Too shallow and boring
Besides the ML looking gorgeous, there's not much to see in this drama. The FL is mediocre and so is the flow: unrealistic, rushed, way too schematic. The plot is - yet again! - about the cold CEO who falls for the average Cinderella, new thing is just the CEO being creepy and acting like a stalker (not even on-screen, but as shown in flash-backs!).I watched 14 episodes and it feels like too many already.
Dropped.

The main couple are honestly fukcing adorable together and their chemistry is off the chartsI'm actually so glad that they paired Xu Kai Cheng and Simona Wang together ugh honestly,,,,, the flavour jumped out
the plot, however, is soo cliche but uh i'm not complaining though lmfao i luv me some rich daddies
Tbh this show is actually pretty good if you just try to ignore the whole fact that the main lead is a psychopath and all lol. However, it's a good thing the drama did a good job of pinpointing his personality (??) and showed his character development in the later episodes where he was able to change his ways
Also,,, not that anybody cares, but uh i watched this on a site where it said it had 22 episodes and it turned out there was only 20 and damn that made me so sad bc i actually waited till the weekend so i could end it on a rlly happy note on the last two episodes i thought it had

GUYS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO WATCH THIS DO NOT HESITATE, TRY IT. I don't know why so many people do not like this drama. If you are too critical and too cynic of a person, You shouldn't watch too much dramas. if these dramas affect your principles in life, then might as well drop this. I know it touches a very sensitive topic and seriously that thing is really disturbing. But i must advice, be ready with dramas like this. I can't say this is really very good, because personally i do have my favorites too. But i cannot deny how this drama differs to the ones i am used to watching; some fluffy, feel good dramas that won't stress you out, some that gives you a right dose of romance and sweetness. I want to give this drama a justice. Inspite of having a really wierd plot, i liked it too because it doesn't follow the trend of a typical idol drama. It depicts a very unusual kind of character, which is in the embodiment of Ling Yi Zhou. OK I KNOW, HE IS CREEPY AND AS YOU SAY 'PSYCHO'. But have you ever considered his past? Being into too much dramas for the past 10 years of my life, i become very understanding of each characters that i watch in dramas, I try to analyze their actions and it's reasons. While watching their actions, i take into account these characters' personality, their background. I cannot blame you for naming him as a psycho, but have it ever occurred to you it's his way of expressing his love? Maybe what happened to his past, his mother leaving him, that is what triggers him to become this obsessive or possessive. He's afraid that this one person (Xia Lin) that he truly cherish the most might leave him again just like his mom. That being said he took the risk and do things that he thought was right. Cause I have said, he lacked motherly love, or plainly the feeling of being loved and reciprocating it to someone (in the general sense). If you payed attention to this drama more, maybe you should have think that this is just a drama. although being fictional, maybe this thing really happens around the world and you just doesn't have an idea about it. I'm not saying stalking, being obsessive, drugging and such are good things. but wtf, seriously? THIS IS A DRAMA, NOT A DOCUMENTARY OR A REALITY SHOW. IF YOU SIGNED UP FOR A LOVEY-DOVEY, LIGHT-HEARTED, FLUFFY, SWEETNESS OVERLOAD DRAMA THAT WILL NOT STRESS YOU OUT YOU WOULD WANT TO PUKE. THEN LADIES AND GENTLEMAN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.I like Yi Zhou and Xia Lin sweet scenes the most. I liked how Yo Zhou love Xia Lin (putting possessiveness and obsession aside) that he made those things for her. I like how Xia Lin still strives to achieve her dreams, being an independent girl and how she doesn't take the opportunity of being with Yi zhou to be more famous. This kind of drama is so rare that really gets you into a roller coaster ride, especially in Chinese dramas where plots were just the same as others. I liked how they made Yi Zhou's character that differs him to other male lead CEO's in other dramas. They put something real in his personality, not a copy cat from other dramas.
The supporting characters also gave justice to their roles, i liked how mysterious Wen Li is, and how he handles Feifei. Feifei being a good friend and spicing up Wen Li's character. I think the antagonists are good enough to make things worse for the leads. Many cdramas don't have evil people like what this drama has, and there's also scenes that has gun, drugging, hypnotizing. A very unusual thing for modern c dramas that i have watched as of today. it is tagged as MELODRAMA, HELLO????! wtf are y'all syin'?
The OST was okay, songs that were played were very suitable for each scenes.
I don't want to elaborate the things that i don't like more. cause you can clearly see many of it in this comment section. I'd just like to give another point of view for the drama. Honestly. while I was watching and was enlightened about it's twists and turns, really said to myself. "This drama should have a 'fucked-up' tag". But again i will say I REALLY APPRECIATED THIS AND IT IS FINE TO WATCH THIS. If you want to watch this and see the comments and especially THE REVIEWS ahead, do not mind what other people say. Let YOU be the one who will judge the drama. But if you really do not want to, drop and find what suits your style. As simple as that.

If this was a make-believe romcom with a psychological horror twist where the husband turns out to be the villain and the person who is framed as a villain is actually desperately trying to help the girl to escape, this series would've been mind-blowingly clever with a jaw-dropping 180 in the middle.Alas, it was just a crazy dude stalking her for two entire years after running into her once, lying she has cancer, frauding her into a marriage, and locking her into the house when she finds out :) Not to mention that he had all the money and power to manipulate everything around them to his benefit.
She deserved so much better despite being endlessly annoying, the real villain is the husband who's in serious need of therapy, the so-called villain could've been a hero, Chu Yan carried the entire show, and I've simply had enough.

I don't think I've ever been this disturbed after watching a ROMANCE drama. If this was a thriller I'd be down, but that's obviously not the case here. **MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD**
It starts out with the cliché of sick FL and macho ceo ML offering a marriage contract. The overall chemistry between them was okay. There were times where the ML would get pushy and "overprotective" (not the good supportive kind but the "don't talk to men" and "don't wear short skirts" kinda protective that we as an audience are supposed to find sexy). But he had remained somewhat respectful or more accurately he wasn't a complete ass to her (the bar is on the floor here).
There is also an amnesia arc here for some reason?????? That does nothing except vilify the already very one dimensional antagonist - the girl best friend and also solidify both the leads feelings for each other.
Then the chilling 10th ep comes. The conflict starts out with the FL getting drugged. Something to note here is that drugging someone is the writer(s) favorite plot device because it has been used 2 times in 10 eps. So anyway, the FL goes to a hospital for a checkup where the doctor asks for her previous diagnosis. She then finds her original test report with the ML which says her tests were normal. So, this man basically stalked a woman and manipulated her into thinking she has CANCER and more or less forced her to sign a marriage contract. This woman had to agree to marry a stranger and put her career on hold all to receive treatment for an illness she didn't even have.
I don't even have to watch the rest of the show to know that she ends up with him and I definitely don't plan on wasting more time with this and neither should you :)
PS I would give OVERALL and REWATCH a 0 but it won't let me do it.

I think the guy did great but not so sure with the girl, it was fine I guess. I find it tolerable enough to be watched till the end. Side characters are enjoyable too.
I didn't fond of romance genre that much, yet sometimes we need this fluff contents. But the main guy is still wronged! (and visually appealing)

This drama is a light one, so do expect the quality. It is made for fun.

I'm from Las Vegas, I really love it and I can't wait for the next season. Even thought I don't understand but thanks God they have a subtitle so I'm really happy. Hopefully the same cast. I love Xu kai Cheng and Xia Lin (sorry I forgot her real name :)), they are really good. 'Till next season, good luck guys! :)

Cute
Well, it was pretty cute.I enjoyed the music.
I, most of the time, try to avoid chinese dramas like this one. They could be too cheesy.
But I have to admit that I actually enjoyed this one.
One thing that I didn't like was definitely him being a little bit toxic... like that's not how things work. You can't "force" someone to marry you. Yeah, Yi Zhou may be in love with Xia Lin (maybe). Be he kinda stalked her 🙄 like... that's creepy....
But overall it's cute.
I'd think I'd re-watch it sometimes... but skipping scenes.

THIS IS CRAZY
* spoiler*i thought this was the cutest drama id ever seen a drama about a girl with a illness and needs bone marrow and the male lead is her match they get into a contract relationship she gets then bone marrow she needs up until the 10th episode that man is PSYCHOTIC HE FAKES HER ILLNESS AND TRYS TO JUSTIFY WITH SOME I LOVE YOU CRAP. A STALKER AND A WERDIO HE HAS NO CONSIDERATION FOR HER FELLINGS ONLY HIS AND SHE LOCKS HER UP BUT OFCCC THEY TRY TO PLAY IT OFF AS LOVE THAT IS NOT LOVE ITS OBSESSION overall the drama could’ve been really good but the plot twist is really odd but it’s an okay drama just really unexpected the man is not good for hee and he needs some therapy and to stay far away from her

On the first episode I thought that the story would be boring, but I did get hooked up and start looking up for the next episodes. The chemistry between the 2 main leads are cute and they look good being a couple. But after episode 13, I already got bored. Maybe because the story between the main leads is too fast. After episode 5 (?) they already got married and the male lead accepted the offer of the girl. And starting from there, the story gets more weirder, from the friend of the male lead liking the female lead, the male lead is obsessed with his wife, the female lead doesn't really have a deadly disease, and more. I start to get tired of the story. Problems after problems. And the female lead is stupid for getting back to his obsessed husband. And a little bit weird and annoying(?) that the clothes of the female lead keeps repeating, as in the same top with the same pants/skirt that she wore on the 1st episode will appear on the 8th and 12th episode. I mean your husband is rich why not buy new clothes.
But the good things here in this drama are, the music, I did like some of the characters, and the story of this drama is a little bit good compare to the other Chinese dramas that I have watched. The acting of the characters are good too. So I will give it a 6.5/10.
