The perfect drama

Reading the synopsis, one would expect a fairytale ending where the leads end up happily ever after... but no! It left a realistic ending that is possible and not so drama-like. Although it is realistic, there are closures explained to the characters at the end which somehow makeup for the leads'.

The love story was not typical yet leaves a warm feeling in your heart. Everything from episode 1 to uncovering the back story was perfect. I never did fast forward through the 16 episodes. The emotions from the actors and actresses were perfect. Especially Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin! Whenever they cried, I feel like tearing up too. :')

It crashed into my heart too. You should watch this!!

BEST DRAMA EVER MADE!

Hand’s down, my absolute favorite drama of all time! The acting, the music, the storyline…all of it was absolutely perfect! The fact that the actors got married in real life was icing on the cake. They had me all the way in! I laughed. I cried…a lot. My heart raced. There’s nothing bad that I can say about it. Each episode was like it’s own movie and I never wanted it to end. The plot was so rich and well defined. I literally felt like I was in the story. This was one of the best dramas for me!

I reccomend!

The story was written very well, the characters especially female one was super well written. The male one idk he was a good actor but I couldn't connect with him much. He was serious and I dont know it was a little meh. But the second leads story was extremely beautiful they made me go through a rollercoaster of emotions. I could love and understand them better. The second lead girl was extremely strong and beautiful woman I was so happy with her character. The show was shot well. The humor was on point. But the music was not on par with how good this show is. Almost none of the osts sound good sadly. Still,I'd reccomend.

Some people compared it with goblin or say it's better, in my opinion, no. I'd say goblin was better in all aspects. Everything in goblin hits different. But yes,an amazing show!

A Must Watch- The New Iconic Drama!

At first, when I read the summary, I thought that the drama would be ridiculous and a waste of time to watch, but after watching the first episode, and getting addicted to the characters and the sweet storyline, I was literally shocked. Like, how could a drama draw you in so much, to the point where there was no going back? I found the direction, the acting, the music, everything was just so beautiful, so amazing that I fell in love with it immediately. I wasn't ever a huge fan of Hyunbin but after this drama and the amazing chemistry, and everything else, I absolutely fell face-first in love with CLOY and everything relating to CLOY. I actually didn't know of Son Ye-jin, but after masterfully taking on Yoon Se-ri's strong, yet delicate character who conveyed her (Se-ri's) emotions so well, I just started to feel more interested in Ye-jin! Overall, everything in this drama was more than I expected, and I love that this drama was a mix of sweet and sour, a mix of salty tears and small smiles!

Against all odds story of love two people who were on the opposite sides of the country and literally enemies from the day they were born. I love how the writer made the tragic love story light with relatable events and day to day chores. The depiction of the life in North Korea has been realistically portrayed with the clothes and accent of the people done on point. I have missed how Hyun Bin plays a role. He looks so cool on the outside but is very warm and loving on the inside. I like how honest the two protagonists are not only with each other but also with their respective families. They both have a no-bullshit attitude towards people and gives off what everyone deserves.

Indifferent

Hyun Bin is one of my favorite actors. He was so incredibly handsome and dashing in the drama but his character seemed a little dull compared to the other characters. I started this drama because of Captain Ri but stayed because of the supporting characters. They were my favorite part of the drama. From Company 5 to Dan's mom, they were the best characters in this drama.
The story itself was alright. The chemistry between the two leads was strong and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop.
I didn't love this drama nor do I hate it.

My First KDrama Ever. Loved it, and by the whole world.

This was recommended to me by friends, at the start of the CoVid19 self-quarantine (not lockdown yet). After having watched all the top rated U.S., U.K. Oz, Mexican, Spanish and other European series and waiting for the next season/s, I started to watch KDrama, for the first time ever, with this. And oh boy! Got me hooked at the first "annsaeyo"! Thoruoghly enjoyed this series, from storyline, acting, carefully chosen cast ensemble AND the original piano soundtrack!!! Phenomenal. Worldwide. Rewatch value? Beyond 10!

Must watch

Great show, finding your true love through adversity. Having your platoon love you so much they are willing to do anything for you. To figure out you had met years earlier and during your darkest moment save you, to once again your lives are brought on the same path and he doesn't just saves you, he become a larger part of your future. The friends and new values she learns about. The jacked stuff families will do for greed. And the wonderful ending where they could revisit the show since it was left open. So much could be done to make your viewers very happy in seeing season 2 hint hint. Want ideas, just ask we would all love to help out

I can't forget this drama and neither do you will

This is the best drama i've ever seen, i can claim that because it's been one week since i finish and i'm still crying when think i about it.
The story is amazing with no boring moments, an unexpected and subtle humor, a lot of lovely scenes and most of all with a pure and unforgettable love story. And I must say that bringing North Korea was a breath of fresh air, it brought another vision, another dimension and another culture which made everything a thousand times more interesting.
The main actors have so much chemistry that made me feel the emotions they were feeling; the soldiers (those who are subordinates of capitain Ri) bring to us courage, honest friendships and a lots of funny moments; with Seo Dan and Gu Seung‑joon discreetly arises a secondary love story that is as beautiful as the principal one (with a very sad ending tho, i think both deserved more).
In one hand i think that the end was powerful, sad as f*ck and very well represented but on other hand i don't think it was enough because see eatch other just once in a year is so painful and how is supposedly do they have children?? That are a lot of questions in my mind that this end can't respond.
However that's okay because the more important lesson i can take from here is the importance of taking care of those we love the most and although we can't be with them, their happiness and health is the most important thing for us to be able to be well.

With a lot of love and writting errors,
Rita ♡

Pros and Cons

As always, I'll write the pros and cons of this drama

Pros:
- South-north Korean theme is always interesting
- Rich of natural comedy (innocentness at its best)
- Shows the contrast between South and North Korean daily life and technology
- 2nd main roles show us more natural + realistic romance life, so you will be given 2 romance stories. Thus, the romance story will not be boring. (I love Seo Dan more than Seri anyway lol)
- Will always make you curious what will happen next

Cons:
- Romance scenes take some important plots
- It's more "romance drama" than "action drama" (Vagabond is still much better if you're looking for the action one)
- There are plot holes on episode 10 (why it's that easy to cross the border)
- Needs further research about how to do "people exchange" on the South-north border. (Isn't it supposed to be done at DMZ?)
- Not-that-necessary some support roles (Seri's hired gang/mafia).
- Love makes you dumb and can start the war, this ruins the end part of the drama. (How could Ri re-crossed the border in front of 2 countries' armed military just to hug Seri for the last time?)

...

the production was good, I can't complain .
I also say that the performance was incredible, it would be a sin if I complained.

I love the actors, I loved the characters.

Of course, not everything is perfect, I can't lie, but what a drama that doesn't have a single flaw.

So in conclusion, I recommend...

I say it's worth watching, maybe it's bad for some, but for me it was good.

This is just my opinion, you better watch it and have your own opinion.

I don't know what to say, because I think everyone has their own opinion.

The Best Cute Couple Takes Flight Amidst Turbulent Times

Sweet and Sour: A Love Story for the Ages

"Crash Landing on You" is a romantic Korean drama that has captured the hearts of viewers worldwide with its enchanting love story, engaging plot, and captivating performances. However, like any romance, it has its sweet moments and its share of sour notes.
The story revolves around Yoon Se-ri, a South Korean heiress and successful businesswoman, who finds herself accidentally landing in North Korea after a paragliding mishap. There, she meets Ri Jeong-hyeok, a stoic North Korean army officer. As they navigate their way through dangerous political landscapes and cultural differences, their blossoming romance defies borders and expectations.

Sweet Moments:
Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin): As the lead actress, Son Ye-jin delivers an outstanding performance that is both endearing and compelling. Her portrayal of Yoon Se-ri's transformation from a cold, ambitious businesswoman to a warm, loving partner is truly mesmerizing. Son Ye-jin’s charm and depth bring Se-ri to life, making her character relatable and lovable. Her chemistry with Hyun Bin’s character is undeniable, contributing to the series' magic.
Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin): Hyun Bin's performance as the principled and gentle-hearted North Korean officer is equally captivating. His subtle expressions and quiet strength complement Son Ye-jin’s vibrant portrayal, creating a beautiful balance between their characters.
The supporting cast, including Se-ri's North Korean village friends and Jeong-hyeok’s loyal comrades, add warmth and humor to the series. Their interactions with the lead couple provide depth and richness to the storyline.

Sour Notes:
Plot Pacing: At times, the plot can feel a bit slow, with certain episodes dragging out minor storylines. While the romance and character development are engaging, some viewers might find the pacing uneven, especially during the middle episodes.

Over-the-Top Elements: The drama occasionally leans into melodramatic territory, with over-the-top scenarios and coincidences that stretch believability. While these elements add to the charm for some, they can feel excessive and contrived to others.

Visual and Sound Design:
The series boasts beautiful cinematography, capturing the contrasting landscapes of South and North Korea with stunning visuals. The soundtrack, filled with emotional and memorable songs, enhances the romantic and dramatic moments, making the viewing experience more immersive.

"Crash Landing on You" is a delightful blend of romance, drama, and comedy, elevated by the exceptional performances of Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin. The series offers a sweet escape into a love story that transcends borders, despite its occasional sour notes in pacing and melodrama. For fans of romantic dramas, "Crash Landing on You" is a must-watch, showcasing the cutest couple who navigate their way through a tumultuous but unforgettable journey of love.
