I wasn't a huge fan of Im Ye Eun's love interest - he was too immature and it felt superficial considering she has a daughter; any man who is interested in her would need to really prove that he's there for the long haul for both mother and daughter.
I really liked Baek Chan Mi's love interest and I was really glad they got their happily-ever-after, even if it was kinda rushed in the end. I wanted more!
The beginning of the drama was really strong - the tragedy from the beginning was devastating and goosebump-inducing. But I just didn't feel like the conclusion packed a strong enough punch in the end from all the buildup. And what was the point in killing off a character in the last episode?! *inner rage* XD Also, the identity of Michael wasn't a spectacular reveal and anticlimactic, which was really disappointing.
The fighting sequences were fantastically choregraphed! So cool and awesome to watch! Especially the female fighters!
I've never seen Choi Kang Hee in anything, but I really liked her voice AND her acting.
Yoo In Young has usually played the antagonist in previous dramas, so it was really nice seeing her as the good character. I'd really like to see her in another drama, again as the protagonist, but a little less meek.
I really loved Lee Sang Yeob - he's played a mix of bad and good characters in the past, but this drama just kinda sealed the deal for me. He's someone I will definitely give a drama a chance for! The way he portrays emotions and his chemistry with other actors is great!
OST was nice - I enjoyed some of the songs, didn't care for other songs. The music was well placed though, and didn't bother me overall.
I likely won't rewatch this entire drama, but I'd probably happily watch F/MVs of this drama, especially to get some of Chan Mi and Seok Ho.

This drama wasn't it...atleast for me
I'm gonna start with the story, the story was very attractive and because of this I was disappointed. I mean who wouldn't like a story with three badass FLs.1) The story/ the ending, in particular, was predictable
2) The team was lacking, what I mean by that is there too many unnecessary obstacles, and almost every now and then the team tries to obtain something they can't lay their hands on it. This was quite frustrating for me to watch.
3)The romance was a whole obstacle of its own, even though I considered Ye Eun (the expert at computer) and the celebrity to be a cute couple I thought the romance between the CEO and the main character was overwhelming considering the fact that she was an agent, and that to someone he knew from the past.
4) As much as I liked the actors, I felt like some of their actings was exaggerated.
5) The drama as a whole was unnecessarily dragged out.
I liked the action scenes and the team leader(Gwan Soo), those were probably the only things that kept me from being distracted while watching this drama. As someone who had been waiting for this drama for a while, I was really disappointed. The writer had us in the beginning but the writer just went astray. I expected something refreshing/new but it turned out this way.

Overall it's a good drama. It kept me on toes and made me binge 5 episode per day. But it's not the best kdrama.The cast was good, the story was good at start and action was also good.
My main problem comes in the story and character development. There were too many characters. I was confused on who's who especially from the bad guy's side. So many plot twists that I was not surprised at one point. Each character's arc were all over the place because they wanted to focus on almost everything. The team's investigation, the villain's plot, chan mi's romantic development with Goo seok, Goo seok's personal stuff, ye eun's relationship with woo won and her grief of her boyfriend's death, Mi sung and her family life, and so many things clumped together to the point, i couldn't get emotionally invested in any of the characters.
The characters are mostly good agents in terms of fighting. Ye eun had potential to be a cool hacker but it's wasted. How could she not realize that her laptop webcam was hacked especially when she was threatened by the bad guys??
After everything i expected better with what they did to Micheal when they caught him. He was the reason why do many people died and their lives were harmed, so I expected more action between Micheal and Chan mi in the last episode but it all ended with one gun shot and he was taken to prison? Like that's it? No beating or punching like how she did to other villains?
Songs are just okay, i like the comic like style editing, there was funny comedic scenes. The concept felt cool but it got watered down in the end. Woo won's character was basically useless by the end.

Agree with 3GGG above - fatal flaw in this
Like the other reviewer I think this is 'made for me' - three strong female leads including my current favourite screen actor Choi Kang Hee - and the production is excellent and it is written very well, and all the interactions between the characters are fine (particularly like Kim Ji Young's 'Mi Soon') but it just doesn;t hold together - and almost immediately I realised what was wrong - all those idiotically extended fight/action sequences, they just go on and on to no purpose whatsoever, taking up a significant percentage of most episodes. The series would have been 10 eps top without them, I am sure. I feel cheated - so many good aspects to this and yet I didn't enjoy it, and would find it hard to recommend. If this had concentrated more on the three main characters, obviously some some action and character peril for tension, it would have been brilliant.Was this review helpful to you?
Peak of Industrial Espionage
A botched operation 3 years prior came with a new lead of the escaped wanted criminal Micheal, forcing the Korean National Intelligence Services to bring up the legendary spy Baek Chanmi back into the spotlight. She lost an agent that she cared very dearly in that botched operation and carried huge grudge against Michael, that the top echelon is counting for her to go all out for this mission. Going undercover at Il Kyung Technology with 2 other teammates, Baek found herself in a pickle as the secretary position she interviewed for is of a CEO who turned out to the student she tutored 15years ago, Yoon, who had a crush on her. Forced to avoid recognition by Yoon and the targets they are after, Baek and her team discovered that the mission they are on might have already been compromised by an insider, a traitor in the NIS that keeps the villains one step ahead of them every single time.I totally love the Industrial Security Team 3 lineup despite their ridiculus misadventures. Out of the team of 5, only 1 is a competent spy, the most crazily unhinged of all NIS, Baek Chanmi. The other 4 are either semi or total doofus - The middle-aged ahjumma negotiator/interrogator Hwang Misung, the supposedly tech whiz but totally clumsy-never-been-in-the-field Im Yeeun, the wimpy backup tech Bae Mohyuk and last but not least, the team leader constantly being intimidated by Baek Chanmi who happened to be the girlfriend he dumped years ago, Dong Gwansoo. I really liked how they manage fit in the clumsiness and comedy without trying too hard or looking slapstick or downgrading the kickass FL character.
I am totally for older actresses in the main leads, and Baek Chanmi’s character is an absolute badass that doesnt give other people chances to do her dirty. She stands up for herself, and others, and she doesnt care of the consequences so long as her objectives are achieved. Basically a total contrast of Im Yeeun’s character.
The scene where Baek took a shot at the villain’s car tyre while propping on one knee on a sliding motorcycle much like the superhero pose was so damn james bondy-mission impossible-like and she looked really good doing it. Her action sequences are all on point and doesnt look awkward or rehearsed at all. Although, this show still suffer from the usual action trope of having a professional spy/assassin/mercenary almost always turn their backs on the enemy without a confirmed kill/subdue, which becomes the opportunity for the other party to gain an upper hand. The moment the good guy turn their backs on the fallen villain, i absolutely know the villain is going to get up and either kill or severely injure the good guy which will eventually become the emotional burden for the mainlead. 🙄 yep happens here too.
The most irritating characters had to go to Im Yeeun the clumsy tech whiz and her supposedly paired character the celebrity Kang Wowon. The former being a total clutzy pushover while the latter a total bully with an ugly attitude who spares neither respect nor consideration for other people around him. Their side couple story took up so much of screentime that it made me cringe whenever they come on. This show doesnt need a romance side story, and by making the supporting characters as the focal romance just disrupts the plot’s pacing. And as a tech whiz spy, i am disappointed that this character gets flustered so easily at being targetted, either by the villain or even the snobbishly narcisstic Kang Wowon. Like, how can an NIS agent be this gullible and wimpy to be easily gaslighted and threatened with legal action for executing a sanctioned intelligence operation that eventually led to her being ordered around by a civilian? I was like, really? Reaaaalllly? 😒 just to slip in a love story, the screenwriter would butcher this character so badly. I just cant stand both of them I keep pressing the FF button until the next scene comes on.
As for Kang Wowon, my god i can’t stand this crybaby spoiled manchild. He screams and yells all the time, gets frustrated easily and is constantly mean towards everyone around him, including the one he supposedly fall for. This show could really do wothout this character, he’s a total plot hijacker that gets on people’s nerves so constantly. I can’t understand why they had to create such an ugly character to pair up with the gentle Im. He’s the kind of guy that would gaslight people when things doesnt go his way, absolute narcisstic that would ruin a woman’s life should something happen to the relationship. Especially one who doesnt fight back like Im. I just hate this character so much he totally doesnt deserve a good love story. This character actually fits to be ML’s ex wife’s partner instead. Both are narcs, the only kind of partner that they should have.
And despite being action-comedy, each character has their chance at displaying different kinds of intense emotion and they did them all really well. i love it how these characters could display contrasting reactions in different situations. Like the no nonsense ahjumma Hwang Misoon, she is generally very loud and outspoken while packkng good punches, but when faced with her daughter’s school bullying problem, she turned timid and lost all that confidence she usually displays as an agent, all because of guilt and fear for her daughter’s safety at school. The expressions are genuinely conveyed and convincing.
Fortunately, this show is also one of those rare korean productions that does a spectacular job at using other languages other than the native tongue in their dialogue. There is no incomprehensible english, in fact other than English, the characters speak fluently in russian, japanese, chinese and other language that i dont remember FL used to pass her interview when she was going undercover. And the japanese that Im Yeeun and Hwang Misun spoke sound so authentic as if they had ripped it off right from anime.
I enjoyed this show very much, it’s a shame that they didnt do a sequel. 🙁

Good cast and had a decent start but there weren't enough interesting elements to keep it alive, it fell off shortly after. Not even the thriller/mystery elements were that good. Very catchy drama and need to be watch.
Actually at first when I watch the trailer, I got something catchy about this drama. 'Good Casting' is a good chosen of title that represents what it means to be. I like the role of Choi Kang Hee as Baek Chan Mi, really caught my eye on how she need to carry out her mission instead of meet her long friend that has crush on her a long time ago before she turned to be an agent at NIS. She's very good at fighting skill that required in every mission. The male role is Lee Sang Yeob as Yoon Suk Ho, CEO of Ilkwang Hitech appointed Baek Chan Mi as his new secretary begins to learn that she is too similar with his crush as a tutor a long time ago. The mentioned rating is based on what its currently airing now. So, I'm waiting for the next episode that should be more catchy and exciting.Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointing
Good Casting has been by far the most disappointing drama I have watched to date - an uninspiring plot filled with clichés, weak performances from a few cast members (ironically making it not a 'good casting' choice), and 2D characters that felt like if they were in a novel, you wouldn't know who would be who!From episodes 1 to 5 I literally hated watching 'Good Casting' and wanted to drop it then and give it a lower rating than an overall 4.5/10, however, I make sure to always watch at least half of a drama before I drop it, and from episodes 6 to 8, there was some improvement, but not enough for me to give more time of my life to be devoted to the second half of 'Good Casting'.
Some positives: OST, the editing style (although it became a little too much after some time), some of the action scenes.
I welcome people to still try out Good Casting, but don't say I didn't warn you. I feel you'll find yourself dropping it too.

Achei incrível como as três se completam, o que falta em uma tem na outra. Baek Chan Mi é a determinada, mas que sempre se importa muito com os a sua volta, Im Ye Eun é atrapalhada de bom coração, Hwang Mi Soon é a boa de lábia e a sensata para todas as questões. Todas inteligentes e com ótimo trabalho de equipe. Também queria falar do chefe Dong, ele é um excelente estrategista, seu planos são elaborados, sem contar que sempre é atencioso e cuidadosos com elas, mas sem as tratar como incapazes de se defender.
Claro que teve personagens insuportáveis como o Gang Woo Won e a Shim Hwa Ran e sinceramente não sei quem é mais odioso Seo Gook Hwan, Myung Gye Chul ou Ok Chul. Aliás Ok Chul é quem mais me surpreendeu, acho que foi intencional, fazer parecer um pateta idiota, mas que na verdade é super ambicioso inteligente. Amei isso.
Tentei pensar em algo que não gostei e pensei em duas coisas que na verdade em são algo que estraga seu charme. O caminhão deles nunca muda a envelopagem, mesmo quando todos investigados já o conhecem, isso é um erro e são péssimos em perseguições, eram muito óbvios, rápidos, mas óbvios.
Em resumo amei tudo e acho que o final foi um bom gancho para uma próxima temporada, espero que aconteça.

História com potencial, mas ficou longe da excelência...
Como peça de entretenimento vale a pena assistir.HISTÓRIA - um plot enredado, mas pouco rebuscado. Mistérios que ficaram por resolver (não entendo se haverá lugar para outra temporada...), espionagem industrial sem grande interesse. Este drama segue a carreira de espionagem de 3 mulheres, divertidas e meio loucas, com características distintas. Fazem, juntamente com o líder da equipa, um grupo interessante e meio eficaz com doses de incompetência. Apesar disso, as 3 lidam melhor com as vicissitudes da sua arriscada e perigosa profissão do que com o quotidiano familiar.
Pelo meio há amor, relações que tornam a série mais interessante... desde um prumeiro amor sólido e íntegro; um imbecil egoísta que parece receber, vindo não se sabe donde, uma dose de humanidade e humildade, uma vilã fantástica que desconhecemos um pouco a sua vida, traidores e traidoras...
ATUAÇÃO - creio que é a melhor parte deste drama. Muito boa.
MUSICAL - nada de extraordinário. Não gostei.
REVER - não o faria por haver incontáveis opções deste e de outros géneros. Principalmente porque, apesar de não haver grandes resoluções e descobertas de alguns mistérios, há uma trama que já conheço e que torna o visionamento mais aborrecido.
NO GERAL - se gostar de uma série com doses de loucura, estupidez, cenas ridículas, ação e 3 mulheres divertidas e com personalidades interessantes, então poderá ter aqui algumas horas interessantes. Mas, nada de muito marcante irá encontrar. Para mim, se quiser ver mulheres fantásticas fico pelo drama SEARCH: WWW (BUSQUE: WWW)...
