Another teen drama

I firstly thought should I watch this or not ..coz I didn't find it that attractive but when I watched the first 5 ep i really got addicted to it !! Must watch this drama guys coz it has that youth emotion !! The FL was cute and male lead was handsome ...I loved their chemistry ....they looked perfect , compared to skate into love I guess in this I really liked the acting of female lead ..Janice Wu also did it well ..but it didn't looked natural ! Here I was naturally delivered hehe everything aside ..must watch it guys if ur a teen or adult 😉

this is the best youth and sports drama i have ever seen......first of all i really enjoyed the bonding between lin xi chi and xu fang and the best part is that xu fang doesn't allow any other girl except lin xi chi and whenever lin xi chi's roommate try to talk with him , he avoided it.......the three couples had gone through many hardships but nothing can break their realationship......every couple has their own story.......and i really envy lin xi chi , xu fang is so loyal to her......in spite of going abroad for his training , xu fang doesn't forget about lin xi chi's safety.......xu fang is so sweet.......i want a boyfriend like him.......

Didn’t love some of it but man was the rest so beautiful

Edit: After finishing, I still don’t love the angst but those last episodes made the rest SO worth it. They are some of the most beautiful pieces of television I have ever seen.

I loved this show for the first seventeen episodes, but it got angsty just for the sake of being angsty at the end. I don’t mind the characters having difficulties as long as they make sense, but I hate manufactured difficulties.

The target panic fell a little flat for me as this seems like something he should have dealt with earlier in the drama. At the end, it just seems tacked to add unnecessary difficulty to the main leads, who had amazing chemistry by the way.

The timeline was also really futzed and weird. It seems to make a time jump that it barely acknowledges that then leads the viewer to having no clue how long the leads have been together. This proves very crucial the last few episodes.

I wish they would just write dramas with realistic circumstances that may create problems, just have shorter seasons, or wait until the end to put the leads together if they feel like the drama will be gone once they unite them. This drama would have been perfect at sixteen or seventeen episodes.

A cute drama with a Wonderful message

i really really loved the drama.. It was so cute and not like other dramas like a brunch of negative vibes with a group of villains.. It was very realistic..
Honestly i also liked the leads also.. Lead actress is so cute with her cheerful smile..and the lead actor was also very handsome.. Sometimes i got some vibes of "A Love So Beautiful " but it was unique and lovely from that..
Specially the friendship Between two leads made me fall for them.. Their acting was supred..
And also the ending was good enough.. As they showed in the 1st episode that it was gonna be a good ending so i was also happy..
I really enjoyed the last few minutes of last episode.. And Most importantly which i love most about this drama is they gave us a Important message Through the drama..
And it was also the definition of the tittle..

So I Think it was worth watching drama.. You should definitely watch it..

Best drama till now , highly recommended !

Loved this drama a lot !
Highly recommended to all !

Loved the proposal as everybody was present there like their families , friends and the cute little dog .

The quotes were really heart touching like :
1) Life is like archery , once a arrow is gone , it won't come back
2) I will the deserve the best of you when I will become the best of myself!

Actings were epic
1) I don't know why people hate Song Yiren , I loved her acting in this drama , I don't know about her acting in other dramas
2) Gala Zhang is an perfect actor seens when we were young , he was the reason for me to complete the drama , I don't ever doubt his acting
3)Both Ma and Gu Xin Yu did an absolute job in acting as second couple which were very supportive
4)FL's brother and FL's roommate were the coolest people .
5) Even though the coach was strict at starting but he was a perfect supporting coach
6) The family members were really lovable , FL's mother did a really good job in portraying a careless mom and wife .

Everybody in the drama did a great job , watch it ,u won't regret !

The ending was just perfect ! Loved it . Gonna miss them all .

Overall the drama would be one of my favourite till now !

There’s that, we all know that we at times, would be able to pick up one or two values/ life lessons in the dramas we watch. This drama too; talks about how one should pursue and never give up on their dream. I really likeD how each character developed themselves, grow up, going through up and downs be it in university or when they’ve graduated. The love between FF and CC was tested due to the adulting phase they had to go through, but it was really a much needed breakup for them to grow (but to me it’s not considered a breakup tbh).

I liked how they zoomed into the side characters as well, showing how life is; tough, but you will be able to overcome through perseverance and believe.

An awesome slice of life/romance/family drama to watch

Not worth your time

It was an uncomfortable watch because of the FL lack of range of acting-- she has 4 school dramas under her belt and she has acted ditto in each of them. Same clothes, same body language, same tomboyish character, same dialogue delivery, same expressions, even the clothes and hair style are the same. Either her range is so limited nobody offers her any different character, or she genuinely doesnt know how to interpret different characters.
Plus she looks under the legal age of consent which makes it a tad uncomfortable to watch the romance. Not worth your time at all

I don't know why.......D:

I typically love watching a good college based rom-com, but for some reason this drama did not end they way that I had anticipated. I loved the parts were the two main leads chased each other, wondered about their feelings for one another and played hilarious tricks on each other. However, when it came down to it, I felt that Xu Fang and Lin Xi Chi actually made such an awkward couple. I managed to "complete' this drama, but it was not without much fast forwarding. I enjoyed the skirting around each other more than the actually getting together part. Likely reasons for this:

1. Individually both are attractive, but as a COUPLE they didn't have much visual appeal in my opinion.
2. Instead of flowing into a relationship with ease they became cringey and looked uncomfortable together to my disappointment .
3. I think the drama played heavily into the "chase" part of their relationship that when they became official it was not as exciting.

I understand that the "awkward" relationship turn might have been a stylistic choice, that was made for the sake of realism, but I felt that it detracted from the drama. I wish they could have had a more best friend oriented romantic relationship comparable to what's seen in similar dramas like "Skate into love," or "To Fly With You." Both of which take place within a college setting and tackle the 'friends to couple' trope. Overall the beginning was better than the later parts for me, but it was still a decent watch.

-These are just my opinions, feel free to disagree. My thoughts were expressed with respect to the production and actors within the drama in mind, thank you.

An unexpected good watch

Firstly, I came here without any high expectation and only watched this to kill my time as there was nothing to watch back in January (after I dropped Sword and Fairy 6). I only find my time tonight to work on this review. So, this is a live adaptation based on 'Cream-Flavored Unrequited Love' by Zhu Yi who also writes Hidden Love, When I Fly Towards You, and First Frost.

The story is set in the college times of Lin Xichi (FL) and Xu Fang (ML). Both of them attend the same university but taking different majors. FL is a veterinary medicine majoring whereas ML enters the university with special admission due to him being an archer. The plot is a simple one, exploring the love life of the leads and how insecure they feel on the inside. You will expect all of the college drama tropes used here, so there's no surprise as this is a typical college drama. I love the bickering and banters of the main leads - also feel the superb chemistry and have butterflies in my stomach. (giggle... giggle...)

We have SML (Ye Shaowen) pursuing the FL and SFL (Xin Zhidan) doing the same to the ML. At first, they may come off toxic, but fortunately, the leads state that they only like each other and reject them outright. After getting rejected, they realize the truth and acknowledge and become supportive of their relationship. It solves pretty fast after 2 or 3 episodes - they're not annoying out of my hell, anyway.

Second couple (Jiang Zhengxu and Nie Yue) has a healthy relationship and support each other when one of them is in the darkest moment of his/her life. I'm moved by how Nie Yue defending Jiang Zhengxu from those debt collectors - it's just so, so heartwarming. Also like the way he proposes to Nie Yue before they graduate.

Third couple (Lin Xigeng and He Liyang) get off on the wrong foot when they first meet but slowly begin to attract each other. He's just so protective towards his girlfriend and his sister too. He's a good husband material. The girl is quite independent too, however after a motorbike crash, she will be a cripple, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to become a professional racer.

Annoying parents trope is played heavily if you notice the unstable relationship of the FL's dad and mom. I hate both of them and skip their scenes. Thank goodness, ML has more supportive parents and they immediately accept the FL without further ado.

This is one of the best college dramas I've ever seen even though the rating is kinda low in MDL. Happy watching and you can also check out Zhu Yi's other works (I will be waiting for First Frost - maybe until 2025 or longer than that TT).

Nahh.

It was good in the beginning but in between it got boring , i kinda felt like they dragged the drama. I thought of dropping the drama but once i start i like to finish and i was literally fast forwarding the last 10 episodes and still it was boring i was waiting for it to end, I reached to a point where i didn't even find the romantic scenes exciting . I was feeling sleepy while watching it. The 2nd couple were more cuter and better than the main couple. The 2nd lead idk why he was even there. Overall i would not recommend to watch this drama.

The type of love that lasts

While this drama does have a central couple, there are multiple characters who make this series the amazing series it is.

Maybe its because I just watched Professional Single (another cute drama with Song Yi Ren) but this is a story is the sweet romance that could have happened with her childhood friend if she didn't start dating the high school hunk. I found this drama to be bursting to the seems with sweet story lines between all the characters, which was lacking in professional singles

To start the main couple is Chi Chi and Fang Fang who grew up together from the age of 8 when they became neighbors. They were the best of friends who enjoyed pranking and daring each other all through school. It was one of these dares at the end of their high school year that leads to a fall out between them and they don't speak until they are in the same college months later. While their friendship becomes strong once again, Chi Chi begins to see Fang Fang in a different light and realizes that he had a crush on her for "centuries" >.< Their romance is one of sweet love that grew out of friendship and while they do hit a few obstacles it is due to their strong foundation of friendship that they are able to stay together even with distance between them.

Now the other characters are just as important in this series, Chi Chi's family is broken due to decisions that her parents made when she and her brother were little, something that not only hurt her then but when she learns the truth it only seems to reopen the wounds that never got to fully heal.

Chi Chi's absentee mother is one of the characters that was pivotal since it was due to that trauma that made her so scared to lose Fang Fang but he was also the one who gave her the security she needed since they were young and how they were able to grow together to build a strong, healthy relationship.

Her brother and father are sweet characters, and while you don't learn much about the father you learn how he impacted her life even when he knew he made mistakes and was at a loss at what to do.

Chi Chi's roommates are just as cute as any other rom com college roommates but they also made each character unique with actual personalities and story lines of their own.

I loved the introduction of the archery team who are a rowdy bunch who are more than just jocks and work hard to prove themselves against other teams who are seen as unbeatable.

This series takes place over years, and while it can be a bit hard to pinpoint how much time has passed sometimes, you can see that these friends all become a second family to Fang Fang and Chi Chi. And it is with this second family that they overcome the hardships of college and becoming the best versions of themselves.

If I had to criticize anything, I just wanted more normal days between fang fang and Chi Chi, I wanted to see them hanging out or on a date. While you do get some really amazing scenes, it did seem to be sparsely scattered. But that really picking at small things.

I am tired...

This was okay kind of for me...but as of the 6th ep, I am taking a break from this. Its just that at start I liked it when FL showed more interest in herself and worked on herself, but as of 6th, she just don't care of anything and start hanging out with archery team and doing your typical 'cute' things to make them laugh...like meh...I was just disappointed at point even though I would continue this but I don't like FL being needless nosy here and there.
I literally find it too boring when we see one FL with a whole bunch of male members, it kind of irritates me...why there needs to be only one female and with like 10 men? Atleast give 3-4 female...like seriously another school drama where there's a 'cute' FL doing 'cute' things to appease male characters...haish...they don't have that quality in their characters apart from doing 'cute' things for handsome men.
I am really looking forward for some change of norms in school drama with females playing other role than just doing cute things for never ending male characters...
