Why MDL must separate this... So uncomfortable for me to write this into 2 part.... Bu i try to do my best then... Here we go....

Do you ever imagine you enter the game and play as their lead role... Yeah this movie it's about that. A funny story to... As if in the game, you can undo the game, in here that's became reality with limited access of course... So funny to see she can undo some scene, but stupidly still select the same action in the first... ^_^

First part is about Luo Jing (LJ) learn about the game, getting to know the man she 'can' select & of course falling in love with the man she choose. Although seem her man already selected automatically when she selected the level of game. I don't know can she select other man when she select different level of the game... ^_^

Ok. Continue to part 2... :D

Adorable Acting

Summary: just like the romance of the rose & Tiger, this seems to be a low budget film , made to make viewers smile. It’s nothing out-of-this world. Most scenes are generic, same old thing romance in a video game mode so it’s meant for you not to take it seriously but enjoy the acting.

Pro:
- Great acting. I’ve watched many many dramas and this girl is in par with Bai Lu ( The Legends) and charisma of Princess Agents. The actors are good as well especially the two main guys. Not bad.
- Cute chemistry.
- some good lines and the plot is something different because it’s VR style. Still cute

Cons:
- same old pattern in romance. Predictable
- same fillers by 15th episodes. Supporting actors are so-so

Guilty Pleasure Drama

The premise for this series is so overdone. It seems like every other Chinese Costume Drama starts off in the modern world and ends up in a VR game version of ancient China. This set-up needs to stop. Having said that, this costume drama somehow won me over, reluctantly, to the point that it is now my guilty pleasure drama.

The FL definitely started off as the stereotypical annoying brat, but I prefered this to the docile, perpetual victim self-pitying human doormat trope. She may be uneducated, uncultured, and loud (nothing wrong with being loud if you are also intelligent, but if you aren't, then it's annoying). Over time, however, her natural charm and relatability won me over, and she stopped being annoying.

She was kind, and cared about people, and like all of us, enjoyed lusting after all the hot guys in her VR reverse-harem. Gong Jun's character is the overly stern and cold prince type who doesn't treats the FL quite badly but she chooses him over the SML who literally sacrificed everything for her. That's a rather unfortunate trope that the self-sacrificing lover doesn't get the girl, but the lover that treats her badly does.

Anyway, this isn't meant to be a deep, thoughtful drama. It's meant to be an entertaining and fun watch, which it is.

12 eps in and I'm honestly having a blast. It's such a silly drama. Very, very, very silly. But then, it does take place inside a PC game so, you know... There are huge (!) leaps in logic, maddening shortcuts in story-telling, whenever the FML is stuck in a situation she can't get out of, the deus ex machina System appears and helps her out - all the things you actually expect from a PC game so is it a bad writing or actually a great writing? Who knows, not me.

But I still love it. Yes, the FML is very, very, very silly - I seem to keep saying that - but she is a gamer playing a game, it's not real for her, any of it, she's just having a blast and going on adventures with no consequences to her actions because she can reload the game any time she wants - exactly 5 times, that is. And it takes time for her to actually start caring about the characters in the game as if they were real people who could die - and they can. Because even though they come back to life once she reloads the game, their memories from the last save to the reset are gone so are they still the same people?

And because the FL behaves like a nut - at least in the eyes of the NPCs - it explains why the ML (played by Gong Jun) treats her the way he does. Sure, he's a tsundere - for very good reasons - but she pushes all his buttons - and he hers - so it's not your usual situation with a poor, oppressed woman and an arrogant guy, it's a push and pull of misunderstandings and mull-headed stubbornness on both sides.

Also, I really like the ML's bodyguard - he's so amused by his lord's endless fisticuffs with his lady - and the ML's best friend. I love how the leads draw everyone in their mansion into their petty fights, it's much fun.

That's pretty much it, in general, fun. You can't take anything about this drama seriously. It's not meant to be taken seriously, really. It's a drama about a love story set in a PC game, for cryin' out loud. And it shows!

Have you ever been so into a game you feel like you get sucked into it? Well, this drama literally sucks the main protagonist Lin Luo Jing into an otome (dating) game.

Otome games are notorious for their heart pounding and wrenching events and this drama just shows you this with real live humans. You'll find some slapstick comedy and some serious moments that you will never forget. There are many routes in this drama so which will you choose? You are the decider of your own fate (or in this case Lin Luo Jing is of hers). Overall Lin Luo Jing grows as a character and with that's what's good about this drama. You make a mistake and you learn from it. But be careful you only have so many lives! {10.0}

What's an otome game without cute, handsome, hot guys? You will enjoy the view very very much with Simon Gong, Alen Feng, Li Hao, and etc. I do like myself some visualization if you get what I mean. Zheng Qiu Hong (Lin Luo Jing) the main female lead has chemistry with all the boys which are rare to see in dramas. Now I don't cry to dramas often but when I do it's because of good acting. I'll be honest here while watching this I cried so often that my boyfriend was actually worried for me. {10.0}

Now I must say although the music wasn't sing-along worthy it definitely sets the mood. Did you know the second lead Alen Feng (Liu Xiu Wen) actually sings one of the OSTs? They mixed some modern music with traditional elements which was interesting. I definitely liked the moments that made it seem like a music video with those flashbacks. {9.0}

Would I watch it again? Of course, I would but let me prepare some ice cream and tissues first. This one is going on my recommended list {10.0}

This is a nice fantasy drama. The story happens within a video game in a historical timeline where the leading female is accidentally gets drawn into it and the only way to get back to the real would be after she finds her true love. The actors did a fairly good job delivering their characters but there’s no consistent great acting. The leading couple has decent chemistry but it could have been better. The storyline is lighthearted with some good dramatic moments and the story is easy to follow. The last episode felt rushed and the ending, although it was a good one, it was insipid.

Uniquely satisfying Fantasy Chinese drama with a huge twist (a twist which I won’t reveal)

Costume & Period, Romance, Time Travel Fusion, Gaming Drama

Unique Lady is about a young lady whose life amounts to only playing video games and studying. She is distraught over her pathetic love life, and gets trapped in a video game about “finding your person” in the Sheng-Yuan Dynasty. She has to cosplay play this video game all the way through, before she can exist. She is surrounded by gorgeous men all over the place, falling in love with her. So I thought that this would be a perfect brainless down-time Chinese Drama, with the emphasis on brainless. However, surprise! Unique Lady actual has an extremely engaging and intelligent storyline, which is well written and acted. I should have known that this drama was not run-of-the-mill when I saw the Chinese actors’ firepower lined up for this drama. To add to this viewing pleasure, Unique Lady also has a Season 2. In the 24 episodes for seasons one and two, there is a fan viewing commitment time of less than 18 hours. The same goes for season 2. Therefore, the Chinese Drama Unique Lady is Korean Drama Fan Friendly.

This Drama is taken from Lascivious Lady by Orange Light Game: Adapted from the novel Haose Qianjin by Qing Lanlan

You will get massive Dual Lead Syndrome with these main suitors. I could not choose.

Actors’ Corner

The heroine of Unique Lady is Lin Lou Jing (Played by Zheng Qiu Hong or Jade from Fairyland Lovers). She has four suitors in this dating video game, all four with totally different personalities. There is a digital System Conductor, which helps guide her through her game choices. Lin Lou Jing has only five attempts at finding Mr. Right and she must find someone whom she loves and who loves her, before she can exist the game.

The main suitors for Lin Lou Jing are Zhong Wu Mei (Played by Gong Jun or Simon from Begin Again) and Liu Xiu Wen/[Prince of Qiyu] (Played by Fang Yilun or Alen, who is dead ringer for Hyun Bin and appeared in The Long Ballard).

Gong Jun has an interesting backstory. His first day at University, his teachers took one look at him and told him he should be in Chinese dramas, because of his look. He was able to change majors and was sent to acting school. And the rest is history.

You can include in the mix of people with whom to fall in love, the Third and Fourth Leads.

Jiang Xuan Yu (Played by Yu Kai Ning from Cute Programer) and Hua Ying Chi (Played by Li Hao from Douluo Continent)

Have fun.
