Couldn't Even Finish Episode 4

How should I put this.

This is so bad? The synopsis was very promising, but the writing is terrible, the production is terrible, the CGI is terrible,... One of the leads says the exact same two exposition sentences to two different characters within 3 minutes of each other, all that within the first five minutes of the show.

It's also full of clichés. For example: when faced with a wild beast, ML just has to stare at it for it to cower in fear, but when it's FL's turn, the beast turns to putty in her hands and asks to be pet. Also, magic school with different factions.

The lead is the usual Gary Stu. Born powerless, considered as useless his whole life, he gets uberpowerful out of nowhere, proceeds to wow the gallery, and is asked to teach at a so-called super selective magic school even before he's fully admitted as a student. Everyone treats him like a bosom brother even though they all met like 5 minutes ago. Heck, his seniors ask for him to teach them?! What?

The second male lead was horribly miscast, imo. People keep saying that he's "too young and ignorant" to ascend to the throne, except the actor they picked was 33 when they shot the show, and he's not one of those baby-faced actors, he really isn't.

Most of the actors are terrible, too, so no solace to be found on that front.

The only thing that's somewhat worth it is the original score, but sadly it can't make up for how bad this entire thing is.

I couldn't even make it to the end of episode 4, I just have no patience for this, and I'm very disappointed because the posters were gorgeous.

Drama that Lost in Fantasy, Story, Characters

Story: Typical Zero to Hero, Save the world, lacking uniqueness for me to remember.
it is average plot about evil sword treasure (i am not too sure why sword can be the main evil here) destroyed the world then sealed by past heroes (naruto-ish).

Although ML start with no-power and cursed with no-ability to horn any divine skill.
In Eps 1 then it is revealed, ML is destined to have stone that could give him over-power-skill-etc and i guess (as i dropped the series) then begin a journey to hone its power. Honestly i don't like this kind of ML get the power from treasure. I don't like Lead who is given power by someone/something.

It is really typical story, nothing special.

Characters: Too fast introduction thus no connection.
Lacking of introductions, especially on main leads. The ML just meh, he is supposed to be smart and fast learner, as he is good at physical skill although he is blind and can't move forward with spiritual skill, similar with Ever Night ML.
From introduction to breakthrough of enable him to learn spiritual skill is too fast (only one episode) therefore i am not attached with his character at all.
Same issue with FL and Main supporting casts.

Actors: Below average actors to play bad characters. Or perhaps the characters will be not bad if the actors do a decent job?
ML: bad, no distinctive personality. Like average joe next door character an become a main lead. Is he smart? I don't know. Righteous? Yes but not showing. Hardworking? Maybe.
FL: average, well she is spoiled brat with talent, break the rule here and there, nosy with other people business.
FL Antagonist: her acting is bad. She is bad an try to look nice, however why everyone immediately know her ambiguous character. She is not smart enough to play someone try to hide her evil side.
ML Antagonist: Bad acting. Not worth to explain

Music:
I don't pay attention too much on music, so i give it 8.

Glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews Enjoying

From the first episode I have been hooked. This is a well produced drama with attractive & strong leads . I love their chemistry from the first moment they laid eyes on each other they were drawn to each other & protective of one another. This drama has plenty of action and mystery. I love the leads eye contact. I just finished 36 episodes of a A Class of Her Own with only a cheek kiss at the end but surprisingly it kept my attention because the lead couple were able to convey their feelings in other ways. However, from the introduction of this drama it shows the lead couple will kiss and hug which I am looking forward to. I love. period romance dramas that are easy to follow like this and Rebel Princess. Wonderland of Love, The Story of Kunning Palace, Eternal Love, Love Like the Galaxy, Princess Weiyoung, the King’s Affection,, and now finishing Captivating the King.

Truly want to complete watching the drama just for Peter Sheng.

The story is interesting. I am a fan of the male lead Peter Sheng and was all set to enjoy a piece of great work. Sadly, the actors were all disjointed as if they did not review their script nor did they understand their character parts. They seem to be in their own micro world and not acting with each other. The directing did not help either. The actors also seem to have mental changes with each screen change. For example, the crown prince at first screen had some noble air in the palace but turned into a jiang-hu thug during the academy screens. In one scene as he runs for his life, he bends over his knees in total exhaustion; as he straightened his back, he stands upright as if exhaustion did not exist a second before. The male lead's personality fluctuated through different scenes such that I can not pin his true character; is he cold elegance or young boyish or shy gentle? Two side characters joined the school the same time the main characters did under the approval of the elder as having a "good heart and character" turns out to be school bullies leading a group of followers in the next scene. [My confused self: wait a minute, aren't they new students? How did they become seniors with minions and power? What happened to the two sweet innocent like boys at the entry exam?] As a Peter Sheng fan, I believe his acting could only be as stable as he could musters under the destructive guidance of the director. There are also some flaws with film editing. I can only imagine a "could be" hit drama if only it was under better directing and editing.

As coreografia é okey e a CGI é péssima.
O figurino é aceitável.

A OST é talvez o ponto forte e a melhor coisa do drama.

O elenco é okey, devo mencionar a Bai Qiu Xue,
