romance. This drama instantly makes you fall in love the the characters after 5 minutes because they have a very fast and interesting beginning straight to the end that doesn't want to put it down. It has a very strong beginning so after 5 minutes you wouldn't ant to stop because I myself have put off dramas because the beginning was too boring. I hope you guys watch this drama, love it as much as I did and pray for a season 2 and 3 as it is based on a trilogy.
