A short movie that teach you to be a better you today

I only want to explain about the story in my own perception. It can be wrong but I think I will give a simple review about this movie since it's very short, with only 3 main casts and several settings, but it's totally grab my attention!

Yes.. it is a very confusing to understand the ending.. However... the meaning of the whole story is very deep. And I can tell the writter is very brilliant!

Now we go to the story:

Both Yuki & Sakai here have the same perception and situation toward their life.. which is they feel life is boring.. the world hate them, and they hate themselves too, so they have no idea how to change and if the change is necessary.
In short, they give up to their life since they only take daily routine and it feels like their time is totally stuck.

But Yuki suddenly find her dream that is a good looking yet passionate guy: Shota, who later on lead her to change her life.
Through her meeting with Shota, she learn how to change her life to be a likeable person, and to be a better version of herself each day, so she can be loved.

This is a story that describe about this simple illustration in our life:
"when you feel lonely and hate your life.. and when you don't want to change to be a better version of you, then your day is actually just repeated the same (since you only do your daily routine)."

So here..in this movie, when Yuki's time keep repeating the same is actually symbolize about people life.. like us, that sometimes can feel stuck in our daily routine, so we keep repeating our days, as if nothing has change.

The broken MP3 in this movie is a message. Yuki keep using it and never try to fix it eventhough its broken since she think its functionally still be fine.
It is the same with her life. She think there is no need to fix herself or do any changes on it.

When she realize that she wants a "tomorrow" in her life, and she feel that life is better with many changes and all of the uncertainty, she give her broken MP3 to Sakai.. means she is ready to change her daily and face her life in different way of thinking.

She then reveal everything to Shota, and showing him how much she wants a new day to come for her. Then yes.. finally, her day starts to move again, that simply describe about her life is start to move again.
Meanwhile Sakai is still being trapped in his own time, since he think it's okay to repeat the same day as it can still make a better version of himself day by day.

So.. don't think too logically about how and why there is time travel, or those magical thing has happened in the movie. Simply put it as the reflection of our life.
Daily routine in most of people life, is actually no better than the time that is not moving at all, and just keep repeating everyday.
Try to make changes and face your challenge everyday, then you will see the tomorrow has come.

Short, simple and meaningful love (and life) story!

At first I was confused with the ending but when I think about it one more time, this drama conveys such a great message. This is a story about 2 people who always repeat the same day over and over again. At the end of the story one of them (ban-san) is still repeating the same day while the other, our female lead (yuki) seems to break the cycle and finally can move on to "tomorrow".

From what I perceive, the message they're trying to convey is that, if you give up on tomorrow, you'll just be the same person as you were yesterday. But if you don't give up, keep trying and hoping, the better days will come to you. This is what makes yuki and ban-san different. She didn't give up, while he gave up.

Truly such a beautiful story told in a short movie...it seems like a simple message but the overall acting from the cast make it even more better.. Recommended for someone who likes romance stories.

Coming of age, simple and will warm your cold heart eventually

This is my first time writing a review and since no one is writing one , here we go fellas.

First off , if you into a web drama simple non complicated plot whatsoever kind of story , this is definitely your cup of tea. Story just consist of 3 actors and the place and setting is just the bar, the leads home and the art gallery they been at. I found the way the story progress is just nice for the pace but I am more interested in the emotions portrayed by both leads. As the plot summary revealed the FL is just repeating the same day in order to get the attention of the ML. It is quite frustrating for her to do the same thing and getting reject over and over again. Well ofc she eventually get him to fall in love with her, but as I thought she will be happy about it, it turns out that the guilt and day not moving forward somehow makes her realized that it's maybe not worth it to get to know everything about him but not him with her.

I'm a huge fan of Mackenyu and this is basically his first major role in a romance drama where he get the girl lol. I'm pretty sure the reason he avoid taking a role like this , is to avoid typecasting and I really admire him for that but I'm still hoping that he will pick more role like this since this drama is not cringey at all. Basically my man here is just a depressed sad boy after his ex left him for another guy. You kinda sympathize with his character since he is also clueless as to why even the FL wanting to leave him after they had spent a blissful day together.

I would like to praise Nimura Sawa for her role as well, she did a really good job in such a short time. All the emotions come pouring when she chase him out of her house. Girl, I admire your dedication I can never get over a rejection one time but you pulled thru 32 times(I guess) and manage to get him in a date, you truly deserve the whole world for your undying effort.

Somehow I can relate to both character, I mean the loneliness that we felt for being left and not getting the acknowledge by society. I highly recommend this drama, the soundtrack is pretty cool as well, it gives you some sort of loneliness vibe? Any who, I hope I can find a drama this good, it left you feeling bittersweet and wanting more. Thank you for reading my long ass view , have fun watching it = )

It's addictive, I'll give it that.

When you are going to watch a drama that deals with living the same day again and again, I feel like you should go in without knowing anything. So, I will be very vague with my review.

I watched it at around 2 a.m., telling myself I'll watch one episode and then go to bed. But, nope, it kept my attention even though I was tired like anything, and I watched it all in one go. But that could also be because I just love the stories based on the idea of living the same day again and again.

Having said that, four episodes are just too less. The pacing for the last episode was so abrupt and rushed, that it single-handedly brought down the rating for me.

Open threads were knotted messily. A sub-plot they hinted on wasnt explored and people were not shocked or confused by the big reveal. It was a mess and left me feeling unsatisfied. Not in a good way AT ALL.

Would I still recommend it? Sure, it's only like an hour long, and it is attention-grabbing.

One word: Mackenyu

honestly Mackenyu's the reason why i watched this. the concept is not new, neither is the story. would only watch again for macken lol. im completely biased here. I like his face and I like his acting. I acknowledged him first with Kento Yamazaki's Todome no kiss. Little did I know ill end up fallinggggggg and fallingggggggg aaaaand falling for these two. Its rare to find a drama with Macken as a first lead. So, my friends, watch it for him not for the story unless youve never came across a time laps concept/ repeating the same day thingy
