Overall I can understand where the story was going and what message it was trying to bring across. I know why the film ended the way it did and it was very easy to follow.
However, the cast, although it looked very promising, didn’t make it believable enough for me. Hou Minghao did very well, I thought he played his role as intended but for some reason Peng Yuchang didn’t deliver his character to what I think he could’ve. He’s a generally good actor but I don’t think the rebellious teenager role really suited him which is a shame because I think he could’ve done much better.
I cannot remember the music at all, which just means it was neither good or bad. So no huge complaints about it.
Overall, a movie with a good message but not perfectly delivered. Couldn’t really remember the character’s names and CG effects could’ve been done better. No need to rewatch.

Whoever wrote this script or book was a genius for me! Thank from the bottom of my heart to you for this amazing story, which changed ME. I had a chance to translate every word of this film to another language and it really made a big impact on me. I cried ,smiled, cried and smiled, love it , hate it, at the end it I was filled only with LOVE because I finally understood IT. SO GRATeFUL I HAD A CHANCE TO WATCH IT!!!!!!!From the movie : “TODAY IS PERFECT! YOU JUST DON’T KNOW IT YET”

It’s definitely a meaningful movie.
When I saw the ratings on this movie I thought, it can’t be that bad! I was right! This movie hits! Having to live through a few friends that chooses to end their lives early is very painful. We have to face the ultimate question why? We run around asking ourselves what could we have done to help change things for them. The bottom line is …we can’t. We can’t change what’s already done. We just have to come to terms with their decision and try to live the best we can with them in our hearts.To me that’s what this movie was conveying. So choose to love each other, be there to support each other before you live regretting it.
It’s a beautiful friendship that they had.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meaning behind the movie is so profound! I’d definitely rewatch this.
