This show is a double-edged sword. It is good because it has a plot that I like, but I've seen it before. I like that it continued the story that the original never got to do, but it's more like a diet version.

The acting (minus Phana's actor) was so much better in the first. I feel so bad. I tried SO HARD to like this new one. I kept telling my friends to watch it and give it a chance. But the acting felt flat. Phana's actor was better than the first but Wayo, Ming, Kit, and Beam were lacking. Forth's actor was by far the most believable, and his couple had the most chemistry. Chemistry is what lacked A LOT in this series compared to the previous. I was almost bored my certain scenes. The pacing was also very fast, and it lacked a lot of memorable scenes that were replaced with Wayo and his stereotype fairy gang. I know they played a huge plot in the book, but they rewrote a lot already. Why not tone them down?

But it was enjoyable and overall a decent remake. It just doesn't quite have good rewatch value.

Do not think twice, watch it immediately. It'll be the best decision you will make for a BL series.

After getting through the hesitation of watching the 2nd season because of the change of actor, I think, I made a good decision in pushing through. I think I like better Yo, Ming, Pha's actor here especially Yo's actor, I think he is best suited for that twinky -hopeless-romantic-loverboy type. Bas is cute and all, but Earth's performance shows that he is more suited. I think actors from the first season are quite bland and blank in terms of acting, quite poker-face actually. Of course, they would have a special place in my gay heart because it wasn't for them, I would have not encountered season 2 actors and for that, I am eternally grateful. Khob khun khrap.

I also like how thoughtful whoever's in charge of this production because they have recapped the entire season 1 in the first 4 episodes so that the viewers will get used to the new actors playing the roles. I think if they went in immediately with season 2, watching will be awkward and meh. So Khob khun khrap to the in charge. That was quite a smart move actually. For me, I learned to appreciate and love all the same all he new actors because of the recap and I am now ready and excited to watch the rest of the season because the new actors' presence have kicked in already in me.

Also, I have to mention, baby Earth Teerapat awfully looks like Saint Suppapong's shorter twin. Such an adorable boy just like Saint himself.

2moons2 The Series

2moons2 was among some of the first few series I watched when I first came across the BL genre. I actually watched this before I found out about 2moons, so I saw this cast playing the characters first.

I really liked this series. Granted it wasn’t the most original storyline but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

Phana & Wayo:
I enjoyed their interactions for the most part, but did get a bit annoyed with the lack of communication between them at times. They did have some really sweet moments though.

Ming & Kit:
I absolutely adored these two, for some reason they stole my heart and ended being my favourite pairing of the show.
I don’t know what it was but I really liked their chemistry & their scenes together felt very natural.

Forth & Beam:
These two confused me a little at first, as they were both pining after other people, but when I re watched the series their pairing made more sense. They both wanted people they couldn’t have and found comfort in each other. I did feel like their feelings for each other afterwards though were a bit rushed but again I still enjoyed watching them.

Overall I enjoyed this series, but do wish we could’ve seen a bit more development of the couples. Hopefully we’ll see that in 2moons3.

I am sad that Earth won’t be a part of 2moons3, but I can totally understand his situation & reasons, and wish him all the best for the future.
I am just hoping they don’t completely scrap the rest of the cast and bring in a load of new people again, but I’ll guess we will have to wait & see.

Definitely worth watching!

2Moons was great, the actors were all very handsome and I loved the acting! Plus the OST was incredibly good for 2Moons and I’m a sucker for good music! So I didn’t think 2Moons2 was going to be worth it seeing as I loved basically everything about the first one, and after seeing that 2Moons2 was a remake, not a sequel, I was disappointed and was pouty because I didn’t like the new actors.

However, I finally watched it, expecting it to be 2Moons with the same lines and pace but different actors.

I was completely wrong.

The actors were amazing and I grew to love them even more than I did the actors from 2Moons. They felt like they had more chemistry than the original actors and they all looked so cute together I couldn’t stay upset with the cast change very long before I was dreamily sighing and fangirling at their every word.

I would say that out of the two, 2Moons2 is my favorite and one I would, and have, recommend to people.

Regarding the OST. I rated it kinda low because, and I know I shouldn’t say it, compared to 2Moons I couldn’t see the variety in songs. I know 2Moons didn’t exactly have an extensive OST, I can still sing and do the hand motions to 1 2 3 4 5 i love you, but it was more so than 2Moons2 in my opinion. However, I don’t think anyone should not watch it simply because the OST wasn’t great in my opinion, or even in your own. The OST is important, but not a deal breaker.

The story for the first few episodes is largely just a fast pace recap of 2Moons, it gives enough detail in my opinion so that if you’ve never watched 2Moons you could watch 2Moons2 and still get what happened. However, during this recap the acting was good, but you don’t get the same feel as you did in 2Moons, they don’t feel too connected and you can definitely feel that it’s rushing to tell the summary of what happened so they can just move on. When it does pass the recap phase though, the acting and the chemistry are 100x better.

In the end, if you’re reading this review, debating if you should watch 2Moons2 either because you’ve watched 2Moons and want to watch 2Moons3 when it releases or you would rather not watch 2Moons and just watch 2Moons2, I’d say go for it. It’s worth watching at least once. The acting is amazing, the story goes further than it did in 2Moons, and the actors will grow on you with time.

Just give it a chance because you might be like me and absolutely fall in love with it!

A nice remake with an interesting cast.

This is a pretty enjoyable remake of the original 2 Moons. I am glad they condensed the story of the first season into the first 4 episodes, so that the rest of the episodes still felt fresh.

Not gonna lie, I think the lead couple here is very meh. I think the actor who plays Wayo really cannot act because his crying is atrocious, his "aegyo" is cringe and he is generally very stiff. This actor is also the lead in My Secret Love and he is better in that. The actor who plays P'Pha is also very bland, and really plays the character very monotonously. I thought their chemistry was extremely lacking and their scenes just felt like a drag. The original Wayo and P'Pha were way better, imo.

On the other hand, the second and third couples are very cute and enjoyable. My fave couple was Ming x Kit, which was a great enemies-to-lovers story. Their chemistry had spark and their vibe was very fun and engaging. I loved seeing how these two got together. Also, the actor who plays Ming is absolutely gorgeous!

The Beam x Forth couple is also cute. I love how they start out as friends and sort of build an attraction over time. I got through this show by skipping all the scenes featuring the main CP after the first few episodes and just watched for the other 2 couples!

I really like the way they act by their characters. What I love the most is that they expand the storyline more. They include the storyline of season one and they make a summary to it to expand season two. And so that the other viewers will understand the story even though they are not watching the 2moons. I'm really sad at first that the cast of 2moons will change. The 2moons2 series cast handle it and good at portraying the characters of the series. I really like the chemistry of Fourth and Beam it was so sweet and a combination of hotness. The Ming and Kit was so cute. And Pha and Wayo also had great chemistry.

2 Moons 2 is WAY better than what I expected!
At first, I was kind of affraid and scared because they just...changed the actors. It was strange but I tried to give a chance to this series because the first season was super gooood,so I watch it over.

But I was I was pleasantly disappointed, but after the second episode I was super hyped up and omg!
I started to love the series, about everything.
I was super duper excited every next episodes...but waaaa that 1 week was so long, while I waited for the caption to be available. BUT it's worth it. muhaha

Also, what I like about this series is they make storyline, and those epic moment what everyone know who have seen the series uwu
It's super way to make a remake and not wasting your old viewer time. And at the same time, the new viewer can also follow the storyline and they are not lost and they not getting confused during the scenes.
Last but not least, I'm just so happy that I gave this series a chance BUT NOW I JUST- I can't wait for the next season!! OMGG.
Anyway..agh I just can hope they won't change the casts anymore, i really like the way they act as the roles, and I love these new ships uwu :3
And at the last thing is what I want to say I just want to say thank you for the directors and to the cast and to the stuff, thank you for working hard <3

I originally wasn't going to watch it because of it being a remake so I thought it would be the exact same as the first season, oh how wrong I was! Only until episode 4 does it repeat and after that, it becomes different and better! The chemistry between the actors was the best, ForthBeam already killed me even though they only had around 5-6 episodes together. Phayo is always amazing although, for me, I felt that they were overshadowed due to the stronger stories of the other couples. Or maybe it's because I have already watched season 1 and know the basic story. The ship of MingKit was really strong and came at number 2 for me after ForthBeam, but we cannot deny the sparks. Both J9 are amazing actors, I cannot wait until we get season 3. But let me just say this, Forth and Beam made this show really good for me!

The plot of the serie is like any other bl serie. Still I think it's worth watching. The serie has three main couples, all three which are very cute. I have to say that Fourth and Beam is my favorite. The handle love in a very mature way which I really appreciate. Also, it is a very manly couple which is kind of uncommon in the bl world.

Though, it took me some time to like the acting (not the actors, I love them). But once you get over the acting, the serie is amazing.

Something I must say I really love about this serie, is the actors chemistry in real life. They are all super funny, kind and lovely. You can see in the serie that their friendship is more than just their friendship on the screen.

Better than expected!❤️

I watched 2Moons2 directly after 2Moons so i thought the cast change would be horrible for me. At first it was weird to get to know the new actors.
But it was suprisingly easy. The Cast was great and in the End i liked it much more than the cast from season 1!

I was very happy that MingKit and ForthBeam got more screentime in that season.. I melted away every time MingKit appeared. THEIR KISS NEAR THE END OF THE SEASON i- TT

If you liked 2Moons you'll love 2Moons2! I was a bit sad about the ending but i hope 2Moons3 will continue at the same point. Can't wait!

I've watched the first season and the second season for at least five times each by now. At first I did not want to watch Season 2 because of the casting change but curiosity got the better of me. Mea culpa. :-)

After watching both seasons many times, I have to say that I still prefer Bas as Wayo. While Earth did a good job in the 2nd season, I think that Bas' characterization of Wayo in Season 1 is more believable and endearing. Bas as Wayo has a good combination of innocence and strength which makes his character a good foil for the arrogant P'Pha. I especially loved the piano scene in Season 1 where Wayo was narrating how he became the moon of the science faculty and dedicating the song to P'Pha. Kudos also to the one who made the song arrangement. It was really a heartfelt and touching scene.

Moreover, although Godt (season 1) is more handsome than Ben (season 2) as P'Pha, I have to admit that Ben and Earth (Wayo) have more on-screen chemistry. There were just some scenes in Season 2 that I find Ben's acting to be a bit "dry" (like the facial expressions and bodily actions are not apt to the scene). Maybe it is the acting per se (need more workshops?) or the script (or both?).

Anyway, what I liked in Season 2 is the development of the MingKit couple. Kim's portrayal of the bestfriend Ming in Season 1 is quite on point and honestly quite funny. However, Joong (Ming) and Nine (Kit) in Season 2 appear to be much closer to each other in real life which I think translated to better chemistry for the couple on screen. The banter between MingKit is much more exciting in Season 2, I promise. ;-)

Finally, what I loved most in Season 2 is the actualization of the ForthBeam tandem. While the actors portraying Forth (Tae) and Beam (Tee) in Season 1 are both goodlooking and also good actors, I think I did not see any scene where these two had any relevant dialogue to each other more so not even a hint of a budding romance in Season 1 which is supposedly in preparation for Season 2 (like the MingKit couple). For me, the most talented actor in 2 Moons 2 would have to be Pavel. His portrayal of the character Forth is excellent - tough and simple but sensitive. He more than makes up for the shyness and elegance of Dome's character Beam. Bravo Pavel!

Although I still love Bas as Wayo, there's nothing we can do about the fact that the cast change happened. We can just hope for a much better Season 3 soon. Best of luck to the actors and production team of 2 Moons 3. Can't wait to see the characters back again soon. :-D

Way better than expected

Ook now now coming to this season, definitely I was little hesitant to watch, but what brought me in 2 moons 2 after the disastrous 2 moons season 1, that is I won't say was very good or extraordinary..But more than what I can imagine..And I can say I'm happy watching 2 moons season 2...I was kind of sceptic should I watch this? Why? After 2 moons the series , and definitely I didn't watch this season after completing 2 moons season 1...But then watching few clippings of this season in youtube made me think it's good, I should atleast try to watch...And like this here I'm .. So first foremost coming to the cast, as well all knowing in all the original six of the actors are replaced in this season..So people would have thought before seeing the series should they watch it or not? Because I know one can't adept easily to the cast they first saw..And not even one the whole cast totally changed...But that was not at all a problem for me in my case.. Frankly speaking I was happy and little sad too.. Happy for the part that Bas isn't there in this season, his acting in 2 moons 1 made me so mad...But then God was not there in this season but ook , Ben did a perfect job and I really loved his character of phana he played.. And definitely more than happy that we got earth in this season, definitely earth is way to good for wayo's character..His acting really made me happy.. Atleast not like Bas whose expression was the same throughout the season 1.. Earth was frankly perfect for wayo's character for me.. I really liked Ben and Earth as phana and Wayo in this season.. Coming to ming and kit...this couple made me sad, as becoz I was really expecting Kim and copter to play in this series..No one could have better acted than both of them...I really missed them in this season..But after watching joong and nine, I can't say they were bad.. Really they made the character of ming and kit adorable.. Really liked this couple in this season..And lastly forth and beam, I never expected anything from this couple..Becoz in season 1 we got the other 2 couples story, forth and beam we didn't get any of this couple story..But yes 2 moons 2 equally focussed on all the three couples..Got to see forth and beam story.. which again is not my so favourite couple ( ship) But damn Pavel is the most handsome guy I felt in this 2 moons 2 more handsome than Ben..He definitely has a aura, and this made his character as forth more interesting.. Totally loved it...
Now coming to the storyline, I actually didn't think they would start the story from where the whole 2 moons started, this thing actually made me think is the story again going to be the same like in season 1 , of phana and Wayo taking 6- 7 episodes like that to know each other and after dating also it didn't felt they were dating..No hugs, holding hands, leaving kisses all these..But no 2 moons 2 didn't do that..I was very reluctant to watch, as first episode only I got to know 2 moons 2 starting that the show is only a re- capitulation of what comprised in season 1 whole 12 episodes..So I felt like quitting it ..but then I thought I started it so let's watch it..And yes, after probably 5 episodes we got the other half of the story of phana and Wayo dating, their problems, jealousy, kisses , and damn yes this made me happy...If anyone watched season 1 first I guess u can skip those 4 episodes like that, becoz the 4 episodes comprised the entire season 1 entire story, in a short way...But after 5 episodes is where it caught my attention..And then I liked how it progressed of phana and Wayo dating, ming & kit, forth & beam story...And I guess this season totally did a justice to all the 3 pairs..Showing the equal progress of each of thier relationship and secondly I didn't actually felt bore seeing the other 2 couples, ming &kit or forth & beam..Their part of the story was cute... I expected to see more of phana and Wayo story, but yea there were other couples too..So it's fair we got equal space and time for them.... And I certainly felt earth really if he can portray a intimidating shy guy, he definitely can be a good confident guy too ..His visual are really good ..He can be a good top as well as a shy bottom too... And as can one say, how the story ended in cliffhanger, season 3 is waiting ...I just hope now the production don't change the cast again...Becoz I'm really used to this cast and frankly I loved all the 6 actors... But then I know never can I believe the production company...they have the potential to change the cast and making us fans furious. I actually don't want earth and Ben being replaced especially, phana and Wayo character totally they nailed it...They are the main reason for 2 moons series, I really love these 2 actors...I don't want them to be changed ..Hope season 3 will not be disappointing , hoping they would not change the cast..
