Sketch is well written, acted and directed. The premise of the drama is interesting and there are some great twists and turns. It has great action and emotion. I was taken aback by how far the writer was willing to go. Also, I love the fact that I wasn't sure where it was going at times. There are a lot of predictable dramas out there where I usually figure out what is going to happen, but this drama kept me guessing. The characters have depth and helped drive the drama. it is rare for both the pace of a story and the characters to come together so well. The writer did a good job connecting the dots. I didn't feel like I was left wanting and the ending was well done. I like how the writer made the 1% seem like they are untouchable unless the 99% get together to stop them. I wish people didn't judge money as success. There are a lot of ways to be successful in life with out money. All of the actors are good. Of course, Rain as Kang Dong Soo, Lee Sun Bin as Yoo Shi Hyun and Lee Dong Gun as Kim Do Jin were daebak. But Lee Seung Joo stole the show as Yoo Si Joon. I was so into his character and what drove him. It is hard to write a lot with out giving a way spoilers.
The music is good. Especially what they used for suspense.
I will probably rewatch this at some point.
If you like gritty, suspense with a little supernatural thrown in, then you will like this. I recommend it highly.

Absolutely Amazing
The plot twist.... damn, it shook me up too hard. I never would have expected that. The entire drama kept me on my toes for every episode, it was hard for me to look away from the screen. The plot was amazing, to be honest when i saw the episode that revealed stuff my breath got stuck in my throat it was too unexpected. I found it beautifully portrayed and all the actors depicted their characters so well that it was hard to guess what the truth would have been. I specially loved the character of Yoo Si Joon, I have no words for the character, the bond between the siblings, the reliance upon each other and of course the unexpected part.Was this review helpful to you?
Hold up... this is a review about the drama series, my bad, oops. The screenwriter was on point with the storyline. The story kind of reminds me of a gang mentality of a systemic governmental power! In the gangs in the USA, they retaliate when a member gets shot... it's like a back n forth domino affect! It doesn't stop until they are all dead... so sad! I'm glad some of these stories are bringing awareness regarding Government Oppression that uses citizens to get what they want, not fair to citizens. The suspense is just too real onscreen and offscreen!
Lee Sun Bin showed herself to be what a woman supposed to be... Strong when she needs to be and can have emotions of a momentary weakness. Her persona has to have this in order for her to act as well as she did. I applaud her! The sketching was phenomenal, if only we could do that in the real world.
The other main cast, I would have to write a 5-page report with that said, I will just say, man, they were awesome! The story wouldn't be complete without them. Thank you to the rest of the team!

STORY: I had a big problem with the story and the route it took. It seemed very plausible until about the last 2 episodes and then a wrench was thrown into the plot (no spoilers) that really took it from realistic and plausible to I DOUBT THAT WOULD EVER HAPPEN...at least for me. After that wrench was revealed, it was hard for me to stay focused and stay with the story for the last episode or so. Don't get me wrong, the story had a ton of twists and I love that you couldn't predict a lot of it but that wrench just bugged me.
I also thing that the structure of the plot would have better suited the drama if it was more episodic, where a different crime happened every episode. Again started out that way (and I loved it when it was like that) but then everything AND I MEAN EVERYTHING ended up being connected which made the plot very complicated with lots of characters and names which I think made it very hard to follow.
ACTING/CAST: I thought the acting and cast was ok for this drama. Some actors stood out more to me than others. I thought the acting of the main two leads was good but the way their characters were written bugged me. I thought the main female character seemed very whiney and cried a lot and the Main male lead seemed either good with lots of emotion or very flat (I don't think this was the acting but more of how the characters were written in the script) My two favorite characters were the computer analyst and the brother prosecutor (I thought the actor who played the brother prosecutor was absolutely AMAZING in his acting ability...really stood out to me.
MUSIC: This was actually the first drama that I really noticed the music. I thought it was perfect for the drama and really fit what was going on in the drama. I even downloaded the entire OST because I loved it so much.
REWATCH: I will not be re-watching this drama...isn't worth it to me.
OVERALL: The drama definitely had a satisfying ending and wrapped up nicely but the middle part dragged a lot and ultimately it took until the last few episodes to get any real answers which made the ending very excited but also seemed rushed in parts. I really think the show would have been better if the show had taken more of a episodic route and less connected with everything. It had a unique concept but I think the writers didn't use it to its full potential. The show just didn't reach the level of what it could have been.

Sketch starts off with the normal good cop trying to save everyone with a fiancee who is kind of unlikable who happens to be a strict prosecutor. They're relationship was kind of awkward and there wasn't much chemistry but it was necessary for the story. Then we have another cop (Shi Hyun) who is working in another unit that is kind of not really accepted by the police force and they start their investigations on whatever she sketches due to her ability from her childhood.
Each case in Sketch is pretty much surrounding money, crime, killings that occur in the society. Some characters that were quite annoying from the being like Jang Tae Joon, I didn't understand why he was so involved in the killings besides the fact his sister ends up dying in an event. Some of the morals of the characters were quite messed up but it shows that were all not normal human beings.
The one character, I did feel bad about was Kim Do Jin, he was quite the loser from the start to the end of the show from his wife dying and him killing all these people under the command of Jang Tae Joon and Shi Hyun's brother.
I did feel that the character of Rain's from quite dumb because he kept on letting Kim Do Jin get away but if he was caught then there wouldn't be a story here.
I would totally watch season 2 if there will be one for the story and maybe Shi Hyun and Kang Dong Soo's relationship.
I would rewatch just to get a refresh of the story and recommend this show.

I feel the show was not that good that i had expected it to be... Starting was nice and i also liked the characters .Everyone had their own past ... I also loved how fl's brother says that she was the most important person to him but it was very upsetting how they ended his character by showing that he knew every thing that had happened...Also i also feel so angry when the ml even at the end never trusted the fl.... Thinking that he is always right ,he hides the last sketch ....atleast try to trust her for once ..... Personally i think ml just used the fl to get the sketch as without the sketches he couldn't have done anything.. Well i have revealed a lot of spoilers.... Staying true to my name :The Revealer?
U guys can give it a watch but keep in mind there's no Romance between the leads and chemistry was more like one sided efforts.The brother sister relationship was better though the director had to ruin it as well

pros:
1. Rain's acting is in a whole other level than the rest, he's one of the few who can really do anything
2. I never thought I would say this but those fighting scenes were bad ass! Very well choreographed and directed. I did not skipped one bit of it the entire series in which I usually do
3. Fantasy twist to a detective drama like this can bring a whole lot of freshness and excitement to what could be a boring and predictable drama (reminds me of SIGNAL, TUNNEL and DUEL)
4. I love the sound of her sketching, it's quite eargasmic
5. I liked that her sketching ability was utilized wisely all throughout without overdoing it
6. Usually it's the OST that always gets the credit but I have to say the music score in this drama is really good, it highlights the mood of the drama
7. I liked that the cases are easy to understand because most detective dramas like this tend to be overly complicated which makes it hard to follow
8. That plot twist really caught me off guard. I really didn't saw that coming at all.
cons:
1. I personally think 16 episodes were a bit too much, I think 12 episodes would've been enough
2. it started really really strong and I was worried that it just might fall flat at the end just like some dramas and it kinda did. There was so much fire from the beginning and at the end the flame kinda fizzled out a bit

I gonna give my reviview about the story, acting and music.Story: The plot is not typical and that is good however I think the drama is so confusing, maybe cuz there are many stories . And that is a little tiring.
Acting: Rain is a multitalented guy, I could feel his charater's pain. His action scenes were really good here. Along with Lee Sun Bin showed a really good chemistry.
Lee Doong Gun as always he was amazed. In this case as Kim Do Jin I can felt his revenge and his
ache. His action scenes were good too.
About Lee Seung Joo just can say that he was phenomenal, he did a really wondeful job in this drama, excellent acting.
Jung Jin Young, I think as actor must be dificult to confuse the audience and he did it with me. Also I can felt his character's sadness. He is a superd actor. Outstanding acting here.
The music was really good and fit well with this drama. Despite sometings I particularity enjoyed this drama so much.

what the fucking ending? ,they can complete it with a little more scene but they make it hangging and maybe is a begining of season 2 ,if they have a new season,they can just complete the story first and thinking for the next season, feel useless for watching this drama , the story is a little interesting ,but not very excited for me ,the plot and purpose is very clear when seen until the end, but they not have a end of the story,,if they end the drama like that even have season 2 i will not to watch it, i think i will forget all the story when waiting for the season 2 Was this review helpful to you?
Gk ada romance di lead cowo cewenya dan emang fokus utamanya di crime. Kalo untuk yang membuat sedih ada, jadi yg sering nangis siap" tisu aja krn adegannya cukup mengaharukan. Meskipun banyak bgt kasusnya ada beberapa eps yg cukup membuatku bosen, tp gk sampe yg ngebuat ak berhenti nonton kok. Untuk akting gk perlu diragukan lagi siii. Cuma ostnya aja gk terlalu nyantol di memori.

Interessante
Esse drama segurou minha atenção do início ao fim. Muito bem dirigido e com uma história super interessante cheias de reviravoltas,este show já nos primeiros episódios já começa interessante e consegue continuar assim até o final, sempre cheio de surpresas. As cenas de ação eram ótimas, bem coreografadas.A única certeza que você tem ao assistir esse drama é que não sabe de nada, tudo pode acontecer, o que você acha acaba não sendo exatamente nada daquilo, e acontece algo totalmente inesperado.
Gostei muito da atuação dos personagens todos serviram para algo , principalmente dos protagonistas, não tem romance, mas te garanto que nem faz falta, apesar de eu ter torcido um pouco para que tivesse kkk. Gostaria de ver mais protagonistas femininas como a deste show, corajosa, inteligente, bruta quando tem que ser e gentil quando acha necessário.
Em fim eu com certeza recomendo este drama para você.
