A quick summary:
In my opinion, this 16 hours drama explores about relationships.
This drama shows us what a beautiful relationship looks like, and the feelings of kindness and trust. How caring for each other and kindness is always the right choice. How selflessness wins big time. This drama is a really beautiful take on the impact of trauma to a person, especially if the trauma itself involves the one closest to that person. This drama is looking at how extremism, without heart, is the thing that ruin everything.

-the next part is more of my take on the drama than a review-

A really beautiful wrap up of such suspenseful drama. I am going to miss Cha Young Jin, Eun Ho, Sun Woo, the students, and the whole police squad. I’m going to miss everyone except the villains to be honest. Well, I’d miss the Baek Sang Ho’s squad too, at least they were likable when they didn’t plan to kill anyone. The dynamic and chemistry of the characters and the whole casts are quite unique. The homicide team sometimes felt like they feel awkward with each other. Sometimes, I sense possible romantic relationships between them too, even the most impossible one (CYJ and The Young Male Police). The camaraderie wasn’t really solid or maybe it was just not really explored.

Talking about ships and love interest, I big time really want CYJ and LSW to get married ASAP. LSW seemed to be interested in her. Sometimes, I cannot help but blush and squeal like a teenage girl when they are interacting. I know, I know, this probably is just my delusional mind. But boy, if it happens that would be GREAT.
The villains here are so cruel, immoral, but lonely at the same time. Their inner turmoil could be felt, and their twistedness was so apparent. They are the definition of ‘people of the same kind flocks together.’ *I don’t know the exact saying, sorry*.

And what really hurt was when BSH said that basically the one that claimed to save him, whipped him up with a smile on his face, while the one that abandoned him, did so with tears on her face. That is like the summary of his life, isn’t it? But still, in my opinion, one choose what one want to be.

Eun Ho is such a weird, but good kid. And I like him! He and LSW sometimes felt like the same person, goodness. Our 3 kind main characters are so beautiful in their mannerism. And a lot of the relationships in this drama felt so wholesome and kind that I really want to have one.

The writing is really neat. Even though I don’t appreciate when they showed off that ‘religion’ so much, the other aspects of the story is great. But I have to say, what really shined here is the relationship.

The acting is amazing here. Every main character, the good one and the villainous one was portrayed amazingly well. I decided to watch this because of CYJ, but most of the casts have successfully made me look forward to their next project, especially the young actors! BSH is really amazing actor too.

SBS! Since not too long ago, I’ve noticed that SBS’ choice of music and production value is really good. I mean like, really good. I watched ‘Hot Stove League’, and similar with this one, every little sound is so beautiful and befitting. I must exclude that choir parts though, it is only befitting. Also, I’ve gotten fond of SBS’ 3 part act in a drama. If you noticed this, SBS’ drama has 2 to 3 acts in an episode, like an opera. So it was really nice to get a break when the scene becomes really intense and I am on the edge of my seat. I love that part.

I would rewatch this for the good relationships between each characters, and maybe skip the killing and curch part haha! Rewatching drama is not really my thing anyway. I don’t think there is any puzzle left about the main case, but I think rewatching the whole think would be really nice to grasp the whole idea of this complicated thing.

Evenly-paced thriller with just the right amount of twists and an exceptionally strong female lead!

The best part of this drama is the relationship between Youngjin and Eunho like they both made me cry my eyes out??? I didn't get half of the events involving the church INCLUDING the whole purpose of the "stigmata" killing but honestly, the structuring of the whole drama can make up for it. The character development of the kids throughout made me so happy!!!

I'm kinda confused why they didn't show us a scene of revelation of Eunho's relationship with Chairman Yun to his wife? Also, how did the numbers in the New Life Gospel help decode Sangho's sins? I guess we'll never know? Either way, it's definitely rewatchable for me!

p.s will be keeping an eye on Ahn Jiho's (Eunho) future works because I found out we have the same birthdays, just one year apart HAHA!
ALSO THE ALL OF US ARE DEAD GANG WITH CHANYOUNG AND JIHO

For me, this is a contender for the best drama of 2020.

If you think this drama is a normal mystery crime drama then you are mistaken. While the story is not super original by any means but the way the characters interact with each other and how they feel about each other is what makes this drama so good. To see all the character grow and becoming better people is truly an enjoyment to watch. All the characters you dislike in the beginning changes for the better as the story progress. The chemistry between Cha Young Jin and Ko Eun Ho is amazing, every scene with the two fills a warmth in your stomach. The bad guy is one of the most interesting villains I've come across in dramas. He feels very authentic and real.

The acting is amazing. The actors becomes the characters and are able to deliver an incredible performance. Even the youngsters that hasn't a lot of acting experience from what I can see are delivering a stellar performance. Kim Seo Hyung what a great choice for the main role. It's really nice seeing a woman kicking serious butt in dramas. Normally, even though they are tough or strong, they always turn into some sort of damsel in distress and that can annoy me quite a bit but not here. Here she's a proper badass that can crack a serious punch if needed and that's a breath of fresh air. ^^

Even though I've said the story thrives with it characters rather than the mystery crime aspect, the story itself is really good. It isn't obvious who has done what and even when you are sure about some thing, there is still a little bit of doubt. It makes you stay on you toes and that is what makes a crime drama great.

The OST in this drama is one of the best I've ever heard. They enhance every scene and I'm gonna listen on them for a long time.

Even though the mystery in this drama is gone after you'ce watched it, it's not what makes this drama good. It's the characters and the way they interact. That't why this drama has a higher rewatch value then what I would give other mystery dramas.

Do you like crime dramas? Watch this. You don't like crime dramas? I would say give this a try, it might surprise you ^^

Ahhh~ Where to start? I just finished the drama a few minutes ago and I have so many feelings. 'Nobody Knows' is one of the best dramas I’ve watched in my life. All I have are good things to say about this drama and that should already be a reason to start watching it (to those who haven’t).

You start watching drama with an anticipation because the plot looked interesting enough and then slowly, one episode after another, that anticipation NEVER dies! That’s something you rarely see in Kdramas, especially crime ones (at least for me). As I watched episode after episode, I had SO MANY questions and all sorts of scenarios kept popping in my head. Some were close to what I predicted, but many threw me off completely. As the drama title says, “nobody knows” (the viewers) what’s going on and we start asking so many questions but, let me tell you this, ALL those questions get answered. Another thing that I don’t see often in Kdramas, are the dramas’ inability to answer all the audiences’ questions; their failure in “tying up loose ends”. 'Nobody Knows' did that, and MORE.

I loved the relationships between the various characters, most especially between the high school trio (EunHo-MinSung-DongMyung). I loved how every one of the actors and actresses portrayed their characters exceptionally well, and I loved how they each had a story that pulled me in and made tears fall. I loved how I learned so many meaningful things that was worthwhile and full of weight. I loved all the OSTs of the drama, and I loved the way the story began and ended.

I loved every single thing about 'Nobody Knows', except for one thing.

I hate how the drama is now finished and I can’t keep watching it.

Note, my rewatch value for this drama is kinda low because honestly, just like the drama's name, the true beauty of 'Nobody Knows' is the fact that nobody knows what is happening and what to expect. The thrill comes from not knowing anything and always anticipating what's to come next. However, I would watch it again for the heartwarming moments and the relationship between the three kids. Their friendship was so pleasing to watch.

I would like to say, thank you to the director, screenwriter, actors and actresses for creating such a beautiful and breathtaking masterpiece.

I completely recommend this drama. Out of all of the dramas I've seen this is surely one of the best.

It's not only the mystery, the story, the relationships, is everything that it has. A good mystery story is nothing if the relationships iy portaits and those it builds aren't real, but this drama has the best ones. One of the things I like is how it is well conected, everything has a reason, and even the things you don't completely know, you know you know what you needed to know; it's a drama that completes you.

I really loved the relationships, the pure, beautiful frienships and the characters developement. Of course, Cha Youngjin and Ko Eunho relationship is my favourite, how can't it not be? It is what a real friendship is, it's love and trust to each other. But all the friendships in this drama felt needed, there wasn't any that felt wrong, the kids, the adults, every relationship was well shown.

Something that I also loved was how the book was a constant in the drama, and well used through it. It was a good chosen book and the meaning it had was really well used.

Lastly, I need to applaud the cast: Kim Seohyung, Ahn Jiho, Park Hoon, Ryu Deokhwan, Yoon Chayoung, Min Jinwoong and every single actor and actress in this drama made a perfect job portrying their characters and giving life to them. This is a drama I would never doubt to recommend, and I hope it becomes a valued drama that Everybody Knows.

Found this certainly because of the cast and the genre. However, glad i didn’t stop watching it after the 1st episode cause it seems confusing on what’s the focus actually. But everything started to get better in the next episodes and could keep me glued to my seat wondering what will happen next. And here I am, finished it in 3days and got to say that this is the best far in 2020.
Hands down to the writer, director and casts who made it so interesting and mysterious, especially the leads.
If you are a detective crime drama enthusiast you should check this out.

The FL owns this drama

This FL consumed the screen. I know this is a strange word to describe a person, but she is such a full-bodied character. When she speaks you can tell she's truly thought it through. Her words and actions have an indescribable weight to them.

A bit off-topic: Not gonna lie; I simped so hard for her. The hair, the boots, the intelligence, the strong will . . . She was just . . . everything.

The "grand scheme" of the drama was undeniably over the top. But, at the same, it could be quite grounded.

The villains were this drama's weakest point. Too often they were cartoonish and made ridiculous decisions that were to their own detriment. Its strongest point was its characters and their motivations/emotions (tagged along to that is the amazing acting, of course). What made me put off finishing the last two episodes for about a month was my desire to wait until I had the proper amount of time to savor the richness of the characters. Seeing the wide range of emotions that would flit across someone's face within seconds left me in awe.

Would I recommend this drama? Definitely! I would just tell you to keep your expectations moderate and not to binge-watch it.

Simple yet refreshing, staying away from some well known cliches and tropes we often see in Korean crime shows. Surprisingly, the strength of the drama lies not in the thrilling plot, but rather the heartwarming connections and relationships the characters form with each other.

Not gonna lie, I did struggle a bit watching the first few episodes. It was not bad, it just did not hold my attention. You know how some shows start with amazing first few episodes and then fall into a writing dark hole and misery? Nobody Knows is a rare case of the opposite - starts just fine and only gets better with every episode.

What to love? The variety of friendships and partnerships formed between the characters. The really gradual, but undeniable character developments that are not exaggerated. Strong and empathic female lead, who charmed me with her badassery and emotional maturity. Male lead that overcomes his flaws and trauma and learns how to care about others again. Teens that seem more mature than adults in their approach to life, hardships, unjust behavior and learning from your own mistakes. It’s rare to see a crime drama where the characters are the core of the story and the thing that will keep you glued to the screen.

Sadly, as much as I loved the writing of the protagonists, I cannot say I enjoyed the villains as much. Rather one dimensional and cliche. Sure, delivered some exciting scenes and carried the crime side of the show, but definitely did not present the same level of complexity and depth as the good guys. And with how disappointing that aspect was, the overall plot suffered too and it was especially evident in the last episode.

Luckily, everyone’s performance was stellar. From the older and more experienced cast to the teens and kids - solid acting with some nice nuances in delivery.

Production wise it was great. Loved the soundtrack, the tones and editing - all creating a coherent picture and style.

Overall, not exactly addicting and thrilling making you binge watch, but somehow making you curious to continue watching at your own pace.

Lives intertwined

I love the premise of the story had with how the past would define a person , relationship with parents and parental figures can define a person just as much as nature Vs nurture.

It was a slow paced drama with action but not a overtop thriller more of a suspense mix that could come off as very dragging.

I loved that I fingered out who was the real villain early on this wasn't your regular crime drama and I feel like they could easily do second season to maybe explore some more loose ends or even to continue a different case

A Chilling Crime Thriller

Oh man this show ... I am so glad I came across it. I watched it sometime ago but I decided to write a review cause it still remains in my mind.
I personally love crime thriller genre. 'Nobody Knows' is a fine collection to add to my list of best crime thriller works.
It's compelling and full of suspense from the get go. You are never bored throughout the show. Each episode leaves you wanting more, wanting to know the protagonist's next move against a psycho enemy. The suspense keeps you at the edge of the seat.
There is also melodrama and friendship displays in the show. Each character feels so raw and intriguing. Acting is brill on each actor's part. The drama is slow paced so you need some amount of patience but it's worth it. Action scenes are filmed perfectly good.
There are some serious social issues being tackled in the show. The storyline is heavy and there are a lot of triggers so be warned.
It's just so good I am in awe. My only concern is that it's very scary for me and I'm not easily scared so ... it's mind-blowing.
I've become a fan of Kim Seo Hyung and will be on the lookout for more of her works. Highly recommend this masterpiece.

This is a classy series. It may seem like an odd word to describe a crime-based genre, but for me, it is a fitting description. This one doesn't have the type of melodrama infusion that is sometimes typical (no intense cliffhangers at the end of each episode) but is instead, a steady captivation. Because of its pacing, it really hones in on the gradual evolution of the relationships, unfolding of linkages, and the peeling back of butterfly effect layers that were caused by a multitude of events.

At the same time, although there really isn't a glaring lull, the first half of the series was particularly prolonged and the flashbacks bordered excessive. I did find myself fast-forwarding every so often but not in the way where it deterred too much from the enjoyment. Instead of repeat flashbacks, providing more background on some of the supporting characters would have taken this up a notch.

Nevertheless, would recommend it for the days when you're in the right mood for its pacing.
