I have no words on how much I truly enjoyed this drama. I have been meaning to watch this upon seeing the trailer, mostly because I have been a fan of Leon Zhang since V Love days and this will be the first drama I'll be watching with him as the main lead. He already had a few dramas with him as the main but sadly those are not subbed at all. Hence I thought this wont be subbed either and temporarily put it on the side. Thankfully though, it got completely subbed and I ended up binge watching this in two days lol. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts and is definitely the main reason on why this drama quickly became one of my favourite cdramas this year. Their interactions and conversations are realistically convincing and amusing that I just want to squeal every time I see them on screen together. Their continuous bickering is just too funny to watch. And even though they did not become a couple till later in the drama, I still enjoyed watching their banters and flirty acts lol. No offence but Leon and Eleanor have done their roles so well that I don't think anyone could have pulled it off the same way.
The story is simple and does not have a lot of angst. I found the ocean research stuff interesting, as well as the Poseidon and Amphitrite backstory. Although I may get how not a lot of people will be interested with this and might find it boring (y'all can get away with skipping those parts tho lol). It did drag a bit in the middle, but I would say still manageable because of the two leads. The chemistry is truly the driving force of this drama I must say.
I loveeee the character of Ye Hai so much - how he's goofy most of the time but could also be serious and responsible when it needs to be. Although An Fei did not like him at first, he tried really hard and continued to show how much he likes her despite her indifference towards him. Ugh Ye Hai is just a boyfriend material alright?? I also like how they justified the actions of the characters - how they aren't really evil without a reason and how most of them changed towards the good in the end. I truly appreciate the writers for that.
The ending is a bit lacking but atleast it's a happy ending. As an avid fan of cdramas, I'm already thankful that the two leads ended up together in the end cos I honestly don't know what to do if they didn't T___T
Overall, I enjoyed this drama so much and would totally recommend it.

I've been watching quite a lot of Drama's and so far I really liked My Poseidon. I've finished it for a long time and till this day I still watch it. The story line isn't the typical story line. This was also one of the first Drama's I've watched that included Greek Mythology. This is also the second time I watch Eleanor Lee. Her acting is okay but could use some work but the Character An Fei could've been improved. This is the first time I've watched Leon Zhang and I actually really liked his acting and his portrayal of Ye Hai. The chemistry between the two is really good but I've seen Eleanor have more Chemistry with other actors.
For me the music of a drama is very important since I love music. And the music did not disappoint me, both Eleanor and Leon have really good voices. Not only that but even if I couldn't understand the language, I really understood the feeling and everything else.
I would totally rewatch it and watch it again and again but there are still other drama's to watch so I would rather watch a new one than My Poseidon. Watching it once is good but personally I only watch the ending again and again because I always cry whenever I watch it.

All I have to say is that AHHHHH they are just so CUTE!!! This drama combines two of my favorite things: Greek mythology (which is a first in a Chinese drama so I thought that was pretty cool) and the Ocean (I just love standing up the ocean and feeling the breeze, it feels like I can clear my mind with the wind).
I just love Ye Hai and An Fei's chemistry. They started out as your typical bickering, hate turns to love kind of couple, but their interaction is hilarious! They don't really argue, they straight up troll each other! Both of them are trying to outdo the other with witty comments or jealousy, it is just too funny!!!
I came to watch My Poseidon after watching Leon Zhang for the first time in My Roommate is a Detective. I wanted to see Leon in as a main lead and it was such a refreshing transition. It was fun watching him act so straight up flirtatious which I only saw little glimpses of it when he was in My Roommate is a Detective.
I really love it when the cast takes part of the OST and sings the songs. Leon and Eleanor did a great job on their duet! All the songs are great but my favorite is Lost Lover by Lex. I'm a big fan of songs that involve lyrics about nature and I can hear Poseidon's longing for his wife.
This was the first drama I saw Eleanor act in and she did a great job!!!!

Such a Nice Drama. I have truly enjoyed this drama. I watch this upon seeing the trailer, mostly because I have been a fan of Leon Zhang and I have been keep watching him as the main lead and a few of his other dramas too. This drama is so romantic .A story revolving around a sunny youth and a marine biology student as they work together to protect the ocean.
An Fei is a scholar who harbors a crush on a young and accomplished scientist named Mo Liang. She dreams of becoming a top researcher in the country in order to protect the ocean. One day, she encounters Ye Hai, a young man who seems to bring her bad luck. Ye Hai not only opposed the project that An Fei has been working on but he also makes up stories about her by claiming that she's his wife. Finding Ye Hai arrogant and weird, An Fei tries to avoid him at all costs until she realizes that he may have been right along. As she gets to know him, memories of a past relationship begin to surface just like the legendary story of Poseidon and Amphitrite.

Can someone please help me to find English subtitles for the 6 special episodes. Please help.I really love this drama and I am waiting to know what the special episodes contain but cannot understand the language. Can someone please help me to find them. Please reply. I am waiting to finish this drama. It is a must watch watch drama. The chemistry between the main leads is amazing. I hope there can be a season 2. Not only the main leads but there best friends are also very cute couple and I love the fact that all the characters were justified in the end. It is the best thing for a drama but I think if the clips in the special episodes would be kept at their places in the episodes it would have been better. I would be very happy to see them in the between of the episodes not like special episodes

Leads were ACES!
It was hard to keep up with the story because the subtitles aren't that great. With that being said, the story isn't all that good...but THE LEADS ARE! My GOD, I was hypnotized by them (after the first episode). They are the reason I watched every episode the chemistry was there along with trust and their acting had very similar charm. Also, ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ their kisses get cut off .5secs into lips touching. I don't understand why, I don't like it, I needed more...so much more. Lastly, the ending? What the fuck was that???? I would not recommend it to anyone but I would rewatch certain scenes in this show a thousand times over.Was this review helpful to you?
Not what I was expecting but it was okay. I honestly thought that I was going to see some controlling of the waters and powers shown but that really wasn’t portrayed her. I believe that it was truly a missed moment. In truth I was really expecting some sort of fantasy, action but Nope.
It was somewhat dragged out and uneventful. There was parts near the end that were unexplained and it had that famous, we met again ending.

It's a great drama but one thing making it boring is that there few scenes where the Male lead and female lead are together. Instead the female lead most of the times with the second lead character. Even in situations when it's the male lead supposed to comfort her.. instead it's the second lead.. this makes it boring for some of us whose focus in a drama is ever on the lead characters. That's the problem I noticed with it. And the other thing is that one episode ends with a different scene then the next one begins with another scene. This confuses us the viewers. It makes the story line irregular. And then also flash backs that are not shown in the drama. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama is an absolute 100 to me. I have always love zhang Yunlong's drama. But actually, in this drama, I don’t really get the ending and what happens to Poseidon after that. And I feel like they should put more drama about Poseidon and end it once for all. But I like how he acted in this drama, he’s so goofy and cool at the same time. And anfei, she’s also so cute and funny, she always denied about her feelings for yehai and that's cute. And I also like how their love-hate relationship. They are just so cute. I would really recommend this drama, cause not only the story is so cool but also some funny part in the movie, like ye hai and Poseidon’s part. Also, there are a few pirate scenes and I like it. Cause you know, we need a lot of drama😂. and I also like yetian and huayin meimei part, they’re so cute and I also remember the part when huayin meimei went to yehai and anfei’s house and she brings a lot of food for the auntie. They look at each other I literal jealousy🤣.
You guys should go and watch the drama right now or you guys will regret🤣.

It's my No.1 fav drama ever and forever
The acting skills of main leads.....and the story line..... It's just the best drama I've ever watched..... Even the 10 out of 10 is less to rate it...... As a fan of this drama I became a lover of dolphins as I like Eleanor Lee so much and her role Anfei and Ampetrite(queen of dolphins)......I wish I could see the Dolphinus star with my naked eyes one day......
And the poseidon temple,I just want visit and see the place where they walked......
I've became a lot crazy about dolphins since I watched it.....
The people who've known me from childhood are very surprised about how I've become this much crazy over dolphins.......
I honestly recommend this drama to every one who asks me about dramas....

This drama reminded me of my son’s essays where the intro and middle part is strong and well thought out but then he gets lazy and tired and the conclusion is a bust!! I think I know what happened in the last episode, but I’m not totally sure. It’s not the worse ending (I guess it was happy), but with 34 episodes to work with, the writers could have done a much better job explaining and building up to the end.The ML has become one of my favorite actors and is so charming and charismatic (that smile!!)... I pretty much watched for him! I liked the FL and they had good chemistry ... but it did feel like their romance was set aside for many parts of the drama. They were both so independent and busy that they always seemed to miss each other. Overall, I did enjoy this drama a lot more than I thought I would. There were loopholes and unanswered questions but if you can let go of those, it’s a fun watch.
On a side note, I thought the drama spent too much time speaking English. A phrase here and there is fine, but with any language... it’s not just the words you’re speaking... the nuances and manner in which you convey the message speaks volumes. The actors did a better job than most in speaking English... but those scenes missed the mark in terms of delivery and emotion.

So slow
I will make this quick. Male lead is absolutely adorable. The female lead is somewhat cute but her character is a miserable human being who thinks only of herself. She made me want to punch her. Do not waste your time on this one. It had potential but went down the tubes in typical cdrama fashion with really bad writing and character development. The chinese writers seem to have a really hard time understanding the difference between a strong but kind female lead and a selfish b...! She was just so incredibly selfish and stupid that the female lead ruined the whole drama for me. Do not waste your time.P.S. I went back to watch the last episode. Made me dislike the show even more. So damn stupid.
