1One of the best car actions in Korean movie
Gripping action scenes and very clean car stunts, great retro vibe soundtrack during car chases, it's on par with the one of best car actions you can find in any Korean movie. Meanwhile Park So Dam looks so freakin cool when she nails those action scenes perfectly, her edgy styling and gaze fits so well in the antihero character. The threat is frightening enough to keep you at the edge of the seats, overall storyline works fine for an action movie, which makes it quite an enjoyable movie experience.Was this review helpful to you?
Park So Dam in her first solo lead role!
I was curious after finding out how Park So Dam got ready for her role and the determination she put into the preparation. The cast of this film is excellent, everyone did a great job to make the film entertaining. The story was also very good, gripping and natural even tho it felt boring (like the plot was dragging) at some moments Overall, I enjoyed the film very much. Even the effects (blood, shooting et cetera...looked very well made). Park So Dam did a great job, truly enjoyed her acting here.Was this review helpful to you?
A fun ride, but...
Special Delivery is an action movie that is certainly not ground-breaking in any way. When I am watching action movies, my goal is to be entertained and throw my logic out of the car window. However, in this case, the movie did not offer the kind of entertainment that would make me turn away from all the ridiculous things that were happening at times.The plot was structured like many films of the same genre, and the action sequences were definitely fun to watch and very well-made. In other words, if you are looking for some nicely shot and fun to watch action scenes, you will surely be entertained.
What ruined it for me the most was the acting. The female lead is a badass protagonist, and Park So Dam definitely didn't have a hard job, when it comes to the acting department. Her character was mostly expressionless, but in my opinion, she didn't deliver even in the scenes that she was supposed to show the slightest bit of emotion. She was very wooden. The main antagonists mostly overacted and to be frank, I couldn't take them seriously. Generally, the majority of the cast was mediocre.
It was obvious that the scriptwriter tried to make this an action film with some kind of emotional impact, taking into consideration the way the plot progressed. However, the characters were poorly developed and the acting was lacking. As a result I didn’t feel anything for any of them.
All in all, even though there are some aspects that are there in almost all action films, like people not dying, unless the script says so or individuals suddenly turning into super humans with great abilities, the acting and the way the plot was structured didn't make it entertaining enough to make me feel for the characters or ignore some of the absurd things that were happening on screen. Don't get me wrong though. This is an entertaining ride and an ideal movie to watch, when you are looking for some fun after a long and difficult day.

Fun like Fast & the Furious!
If you are looking to get your fill on some thrilling car chase scenes, I would suggest giving this entertaining movie a try! Sure, a lot of these maneuvers you've probably seen before, but it's still a lot of fun. The story is not going to win any awards in originality, but the action more than makes up for it. At first, I didn't quite believe Park So Dam as her character as I found her nonchalant expression a bit too exaggerated, but as time went on, it started to get better and I started to believe her and her ass kicking. The kid also did a great job with acting esp for someone so young. I'd def recommend this to those of you who feel like watching a fun popcorn movie!Was this review helpful to you?

Action but with heart
Not a big Action fan, but if you love driving you will love this one, the driving scenes will keep you at the edge of your seat. Loved the anti racism education, very subtle from the side character. A little to bloody for me, so you might skip those scenes. But well thought out Leads and characters. All in all a good movie to watch, The end was a bit unrealistic but this is just my opinion. The boys character was played amazing. Laughing or crying, he did an amazing job. The main female lead was not only beautiful but cool and tough with a heart out of gold. Nothing you haven't seen before, done sooo much better
Sigh, where to start with this hot mess?Some edgy chick is a wheelman - or, well, wheelwoman - who gets her package, whether person, animal or item, from A to B, guaranteed. She drinks beer, has an Indian or black side-kick (because Korea's going woke Hollywood, failing to realise that people stopped watching Hollywood because they hate the woke bollocks), and is naturally way smarter than her male boss, because that's GIRL POWER. RAW!
Filled with the kind of clichés we hate, along with the staple clichés of the genre, this film offers absolutely nothing new and failed to entertain me in any capacity - I mean: the female lead's more annoying than hot!
Tob e honest, I turned this off around the half way mark because there are just so many better things to do with my time, such as: watch better films, cook dinner, sit on the toilet with a magazine or watch the grass grow... and we were in the middle of winter when I was watching this, so the grass was under a foot of snow!
If you didn't get my point already, this is bad. Avoid.

Delivered successfully...
Special Delivery was a pretty enjoyable watch from start to finish. The premise is interesting enough to keep things moving, and the action scenes are slick, entertaining, and easy to get invested in. I also loved having a strong female lead at the center of the story. She carries the film well and brings the right amount of toughness and charisma to make the ride worthwhile.That said, this isn't the kind of movie that completely blows your mind or leaves a lasting emotional impact. The story does its job, the action delivers, and the pacing keeps things engaging, but it doesn't necessarily offer anything groundbreaking. It's one of those films where you'll have a good time while watching, but you might struggle to recall the finer details a few months later.
Overall, I'd still say it's worth the watch. If you're looking for a straightforward action thriller with cool fight scenes, chase sequences, and a capable female lead kicking butt, Special Delivery delivers exactly what it promises. Sometimes that's all a movie needs to do.

+ Every single car scene is exciting, impressive, and thrilling
+ The main characters are wonderfully likeable and show great chemistry that conveys an emotional response
+ Even the music is fitting and adds a charm to the action (although it's not as memorable as the "playlist" in something like Baby Driver)
+ This is one of those action thrillers with a good amount of substance to digest with some emotion-swaying drama elements

- Sometimes the plot takes a backseat to the action due to its simplicity
- Eun-ha (main character) is such an interesting character, but there are only a few details about her background

car action movie worth watch with badass female lead
Special Delivery[2022] -8,5/10 kmovieif you liked The Transporter series with Jason Statham you will like this one too.
Its action based movie with alot car action and female driver as main and child as package to be delivered.
After seeing this movie I guess I will check out some of other Park So Dam dramas.
plot - FL is best driver for special delivery which specialize in delivering anything worth money to destination without being caught. Once FL leads gets job to deliver father with son, but father got caught before meeting point and kid is pursued. FL pick up kid and got dilemma what to do with him.
