A Live Action version of the Sailor Moon anime.
A great evil, consisting of Queen Beryl, her four generals, and an amorphous evil power named Queen Metaria attempt to steal energy so that Beryl can take over the world.
Standing in their way are the Sailor Senshi, five middle-school-aged girls: perky Usagi Tsukino, genius Ami Mizuno, paranormally gifted shrine maiden Rei Hino, tomboyish Makoto Kino, and J-pop idol Minako Aino; two beings that appear to be sentient stuffed cats (Luna and Artemis); and Tuxedo Mask, a jewel thief in search of a Silver Crystal. Sailor Moon was my first anime so I definitely had to watch this live action. It's very cool. Love the storyline and the music. The graphics are just awesome. The monsters weren't done with 3d graphics to be more authentic, real. It was definitely a good choice. The actors/actresses are not professionals but didn't have to be :D They created the feeling that this drama is for children and also teenagers who love Sailor Moon. (actually I'm already 22 but love to watch the episodes over and over again).
So if you're a Sailor Moon fan you must watch this! Age is doesn't matter! :D

Wow. I must say this is a really good series and at first i thought it was going to be kinda cheesy because of how the monsters turned out to be and stuff and with how they made the sailor scouts into karaoke and whatever. But after watching all of the episodes(including the specials), I was hooked.

I must say this is definitely better than the anime and a little better than the manga. For instance, Usagi is much more serious and not such a wimp or a crybaby like the way the anime portrayed her to be. Ami is actually more fun and not into studyin g so much, Raye is more kinder and less harsh and not boy crazy, makoto is even cooler, and minako is definitely more focused than the way the anime portrayed her.

This is a really good series that is worth watching, especially if your a fan of the anime or manga or a fan of both like i am. You won't be disappointed. You will even love the ending. Watch it if you have a chance.
