Warning: this review is not very well written and mostly for my own entertainment and there are MAJOR spoilers so here’s my recommendation for those of you who are wondering whether or not to watch this: The story is has a very strong start and great acting, but it is not a serious watch. It’s a good thing to play in the background when you’re studying or something. The story is pretty disappointing but you’ll have a good laugh, and the chemistry is very strong. Hope that helped. You can continue to read at your discretion.My Girlfriend Is An Alien deals with a very creative, unique concept. An alien who’s attracted to hormones meets a man who can’t remember females after huge storms. At first, this drama was amazing. It was fluffy, sweet, and full of interesting characters. Xiaoqi was so adorably shameless, Fang Leng had such a romantic heart, Fang Lie’s friendship with Xiaoqi was so endearing, and even Jiang Xue was kind of intriguing. The first half of the story set me up with really high expectations.
However! (Messy writing and spoilers here)
After the second rainfall, things start to go downhill. Suddenly, Fang Leng becomes a completely different person, and all four of the main leads start to undergo changes that make them become really annoying. Xiaoqi’s obsession with her annunciator causes her to use and ignore Fang Leng, who clearly cares about her so much. Toward the end, even after reciprocating his feelings, she still acts so selfishly without ever thinking about him. I get that she’s an alien, but it’s not a strong enough excuse for how she acted. Fang Leng, right after losing his memory, treats everybody like dirt (this I can kind of understand, but still). Fang Lie falls in love with Xiaoqi, which was one of the biggest disappointments of the drama, and Jiang Xue gets scarily clingy to Fang Leng despite him telling her on multiple occasions that he is not interested, which is honestly so many levels of creepy. All of these changes in the characters made it really hard to continue.
Yet I still wanted to finish the drama, so I ended up watching ep 20 and on at 2x the speed while doing other things.
After finishing the drama, I can see why it has such high ratings, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I can safely say that while it got dull and boring toward the end, the actors and actresses played their parts really well. The acting was by far the best part of the show. All of the actors played their parts so convincingly, especially Hsu Thassapak. The side characters were also all very sweet (and less problematic, except Allen of course), and I liked them so much. Assistant Han and Doctor Zhang were some of the best sidekicks, and Chai jie was such a quirky character. And even though Xiao Bu’s advice was kinda iffy, he was pretty cute too.
As for rewatch value, I don’t know. I might come visit a few episodes of this drama again, but I don’t think that will be in the near future.

This my first time watched Chinese Drama and I really loved it.The Story of this Drama is Amazing and I really loved how they made a happy ending
I loved two Main Characters and their acting is outstanding
Music is very good but when you watch Drama you don't care about Music
I really didn't like first Episode Special effects because it looks cheap
Overall (9/10) If you love Drama with Comedy and Romance you gonna love this Drama. I heard they gonna make Season 2 Can't Wait to See it.

alway there fir her in any problm and she also was there for him in any situation and when they where together in hotel before he forget her that was my fav part when he forget her i cried so much ????? but i was angry at jiang xue how dare she delete memory of xiaoqi than also fang leng remember the love for xiaoqi i was so happy when they were together but the end was emotional fang leng wait two years for xiaoqi ????????? and i hope there will be season 2

Worth Watching
This drama introduced me to the world of chinese dramas. I was asked by my friend to watch this drama. I was not interested at first. When I reached half of the first episode, I started getting into the drama. When I reached the last five episodes, I really didn't want this drama to end. The chemistry between the leads is so good. The story never makes you feel bored. I also rewatched the drama twice. It's worth watching. I really love all the characters. Xaoqi is damn cute and fang leng is damn handsome. Fang Lie is so adorable. Miss Chai is so funny . Even Han Zhuli is fun. Ofcourse there are negative characters like Fang Leng's step mother, her brother and Jiang Xue, the love rival. I think the actors did their roles really well. The happy ending is just perfect. I wonder whats up for season 2Was this review helpful to you?

Wow.. its my favorite drama..Awesome drama to be watched. I have watched it fr numerous time but im not bored yet, still love to watch the drama once again. The way the story revloves between lead male nd female was good. Xiao qi's innocence of acting made the entire drama loveable. The tortoise character was ought to be mentioned here. The role of leng was perfect till the very last end.The alien story creates a curiosity tat makes to watch sequence without break.I go with 10 out 10 for this drama. The storyline itself is absurd so this is the type of drama you shouldn't take ? seriously but having said that, they made the story truly beautiful. They have all my favorites genre in one drama. Comedy, love, love triangle, brotherhood. The female and male lead are both apple candy! Xiao7 is very adorable and pretty! Her love for men hormones just crack me up everytime. The first half was so funny, i was laughing all the way. My first impression towards the male lead was so so but definitely grows over the time. His perfectly aligned teeth makes his smile so dashing! Very good actor, when he smile, I can actually feel he is really in love and his tearful goodbye was so heart wrenching. ??What I also like about this movie is the romance part doesn't take forever to start like all other drama, I think from the first 4 eps, I have already seen a lot of CP romantic scenes which i absolutely adore. Their chemistry is so amazing too! My only complaint is the female lead kissing can be better (the last scene is definitely better). I cant really remember the ost being good which is probably what is also lacking.
Overall still a very good light romance drama. Definitely recommending people to give this one a go.

Adorable alien actress with the purest heart and looks and most handsome ceo thats the sweetest and protective to her.Must watch this show! Super deep emotions and heart wrenching story.
Many many obstacles that just dont know when to stop and that will probably frustrate viewers however it all works out in the end cause they are strong and their love even stronger.
The relationship between the few of them is one of the best and all ends up well.
Spoiler:
Theres no marriage scene / accepted by parents but ultimately both parents gave up interfering. Dad allowed her to meet him for one last time despite knowing he still remembers her means he already accepted the fact his son wont give up and simply let him do what he wants.
Conclusion. It makes ur heart skip many beats, let ur tears automatically flow and definitely a show to rewatch

Should Be Watched by the Drama Lovers!
It was the First Drama, I saw and it's been a long time too. I saw it in 2020 in the lockdown. I just loved it and it also inspired me into watching more c-dramas!This should be watched by everyone! This is fictional but yet lovable and looks so affectionate.... It just made me cry a multiple Times!
This can be re-watched too.... I saw it more than 4 times.... And still now I watch it's clips!
The Music in this drama is just awesome... it can make you feel your soul.... and it is also emotional as well as fun!
In This Drama we usually find love, care, mystery and more!

PS. Here I am again, having my major second lead syndrome. But okay, the main lead was also good so I think Xiao Chu deserves him.
I am just having difficulty sometimes on distinguishing Fang Leng and Fang Lei. Both have the same pronunciation hahahaha. It was already on the 20th episode wherein I have already know perfectly who Fang Leng and Fang Lei is ❤️
But really, I love the cast!!!

I just give 10/10 score for this drama. It’s not because this movie is perfect, But I enjoyed it so much.The story itself is so light. But It’s totally not makes me boring. And one more thing it’s because of FangLeng. Omg, I love him so much... His acting can makes my heart fluttering and I smile a lot during the drama! And the most important thing, the Female Lead (FL) will not annoyed you with her acting. Most of the drama I watch the FL is so annoyed, try to acting cute, innocent, but ends up it’s annoyed so much.
If you want to watch this drama, make sure to not think so complicated. No need to think alien must be very hi-tech or what. Just enjoy the drama!
