This is a spoiler-free review.

To be honest, I had reservations about watching this show because I thought a love story between a human and ghost would feel silly, forced or awkward, but somehow they really did manage to pull it off.

He's Coming to Me is one of the sweetest shows I have seen in a while, with the relationship between the two leads feeling natural and believable from the start. While there are plenty of comedic moments, the tone of this series never strays too far from the melancholy; at no point is the viewer allowed to forget that one of the main characters is dead, and that is played to poignant effect from start to finish.

Emotionally engaging throughout and with a great soundtrack and solid performances from the entire cast, this show was really an unexpected treat. Both the lead actors have matured since their roles in Sotus and Make It Right, respectively, and they felt right together. The supporting characters were also well-played, especially Praifah.

And finally, props to the writers and director for not bloating the show with unnecessary side-characters and sub-plots. Everyone who appears in this show has a reason for being there. At just 8 episodes, the pacing felt right, without dead space and go-nowhere filler episodes. Too many dramas tread water in this way, so it's refreshing to see this sort of compact, on-point storytelling.

If TharnType gave heat to the 2019 BL scene, He's Coming to Me gave it heart. If you've been sitting on the fence about watching this one, give it a try.

need Season2 ... we love Gmm tv ... line tv ... gmm record ... gmm original ... thnks for all series, and a wish gmm tv make season 2 He's comming to me ... Shinto and Ohm ... we love you From Indonesia ... I like this series, you know when I watch this I know that I will immediately like it, not only I even my friends also like to watch this. there's something out of the film, but sorry I can only give you # 10 ranting, you know? I'm very sorry that I cannot provide more than # 10 ranting. We love you Director, cast and friends of He's Comming to me. We love you, greetings from Indonesian viewers. I hope there will be a second season with more than 10 eps, my dream is to make films. Sometimes I hallucinate how the story in the second season later. P'Sing who can see ghosts makes him sink in fear, and finally P'Singto and P'Ohm help P'Sing add to the impression of mystery. Meanwhile, P'Chimon and his girlfriend will feel very stupid because sometimes like to see P'sing and P'ohm talking to themselves so that it adds to the impression of comedy. Do not forget too, a romantic story that comes from a candy also participated and the main players in this story. A strong destiny takes them, the power of the heart makes their love stronger. We all know at the end of season 1, that P'Singto is a bit showing his true identity and succeeded in making P'Ohm scared. sometimes I also think in season 2, there will also be a moment where Shimon's happy ending and P'Ohm's Sad Ending will die saving P'Chimon and his girlfriend. whereas P'Sing is a person who can also see the Spirit. it's very difficult to see P'ohm die. Whereas the addition of a new character like P'Earth player from 1001 stars 2020 is very fitting to be a barrier to the love story of P'chimon and his girlfriend. like when I said P'ohm would die, because it protected P'Chimon. with the help of P'Sing and the power of P'Shingto who gave his final strength, brought P'ohm back to life. that way, p'shingto finally can go quietly after getting a sense of love. I do not imagine the feelings of the audience watching it in the second season, definitely Shook. moreover P'Shingto and P'Ohm and P'Sing are the main key in the second season. while in the third season, the background is still at school. there will be a moment where the school will come a terrible terror, right at the end of the P'Ohm and P'Sing P'Chimon lecture semesters. After losing P'Shingto, P'Ohm will feel lonely. and terror began. in order to reveal the truth So P'Ohm and P'Sing performed a prayer ritual to a temple that was the same as in the first season to reveal the truth, in a place. memories reappear, but P'Ohm is determined for the truth.P'Singto returned, determination and strong trust made God believe and opened the gate for P'Shingto. As the Spirit of P'Shingto will help and become a media to find out the truth of the perpetrators of terror together, P'Sing and P'Ohm. mission accomplished and terror was finished, now P'Sing and P'Ohm are back as students. and so is P'Shingto who disappeared. Until one day at the graduation ceremony, P'Shingto appeared not as a spirit but a renkernasi. which makes them end up with happiness.

to be honest, at first I was not interest in watching this series at all but I end up watching ti because I had nothing to watch. First, I have to said that although it's only 8 episodes but it feel like I have watch more than that. the story is just so emotional and touching to the watchers. Although there is no hot scene like many BL series but the feeling of the characters in the series really show through. the story line is kind of weird at first because of the timeline and ages but as you going through it, it keep getting better. I would 100% recommend this bl series if you are thinking on watching it but not sure whether to watch it or not. I promise you, you would not regret it.

Best supernatural rom-com

Supernatural? Check. Romantic? Check. Sad? Check. Comedic in many aspects? Check. Mysterious? Check. This is the best love story I have watched with a mystery as its core reason for the interaction of the two main characters. Despite having ONLY 8 episodes, the writers did not waste time developing the plot. I had so many lights blub moments where I went 'Omg, that makes so much sense." or "god damn it! Why didn't I think of that?". I recommend this to everyone that enjoys the supernatural genres. While watching this show, I felt like I was playing a game of murder mystery. The ONLY issue I had with this series was the side stories, and it was dragging some of the episodes that I skipped some parts to make the show focus more on the main characters. Though compared to other BLs, the side stories are not THAT bad. AND WOW, this series is very underrated? I believe this show is a gold gem. 100% recommended!

This was GREAT!

I was expecting to be disappointed with the supernatural story line (especially after the trainwreck of "My Dream"), but boy, was I pleasantly surprised. This is up there in the 3 favorite Asian series I've seen.

As someone who never bought into the SingtoKrist thing in either of the SOTUS series (although I did like them in Our Skyy), as well as not particularly liking FrameBook in Make it Right 1 & 2, my expectations were low. But I LOVED both Singto and Ohm in this. Their chemistry was undeniable, the acting from the entire cast was on point for the whole series and the storyline was really compelling... I couldn't wait to see what would happen next, from week to week!

My only complaint was in the last episode, where the grandfather admitted to everyone that he intentionally premeditated--and carried out--Mes's murder, for his own selfish reasons of wanting Mes's money... and everyone quickly just forgives him, with no questions asked. I mean, come on! He MURDERED someone and gets away with "sorry I murdered Mes, but since I feel really bad about that, I'll start a charity in his name." ...well, I guess that makes it all okay then! That was my only problem with anything in the entire series, which is why I rated the Story as a 9.0 instead of a 10.

Fantastic series, which I highly recommend!

When I first saw the trailer, I already knew that this was not going to have a happy ending. Since I am a sensitive person, I thought that it's going to be emotional and wasn't planning to give it a try but yet I did, for both singto and ohm.
The first few episodes were so heart-warming, comical, and sweet. I really enjoyed the story-line, even though most of it didn't really make sense. A ghost who couldn't reincarnate because he didn't know the reason of his death? I didn't enjoy that idea much, but I still went with the flow.
I really liked the love square between prince, Plaifah, Met and Than (sorry, I am not sure about the correct spellings)
Also, It was kinda emotional how Than was trying to figure his feelings out. I did ship Plaifah and Prince from the start though XD!
The comic relief in this series was very unique XD I honestly loved Gun and Ampere's Duo and I wanted them to have more screen time together, Unfortunately they appear rarely till the end.
And in the name of lord, Singto rocked it!! I was so impressed with his natural way of acting. He has really come a long way from sotus.
Ohm was a genuine sweetheart throughout the series. I loved his character.
The ending had me on the edge of my seat. I must say, the novelist has done a good job with the story and the actors rocked it.
The music that was played as the ost in this series had a deep meaning to it and It really matched the emotional atmosphere,
That's all I have to say, This is a gem in the history of gmmtv.

Old and tired story made short & cute

So. We have Singto, who is way more mature in both looks and acting skills, than this... Ohm Pawat? To call the main duo uneven would be an understatement.
The beginning had potential, but just as soon as Singto's ghosts lost his walkman, I felt like this show lost its charm. And I really didn't need to watch some investigation of how the ghost died: I actually appreciated when they first showed us it was a "simple" heart attack.

Unfortunatelly, nothing was treated as good enough as it first was, from the big picture to minor details (the ghosts gets new clothes, which are more lame than the previous ones, etc.) and many unnecessary things were added. Seems the material was good enough for 1,5 hour long movie and then someone decided to change everything about it to make it "last longer"...

I would have preferred if Singto's ghost knew his own name and remembered his life. After all, he was supposed to be his person, not amnesiac. Amnesiac means no personality. But of course, amnesia-loving scriptwriters never seem to realize this. It would be more fun to just let everyone and everything to interact with this "guy from the nineties", rather than "investigate" who he was and who killed him. While that seems "dramatically attractive", truth is that watching your family to deal with your death and eventually forget about you completely and then simply watching the life go on without you gives you way more interesting a character depth than being stuck in one place with no memory and then released to the modern world just to solve some scriptwriter-invented mystery about what happened to you decades ago.

And because it's not logical for the character to be himself and NOT remember anything, they let the character remember only some things, depending on how the scriptwriter currently needs it. Yeah, it's not difficult to write scripts like that.

Ironically enough, after the main boy took the ghost boy out of the confinement of his graveyard to the wide world outside, it started to be hundred times more boring. With the two boys spending most of their time asking local librarian about 20 years old records (I didn't particularly wish to see them becoming a couple, but had they at least flirted then maybe this would be bearable) or asking temple monk about how to bring back lost memories, or interviewing old neighbors, I considered dropping this series already. It was more "fun" when the the ghost was still hanging around the graveyard with his fellow ghosts. (They were still better than the alive boy's friends.)

I was bored. They tried to make a bit fun about the main boy often appearing to be talking to himself. But today's times, all he needed to do is get an earpiece. Nobody should pay notice enough to make it a gag.

I considered dropping this by episode 5. I just couldn't help myself, the theme of being a ghost is lame to begin with. I didn't care who killed him, either. At last in episode 5 finally something moderately dramatic/romantic begins, nevertheless in this series, I did not really care who ends up with whom.

There's a kiss in episode 6. I don't really care whether I'm watching gay or straight romance, what's important is the romance itself. The intimate scenes, if they work, are powerful enough to compel the audience into watching even a weak general story. On the other hand, hideous looking kiss can kill the romance completely and destroy everyone's good work on the series. The producers should therefore always consider carefully whether the skinship scenes are good enough to put in (there CAN be a good romance without kiss scene/s, you know). See? I didn't even go into criticizing how stupid is for the ghostboy to suddenly materialize his 20 years dead body for the other boy to touch:) No, let's not think about the physical decay now, lol.

This one is more on a cute side, that is funny. After the two boys discover they can touch (and therefore jump in bed together) they share a modest peck and the next morning main boy's mother comes to hang out in his room, playing her youth age songs, which are actually the songs which ghost boy likes to listen to:) She is in good humour being suddenly able to share her taste with her son. Not knowing the real cause of this, of course:) Nevertheless, it's also inadvertently pointed out that the boy is actually romantically bonding with someone whose soul is close to his mother's. Yay fans, enjoy your ghost romance:-p

But when it's revealed the mother actually dated the ghostboy in the past, I thought that enough is enough, lol. When the mother is able to see the ghostboy too, the idiocy is completed. Of course I understand the "logic", the boy had to inherit his abilities from someone, lol. But it's idiotic that they did this to the "romance story". This had it all in episode 1.
Anyways, his mother and the ghostboy share a "touching conversation" which reminded me of US series 'Ghost Whisperer' with Jennifer Love Hewitt (I don't know a worse thing to comare it to). There is also a scene where the main boy tries to convince his friends about the ghost presence. Another "fun scene" is him going inside the house ghostboy died in, looking around as if he expects some proof of his murder 20 years ago jumping on him at plain sight (suspense music is playing, of course, lol).

But, of course, soon he finds a "secret room" and we get our "detective" story solved, luckilly it was more of mild, slice-of-life kind of conclusion. That goes for any lovestory here, too. So I actually appreciated the final episode. The last bed scene is also far from action one, lol. One moment the main boy asks the ghost boy if he's asleep, yet. The idea of a ghost who is sleeping is so ridiculous that it's cute, so it fits here:) I also appreciated the way their ability to "touch" was explained. But, I wasn't really moved by their sad story. The only "deep" thing about this couple was that one of them was a ghost. Else in honesty, these two did not make a couple that I would be engaged to watch.

I found the last emotional parting scene on the graveyard really like something from 'Ghost Whisperer'. I couldn't help but smirk. Singto's tears did not move me this time (try another genre next time:) Weirdly enough, I even cared more about his two fellow graveyard ghosts he was leaving behind, perhaps because THEY were the most fleshy characters around (first role I didn't mind Ampere in). But! The real ending saved it. Thank goodness this was not left with either teary or mindlessly happy ending. It was just right, and funny. It kind of redeemed this (still pleasantly short) series.

Now obviously it takes a lot to call series one of the best but this one deserves it and here's why:

STORY: The story overall is original, with a lot of thought put into it, plot twists etc. This is something that we haven't seen yet and it's just overall beautiful! Also what I loved, it that the fact that Than being gay isn't the main focus on the series but rather the fact that love between Than and Mes won't ever be the easiest and the most "normal" or traditional and of course it will be hard for others to understand un thus a lot of hardships will come with it. Also I this is one of the rare BL's where characters are actually said to be gay and not just "oh he's an exception". At first, I really liked this in BLs but the more you watch BL series, the more you see how occasional it is so the fact that they openly said that the characters are gay and not just in love with each other is a big plus from my side. Overall the story is really beautiful and it contains a lot of small details which can help you to discover the plot twists and let you think more into the story.

ACTING/CAST: At first, I decided to watch the series only because it was a BL and for the cast. I knew most of the actors (Ohm, Singto, Sing, Chimon, Gunsmile, Ampere, Guy, JJ) from their previous works and was really excited to just see them in new work and they sure didn't disappoint me! <3 Ohm's acting has become so much better and you can just feel all of the emotions from him. Singto as well. I saw a lot of people saying that it will be hard for them to watch the series since Singo had already started in a BL with Krist (SOTUS) and that ship was pretty big around the BL community so it's understandable that some hardcore shippers were kind of pissed that GMMTV were ruining one of the greatest BL ships. Of course, at first I had a thought about this but after the first 2 episodes, you see that Singto can also play a gay role with other actors and not just Krist which is a great point because a lot of actors aren't really comfortable. I could even say that this pairing is much better (sry peraya fans). Overall Singto's acting has become greater as well as Ohm's so I'm really happy about that. Also, the actress who played Than's mom was amazing. You can feel that she is talking with her heart as if he's her real son who she's talking to.

MUSIC: I just loved that they used mostly old songs from the mid-'90s and most of them I even downloaded right after cause they all felt so sweet and genuine. Few were sad and few were happy songs and they were really nicely placed around the moments so there weren't any awkward silent moments. Thai music is overall really great so these series won't disappoint you with that.

REWATCH VALUE: For whether I'm going to rewatch them or not, we'll see. I probably will because they're not that long and when you have nothing to do it's a really nice one to rewatch and just smile like an idiot c: But also I would like to rewatch them knowing all the details because a lot of times when you rewatch series you see certain things much differently than before when you didn't know that something's going to happen.

OVERALL: As I already said, these series are just beautiful because everything just comes together so perfectly. As for whether this needs a season 2...I doubt. This is a small beautiful moment that shouldn't be ruined just because fans want more. If GMMTV decides to do something similar to ReminderS with these series, I'm all for it. No need for a full-length season but just a small reminder of the happiness that lightens up my day <3

Best BL Ever

I don't know where to start 555
First, I hate the fact that this is so underrated. It didn't get the attention that it deserves because of "some toxic fans".
I love everything about it. The cast, characters, music, and plot. It has the perfect amount of comedy and drama with a lot of unexpected twists and memorable moments.

Thoughut just a few episodes, the series was more than enough to satisfy you. The scene with the reunion of Mes and Thun's mother was the best one for me.

Brilliant & Heart-Breaking! Watching HCTM Felt Like Experiencing Life!

I am speechless! No words can express how I feel about this series. It's brilliant! It's perfect! I haven't seen anything as wonderful and so life-affirming as this series! My heart felt so fragile while watching this series; like it was about to shatter anytime, like it was about to burst!

I knew that this series was going to be good based on its premise, but I didn't expect it to be this good! A wondrous BL wrapped up in a riveting mystery whose premise was so utterly unique. Different than your standard Thai BL that is set in university, which makes it all the more special! It had a slow start but quickly picked up and its suspense has never let down once since. A story that is pitch-perfect in execution and that dealt with the struggles of coming out. I haven't a film or TV show that has dealt with coming out as tenderly and touching as this series (and that's a lot coming from a closeted gay individual who has watched a ton of LGBT content)! There was so much love from Thun's friends and mother, it felt like I was coming out of the closet myself and experiencing all this love myself. My heart welled up and I broke as I know deep down that my coming out will be vastly different, but at least it gives me hope... Imagine the impact that the coming out scenes can/will have on young Asian boys everywhere. Watching this series will give them hope. Hope that their lives will be better. That they will be accepted by their family and friends. That they will no longer have to hide themselves. I absolutely adore how this series dealt with sexuality and identity issues. Thun struggled with his sexuality; with his feelings for another guy. To see him accept these feelings broke me. I wished that I saw this when I was younger. I wouldn't have spent so much time praying and wishing to get rid of my 'abnormal' feelings for another boy, which did a number on my mind and self-esteem that still lasts to this very day. To show that gay people can find and forge deep, profound human connections with one another was a blessing. My heart broke and then got repaired. My heart felt so full; that it was about to burst from all the love between Mes and Thun. Watching Thun and Mes's relationship give me hope that I will love and be loved one day. The fact that their relationship is impossible (that Mase is a ghost whose time on Earth is limited) makes it all the more tragic and beautiful in a sense. More urgent than other standard BL relationships where the conflict is usually within oneself, not out of one's control. All the greatest love stories like Titanic and Romeo & Juliet display star-crossed lovers; lovers that cannot be. He's Coming to Me depicts a similar love. Although love can be ill-fated and you may not stay together, it is always better to make the most of it as life is short! We should try to be happy while we are still alive...

And their chemistry! Their chemistry was electric! I dare say that Singto's chemistry with Ohm is even better than with Krist! All the performances all around were strong! Ohm though was so impressive! I found him to be the most impressive actor in a Thai BL that I've seen thus far. He was so freaking good! I can see why Ohm won a LINE TV award for Best Dramatic Scene for this series! On a different note, Thun/Ohm was so cute! I cannot contain how cute he was, especially when he smiled! My heart melted! And Gigie, the actress who played Praifah is the cock blocker of the gays. LOL. 2gether and He's Coming To Me.

It is really unfortunate that it's a LINE TV exclusive and isn't on Youtube as it could've gotten and deserved to be so much more popular than other BL series like SOTUS and 2gether (which I still love but prefer He's Coming to Me more).

On a side note, I did not like the two rape jokes that were mentioned, which was distasteful and served no purpose whatever other than cheap laughs. And what's up with Thailand's fixation on equating beauty to Chinese appearances. It's kinda weird. I wonder if there's a basis for it... I did some research on Wikipedia and came across this sentence: "many of the wealthy Thais in Bangkok are of Chinese descent and have naturally lighter skin than the indigenous Thais from the countryside." It makes sense as Asia is very prejudiced with their penchant for lighter skin and Eurocentric beauty. It's unfortunate, but GMMTV should help shape and change people's views on beauty, especially since they have so many beautiful full-Thai artists under their banner.

Heartwarming yet heartwrenching

I want to start this review with saying it's a MUST WATCH for BL fans.

The story:
The story is amazing. Most BL dramas are all about school but this one isn't really which makes it refreshing!! The story is actually really good and I was constantly wondering "how did he die?" So the story keeps you curious and entertained.
What I loved most about this series is that it's also about the difficulties of coming out. The male lead is getting teased about getting a girlfriend and about (possibly) being gay and more.. if you get teased a lot.. it makes it harder for someone to accept themself and to come out. So those struggles were really well portrayed.
The only thing I didn't like 100% is the ending. The two didn't get separated but they also can't totally be together since the guy is still a ghost. That's too bad.

The acting:
I freaking loveeeee the actors. The side characters were lots of fun and totally cute. BUT the main actors.... OOFFFFF WE STAN! The male actor (the living one) is soo cute. I have seen him in different dramas but he keeps evolving. The other male actor (the ghost) was very adorable. And when the two got together it was like two matching souls. They have great chemistry together!! I loved that.

My opinion:
Despite the two never really getting together.. as two living souls.. it's still a beautiful, cute and romantic drama. So I'd definitely rewatch this... like too many times.

TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Personally, I didn’t really feel the romance but everything else about this drama was just about perfect. The characters, all of them, the friendships, the mother-son relationship… Thun had, hands down, one of the best coming out episode I have ever seen. Yes, pretty much a whole ep was dedicated to him coming out as gay to his friends and the girl who liked him and his mom, and it was one of the most wonderful, most wonderfully acted thing I’ve seen.

I adored Thun’s friends, how much they all genuinely loved Thun, how worried they were about him keeping secrets from them, how they were willing to face his wrath to get him the help they thought he needed when they convinced themselves he was on drugs, the way they went above and beyond casual friendship “duties” for him.

And his mom, his mom deserved a Mother of the Year™ award. She was so incredible, so fantastic. No wonder Thun grew up to be such an amazing boy with a mom like her. They pushed all my parent-kid buttons with their love and care for each other. That was beautiful.

Also, the mystery was so intriguing! I genuinely didn’t think that it would turn out to be that particular person, the murderer. Huh. I adored the whole reveal scene, the way Thun kept pushing and pushing and pushing to get to the truth because he promised Met to figure out what happened to him!

The ending felt a bit like a cope-out, TBH. I think I would’ve preferred if Met reincarnated and went looking for Thun as an adult. But that’s just me…
