It's been a long while, since I watched kiss me again, and I remember watching the bl part and the non bl part.

Now for the non bl relationship, most was toxic, like for one of the couples, the girl caused the project to almost go to dust because of nothing but jealousy.

The saving aspect for this drama, is Petekao (the chemistry that Taynew have, doesn't seem force, you can watch the behind the scene)

Especially the kiss scene, (there was no awkward feeling, it was just so natural) keeping in mind it's been a while since I have watched it.

I remember Pete's girlfriend being annoying, whoever didn't want her, she would move to the next person, she was practically jumping between Pete and Kao.

One of the only girls that I like in the series, is "Sandee" played by "Mild" I really like her tomboyish aspect; and her practically being a mother to their gang.

Yes! Another thing that I liked, was their gang, and how Sandee was like a mother to the others, and a love coach to Petekao.

Although some people complained about the music being too long; I think that, YES it was long, but it's the same music that I am addicted to today (meaning I like it).

I still sing the OST in broken Thai once in a while, in terms of acting, I think everyone gave their best,

For the storyline, it's nothing you've not seen before, ex girlfriend troubles, womaniser meets shy girl, two boys hate each other or one has a crush on the other but doesn't say, but overall I would rewatch it in a heartbeat.

Cause I love the show for what it is, and I have rewatched it like six times already, so if your thinking of watching YOU SHOULD, even though it's just the boys boys love part.

A lot of characters not a lot of variety

Since the synopsis mentions that this series' events take place before Kiss:The Series, I decided to watch this one first. This is about the lovestories/first loves of 5 sisters and their love interests. This series focuses on 3 of the sisters, SanWan, SanSuey and SanSon. We see the other two mainly when they discuss their siblings or interacting with their friends. Their stories do not differ from each other very much. They have a boy they like, but they don't know if he likes them back and they discover if they do through various problems, among which of course a rival. We also see a BL couple PeteKao, who are friends with one of the older sisters, SanDee. They encounter much of the same issues, and they hit each other just as much as they kiss. which provides some surprising interactions.

What I liked: Petes Father is by far the best thing in this series. We do not come across a lot of parents who are this supportive in BL-stories. (Most of) the actors. Some are really good (June, Mork, Pete, Kao, SanWan) Some are mediocre but none were really bad. The atmosphere. The series has a relaxed and mellow atmosphere. It gave me a great vibe.

What I didn't like: Very little excitement. The stories move at an equally mellow pace, which is good for some stories in a series, but please not all of them! Even the parts where the love rivals show up are slow and flat. No fire in the kiss scenes. Speaking of kiss scenes, the only kisses we can get an actual view of are the BL couples kisses. Almost all others are feather kisses or completely blocked from view. We'll just have to accept the kiss was real I guess.

Although there was not a lot of passion, It was never really boring. It kept me just engaged enough to finish it with a good feeling.

don't bother - just go watch the Pete/Kao cut

This was just....awful.

There's no other words for it. It was boring, slow and painful to watch. Most of the characters were horrible and unlikeable, the plot was ridiculous (more ridiculous than usual) and the acting was truly dreadful in places.

Also sadly, the Pete/Kao cut of this, which was officially created by GMMTV and posted on their YouTube channel, did not exist when I watched this, so I had to suffer through all 14 episodes to watch Tay and New.

The story revolves around the lives of five sisters: Sanwan, Sanson, Sansuay, Sandee and Sanrak, and their daily lives. It's definitely more soap opera than drama. The oldest sister, Sansuay, owns a clothing store and lives above it with her sisters.

THE BAD: oh, there's so much bad. Starting with just the show itself, the opening credits run for 5 minutes. No, that's not an exaggeration - I timed them.

Then there's the characters. Most of them are terrible.

Sanson is paid by Matt's mother to find out if he's gay (because he spends so much time with his best friend Pat) or not, and the way she goes about it is just awful. One of them is to hire escorts to grope him at a karaoke club. She butts into his private life in ways she has no business doing and not only does he forgive her he starts dating her. Pat is actually gay and has a small crush on his best mate and Sanson treats him terribly for it.

Sanwan is being setup for a relationship by her mother as the 'girl who is the best match for you' in cahoots with the prospective boyfriend/groom's father. The young man in question, only identified by the initial 'R', is supposedly a doctor, but he never seems to do any doctor-ing. He's also arrogant, rude, cruel and a bully. He tries to sexually assault Sanwan in the second episode, ffs.

And his girlfriend of the moment, Sinee, is jealous and possessive and can't let go of the idea that Sanwan wants her man, even though she rejects him soundly and decisively and wants nothing to do with him. Sinee even sets Sanwan up to be raped, which is just....I have no words for how disgusting that is and how reprehensible of a character she is.

Sandee is still the only sensible one out of the gang, and we all stan June.

The main BL pairing in this, as mentioned above, is Pete/Kao. I'm not a fan of the 'accidental kiss' and it wasn't done very well here (Saifah/Zon's in WRU was better) but these two have chemistry leaking out of their pores. So much more more than So and Sansuay.

We also get hints of Sun/Mork, although their relationship is developed more in 'Dark Blue Kiss.'

The BL plot is fairly standard, which means its the only one that really makes sense in terms of character development and plot beats. It's the saving grace of this series.

And Pete's dad is the best Dad in Thai BL I've ever seen.

On the whole, I would highly recommend you watch the Pete/Kao and avoid the rest of this dumpster fire. It wasn't worth my time, and it's not worth yours.

Enjoyable, sweet romance

I would say I postponed watching this series after I read the reviews. Bad idea. I love it. The love stories of the actors/actresses were all captured. We even saw the beginning of Sun and Mork and it looks like Pat is on to a good start as well.
The chemistry between Kao and Pete is really great. How they moved on from hating each other to love flows smoothly, and Pete's jealousy...well portrayed.
My favorite actress here is Sanson. She comes off as a strong woman, willing to take chances and not giving a damn to what people think of her.
I'd watch it again, but only Pete and Kao's scenes. They're more enjoyable.
How did I forget about June...he's funny.
Now moving on to Dark Blue Kiss!

There's something decent hidden amongst the clutter

Kiss Me Again is... decent. There are some moments/episodes/plots that I really enjoyed and others that I found objectively bad or problematic. In my opinion, KMA suffers most from its bloated cast and uneven pacing. For a show with 4 main couples, I don't think that every single pairing should have been involved in a love triangle or square. There were many times while watching when a supporting character would appear and I would completely forget what involvement they had in their respective storyline.

None of the hetero pairings felt like an epic romance to me. Thinking back on how flawed Kiss the Series was, the one thing they did right was Sandee and Thada's relationship. As nonsensical as the drama dragged, their relationship felt epic. Kiss Me Again is all the drama with none of the epic. Except for Pete and Kao.

Not only do Pete and Kao work well as romantic interests in this series but their storyline feels the most environmental. Pete/Kao and their friendship with Sandee, Thada, June is extremely enjoyable. The absence of the complete gang in the 2nd half of the show was felt. I even liked Mint's character development throughout the show. It's unfortunate that her story didn't continue in Dark Blue Kiss.

There are very many terrible production choices. From editing, to framing, to sound mixing. At the beginning of ep 14 (which I began immediately after finishing ep 13) when So runs to Sanson in the hospital, showing concern for Sansuay, I had initially thought I accidentally skipped an episode. I had completely forgot that Sansuay got into a car accident in the previous episode because 1) it ended with a cute/sweet PeteKao phone call and 2) the execution of the accident was unconvincing. It looked like a tiny bender fender; nothing worth an overnight stay in the hospital. But, I'll admit, Sansuay's car accident was more convincing than a couple of fake kisses. Mint "kissing" Kao was painful to watch, as was Sanson and Matt's first "kiss".

Even when the kisses actually happen, they can be slighted by poor editing. For example; the PeteKao kiss in the pool. Kao goes in for a kiss while Pete is dripping wet. Pete's hair is wet and stuck to his forehead but as the angle changes to a wide shot, he's suddenly damp and his hair is no longer sticking to his face. Great scene but not-so-great editing and continuity.

Sanwan/R was a very problematic storyline for so many reasons. For one, R was a pushy person. And I hate that he made so many comments that she looks better without glasses, which isn't even true. She literally looks the same. It's annoying and rude. Don't even get me started on when Sanwan was almost raped. It ended with R getting stabbed and hospitalized and the perpetrator didn't go to jail or anything. He just apologized a couple episodes later and walked away. Like wtf?! I'm not sure how things work in Thailand but in America, when a person is hospitalized with a stab wound, a police report is filed by requirement.

Sanson/Matt was equally as problematic. While they did have pretty good chemistry, I just never understood why Matt liked Sanson. It was very crappy of her to try and out him to his mom. But, I appreciate the bisexual love triangle-ness. There was never really any confirmation on Matt's sexuality but I'd like to believe he's bisexual. It makes me appreciate their storyline a little more.

Sansuay/So had "epic romance" potential but there was some episodes that missed them completely and for most of the first half, they were stagnant. But despite that, the Sanson/So kiss reveal was still very shocking to me. I honestly don't have much negative to say about this pairing or storyline. I mean, I could have done without the love triangle (which had a very anti-climatic ending) but it wasn't as prominent in this storyline as it was in all the other ones. And I think it would have worked better if they got together much sooner while Sansuay dealt with a more personal conflict. It sucks that, at the core of every storyline is only the pairing that comes from it. The only characters that I felt had any personal growth was Mint and Pete (even though Pete's development is retconned in DBK).

Overall, it's neither the best nor the worst. I didn't fully dislike any storyline but moreso disliked certain aspects or developments within the storylines.

Story:
I am currently on Episode 8. It's kind of hard to watch every episode continuously because of how uninteresting the series is. There's way too much couples to focus on, and only two are worth watching (Sanwan's and KaoPete). I was seriously contemplating if I would just skip on the other 2 (especially Sanson's, like WTF even is this shit?). Sanson is extremely unlikable, and she's doing this "investigation" for the sake of getting a car. Like who wrote that? I hated her character so much that I just found myself rooting for Pat instead. Sansuay's not that bad, but hers wasn't that good either. I literally can't say anything about her story because it is that uninteresting.

Honestly I was extremely excited for this series when it first aired. I loved the Kiss the Series. That one only had 3 couples (KaoPete was put on the background). I was hoping to see more of Sanrak and Sandee, but no! They're the supporting characters this time. What I hate about Sanwan's storyline is that it's too predictable. It's funny tho, maybe a little. KaoPete is where the series rise. But I kind of hate how Pete's character is too much of an asshole, and knowing Tay's real-life personality, it does feel like it's a bit contrived. I looove their sweet moments, but when you take that out of the equation, their backstory's are kind of boring as well.

I am extremely disappointed with this series, especially with the hype that it got. I'm just going to force myself to watch the 6 remaining episodes cuz I always finish all the series that I watch.

Acting:
Meh. I think despite "good" acting, the series still suffers because of bad writing.

Music:
The background music is too repetitive and most of the time, too loud.

Rewatch Value:
I don't think I'll rewatch this series, except for an occasional searching of some KaoPete scenes.

Overall:
DISAPPOINTING.

STORY:
The series has a lot of potential, but it was destroyed by having too much couple in the series. The series have 4 couples and they tried to fit all their story to 14 episodes. And the result, you can sometimes see that there are rambling with the story since they change the story from one couple to another from time to time. Also, you lose the hype of what's going to happen next since they change immediately. Lastly, since they fit a 4 coupled story in just 14 EPISODES, you will notice that before the end of the series, they fastened the story of each couples, just to resolve their problems.

So here is my reviews:

- Pete/Kao couple, is one of the best asset of this show. Their story is worth watching, and the chemistry is very good. Although sometimes the actor of Pete (Tay) has an awkwardness in their acting.

-The actress of Mint doesn't act well (sorry). When she is talking or trying to make some facial gestures, it's exxagerated and unreal. Also, when she is listening to someone talking, she doesn't have the right reaction and it looks like she's waiting that person to finish so she can throw her lines.

- The other actors/actresses is also good, since you can already see them in other series/films.

MUSIC:
The ost and its remixes is good and pleasant to the ears. TBH, the ost gave me a "LAST SONG SYNDROME" and I've been playing it repeatedly everyday. Lol. But, what I just hate is that the opening part (where the main OST is being played) consumes almost 2 minutes of each episodes.

REWATCH VALUE:
I wil just watch the Pete/Kao part, but not the other couples.

I gave the story a pretty low review, but I enjoyed watching this show. My main gripe was with the non-BL relationships as all but one of the other relationships was uncomfortable and borderline abusive/unhealthy.

Pete/Kao
Enemies to friends to lovers is a cliché but classic storyline and one that I personally enjoy. It really helps the story that New and Tay, pete and kao’s actors, are good friends as they are able to bring a new level of closeness to the couple that you don’t often see. It’s really fun to watch them and try to notice the moments were they stop acting and are just enjoying spending time together. I also like how this couple goes about being gay. They don’t talk about it as much here as they do in the sequel, Dark Blue Kiss, but this couple is the first that I have seen to talk about it in a way that isn’t condescending or fetishing. They take time to talk about their sexualities are have a healthy relationship with their parents.

I honestly feel the urge to write a review because this is one of my favourite Dramas I've seen so far this year. To be honest, if you ask me, what made me watch it was because of New, the actor of Kao. I've watched some of his Dramas before and knowing the fact that for this particular drama, his love interest was a male hence so I decided to stay and give it a go.

What I like about this series was that it showcases multiple couples each with their own unique storyline. If it weren't like this and the each of the couples have their own separate Dramas, showcasing the same storyline as it was in the series, I imagine it would certainly be just as good. (Besides, I quite like a Drama that only centres around Pete and Kao's relationship lol, why not).

Since the series focuses mainly on 4 different couples, it is quite difficult to fit them all in a short amount of only 14 episodes. Because of that, sometimes I felt like the story doesn't flow as I would have liked because each episode goes to one couple and then the next second, goes to a different one, but this time with a completely different scenario and storyline. Since the series only has 14 episodes, I do feel like it was rushed especially on the last few episodes as if they are rushing it so that that couples would resolve their conflicts and have a happy ending before the series ends. As oppose to the sequel Kiss the Series, it had a lot more of a development since it only had 2 couples and more episodes as well. I would have liked if they explored the couples a bit more but because of the limited time and screentime, wasn't able to portray that enough. However despite that, in terms of the story, I do think it is nothing special. I do like that each of the couples are connected in a way though - I found that very clever especially when the female characters in the couples are sisters and live in the same house. And then one is connected to Pete and Kao. I found these little connections to be interesting and I quite like that.

In terms of the cast, I have found many familiar faces hence so I was quite ecstatic to see them act in a series together again. I adore them and my lord, the couples are just full on adorable especially Pete/Kao and Sanwan/R. The acting for me was impeccable in some scenes but however some weren't as well. It was quite inconsistent, but overall I was quite impressed on the acting especially those kiss scenes Pete and Kao ~ Furthermore, I'm not really fussy over the Music, to be honest, I quite like it actually. True, some are repetitive as shit to the point it gets annoying when played again not to mention the opening and ending takes so much of the time in each episode as well, however despite that, I do like the Ost and I think they are very appealing to listen to.

Overall, I quite enjoyed the series. Seeing as I watched it when it was airing and had to wait episodes for each week, I'm surprised that I never lost interest and was kept motivated to wait the whole way through. Goes to say, it's worth the watch for me and I definitely didn't regret it. Absolutely one of my faves. I will definitely miss the series especially Pete and Kao <33 Someday I hope #TayNew will get their own series as the main couple lol.

Prequel to Kiss: The Series. It focused on Sandee’s other sisters and Pete and Kao, how they became a couple. I was so happy to see their story and the angst between them was so delicious because it took Pete some time to come around and stop being an ass. But once he did and his goal was set - to convince Kao to become his boyfriend - off he went and no hurdle was too hard for him to cross. It was funny.

This story also introduced Mork and Sun, the main couple of Dark Blue Kiss. It was sure interesting to see how their relationship began.

Once again, I mainly watched PeteKao and MorkSun. But also one of Sandee’s older sisters, Sansuay, and her ex So - because he was played by Earth Pirapat and I’ll watch pretty much anything for Earth Pirapat. So there’s that. Everything else I just clicked through again.

Also, the music was downright horrendous. Seriously, pox on the one who chose it. And the product placements got on my last nerve. Yeesh!

My score of 8 applies to the whole Kiss Me Again series, including the Pete and Kao scenes. The problem I had with Kiss Me Again is that they mixed Pete and Kao with all the other couples, when in reality they can just focus on Pete and Kao as of all the other couples, they had the best scenes and most interesting story. I love the fact that they're going to do a stand alone BL series just for Pete and Kao because I feel that their story was not fully explored, and mixing the stories from the other couples is kinda confusing to be honest. Newwie and Tay has perfect chemistry. They both look cute together, and both of them can really act. Earth is also in this series but he's not paired up with Newwie. I guess, I'm not yet ready to let go of Earth and Newwie love team from Waterboyy. I do have to add that I think the hair style of Earth in this series really looks cute on him. He looks so much younger and so much cuter. There's a lot of scenes from the other couples where the acting is very stiff and there's a lot of pauses in the script. I think the story line needs to be completely polished. I do like the suspenseful music background, I think it's cute and I think it helps by covering the weak acting coming from couple of actors. All in all, I only give this series an 8. Maybe with more polished dialogues and more interesting scenes, I will give the series a much more higher score. I will end this review by saying, basically all they need to have an amazing series for Kiss Me Again is to remove all the other actors and just retain New, Tay and Earth, work the story lines among these three talented actors. And they'll end up with a powerful BL that I think will enjoy the same success as Sotus, a BL that they can take internationally in terms of Fan Meeting power.

I agree with other reviews, shoving four different stories in one series is just too much to digest. You can't help but get excited with one couple and get bored with the others. I seriously started skipping all stories and just focused on the one with BL story. I mean, among the four couples their storyline is way more interesting. Their acting is believable. The supporting actors in their scenes are really good too. I just wish they narrow the storyline down to atleast 2 and then mqke the story somehow connected. I felt like watching four different series at the same time and it gives me headache.

Overall, Kiss Me Again is a happy-pill series. You can binge watch if you may.
