Four young people have been arrested for crimes they did not commit. One of them is Katsuragi Ataru (Ichihara Hayato) who has been wrongly accused of murder and put behind bars in a Kita Kyushu jail. However, when he learns that his daughter with Sasaoka Yuki (Fukuda Saki) is in a critical condition because of an incurable heart ailment, he decides to break out of the jail. He is joined by three buddies - Kawashima Ryunosuke (Tsukamoto Takashi), a gangster serving a 10-year sentence for a murder; Takimoto Kuya (Ueda Tatsuya), a former host sentenced to 4 years for violation of the stimulant drugs control act and obstructing officers from performing their duty; and Kagami Shun (Suda Masaki), an ex-dispatch rider sentenced to 3 years for violating the stimulant drugs control act as well.

Although their motives and backgrounds are different, all of them are innocent and there are reasons why they cannot wait till their release. They have to get out of this jail as soon as they can. So they band together and begin to plan their escape in order to accomplish their goals. Bound for Tokyo - 1,000 km away from Kyushu - they have to overcome frequent challenges for the sake of their families and loved ones --Jdrama Weblog

This is the best thriller drama/series I've ever watched !! Even though I don't watch a lot of thrillers , I was excited to watch it because the story sounded interesting And it had 2 of my favorite actors ( Ichihara hayato , tsukamoto takashi )

Story : I gave it 10/10 because it has a lot of twists and it will keep you wondering what will happen next TRUST ME you'll finish it in one or two days because it's short and make you wanna go to the next episode and see what will happen and whenever they are on the edge of getting caught/exposed you will be screaming like NO NOO !!!!

Acting/cast : the acting was PERFECT especially Ichihara hayato and sakura
although the acting of ataru's girlfriend ( yuki ) wasn't that great

Music : the music was good

Rewatch value :- I actually had to rewatch it again because the episodes after episode 5 didn't have any subs so I had to wait more than 3 months for the subs . But after 3 months it's naturally that I will forget what happened so I had to rewatch it again and I will definitely rewatch it again in the future

I'll definitely recommend it you'll love it ^_^

I had never seen Ueda Tatsuya in a drama before so I thought I'd give this one a try. I was drawn towards it because Ueda shaved his head for it, and also the story line seemed rather interesting. I was drawn in immediately when I started watching. The actor that stands out to me the most in this drama is Hayato Ichihara his character Ataru is really quite amazing. You can really feel his emotions for yourself, and understand his need to save his family. While Ueda is originally the reason I was drawn to this drama, I think Ichihara is the reason I'm staying on board. I've only seen 4 out of the 9 episodes but that is because they haven't subbed that far yet! Hopefully the drama keeps going as well as what I have already watched!
