TONI STOLE MY HEART

This is a telenovela for mature audiences.

Right off the bat, I immediately loved the fast pacing and the backstory. In all four episodes you wont feel like shortcuts are taken and that they really gave a lot of thought into developing the total flow of the series and divided ithem perfectly nto these episodes.

The story is somewhat of a mixed bag for me, not because it doesnt happen in real life but because it is too melodramatic. This is the only short series that I couldnt watch in one seating. Each episode is a little bit too long it felt like i needed to take a bit of rest after each episode.

The cast is amazing, phenomenal even. Toni and Tao were just perfect for the roles - cute, masculine and both were just gorgeous. Special shoutout to the locker room scene when Toni slid into his undies - this man is just BEAUTIFUL. Even Bebe gave a good performance.

I want to give credit to the production design team for creating the spaces that doesnt look temporarily made for 4 episodes. The wedding and the housewarming are both believeable.

Overall this short series deserves an 8. Attention all other tv content creators - this is how you do a short series.

This was a drama I wasn't expecting to like too much because of who I saw cast as one of the main characters...Tao. I have seen him in previous dramas and I felt like as a supporting cast character he is great but as a main I felt like he was too weak to carry the weight himself. This drama however changed my opinion on him. I felt like this role fitted him really well. He played the jerky best friend to a T and I forgot whom he was and only saw him as Tod. The chemistry between both male actors was so strong and natural. There was never a moment where I felt it was off. The story is one that I have seen before but the ending however was different. At first I thought there was another episode I needed to see and when I found out there wasn't I started to think the ending was trash but in actuality the ending was perfect with title and realistic. It left me brokenhearted a little but then I just felt almost relieved. I don't know how to explain without spoiling the ending.

Meng was a bit frustrating for me because he couldn't figure out what he wanted. He couldn't figure out if he was gay or straight and he never really tried to give himself time to or anything. He purely acted off his feelings and just...I don't spoil but some of the stuff he does was stupid but I could see someone acting like this. Tod also was frustrating for me because he is childish. Their personalities are complete opposite then throw in a possessive girlfriend and it's just a huge mess...but so entertaining. I think I hated all 3 of them at one point but loved them later on.

The message I pretty much got from this drama is that 'If you don't decide on who is most important in your life and then hold on to that (person or persons) then life itself will force you to come to a conclusion you might not like the results you get. So don't fool around too long. ' That's pretty much what I got and I think this is very important for me to remember this in my own life.

Anyways I recommend this to anyone because it has all the things you could want in a drama: romance, fighting, confusion. friendship, growing up, making tough decisions , scandalous situations and comedy. And it's short too and easy to watch again if you like it enough too. I give this an 8. The reason it doesn't get a 10 for me is because I felt like there was something missing. I am not quite sure what it is yet but I feel like a scene may have been edited out that would have helped with the last episode from feeling a little lacking and would have made the ending stronger.

Out of the Club Friday Stories that I've watched with a gay theme, this is easily my favorite out of them all. I almost did not watch this drama
because Tao who plays Todd, annoys me with his pencil thin excuse of a mustache (I'm quirky like that). But after watching a few episodes I got used to it, (I just used one eye to look at him). And Toni who plays Meng is a hot tamale and his chemistry with Tao/Todd is sizzling hot.

Speaking of which, I have to give both of these actors credit, as Tao managed to make me want to punch him in the face because of his childish antics. He played the role of a free-spirited rambunctious guy who does nothing but cause trouble for Meng. But when push comes to shove, Tao as Todd delivers and becomes the responsible adult that sometimes Nuch wished he was. Toni was also believable as the conflicted Meng, who believes he is doing everyone a favor by being nice. On one hand, Meng tries to cater to his girlfriend's unreasonable whims, and yet on the other, he tries to keep his best friend Tod close to his hip whenever Nuch is not watching. Nuch, meanwhile, is really annoying as the bitchy and jealous girlfriend who does not seem to think about other people except herself. I was so annoyed that I wanted to boot her to the curb faster than you can say "sayonara."

The story is interesting as it took me through a journey where I also felt confused about the actions that Meng took, because it seemed to me he was the center of the drama, and also the center of the problem as he could not seem to make up his mind about what he wanted. It looks to me that he wanted his cake and eat it too, but we all know that couldn't happen. The story however left me hanging and felt that it was not resolved either way, but maybe it is a good thing and this is one of those dramas that I am OK with an ending that is up to interpretation.

First
let me just clarify
that i will never rewatch this....
ever....
it's so heart breaking when you're watching and half screaming your head off that the main characater is obviously more in love with his friend than the actual girlfriend but then he doesn't realise it until it's too late and then you end uproduct crying mainly because it was mutual love realised just too late. I hated the ending. I still can't accept it. It hurts more that the feelings were actually mutual and not one sided or anything...but they still aren't tone there at the end.

The music wasn't very noticeable to me but I absolutely loved the cast.

Great BL. The story is interesting and realistic. The two guys, Men and Todd, really love each other, and they have a hot chemistry. The situation Meng goes through is common among bisexual guys. Confusion is part of a bisexual man or woman. He feels confused, but his main mistake is to taking decisions in moments of confusion. I definitely recommend this series.
The acting is good. The actors are convincing and portray emotions with realism.
The music is nice, and it fits the story.
This can be considered a real BL. It is much more than a bromance. It is a story of two men who love each other, not only physically but also emotionally, and because of that they cannot be happy living apart.
I will probably rewatched it. I hope there should be another season to enfold what will happen with the three main characters.

Young men who are not yet fully out and those that are, who love them, will identify with the challenges faced by the main characters Meng and Todd in this series, whose passionate love for each other surfaces and resurfaces through high school, college, and beyond. Toni (Meng) and Tao (Todd) give outstanding performances in this series and really make you emotionally invested in their relationship, its challenges, each character’s personal struggles and needs, and the many uncertainties that these two young men face, together and apart. You will be moved by the psychological tension between these two characters, the underlying sexual tension, and changes both characters undergo as they refine their understandings of each other, themselves, and the significance of their relationship and love for each other. Bebe (Nuch) also gives an outstanding performance in her role as Meng’s first girlfriend turned wife, especially in the final episode when she speeds home by cab to confront her husband.

No teenage boys with lids up to their eyes or yaoi flip flops screaming in admiration. This is a short series for adults, from life, and it is well done, at least for me. Bisexuality, bisexual behavior and related problems. I really, really liked the series because it touches so many of us. Specifically me for sure. Excellent acting, especially Tod played it so convincingly, I believed every word he said and his character clearly proved that not all gays, bisexuals, have to be outright twisted or immediately recognizable. The other two characters also played it flawlessly. How 35-year-old Tony at the time (he played the character of Meng) and I was amazed how great he looked in the first part in the "studio" days, you don't know at all that he is already "so" old and the corpse Nuch, played excellently by Thai Bebe, is also no more sapling, and in some scenes it not only cut her off immensely (see e.g. the wedding and others). The director is really a fighter, everything we have from him here at gaytitulky.info is highly rated (Club Friday 5, Club Friday 12, Tonhon Chonlatee)

Žádní náctiletí kloučci s poklicemi afin až do očí či obdivem ječící yaoi žabky. Toto je krátký seriál pro dospěláky, ze života a je skvěle udělaný, alespoň pro mě. Bisexualita, bisexuální chování a problémy s tím spojené. I další dvě postavy to zahrály bezvadně.

I watched this BL Lakorn series because P'Tao was here... and he is really a good actor, and also P'Toni. I'm expecting a good ending but it gives me questioned about what happen to Tod in the last series after, as Tao lead it. Is there any possible that Tod come again to Toni? I hope this series have a continuation about what happen to the leading characters. Who will Meng choose in the end? Nuch or... Tod?

Aside from this, Sattapong Phiangpor is NEW from me because of "Princess Hours" that was aired here in the Philippines translated into Tagalog Language. But when I saw this series, I was shocked because Tao intended to kiss with men (to think that Thai people are OK with that because in the Philippines, BL series are more less.)

I'm sick and tired of most Asian LGBT series or movie ending like sh*t.
First, there is not such thing as liking someone that identifies with your same sex and not being gay.
Second, most certainly not every gay has a girlfriend/boyfriend, and most definitely not every one in the exact same period of time that they realize they like their best friend, coworker or else.
Third, you can choose to be with the person you love and have a happy ending (I know there are a few dramas that end well but it's the minority).
Fourth, you can break up with the person you are dating before you act on your desires.
Fifth, if you don't want to be with someone, or you start having feelings for someone else while in a relationship you should break up with the person you are with, you don't have to wait till that person cheats, or gives you a reason, not wanting to be in a relationship is reason enough.
Last but not least: BEING GAY IS NOT A BAD THING, IS NOT A LIFE SENTENCE, OR SOMETHING TO HATE YOURSELF FOR, IS JUST LIKE YOUR TYPE OF BLOOD, OR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN, IS JUST ANOTHER FEATURE ABOUT YOU THAT'S ALL.
