A love letter never sent
A summer day, like a lazy river meandering by a sleepy nook, twisting and turning aimlessly, like the sound of a silent forest, like the windmill turning endlessly, like a gentle breeze caressing your skin. A summer day, when time comes to a standstill, the past and future disappears, only the present remains with you and me. Your mere presence fills up being, your cluelessness of my true feeling twinges my heart, your gentle care soothes it so, I can not help but reveal myself. That summer, the past from which I can't move on.Was this review helpful to you?
However, the story-telling is a bit new. I did not realize how a very short film without speaking parts can speak volumes with just their actions.
And here the acting comes in as natural as if the actors are living it. The small touches, the glances, the visible clearing of throats, all gestures
contribute to the beautiful and poignant telling of the story of requited or unrequited love. (depending on one's view).
The music brings attention to the flow and ebb of emotions and moves the story along.
Re-watch value: The need to play this movie over and over again is quite strong, and quite tempting as it is short.
Overall, a very short and sweet film.

3 minutes of fluff 30 seconds of fright
This is just so peaceful and pretty... letting the scenery, looks, and gestures talk for themselves watching this is like a dose of calm... ok the calm music gets interrupted by painful silence... But there is just something about how they used all but words in these to convey so much more and make the viewers feel stuff... So I guess I am impressed and will probably revisit this every once in a while when i need a short dose of calm and a few seconds of angst... because you would not wan to much calm now would you.... As life is all about the balance...Ok enough with my blabbering, Lets just say these 3,5 minutes were well though of, well preformed and defiantly worth both the time I looked for it, watched it and wrote this review.

Well, that was a sweet and wholesome 4 minutes movie.
It was like watching someone's memories. Passing moments of happiness, unsureness, bravery, sadness and then hope. Even though this short movie is truly short, it portrays a wide range of emotions. Shot without any spoken dialogues, it relies on the small moments, touches, stolen glimpses. The movie is filmed in a beautiful way. The scenery is truly breathtaking. Supported by a good choice of music, it has this magical, light feel to it, that makes you miss your youth, first love, that is often unrequited and traveling with friends - full of happiness and undisturbed joy.
That said, since the movie does not have any spoken lines, they should have been slightly smarter with the choices of music/sound directing. There is a moment that is not accompanied by any sound, and it makes it feel empty, not finished, unpolished. It should be full of ambient noises. That would create a great contrast to the dreamlike feeling given a few seconds earlier.
Overall, well shot, well acted, well directed and produced sweet, short love story.

No words spoken, none needed
There were nothing but feelings and music for 4 minutes and it evoked a feeling of such bittersweetness in my heart that by the end I had tears leaking. For anyone who has fallen in love with their best friend they will understand this feeling. I would have loved to see this as as series but the impact would be lost. The story was told so completely in the small amount of time used that a full length series would make the impact lessen. The ending as with most of life is open-ended. Decide for yourself what the last lines mean. For each of us those lines could be both happy or sad. I think that’s the beauty of this piece. Was this review helpful to you?
Perfectly chosen music. And Asians? I don't mind them at all, quite the opposite.
"You said this was the best summer of your life... but for me the summer never ended"
Proč si neudělat příjemnou minichvilku? Nesdílet pocit krásna se Singapurcem a Kambodžanem. Vždyť jsme na tomto světě v tomto těle jen jednou ...
Bezva zvolená hudba. A Asiaté? Ti mě už vůbec nevadí, ba právě naopak.
"Řekl jsi, že toto je nejlepší léto tvého života ... ale pro mě to léto nikdy neskončilo"
