This drama was unique because it follows the life of not just one person but of four of them. These four women are best friends and they each get their own love line. They teach us to stay true to the hopes and dreams of when we were younger. They also teach us the importance of friendship and unconditional love. I like how we get a glimpse into all of their lives and get to see how their love lines develop. Without saying too much, be prepared for a huge bomb in the middle of all of this. It was a jawdropper for me. I was pleasantly surprised that the writers added this into the story because it's not talked about a lot, especially in conservative cultures.

I do wish they gave more screen time to Rio and Mizuho. I feel like their storylines were rushed towards the end. Mizuho, I felt like had a lot of potential to be a great character and I wish she didn't always get the bad end of the stick. No matter how much I looked at it I couldn't help but feel like Rio didn't get a proper ending. Other than that I loved this drama.

Fu and Okuzono were a cute couple. Sometimes I felt like she acted a little too young, but I think Okuzono's mature side balances out this part of her. Like she said while they are complete opposites of each other and have different tastes in manga/anime (lol) she can't help but love him. Sometimes love isn't logical and sometimes we find it with the person we least expect. I laughed out loud when she did her "most embarrassing pose." XD I think she learned her lesson to just be herself when it comes to relationships. That's what I love about this drama. It teaches us that what works for one couple might not work for another so just be yourself.

Enjoji/Hiyama couple. What can I say? Lol. They were a HOT couple. Enjoji and her escapades were refreshing and, to be frank, a little exciting to watch. Their storyline can only be described as a girl trying to get the attention of a man who shows zero interest in her. You can tell Hiyama has a lot of fun messing with her because of this. It's like a cat and mouse game between these two. Can she catch him in the end? I went in expecting to like Fu and Okuzono's relationship the most but found myself rooting for Enjoji and Hiyama in the end.

Overall, I'd give it a 9/10.

Very underwhelming, I expected too much out of it and it turned out to be a complete lame story!
The story is supposed to be mature but I have found zero relatable points to real life, more like teenagers cosplaying as adults and concerned about sex only!

As for the characters, I disliked how they lacked consistency, characters would suddenly pop out a trait that didn't exist in them initially without any reasonable development turned me off a couple of time, and especially the heroine where every logic and consistency were dropped while shaping her!
DEAR GOD! Fu was so annoying and childish it made it difficult to watch the drama, every scene of her felt like an extended slow and silent movie with the boredom and annoyance that comes with it! Enjouji also lacked logic in her story, while I like her story the most, some of her actions were as annoying as Fuu.

The whole drama is written poorly, the ideas, scenes, touching moments are all scattered around that it doesn't make any sense at all, I hoped it would get better towards the end but it was bitter that I dropped it!!

Light and Fun - good length

Was browsing through Amazon to find something to watch to fill my time before the weekend was over. Something light and fun and gave this one a try, I didn’t really have any expectations, it was just something to kill time. Before I even started I had thought that I might be dropping the show in the middle.

I ended up enjoying this show. It was a good length, about 25 mins per episode, a total of 12 episodes. It meant that problems weren’t dragged on for long. It fit what I was looking for – light and fun. The four girls’ friendship was really nice, they have different personalities but they were very supportive of each other.

Happy for the three couples. I think they are good together.

In a way, Mizuho does have her own happy ending.

Endearing Characters

It's been a while since I have watched a TV show that had such endearing characters. They feel so human and real.

I loved the way the story was told. No drama felt unnecessary or shoe horned in for the sake of 'making a moment' and sub-plots are actioned in a way that doesn't feel long winded or cut short for the sake of time management. I think this show shines the most with how enjoyable the overall viewing experience is, there are very few if any moments where you feel you are just going from point A to B for the sake of it.

Excellently cast as well. The actors involved seemed to really understand the part they were playing and where that character fit into the story. I especially enjoyed the performances of Otani Ryohei, and Takahashi Maryjun.

(A lot of folk label this as a 'light & funny' show, whilst this is for the most part true Episode 8 has a DV component to the story and people interested in watching this show should know that in advance.)

I cannot recommend this series enough.

Sweet but typical

There is one main story of one of the girls, and the rest have their own stories to follow as well, just not as much as the main character. The main girl is supposed to be your typical ditzy but loveable one. I usually think characters like that are stupid and annoying at times. My favorite was Enjoji, because she is quite different from the others, more confident and seemingly knows what she wants. Rio is a pretty cool character too, but Mizuho was hard to tolerate. Romance is a large plotline of the drama, and I wish there was more focus on the friendship between the four girls. I went into it expecting more about the friendship. But it's definitely a fun watch nevertheless.

The start of this drama had me excited for what was to come- I was let down. Any drama that features a cast of women friends with various personalities always peaks my interest (Golden Girls is my all time favorite show for a reason). My main gripe with this drama is that it turned from a great slice of life to a ridiculous unrealistic fluff piece.
Cast- an ensemble with actors and actresses I've seen before including Maryjun who I'm seriously digging as she just randomly ends up in dramas I watch. Mizuki- her character was annoying from the start but then it looked like she was maturing only to became unbearable again. Maryjun- her character actually had substance and the writer could have did more with it but they just glossed over it; damn shame. Reina- another actress that just pops up is dramas I'm watching but unlike Maryjun I don't really care for her. She always plays the damsel that needs to be saved by someone and it's really annoying; on the plus side, her character had a real cute wardrobe. Aya- loved her character from the jump. She was somewhat a believable character in that she wasn't perfect and didn't pretend to be but towards the end like everyone else she became a drama character instead of a real life one (if you get what I mean). Ryohei- he's like the male version of Reina, just randomly shows in dramas I'm watching and that his characters tend to be somewhat weak and not really reliable. Last but not least, Shunsuke- he was just straight up sexy lol no other words needed.
Overall even though I was disappointed, I still enjoyed the ride this drama provided and would still recommend it for a pretty decent rom/com.
