Perfection

This is how actually romance between Omega and Alpha looks like. Dominant man and very Obedient Girl. Actors perfectly choosen Dori Sakurada plays a role so well that Obedient girl like me would straightly subbmit myslef under Him. This is the exact romance I want to expierience . For those whom thinks is too sudden thats how it would go. For those whom state They hate it , it's just not for You is for those like me whom enjoy this because are exact like female lead. I have rewatched it many times even today I have watched it 4 times already.

This is my first ever Japanese drama. My friend recommended me this drama so, I watched it. I liked the storyline but I guess they rushed up things a lot in the start. I mean literally a lot happened. And It is a romantic drama but It has a lot of romance which might be I guess inappropriate for some people who are expecting a clean drama or maybe a romantic drama but not this much intense. The acting of the actors was average tbh. The female lead was kind of a doll till the end as she doesn't have much prominent scenes. The acting of the rest of the cast was also good. In the start. you would be confused that why the male lead likes the female lead I mean who asks someone to be their girlfriend just after they have met but as you would proceed with the drama you would come to know all about it. So In all It was a good drama but I guess the watcher should be 18+.

Intense and Hot

I really liked the intensity of the romance in this drama but I didn't really like the whole love at first sight aspect. I can kind of understand the ML and his love at first sight for the FL since his charecter is suppose to be obsessive and possessive. So it might have started of as obsession going on to love, but the drama didn't really show this development since the show is from the FL's perspective. But I don't understand how the FL immediately fell in love with him. She is shown to be a shy, introverted person who is constantly hit on by men and is always uncomfortable by it. How the hell did she immediately fall for the overbearing ML. It makes no sense to me.

I really liked the ML, especially compared to the FL, he is also the exact opposite of the FL. The FL is the epitome of a damsel in distress and it was so annoying. I only saw the tag "weak female lead" after starting the drama, and the tag really bothered me. At first you don't really see how weak and pathetic her character is until the last few episode. Which I also couldn't understand. How could a person who just recently moved from a countryside to a big city, going to (from what I gathered) a good university and (also from what I gathered) living on her own, be so weak and pathetic. The fact thay she was able to do all that, all by herself after living with her family on essentially a farm and somehow becomes completely dependent on another guy, is what baffles me. Also, how does she not already have some sort of job. I hate that they made the FL who could have at least have some backbone, into such a pathetic damsel who is always pitiful of herself. How on earth did she live independently without the ML.

Litterally the only good thing about this drama and the only reason I was able to finish it was because it was steamy. When I say this drama was hot, I mean REALLY steamy. Not to mention the good looking cast. Both the ML and FL are handsome/gorgeous, they had good chemistry, but the FL's characteristics got in the way, a lot. The ML was so damn hot, kinda sadistic, has such a nice voice and says some of the hottest things. And that's about it. I'm a bit confused and intrigued by the ML's relationship with his (male) secretary though.

There's really not much to the plot. When you have a love at first sight drama where it is reciprocated immediately, there's nothing much you can add to it. Good thing is that it is really short, so worth the watch if you want an intense and hot romance with very little else to it.

This drama was like the manga and wasn't for example when he says he loved her at first sight in drama was same lines and everything just a bit less skin in drama than manga but the manga was a smut so not much can be done unless you want to watch a porn now I'm not saying it's for everyone but you love or hate it that's how it seemed to go with the manga at least but the actors where pretty spot on with the characters and the secretary actually had the two freckles under his eye they did an amazing job for the budget they had just wish there was more then 10 episodes

Kawaii but not so kawaii grooming story

I'm definitely not the target audience of this drama. The female lead's only personality throughout the whole series is being 'kawaii' (cute), if that can be considered a personality. Every straight man in the drama would fall for her and be blessed by her cuteness and nothing else is needed.

Everyone is toxic and everything is ridiculous from the beginning till the end. This drama has all kinds of cliché tropes and cheesy lines combined in 10 episodes. Thank God it only has 10 episodes. I appreciate the cast's efforts, but even their acting and pretty faces couldn't save this embarassing plot. I hope they got paid enough for the job.

I think the person who wrote this story was probably still an elementary or middle school student when they wrote it. Nothing makes sense already, starting from how innocent the female lead is, as a university student. And what kind of CEO the male lead is to be in such a dangerous state that someome would kidnap and want to kill his girlfriend?

One ridiculous scene that I remember now was when the female lead's so-called best friend asked her to lend her boyfriend to her. I really wish the female lead could slap that bitch right in her face and end their friendship right there, instead of rolling her puppy eyes again and apologizing to that bitch and accepting her ridiculous request. Girl, she's not your friend! She's a snake! To make things worse, the female lead's boyfriend also accepted the deal to go on a romantic date with both his girlfriend and her friend at the same time. I was so done lol. I can't rate this drama any higher.

Also, I think this drama would be the fastest way to teach a Japanese beginner learner how to say the word 'gomennasai' (sorry). The female lead kept saying it in almost every scene she was in. Besides 'kawaii', that word is now stuck in my head. I think this drama should be renamed into ‘Kawaii and Gomennasai’.

I have watched this drama two times which clearly was a mistake! First time I really liked it, but then I didn't have watched many other dramas. Second time which is now my eyes really open up and I saw it what it really is and not just the actors. I forgave a lot to this drama only because there's my favorite actors, but I couldn't do that twice. This drama is just way too much vanilla and if I'm honest the story is horrible!! Like c'mon they started dating in the first episode!!! There's nothing interesting about that.

I was embarrassed in every episode bc the things they did and said in this drama was just so vanilla that it really make me wanna puke. The characters were also so boring and gloomy. The only character that was even a little bit funny was Akutsu and he didn't even have many scenes! The fact that Risa and Hiroto broke up in the last episode but planned getting married in the same episode was just ridiculous.

Also the female lead is honestly the worst character ever. She has no personality or her own will. She just did anything Hiroto told her to do and she was constantly in situations from which she had to be saved. I don’t know a more infuriating character.

The only good thing in this drama is the actors cause I love Sakurada Dori and Fukuhara Haruka and my points goes only for them!! I remember the first time I saw this drama and I was so happy because Nao and Daichi has their own drama now but this made me so furious bc they deserved better drama!

Sweet, short and cute jdrama

This is my first j drama. It doesn't look like forced romance. He always gives her time to get comfortable, cares about her, and respects her decisions. Dori and Haruka look so cute together. Their chemistry is also good. Dori as Hiroto is something else. He played his character, perfectly and their sweet moments give butterflies. It is based on love at first sight but if you watched it properly before started the relationship he already knew her and fell in love with her at first sight. Short , sweet and cute jdrama. Love the ending!

Never forget it’s the story, not the acting.

Everybody has heard the expression, “Only In The Movies”? Well, this drama will brings meaning to that in every way you can think of. You will never meet a woman, on screen, who is more naïve, unaware, weak, trusting, shy, and just totally oblivious to the world than the female lead in this drama. Excuse me if I missed one of her attributes. She gives in to everybody, never says no and has little if any self esteem. Men take advantage of her and even her best friend gets her to agree to give her a chance to win her boyfriend. Never have I seen a woman more vulnerable than Risa. She’s like a moth to a flame, but she is sweet and innocent. And, she has a nice smile.

So, if you want to see this incredible woman, give this drama a watch. Forget about the obsessive boyfriend, it’s not his fault. She was there in front of him and he swept her up like dust on a sheet of glass. She willingly gave herself to him and after a while you begin to think it might have been a good choice.

I read so many negative reviews about the acting but I thought it was great. There is no plot in this drama so the acting is just scene to scene. The dialog means nothing so don’t blame the actors. I don’t think it’s as easy as you think to play the naïve virgin type for the entire drama. She can’t drop her persona for even a second or it all falls apart. The cheesy boyfriend has the same problem. He has to stay in character every scene. If you don’t try to find an actual story you may see some actors and actresses who may be in a future blockbuster. Just saying… It could have been an audition drama.

Me: "I'm just going to watch a episode and see what the hype is."
Also me: *clicking the non existing "next episode" button*

I had zero intentions on binge watching this WHOLE thing the way that I did. As I watched this, I realized through updates... a lot of people hated this show. Lol Which is sad. I thought it was REALLY good! But then again, it might just be because I'm Dori Sakurada biased. Don't hate me. Lol
But I think it also helps that I watched Good Morning Call first. I know this has nothing to do with this show but because I seen Haruka Fukuhara in GMC, I know her acting is a bit... bland. But when it came to this show, it was her advantage. Coming from a shy person, I know damn well this is how I act around a guy I like too. Lol. Not saying I'm proud of it, but saying I can relate.

Now here is where I'm sure people will come for me. This really gave me 50 Shades of Grey vibes. Like a lesser/non bondage version. Which make me think those that hated 50 Shades, will probably hate this show, and those that liked it, will probably like this show. I could be completely wrong though. Lol I just get those vibes from it.

I loved the story. I know it had it's issues and for the most part could be labeled a mess. Mostly because it focused more on their relationship rather than a actual story... but I still enjoyed it. But I get it. I just hope if they ever redo this show, they keep the original cast. I would love to know more about each character's back story. Especially Hiroto. You are told throughout the show that he has a dark past and people want to tell Risa but she always says she would rather hear it from him. Which again, I understand... but I wish she had brought it up and fully asked him about it. Especially since she was put in so much danger throughout the time of them being together. It leaves it like a open ending which is a bit annoying.

I must say for the first time, I like the FL this way. Usually when a FL is loved by all but ditzy and timid all the time, it gets extremely annoying -- so I get the frustration people have. But to me, something about it just seemed to fit perfectly. But I also loved that even though Risa was hella shy, Hiroto was very patient with her and attempted to bring her out of her shell a lot which I find extremely respectable. Lol sometimes shy people need a dom to help do that. (don't come at me for this, I'm saying what I know and feel).
This says a lot though because I really didn't like her in GMC so for her to play this so well and make me feel like no one else could play this part as well as she did says a lot, imo.

Can I talk about Yuki for a second though? The man had all my respect up until he pulled that "I'm moving in and about to fuck all your shit up" mess. I know he had his reason but it literally made me hate him by the end -- even though he explained why and stuff. It's just a hard no for me. To many people got away with assault in this show for my taste. While I know Hiroto showed up most of the time, I wish more could have been done. Now mind you, even her friend was a bitch. Like I get it. You see this hot guy and instantly simp. It's Dori Sakurada, I don't blame you. Lolol but to sit there and be like "you know what, let me date him one time, he might not even like you" is some absolute bullshit. How are you going to call someone your best friend and pull that shit? Then not only that, date one of the guys that assaulted her at one point? Excuse me while I vomit.

This show is a hit or miss for a lot of people and I can see why. But it was a hit for me. I loved it. And it also showed a new side to a few actors that I haven't seen before.

This show is just so cute and put a smile on my face every time I watched it. Yes, it was predictable at times..This made me want to drop the show but every time this happened it would reel me back in once Risa and Hiroki share their moments together, they are just so cute together. The ending was satisfying and sweet. Now would I watch this again? No probably not, it’s worth watching though. This is definitely binge-able since the series is only 10 episodes and about 24 minutes each. It almost made me shed a tear, but then a ad popped up so that didn’t happen.

Don't watch this drama if you want a plot or anything other than eye candy

In my quest to watch more japanese dramas, Coffee and Vanilla is mentioned pretty often. Also, Dori's international popularity has shot up high since his appearance in Alice in Borderland so I was pretty interested to see him in this drama. Also I didn't read the original material, so this review is coming from someone who has absolutely no knowledge about this story.

However, this drama has like... no plot.. I mean it does, but it's like a fanfiction come to life. Dori plays this just perfect CEO character that is just obsessed with the FL (who is gorgeous) but her character is so damn shy I wonder how she even is able to date him in the drama. Some scenes make me genuinely cringe, but I do like how it's just straight up taken from the manga.

The color grading on this drama is also really interesting. It does look beautiful and much more of a high production than some other japanese dramas I have watched.

Why would you watch this drama?
Probably because you watch something that involved no thinking and maybe you're a simp for Dori or maybe you're a simp for perfect CEOs who are obsessed with you and do everything for you.

However, there's this one scene in this drama that makes it ---relatively--- worth it -it involves a smirk. My god, that was a hell of a scene.
