To start out, I wasn't too sure about season 2 after not being a big fan of the summer episodes (season 1). However, I gave this season a chance (after school ended, of course) and ended up falling in love with the show.
It's different than the first season in that the show feels so peaceful and warm in the midst of a cold Jeju winter. Not that the summer wasn't calm, but this season just felt more welcoming, peaceful, and joyful with all the guests that entered the house.
I felt so much joy seeing new guests come into the homestay and felt as if I were one of the workers welcoming the guests to my house. (I even teared up when the guests would leave????)
The workers made me feel at home and even made a huge impact on my life. It's crazy that a show could lift my life but I hope it could leave as much of an impact on you as it did me??
10/10 must watch!! And tell me what you thought about it!

One of the most relaxing shows I've ever watched!
I was drawn to watch this show as a fan of Park Bo-gum but ended up falling in love with it as a whole because of the relaxing and healing vibe. I started watching during the winter months here in the US, and this show literally felt like a warm hug. I always felt so cozy and warm inside watching the show, as I suspected Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon's home felt. The views of the scenery of Jeju were breathtakingly gorgeous and healing as well. Before this show, I didn't know anything about Lee Hyori or Lee Sang-soon. However, after I watched, I had so much respect for them opening their home and taking care of their guests so well. I especially loved watching Im Yoona and Park Bo-gum be so willing to assist and serve the guests. I really enjoyed watching celebrities be so loving and caring to want to put the enjoyment of the guests before their own enjoyment. It's such a marked difference from what we see here with celebs in the States.
I rated the music a bit lower because I have seen clips online that feature the actual music that was selected for and played by the cast for the show. I know it was different from what we heard while watching it on Netflix. I thought it was a huge shame that we missed out on Bo-gum and Hyori singing. I suspect it was due to licensing issues, but it would have been nice to see it in the States. I have since downloaded the original version of songs sung by Hyori and Bo-gum.
Even still, I rewatched the show 3 times from start to finish before Netflix pulled it. It was my go-to when I needed to relax, when I needed to clean my home, or when I needed to cook. It was such a nice show to do chores to because they cleaned up so often, so it kind of made you think you were a part of the show when you cleaned up as well.
