Worst Cliff Hanger Ever

Initially, I had very high expectation from this drama but boy, I was disappointed so badly. There was literally no character development and all I enjoyed was the process of finding the murderer. The bromance was like not upto the level and the same goes for the romance part. The romance between the leads made me feel disgusted as it started due to a typical scene of saving the damsel in distress as the male lead supported the female lead while no one else was willing to. The plot was like the worst and after solving every case, the male lead literally says the same dialogue. They clearly expects us to connect with the characters but that does not happen and more importantly, the story ends with a cliff hanger and not just any cliffhanger, they actually leave story to the same position as where it started and hence, to me the drama was like a waste of time.

To me, the cast seemed ok and not exceptionally well as the whole plot was messed up the cast did not stand out as extraordinary

The OST were not too bad but the music did not match well with the scenes and sorry to say, out of all the OST, only one caught my attention

I am never planning to watch it again as only the mystery seemed interesting to me but after getting all the fact about the murder in the first time, second time would seem rather boring.

Overated Drama, Not Worth It

From the very beginning till the very end, I literally had no expectation from this drama. The whole plot was mostly revolving around politics and revenge. The visual effects were by far the worst I have ever seen in asian drama and the crazy fighting scene where the male lead alone can beat 100 other people single-handedly with a background music being played in the background made me feel disgusted as those scene clearly showed that they were fake. More importantly, the characters were too formal amongst each other and there was no CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Forget excitement, I felt nothing while watching this drama and to me, it felt like I was completing a task. The plot was not exactly complicated but out of the track and extremely boring and the visual effects made things worse. The humour was also something that made me want to get done with this drama as fast as I could. In short, I did not enjoy it at all and do not recommend it for others to watch as nothing was good about it except the one OST which was catchy and caught my attention.

Firstly, I am gonna say that this is the second korean drama that at I have watched in my life and trust me, I am very disappointed. After watching the first episode, I could already guess what goes on in the whole series and the stoyline was too slow. There were many scenes that were not related to story but I could not get the homour of this drama ( maybe because I am not used to it) but definitely I hated the plot. Although I did like the characters , the development was clearly missing. The only person who developed in the whole drama was the female lead. To me, this drama clearly seems to be over rated and it is nothing out of extraordinary

The cast seemed okay to me and they were able to portray the characters in am excellent manner but I think that the female lead seemed fake or maybe it is the character itself who behaves that way.

The music on the other hand was extraordinary for me. Some music was well matched with the scenes and were able to create a special affect together but it was not perfect for all cases. However, the OST alone are awesome for me.

Rewatching this drama to me will be like walking through hell. Watching it once, was a big step for me because the drama was extremely boring and I am pretty sure that I will be dead while watching it again.

This represents the story of every Asian kid

Let me start by saying that I could relate to this drama so much that after watching certain episodes I was crying, because the drama made me realize that I was sick and tired of the way I was living my life. They have managed to touch points related to childhood depression, suicide, pressure while studying and many other stuff but what actually caught my attention was the friendship; friendship not only between school classmates but your own family, your parents. The drama started off by showing everyone's lifestyle and how they were all flawed but at the end, although they were still not a perfect family, they managed to realise their mistakes and make amends

This drama shows the true value of friendship which actually is the basic of every relationship but the most important one is the friendship between parents and their children. Parents would never be able to give their students proper upbringing without actually understanding their children and accepting the fact that their happiness is not the end of the world cause even children as small as 3 or 4 have their own mentality and dreams; and with friendship some trust and love. For most asian family, parents have the final say while they do not care what the children are thinking because apparently they are too "immature" to understand the world. They go on lecturing the kids all day every day without even understanding what the kids are going through and sometimes there are physical abuses. For many cases, they vent out their anger on the kids and overprotect them to such a point that the kids can't even breathe. Maybe all these cannot be blamed just on the parents cause they are actually going through a lot of trouble but the very least they can do is be considerate towards the children, not just spend their fortune for some sort of major the child does not even like. All these sort of things are shown in the drama and this mostly revolves around the drama and mental health of the family members.

While all those points made the drama fabulous, the pacing was rather abrupt and in many cases, their were many scenes that seemed unnecessary and I would say that although they were fillers, those scenes actually helped the viewers to get a better understanding of the characters and their personality but well they overdid it sometimes. Their were not many OSTs, just one or two I guess and they were not very good. The story was extremely good but its just that they used too many episodes to deliver a simple message and I hate the fact that all those family did not get equal screen time. One out of those 3 families was like near to insignificant in the storyline and the adopted kid did not have any other plot except for increasing financial pressure in the family but I did like his acting and character and I guess he was meant to be that way, the near to perfect type, but still something feels amiss.

Lastly, a 7.5 is not a bad rating for me, its just I have seen better dramas and maybe it has something to do with my biased opinion against this genre plus it did not have enough tissue rate for me.

Everything Depends Upon Fate

As every other reviews state, the story was rather simple but I would not call it a cliched one. This drama was meant to be the fluffy kind where audiences get the warm fuzzy feeling with little to no tissue rate and I would say that this is not meant for everyone. For one, it's too smooth with the fate card being played at least 10 times; it could be considered that the male couples met each other due to the so-called "fate"

There were a lot of things that I did not like when I finished watching this show but the warmth from it was still in my heart, making me feel like this is what an ideal relationship would be in fairy tales where the lead couples were perfect at everything they did. Even the relationship was meant to set an example for others and yet again, they made the male lead the almighty perfectionist whereas the Female lead was portrayed as rather plain but not in a typical way though. Plus, I would definitely not believe that a celebrity's life could be that simple where they could roam around in the streets with their boyfriend without anyone even noticing and some of the scenes were rather ridiculous but the pacing of the story was an average sort.
They definitely wanted to add layers in the story but failed.

The first thing that I loved was the amazing costumes and the awesome use of lighting in the set. The female lead being a singer, her costumes were like the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in dramas (other than certain Chinese males leads of course) and the costumes suited her really well and added a plus point to that fairy tale setting. Moreover, the OST's in this show was stunning and with this being a show revolving around singing, I believe that they were portrayed that nicely. There were scenes where I got goosebumps after hearing Liang Chen singing, it was that good. And on the plus note, there were no such villains ruining the life of the characters. Ahhaa! Who would not want this sort of life?

However, I prefer realistic dramas and even till the last episode, I had hope for this show. It's weird how I liked the simplistic part of the show and also hated it for being that way. Other than the warmy fuzz and admiration for the female lead who faced everything headstrong, this drama did not manage to give me any other feeling but there many details that I liked about this and would recommend it to anyone who is into a typical romantic story with great chemistry.

Heart Fluttering Cliche

Let me start by saying that this is the first Chinese drama out of so many where the cross-dressing seems quite reasonable and for once the girl looked weird when she dressed like one. Every episode for me was a cliff hanger and although the pace of the story was extremely slow, I did not feel bored at all.

I started watching this show without any sort of expectations and god I was so not disappointed. I do agree that there is little to no character development out there plus the story's out of the world sort of thing but that's the very reason I like it cause although we know that fairy tales never come true we still do watch them. This drama definitely had its flaws but the actors did justice to it. The romance in it was slow burned and the story had lots of ups and downs but they were again not properly portrayed. In conclusion, I believe that this drama was meant to be the fluffy type without so many emotional roller coaster and they managed to convey the messages that they wanted to. Plus, I fell in love with the OSTs.

It's just about people falling in love and chasing their dreams and the storyline was just so so but I will definitely say that my heartbeat went faster every time I watched this and I just couldn't stop smiling even when there were emotional scenes(which is definitely not a good thing).

And I must mention that I fell in love with Darren Chen and Sabrina Chen after watching this. All this drama has to offer is the great chemistry between those two leads, the amazing friendship and the OST, a special mention for that. XD

Uncessary melodrama and fillers

Initially, this drama had such high potential but it all went to waste. I do get the fact that they wanted to attempt something different but it backfired. To me, the story seemed to be a typical and predictable chinese drama with overbearing CEO at the beginning with amnesia as usual but even after that, I wanted to have a try at it maybe cause I wanted a taste of that amazing chemistry and romance between the characters but I was disappointed so badly. The male leads not only lacked chemistry but the plot was also not well designed and to make things worse, there were more scenes about supporting role rather than the male role. The beginning starts with the main leads fighting as typical of a Love-Hate relationship but something seemed off during the process and I could not connect at all with the characters. I personally did not enjoy the character development and not to mention the romance. To me, the whole story was too cheesy and I did not get any emotion from this. It was more like completing a task for me. This drama mostly focuses on the melodrama in between the families and don't get me started on the mystery. The ending was too rushed and I believe that some very important was missing from the romance part as well.

This drama was certainly not terrible just that was the series of events were too predictable and did not manage to excite me. The filler parts ruined the whole pace of the plot and the intense melodrama and unnecessary humour here and there further ruined it for me. I would definitely not rewatch it again but I don't regret watching it

The Perfect Composition Of Drama, Friendship And Love

The plot revolves around the love story between and alien and a rich, hot CEO. This drama had the perfect mixture of love-hate composition and there were not too many misunderstandings. Although both the male and female lead attempted to show off that they were strong, deep down, they were both alone until they met each other. Another good thing about this drama was that they did not pay much attention to the facts and made it too fancy and fantasy type. The journey towards their love and their constant denial made this drama more down to earth. This drama was mostly about fluffiness and cuteness as every time there was a scene revolving around saving the damsel in distress, they nailed it as it was not too extreme. The fact that the female lead Xiaoqi was also powerful and tried her best to protect Feng Leng also touched my heart as they contributed equally in their relationship; although some Xiaoqi seemed too selfish and silly but come on, what more can we expect from an alien ? The character development was lit and every character's own personality and perspective made this drama more fun. Although, there were many loopholes and some things were not cleared, keeping them in the dark made it more sophisticated as they kept the fact that some things cannot be explained in their head while making this story

The acting and cast were almost perfect and they managed to bring out the details out of the written characters. The chemistry between the male and female lead would not have been possible without such awesome cast. Wang Peng managed to portray Xiaoqi in the most perfect way possible and her cuteness and stupidity was what made this drama more enjoyable. Everytime she smiles, her uneven teeth makes it seem even cuter and their are legit bubbles in my heart
The hotness of the male lead on the other had is on a different level. Everything he does makes him seem so perfect.

The music, however, was not up to the level. It was not catchy and although they were played, They seemed invisible to me. After paying serious attention and listening to it for quiet some time made me like it but it was not something exceptional or out of the box.

The chemistry, romance and cuteness makes this drama worth rewatching but after watching it once or twice all that is left is the fluffiness which I am easily bored of. I would gladly watch it twice but not for the plot instead because of the great portray of the characters and the romance between the male and female lead are worth watching again a second time which lemme be clear is like the whole drama as their are no secondary leads, but I would watch the cute parts of the drama only. Maybe after a month or two, when all the details are out of my head, I might be able to rewatch it again with sincerity.

By reading the plot summary, I thought that the ending would be too obvious with the male lead winning the world championship but the journey towards that goal did not disappoint me at all. The characters all had their unique personality, each undergoing through their own tough phase while chasing their dream and developing accordingly.
The plot was neither too extreme nor too fluffy and had the perfect combination of both. By extreme, I meant that although there were plots regarding backstabbing, they knew exactly when to stop. the development of each character while facing the difficulties won my heart. Ji Xiang Kong's strong and brave personality is worth mention in this case as in the whole drama, he never wavered, even if it is during following his dream or chasing the girl he likes and he always kept them his personal affairs separated during chasing his dreams. Pei Xi, Ah Xuan and all the other characters also had a very important position in this drama and without them, the plot would have been incomplete. The bromance and romance revolving around the characters were spectacular but I can't talk much about it without spilling spoilers. Although the ending was predictable, the journey towards that ending was worth it and in face, even the ending actually won my heart

When it comes to cast, I believe that all the cast were well selected and they all managed to bring out the characters to life. In other words, they managed to portray the characters perfectly.

While most of the viewers are here after watching Untamed, I actually watched this first and than paved my way towards the best drama of all time because of the actor Wang Yibo who was casted as the male lead here. in short, watching this drama was the best decision I ever made and I am glad I watched if before he Untamed.

This drama had some of the best music and OST that I ever heard. the music were very well suited with the scenes and every time I listen to the OSTs, I get lost in the amazing scenes of this drama. The title song of this drama, sung by Wang Yibo, The Most Burning Adventure, is worth a mention here

Rewatching drama regularly on the other hand is a torture for me. After knowing the story once and watching it again is not meant for me a s I know exactly what is gonna happen and even the journey seems boring to me. However, given the quality of this drama, I still manage to rewatch it every 3 months after forgetting all the tiny details in the meantime as no matter how many times I watch it, all the feeling that I felt in the first time comes rushing back again and watching it makes me excited every time. More like I start to miss the characters and this drama
