Touch Your Heart is a very light and simple (maybe too simple) story. This would totally uplift your mood, I enjoyed the court cases it definitely added a little bit of seriousness to the drama. As for the female lead I couldnt really buy the stalker story I felt like I needed more. I found the acting of Lee Dong wook a little mediocre in this drama especially in scenes with Yoo In na. The female lead was really childish but somehow I didn't find it annoying I rather found her cute. Rewatch value of this drama is high because overall its a really cute and basic romcom. I definitely had fun watching this. I would recommend if you are looking for a cute and straightforward love story.

Honestly probably one of the best rom-coms I've ever watched because I genuinely feel like this drama encapsulates what a rom-com should be perfectly. Personally, I think rom-coms shouldn't be centred around a complex storyline with characters sewn up with dark secrets and yes, this drama didn't have the most mind-blowing storyline in the world but I guess that's the beauty of it. The entire focus of the story was the journey of their romance and it was predictable and simple and there were no side plots which overshadowed the main one. There was adequate character development which was beautifully portrayed by the acting and so it was always amusing to watch as the two had a lot of chemistry which is what really brought the whole story together. If you're just looking for a wholesome, hilarious rom-com to enjoy without much thinking needed, this is absolutely the perfect drama for you.

When you have nothing else to watch

I was hoping this series would be worth a higher score but, it never got past the muck it started with. This is one of the few occasions where everything improved when the lead actress got less screen time.

I understand that almost all Asian dramas have the lead female be extra girly (tee hee's, swooning, acting childish, etc.) because that is what the public wants and expects but, they should have worked harder for her to mature during the 16 episodes. And, to have her drunk calling him three times in the first 8 episodes? Why did he even bother? The supporting cast was odd - there mainly for comedy. One female character bordered on mental instability and the writers still had her fall in love and be almost normal by the end. Definitely, don't look for any dose of reality here.

Some actors/actresses are stellar in this production. Loved every moment they were on the screen. Others, should have been given more time. I understand this is a Rom/Com and not to expect much but, this easily could have been a 10 parter since so much of some of the episodes were completely disposable. And, the lack of follow-through - let's introduce the Dad and then wrap up his need to be there in just a few minutes and then, never hear from him again. Let's introduce a bad guy and dispose of him after only a few minutes of screen time and not even mention how his family and money couldn't get him out of trouble that time. Money talks in some scenes and then, has no power in others.

Lee Dong Wook is a gift to this production. Oh Jung-Se plays his part perfectly. Jang So-yeon did a great job. Kim Chae Eun's character was very complex and she did a great job too. Loved the chemistry between her and Lee Sang Woo.

If you want something light and fluffy and have points where you can fast forward through almost entire episodes and not miss a thing - this one is for you! LOL I stuck with it because of some of the amazing characters and their story lines. Don't hate me!

Going into this drama, I didn't know that the creative team behind "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" was also behind this one – but the style is so similar that I guessed it before confirming. The quality is pretty consistent, so if you loved "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim," it's pretty safe to say you'd love this drama, too. Without initially remembering my exact rating for "Secretary Kim," I ended up giving "Touch Your Heart" the same rating – and indeed, they both left the same impression: cute, but mediocre. Nothing to write home about.

I watched "Secretary Kim" because I'm a fan of both leads, and I watched this one for essentially the same reason. I've been a fan of Lee Dong Wook for almost as long as I've been watching dramas, and I looked forward to seeing him work with Yoo In Na again. As "Goblin" is a pretty popular drama, I'm sure many viewers watched (or plan to watch) for the same reason. And in that regard, I found the drama quite enjoyable to watch. Despite being in their late twenties/early thirties, the main characters are both inexperienced when it comes to relationships and therefore their relationship has a sort of awkward, innocent quality that would be more expected of a teenage relationship than one between adults. Some may find that a little off-putting (and sometimes, the awkwardness does seem to be excessive even when taking into account their unusual circumstances), but they are so sweet and smitten with each other that they're overall a delight to watch.

Yoo In Na is utterly charming as Oh Yoon Seo, a once popular actress whose reputation was destroyed by a scandal she was framed for. Despite finding the drama itself a bit lackluster, I absolutely adore this character; she's definitely one of my favorites now. Yoon Seo is confident without acting superior, and to her co-workers' surprise, she is very kind and empathetic (if not quite "down-to-earth," because she is a bit spacey). She is completely, unabashedly feminine, and she surrounds herself in a world of pink. She is a bit reminiscent of Elle Wood in "Legally Blonde." Although Yoon Seo can be ditzy, she is observant and has an exceptionally good memory, so she's smarter than she initially seems. For me, Yoo In Na was the highlight of the show. I enjoyed her performance well enough in "Goblin," but this drama is the reason I'll definitely be watching out for her new work in the future.

Lee Dong Wook's character, Kwon Jung Rok, is very similar to the characters I've seen him play previously. He always seems to play the confident-but-discreet, cold-but-soft counterpart to the more exuberant, playful, and outwardly emotional female lead. What seems to mainly set Jung Rok apart from the others is that he comes across as having some autistic traits. He is obsessed with law to the point that it seems like a special interest (in the context of autism), and he typically has a flat affect. He is adorably clueless of pop culture, initially has no idea of how to be in a relationship, and turns to Yoon Seo's dramas for ideas to make her happy. He is completely in his element at work, but he seems to feel a bit lost everywhere else. It is fun to see him slowly open up to Yoon Seo and be so vulnerable with her, despite the fact that it clearly forces him to stretch his comfort zone.

The supporting characters were usually very fun to watch in this drama. The comedy is wacky and over-the-top (complete with unobtrusive, cartoonish sound effects), which works for me; I literally laughed out loud so much. So, if it's so funny, so cute, and so sweet, why didn't I rate it higher? The plot. The drama spends so much time hinting at an interesting backstory or conflict that never really goes anywhere. There is so little depth to the backstory involving Se Won and Yeo Reum that I found it really hard to care. Likewise, the conflict involving the antagonist from Yoon Seo's past seemed like it would get really interesting – but after building up a lot of suspense, it quickly fizzles out.

There are still several episodes left after that, but they mostly consists of fluffy, slice-of-life romance and cliché tropes to add brief, unnecessary – and frankly, boring – conflict to the relationship. While the fluffy bits are cute and entertaining, I would have preferred one primary, well written, suspenseful conflict for the main couple to overcome that could keep me on the edge of my seat. Yoon Seo's stalker situation could have definitely been that, with the other comparatively minor conflicts woven in, so the way it was written was disappointing.

I can't say I'd highly recommend "Touch Your Heart," but it's not a terrible drama either. It has some really great points, but I prefer a plot with more substance.

With crisp sound effects, lively OST, and wholesome characters, this show gives me a lot of joy!

Yeon Seo, a popular celebrity who is known for bad acting got involved in a drug scandal which made her get cut from all her projects. Few years later, she gets a chance to play a lawyer role in a drama on one condition: interning in a law firm to learn what their day-to-day life is like. All her new colleagues admire her persona, but not her cold-strict mentor Jung Rook.

This show is not all light romcom, we have interesting law cases that kept me invested throughout. The whole law firm team are all nice people, each has their own quirkiness, adding dynamic to the show. With crisp sound effects, lively OST, and a wholesome cast, it’s just a lot of joy!

Yeon Seo our actress is no doubt goddess-like gorgeous! She’s extremely bubbly and straightforward, thanks to Yoo In Na, she showed both really genuine acting and also bad acting very well. Though her character doesn't have a lot of practical skills, she's eager to learn. When someone is giving her a hard time, she stands up for herself instead of giving up. Jung Rook doesn’t look special as a stereotype-perfect male lead at first, but Lee Dong Wook portrayals of him feels fresh, blunt, and quirky. His sincerity, innocence, and chipmunk smile are too die for :3 But my favorite aspect is seeing them together. They encouraged each other out of their comfort zones in a very positive way. Their romantic scenes made me smile and very lovely. Anyone who watched Goblin will not deny the chemistry between these two actors is undeniably real!

The only con for me is a twist in almost the final part, which seems out-of-the-character and so cliche. But the ending is sweet and satisfying. This is a heartwarming show that I’d always happy to watch after a busy day, like a cup of hot chocolate. This show is not a Goblin spin-off, but it is everything I need and more.

This was a VERY simple drama. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I was entertained, yet it was something I've already seen before. I was expecting this drama was amazing chemistry and what I got was just meh. I wasn't a huge fan of these characters - I am glad that they both went through some character development. Jung Rok started off as this grouchy guy who never smiled and let anyone in until he fell in love with Yoon Seo and honestly became this dorky person who liked to incorporate his knowledge on the law to crack jokes. Yoon Seo on the other hand developed into a more mature person who stood up for herself more. She still remained quirky and loud, but now she could share her quirkiness with a dork. I wanted more chemistry between the characters because they had worked with one another before, but maybe it was just their acting that threw me off. Jung Rok literally had zero emotions throughout this drama so you had no idea what he was thinking or feeling, and I felt Yoon Seo's pain whenever she was conflicted about Jung Rok's feelings. I loved when Jung Rok became this complete dork around Yoon Seo, but his character tested me a little bit. I understand why he felt the need to break things off with her (because he loved her and didn't want their relationship to be the scandal that ruins her comeback), but he broke up with her in such a confusing and heartbreaking way and then continued to be a dick to her whenever she tried to reach out. Then we had the make-up scene which wasn't satisfying whatsoever. All I have to say about this relationship is that Jung Rok is one lucky guy to have a girl that loved him so much even after all the harsh things he said to her after the break up. verall, I wasn't super sold with the main characters, but for the simple drama it was (compared to the last dramas I have seen that have been intense af) it was really cute and charming and dorky. I think I was disappointed because I expected this amazing drama because of all the hype around it, but it was just another drama that didn't have any new element to it. Plus, I "like" how the drama seemed to be slow to some extent and then literally the last 10 minutes of the last episode jumped around from one day to the next as if it was trying to rush everything before the ending. Which is something I didn't enjoy because we had a whole episode where they were trying to spend their last 20 hours together before she would be traveling internationally for her drama. PLUS, I "love" how they were so sad about her traveling as if she was going to be gone for a a few months to a year yet, it was literally a week that she would be gone. Their romance was cute, don't get me wrong, but they both were way to obsessed with the other. Then we get an ending that we are supposed to be satisfied with - literally the reason why they broke up in the first place. Yoon Seo and Jung Rok made their couple debut and literally no one cared like they thought they were going to. It was very...anti-climatic. I am happy that they were able to debut as a couple...but this was the huge plot point in their relationship where Jung Rok was told that if they did, her reputation would be dragged through the dirt and went as far as breaking her heart to protect her...but literally no one cared at the end and it seemed like such an unnecessary plot point. Like they both should have known better.

I have to admit that I've not watched to Goblin yet, but touch your heart took my attention some months ago. This drama is cute, lovely, adorable and sweet, it's 100% romcom, there's not gonna be a lot to think about, and this isn't a bad thing, not at all.

Yoo In Na and Lee Dong Wook make an incredible couple, their chemistry is completely insane, all the romantic scene you'll be laughing, smilling, and thinking how cute they're together. But in the beginning Oh Yoon-seo was really annoying, and In Na acting was kinda too much, completely forced to be cute or girly, of course after some point everthing gets okay. Lee Dong Wook as Kwon Jung Rok was really cool to watch, his acting was on point, actually there were some moments I felt Dong Wook wasn't enjoying playing this character, however this might be something I created from nowhere. The other character were really funny too, they didn't have a really deep plot, like the secretary, she was really cool and funny because she couldn't control her mouth and everytime used to say inappropriate thing, but the screenwriters didn't make a plot to her at all, and here comes the problem with this k-drama

The plot is really focused in the main couple and that's not a problem, because it's a flesh and funny romcom, however the other character were amazing and all of them deserved a good plot too, but most of the time their stories used to make no sense or were solved very easily like (SPOILER) Yang Eun-Ji's daughter bullying thing which came from nowhere and resolution was really dumb, and i'm not gonna talk about Eunji and Lee Doo Sub romance... that was heartbroken, that's one of the exemples I can score . Now the REAL problem to me, the stalker plot... I don't see the real importance of this man, he wasn't charismatic, the "watchful villain" is always boring and forgettable, and the trouble with him was solved in two episodes, you can blink your eyes and is everything ok again, so he was useless and and all his scenes were terrible.

Overall this k-drama is really cool and funny, you can waste your time watching it, don't need to think a lot about the story, Yoo In Na and Lee Dong Wook together are perfect (ps: i hope the star dating, get married, have children and everything) and it's a tvN tv show, so the way everything was recorded fitted with the whole romantic atmosphera, it was really cool. cute and sweet; excellent to watch right after Goblin, but ultimately forgettable

I, like many others who watched this show, was drawn to it because the actors' roles in Goblin broke my heart and I wanted to see them in something else (and possibly even pretend it was a Goblin spinoff). Touch Your Heart was exactly the zero-stakes fluff-fest my broken heart needed at the time I watched it, and Yoo In Na and Lee Dong-wook did a good enough job with what they were given. And although it was very sweet and very cute and I really enjoyed it for what it was it was (especially since I am now developing a bit of a Lee Dong-wook problem), it's ultimately a very forgettable romcom. Something good to watch if you want to be entertained but don't want to have to think too terribly hard. :)

Cute but a real cliche

This review will be the most objective i can do. English is not my first langage, so please excuse my errors.

I was really excited at first to watch this drama, for the cast. I really loved this couple in Goblin and to watch them in a drama as a main couple. I wasn't really deceived by this drama but I can't say i was pleased either.

Roles and cast:
The cast and the different roles in this drama were very interesting. I'd say all the actors portrayed their roles well, their wasn't a thing of bad acting.
But one thing that kind of put me off is the caricatural roles that were portrayed. From the popular and pure, cute actress to the cold outside but warm hearted man. It was really cliche. Other than that I can understand that the other roles were exaggerated since their purpose were to be funny. The second couple was dull at first but cute after.


The plot:
Another thing that bothered me was the plot. The story was at the very beginning logical, there was a plot but past the fifth episode, the plot was gone. It was all focused on the romance and not on the actual danger that was suposed to disturb them. The same "huge" danger that was solved in 2 episodes. The second lead couples were supposed to have a "story" behind their 7 years together and their breakup but it was evoked in one line in only one episode and their were done talking about it.

The Romance:
Between the two main lead it was cute. Very cute, maybe too cute. I feel like their couple was nothing more than sweetness. It was just too much at some point, they were too sweet it was unrealistic and kinda annoying in the last episodes.

The length:
Due to the lack of plot, the episodes were filled with unecessary praises and compliments and they were no obtacles to their couple and the episodes became sweet but dull due to the lack of twists and turns. The supporting roles were the only rebounds of the show.

If you are looking for an overly sweet drama with a couple with a great chemestry, and if the lack of plot and exaggerated roles doesn't bother you, then this drama is for you.

A primer on how to be hot but boring.

Man...I had such high hopes for this drama because these two were so good together in Goblin. There's a major theme in Kdramas though where the lead actress has to be pretty but not tooooo pretty. This female lead plays a lot of supporting roles because she easily rules the "too pretty" category of Kdrama actresses. Most of the dramas I've seen her in she plays the ditzy not-to-bright but super pretty side characters. This drama took that exact same type-cast side character and made a drama around her. The problem is that it's basically still a side-character's story. It's like you're watching two supporting cast members in every scene and you never get to meet the actual main cast. I wasn't a fan.

The actors do very well playing their respective parts, but the story and the script are so bland what's even the point. There needed to be SOMETHING, some additional plot device, to make this more interesting than a side-story. It's disappointing because, let's be honest, it's fun to watch hot people do hot people things on your tv screen. But without any substance you might as well just turn the volume/subtitles off and watch the pretty moving pictures. I mean...come on...spoiled bratty actress and aloof dickish lawyer. It's like every trope got tossed into one drama and you've got a trope salad without dressing for your troubles.

I still liked it well enough to watch the whole thing...but mostly because Lee Dong Wook is hot....kind of like in a weird frozen faced too much botox way, but he's still super hot. I just wish they'd given him something to actually act instead of having to exclusively and constantly play off the counterpart bimbo character. I wish they'd given her some depth so she wouldn't have to just be a total bimbo with no personality the entire drama.

Definitely would not rewatch, once was difficult enough thanks.
