Had potential

I love Kimberly as an actress and I've seen them Kim and James act together before. Chemistry is amazing here and in their other lakorn but the story could've been written better in so many ways. First time I need to write a review lol. Why btw did they give us the ending at the beginning(Pit had a dream) and changed nothing at all? Like what!!! Okay now for the actual review. The story has a slow start which I'm okay with because the actors and actresses made up for that but there were so many loose ends that were tied up simply with the death of the character. A lot of the characters showed no growth or were given an ending they didn't deserve. First of all, the twin, showed she was human, she loved Pee but other than that they just got rid of her. She went through stuff, was sad but in the end, she still wanted to do wrong. In my mind, she didn't deserve to die, she was not such a hatable character. She was never fully evil or she always went after someone only when they came at her. Pee, why, just why did they kill him, that added nothing to the story. They could've made a decent ending with both of the twins being happy. Pae, I just felt sorry for him. He was just there to be there, he was manipulated so much and I felt like watching his character turn into that was just (I can't find the word to describe it.) He didn't deserve that storyline, they could've made so much growth and progress with him. You can see it happening but they made majority of characters regressed. Even Pit, she wanted to fight for herself but then she kept going back to help her sister. How does that help her or her sister. The ending of the couple was nice but that was it. What I don't get is why did they kill the evil twin(they made it true like both the sister really couldn't be in this life together) but then the couple ended up having twins. It just doesn't match well with the ending. All in all acting top-notch for everyone. The script was well done as well but the storyline just brought this lakorn down so much. I had to write a review because the ending was one of the worst thai lakorn endings ever. Disappointed, it really had so much potential.

It started good but along the way it become too boring to watch. Even Kimberley great acting doesn’t help the story become better. The pace is too slow and too flat, lots of unnecessary scenes.

The story is too weird (i don’t know if this because of they want to follow original story, or because the writer?). At first I’m expecting it’s kind of a fast pace and spicy drama, but it’s not.

The ML is too weak for my taste, Duen keep doing unreasonably st*pid things; how can she’s too confident to think that she can get away with the violent that harm of chris baby and bussaba r*pe scenario? Well at least as an evil she needs to be wicked & smart right?

Pi is too weak there was one time she was stand up to Duen (and I thought it would turn the table an made the story spicier but it was not), and what’s with the uncle? From womanizer, looks like head over head with Duen, vut asking Warit to shaere Duen in bed, and suddenly sleep with Chris and made her pregnant then saying he loves her all the time? And lots more weirdness of this story line that I regret because it’s such a waste of many great actor there

There are 2 (two) things that really good with this drama:
1. Kimberley acting is so damn good. She show another level of her acting. i always love her acting though.
2. The twin effect is so seamless and looks real. They do excellent job on editing this part

in the the name of exploitation.

Be advised, this drama deserves the 18+ watch rating for episode 17 alone. Still confused to why it wasn't rated during the actual airing. I personally think management wasted a great cast, and the artists themselves tarnished their own portfolios by doing this. The story and episodes dragged. The repeating of scenes, and content was needless. Characters cheating, misunderstandings - A plot that didn't have any real destination and general distasteful content was repeated until I didn't care anymore. The ending is predictable, and you can see when it's predicted by the director in the opening credits. Do I recommend it? No. Not at all. I feel it was a cash cow for the channel, and artists went along with management. Neither really caring about, the audience's experience, or expectations. Sad, really. Because, I recommend you don't care about this drama either.

Two twins as different as Sun and Moon, Will they even care about each other or not?

I wrote a review while its ongoing (not my final review) cause I can and I really want to bring out my long elongated thoughts about this lakorn, this won't be my final review if I get to even continue this lakorn.

At first, I thought Kimmy and James Ma what could go wrong? Nothing could make my rating change from 10 to something else?
Well the ultimate problem is the scriptwriters, if you though Mia Jpum Pen was a lakorn for no respect for womankind your going to see something different in Song Sanaeha, despite that why the hell in the world did I even rate this lakorn the high score I gave it, For starters no I have not seen Mia Jpum Pen ( I used that as a reference since in that one people were pissed off at the treatment of woman in the lakorn).

Let me start off before you think I'm crazy woman who doesn't know how to rate and analyze lakorns, Kimberley and James Ma still have the explosive chemistry they had in Piang Chai Khon Nee Mai Chai Poo Wised. Okay right, but is only chemistry going to save the day, that just cannot be all right? So what if they have amazing chemistry that burns the screen, the main problem with the script and how the drama is paced out to be cannot be ignored right. Yes, I agree with you but if you know and watch Kimberley. You know one thing: is that her acting can make a trash can cry, yes that's right even a trash can. Kimberley is such a brilliant actress, that when she put in her all into this lakorn, I just cannot bring my heart to rate this lakorn lower with all of the things I have to praise Kimberley for.
Don't believe me?
Go watch one of the FINS that Channel 3 released of Song Sanaeha.
She plays Duen Yard to perfection
She plays Pi to perfection. (God knows how many Thai Lakorns I have to watch to get used to the good twin's name, Its too complicated coming from an Asian American who has a long name herself)

She cries
She makes us pity her
She makes us hate her
and most importantly
She does while looking like a absolute queen.
I am a fan of Kimberley, she is one of my favorite actresses but I won't say this if I am biased of her this lakorn would get a 10 no shit but no I am not biased I need to point out what a mess crack added addicting but bad for you lakorn this is.
Okay enough, simping over Kimberley,
The rest of cast does an absolute perfection too, James Ma plays Warit as his nice guy role (Not really nice now though) I've seen him play nice guy roles and might I say he plays them convincingly better than James Ji at nice guy roles, please don't hunt me down. Golf Pichaya stood out to me because might I say I hate him, his acting makes me despise him I could never look at Golf as a another cutie who is Mike's twin, and simp over him because he plays his role to perfection here and adds evilness with a great kick of "I hate this man why isn't he in jail yet role.", so yes he did the best out of supporting roles here. Songchai is the guy who you just hate for no reason even without a background story, and the actor did a old guy role as he is a old guy, pretty well. Namcha, her charecter here is useless but Namcha is a great actress I'll give her that, if I didn't watch her as a nice woman in Rak kan panlawan, I could swear here that I would hate her with all of my heart, she is just so annoying and terrible as a Nang Rai, that you can say she does her Nang Rai role to perfection. Bussaba is a new actress I have never seen before, she is also convincing as a woman with physcopatic inferences, she is the common "Daddy's girl with a few problems, or many" and if she makes me thinks she is on drugs, I can say she did her role well. Pee is just the sweetest second lead guy and the actor playing him is a diehard fan of Kim so I can see a little bit of shaking in role, but for his debut he did damn well, though not as well as the others oh well, its the suffering of being a fan of Kimmy lol.
The whole cast did a great addition to Kimberley's acting so I couldn't bear to give this lakorn less than a 7.5.

All of this makes it a addicting lakorn and on crack type of lakorn.
Now, after I get through the positive point of this lakorn
Here is the oh so long negative part of the lakorn.
All the men are horny, if you've seen the comments you can see how many people agree.
The male lead is a horny, two timer who is attracted to Duen (at least we can see it in the way he looks at her)
Heavy Heavy Indigestible Slap and Kiss from almost every male in this lakorn.
Can I just leave out Pee from all of this? He such a sweet guy, Pi and Pee and Duen should run away from the toxicity the other characters are.
From the start, there is focus on other characters for example, it takes 10 episodes really for Pi and Warit to get together and build a ship, only to be ruined by Duen.
Dragging the lakorn out unnecessarily , thanks writers.
Duen gets raped so many times, she starts raping others.
Again, thank you writers.
Kind of boring.
Writers don't know the difference from a rapist and a ex boyfriend.
In writers mind, for a person to be evil they need to sleep with everyone or get raped by everyone, get labeled as a slut and hate your own sister for no reason while actually not even hating her but having jealousy. Sorry but if you guys tried to make Duen evil so far, its not working, so far I feel pity and want to take her to a rehab center despite her not being on drugs.
I promised in my life, I wouldn't watch a lakorn with rape in as long as the Main guy doesn't rape anyone but sorry Warit you got raped and I can see you raping Duen or Pi in the near future, thats why I may drop this lakorn and am writing a review beforehand, so you guys can see if this lakorn will have negative ratings in the future, that you guys can at least see the acting and greatness of the cast since I believe people might ignore the greatness of the cast and skip over to the flaws of this lakorn, and so I want to make sure this review exists so people know this is not full trash. My suggestion if I continue to watch more: you should too, its still an addicting lakorn and its worth a try if you like makjang.
Oh and the OST deserves a 10, "Is it too much" Song for Song Sanaeha is addicting and is amazing, I was like this lakorn will be a hit due to this song, sadly the ratings in thailand not that great but the OST is the best.

Thanks for reading this long review if you did, and have fun if you decide to watch Song Sanaeha because your going through with a hell of a ride here.

Nicest evil twin ever.

This is a really heavy lakorn; I had to put it on hold for awhile. I couldn't take on how the story line is moving. But, every actor and actress did a very good job, especially Kim! She's a natural.

I have to say, my favorite characters are Duen and Pee. Pee is the only character that's innocent (imo), everybody else not so innocent. Duen went through a lot and the only person who were there for her and loves her was Pee. It was only until his last breath where she realized she loved him. But, Duen wants the best for herself that's why she kept choosing the same path every time. I pity her so much; she's such a strong character. She never really tried to hurt Pi except that one time where she tried to scratched Pi's face with a knife. Other than that, she really cares for Pi and their aunt. Also, Duen works really hard to get to where she is and when Pi entered the industry, she gets everything easily.

I don't really like Pi, she's wayyy too nice. Even after she said, she's not going to be considerate of Duen anymore, she's still way too nice to Duen. I understand that she's your twin sister, but Duen tried to hurt her that one time. She got really annoying for me. For Warit, I felt like he's just there... as a love interest for Pi. I don't have much to say about him. I don't like Warit and Pi together. I can't really feel the chemistry. Fast forward their scenes most of the time.

Pae and Bussaba are SO ANNOYING! They are so toxic and psycho. Bussaba always picks fights with Duen, she deserved it when Duen beat her ass. Pae is so weak (Bussaba too). He relies on Bussaba to provide for him. Both of them deserves each other. BYEE! LOL. But, I enjoyed Bussaba and Duen's cat fights.

Overall, it's a good lakorn on some parts. Wouldn't recommend it to people who are easily triggered by cursing and rape. This is a really heavy lakorn with little comedy. I'm just sad that there's no other side couple that are cute and non toxic to balance out the heaviness of this lakorn.

Weird plots and little characters growth

Overall I just enjoyed James-Kim chemistry rather than being sucked up to the plot. Kimberley acting also is a top-notch in this lakorn. She is an amazing actress indeed. I can hate her on being bitchy while crying at the same time with her acting. On the other side, the plot & storyline is really disappointing. Been waiting for James & Kim great comeback but this is a truly bizarre lakorn I’ve ever watched. Can the lakorn team presented more decent & watchable plot for the audience.

What’s wrong with Warit at the 1st place? (Although I love his character but there is something wrong with him) He is a married man to begin with.I know his wife might have been cheated on him/did unforgivable mistakes but it is just not right to hit on other woman while the knot is still in ties. He should solved things with Chris earlier but from what I saw, there is only a little effort from him to make a remarkable separation so that he can pursue his love to Pilardluck.

One more thing that I think the weirdest plot ever is when Warit’s uncle,Songchai knocked-up Chris (his nephew’s wife for real). This was totally nonsense!Followed up by when their relationship was being romanticized throughout the media. When the journalist asked Warit about his feeling on that, how can they act like a normal family on public???Seriously! At that time, Chris is still Warit’s legal wife.

On top of that, Songchai character is really unstable throughout the lakorn when he seems to favour Duen at first, then to have a crush on Chris and at last he wanted to make Duen as his niece after all the things he did to Duen. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Actually there are more of plot holes with nonsense idea here and there. The characters growth also is very slow and no growth at all at some point. Not to add the r*** scene and violent acts on women. I just can’t stand all those things.

I hope that Lakorn producers, directors and writers could produce a great stroryline next time and please eliminate the unnecessary scenes of women violents. Usually, the idea was good but when it comes to plot/storyline they always crashed it with typical boring/expected/overdramatise scenes.

Anyway there are also some realistic and sweet scenes which made me fall in love with the characters. Hoping to see another reunion of James & Kim with a better Lakorn. I think i need to rewatch Piang Chai Mai Kon Nee Mai Chai Poo Wised (When A Man Loves A Woman) just to neutralized my feeling after finished this Lakorn.
