Im not here because of BL thingy. Im here because of the title “Hotel Stars”. I am expecting it to be more on reality of what is happening in hotel industry. The story plot is not realistic. Although, competition is always part of our lives. But this is not the real situation. As they are competing for the internship award and the 10 students are from different universities in Bangkok, the hotel should be 5 star to be more realistic. TRASH AND BL CLICKBAIT!!
TRASH! TRASH! TRASH! I HATE THIS SERIES. I used to have a high expectation on this series but to think that the director is using 2Moons cast as a clickbait really hurts me. WHERE IS COPTER X KIM BL MOMENT?! WHERE?! WHERE?!! IN MY ASS? CHECKED. NOT THERE! All they did is slight bromance and that's it. Like the heck? The trailer was so PROMISING! I don't even want to talk about Tee X Tae BL moment. ITS ALL BROMANCE! No BL at all. I am so disappointed. I feel like being cheated on. Tee X Tae shows such a good relationship in this series and they could leave it there. HOWEVER! When they decided Tee's character ( Akk) to kiss a fucking girl... I- I am crying. I was expecting BL and they hit me with hetero. What is this?! I appreciate that the story shows how Hotel Management industry works but it's bullshit. How in the hell do you expect an intern to know how to housekeeping immediately. They didn't even show a short demo even though the interns are from Hotel management industry, the head of department have to show them how it's done. I know this because i am a graduated student of Hotel Management.Oh god. Tee's kissing scene with a girl is like the director throwing acid into my eyes. I hate it. There's only one couple in the series but i still couldn't feel the sexual tension between them. I try to ignore the bad review for this series but they are right. This series are basically shit. I thought watching this series could lead me to the closure that i need from 2 Moons since they decided to change the cast ( WHICH IS A VERY VERY BAD DECISION ) but boy, I did the biggest mistake in my life. P'Kim is being himself to be honest and there's not much bromance scene too between P'Copter and P'Kim. OH.MY.GOD. Bad series of the year! This series could be on my list of Bad BL Series that includes What The Duck as well.
OVERALL: Don't watch it. It's trashy. Total disappointment. A click bait so people watch the series and wait for BL but guess what? THERE'S NO BL!!

First episode introduces us to everyone. There are some "pretty boys" that look almost korean. One boy I remember from '2 Moons'. One boy I remember from 'So Wayree' I just dropped (which is probably why I still remember him:) They all wear the hotel uniforms that look very much like school uniforms but the group doesn't look like the same class year: some boys look teenage, some in their thirties. There are 2 girls in the group, each dutifully representing one female stereotype. As for the training teachers, the head chef doesn't look mature enough. The head housekeeper DOES look like a chef, but not as someone doing labour work. The head receptionist is someone with boobs, hair and makeup, but you can tell it's a man, actually. To say all this in 1 clear sentence: From my watcher of dramas point of view - no matter the "sb5" thing (which someone explained to me in the comments) - the cast is pretty much a disaster.
We also can see the hotel reception. It doesn't look it is a 5 star hotel. Which is another letdown...
Next episodes, I haven't developed interest in any of the characters. I find some of them VERY annoying, though. An EXTREMELY adorable romance line must start SOON or I'm not sure how many more episodes I am going to withstand.
Epi 4: Nothing as such as likeable romance line and nothing as such as ANY story line has begun (instead, we watch things like one of the workers talking about ghost haunting their PREVIOUS place of work). So, I'm (not) sorry. The cast is either grossly unsuited to their roles, unattractive, or at least wearing moron haircut (their heads remind me of a giant mushrooms) so I'm afraid I won't watch any of these "stars" for 8 more episodes (thanks but no thanks).
