I'm... wow. I think it's one of the best yet.

☆☆☆☆☆ Ngl, when I picked this drama it was solely bc of the main leads (Dilraba and Yang Yang). I didn't really care much of the storyline, since I just loved the actors/actresses. The concept is fairly new, and I like it. Aerospace Science is something most people don't incorporate into our minds even though it's literally such a large project in future technology and exploration. The main leads are like coming across each other after a decade to get another chance to finally fulfill their dreams and write the future. The plot is mature and meaningful, which can be pretty hard to find. There weren't any love triangles (ok it's just barely there, but nothing major at all happened). The second (ish) leads (or, you can say the third person in the love triangles) don't go past the limits to try and "break the leads up", or try to threaten the leads, or sabotage them, which I thought was amazing. Yu Tu and Jing Jing have such a healthy relationship; they're understanding, and willing to communicate with each other. It's literally a perfect balance. I also loved the script- kudos to the scriptwriter; it was amazing.

☆☆☆☆☆ Like I said, I came here at first for the main leads. Dilraba and Yang Yang did amazing (like always), and their chemistry was sooo good it's insane. The acting was super duper natural. I loved how the female lead character is supposed to be like one of those super successful supermodels/actresses that are very mature yet adorable. I loved that personality, it wasn't just pure "innocent female lead" vibes; the female lead was cute but extremely understanding, and the level of maturity is what tops it all. The male lead is one of those people who are the "good at everything" type and could make it big in any industry, though eventually uses their talents to work towards their dreams, which shows an unexplainable drive and perseverance. That's the part that was the most emotional for me. Well done to all the other characters; they were all played very well and I loved them.

☆☆☆☆☆ Lol, the music was great. A couple of the songs made me want to cry (mainly referring to the outro song)... It's like the song that plays when two leads/second leads break up with each other (in the rain or something). I thought the songs were all fitting and fun.

☆☆☆☆☆ Overall, just amazing, spectacular, incredible drama- I'm at a loss for words. Seriously, this just made it to my "top favorite dramas" list, no joke. If you haven't watched this go do so right now and I bet you won't regret the slightest bit. Would I rewatch it? I typically don't rewatch dramas, since I like moving on and I feel like it wouldn't be as exciting as the first time I watched it...? But in this case, I think this is the first drama I may come back to rewatch after some time. It was deep and meaningful, but there wasn't any major "trauma" like break ups or life-threatening situations. Truly a masterpiece.

10/10 no doubt

Wow... I stopped watching dramas for a bit after I dropped "About is Love".

But here I am back again and this drama was literally amazing. Tbh, I really only chose this drama because of its cast, since I'm familiar with most of the actors/actresses. I have never loved historical dramas more :D

For these kinds of dramas, life and death are literally like breathing. Once someone dies in historical dramas, they no longer serve a purpose for the rest of the story, and often times aren't even mentioned at all after their presence is removed.

Personally, I'm someone who likes to see a little more romance, and the leads never had a "real kiss"- there were birds that did that stuff for them. (that may seem confusing, but if you watch the drama and get to that part you'll understand)
Even the support roles had a real kiss...

But the amazing plot and acting made up for the lack of romance. I really wish to see a part two, since I feel that some parts of the story were left unfinished. This drama was crazily good, and I'm glad I watched it. Typically, I don't like watching dramas that are more than 36 episodes long (36 episodes just seems really long for me), since I don't have that much free time. But I just want to say, this drama was definitely worth my time. 100% recommend!!

Light, average drama.

STORY---------------------------------------
Of course, given that this is a short 15 episode, 10 minutes each episode drama, you can't quite expect a plot besides a relationship developing. Most other characters just had to be thrown into the plot after a quick introduction. But even with such a short drama, I believe it could have been a little more interesting. I saw other reviews, emphasizing that this drama is like "beating around the bush". I couldn't agree more. It was frustrating that the male lead didn't tell the female lead that he liked her. This lasted quite a long time, which makes me believe there was room for more plot. I did sort of like the "love rival aka best friend" idea, but since this is a short story I don't think this drama would be the right place for that kind of situation.

ACTING/CAST-----------------------------
The acting and the cast were both great, nothing over the top. I want to point out that the female lead definitely becomes dumb when around her crush (male lead). It's cute, and funny, but sometimes she was way too imaginative, and I got second-hand embarrassment watching her sometimes. Male lead was good, but he hid his feelings a little too far for too long. But overall, their personalities and acting match very well.

MUSIC-----------------------------------------
I just put 8.0 for this one, because there was only one song in the whole drama. But it was a pretty good song.

REWATCH VALUE---------------------------
I think the only reason why I would rewatch this is because it is very short, and you can finish it in a span of one day. But I wouldn't be here for the story. It sort of depends on your view after the drama, and what kind of drama you feel like watching at the moment.

OVERALL----------------------------------------
Very average drama, and very hard to tell whether this is a good or bad drama since it's extremely in between. I guess watch it if you want because it's really short, but I wouldn't 100% recommend it. If I had to give a more precise rating, it would be 7.7, just like it is right now.

Drama was okay, but the story isn't quite like expected.

STORY--------------------------------
One thing that I didn't understand was the connection between the Title of the drama and the drama itself. I'd expect "Sweet Combat" to be finding love and developing the love story through boxing or taekwondo. I seemed to imagine a more "hot", "love at first sight" sort of thing. But the story was the complete opposite. There were only 2 major love scenes between the leads in the drama. Also, I didn't really like the female lead character that much, since it was too much of a stereotype Queen Fighter, trying to hide their feelings, acting tough, being chased by guys, etc. This is another one of the dramas where the leads are separated by someone who is trying to sabotage their relationship, and it isn't until the last 20 minutes of the drama where they reunite and find the truth. It was a combination of the plot and the characters that made me a little iffy about a good rating.

ACTING/CAST-------------------------
I think both leads were okay at acting, though I personally liked the male lead, Song Xiao Mi, Fang Zhou (female lead's brother), and Chen Ya Nan's dad the most in the drama. They had really unique personalities.

MUSIC-----------------------------------
All the music was good, and I almost memorized the lyrics to all of the songs!

REWATCH VALUE--------------------
I don't think I will rewatch it for the story/experience. I would at most rewatch it for the cast/acting and music.

OVERALL-------------------------------
The reason why I wouldn't recommend this drama is because the story and characters don't seem right. The only reason I would recommend the drama is because there is lots of humor, the cast is good, and the music is amazing.

Really nice, and the plot twist was great.

BACKGROUND INFO
The male lead (Ling Yue) is an adopted child of the Ling family, and runs the technology business "New Way". The female lead (Gu Anxin) is a girl who loves comic making and works as a delivery person. Ling Yue is being sabotaged while driving, and drives off a cliff into the water. News is reported, and no one has found his body because Gu Anxin met Ling Yue and helped him get to the hospital. Ling Yue lost his memory and hurt his leg, so Gu Anxin let him live in her house until his memory recovered. One day, Ling Yue suddenly leaves, and him and Gu Anxin meet again at a convocation. Gu Anxin is perplexed and learns a lot about Ling Yue. But on the same day, Gu Anxin meets Yu Guo, a whom she knew since high school. They had misunderstandings between them because of competition and an accident involving Gu Anxin that caused Yu Guo to have an almost handicapped arm. Gu Anxin and Ling Yue face many obstacles in terms of relationship. Family situations are complex, and the truth is to be revealed.

STORY------------------------------------------------------------
I loved this drama a lot. The story was really interesting, and cute. I think the backstories of the leads were thought out very well. It really made it seem like they were meant for each other. Another great thing, is that the female support (Gu Xin Er) who loves the male lead actually finds someone else she loves. That is usually rare in dramas, and I appreciate that happened. After all, the female support didn't really harm their relationship. But I do have to criticize the fact that I felt sort of hidden from some things. For example, during episode 7, Yu Guo shows up and has this hatred towards the female lead. It wasn't until the end that I fully understood what happened to Yu Guo and the female lead. Also, I was confused as to whether the female lead and her brother were blood related. Another thing I want to mention is that they sort of have a split up then back together cycle in the beginning. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing, because it was a little annoying, but the split ups are really small so it wasn't because the female or male lead assumes and overreacts. The plot twist was literally the best part. I was really shocked though, because this person was so innocent in love and it was truly unexpected. At the same time it was unfortunate for this person too. In the end, the female support and the female lead become friends. There are other relationships too. The FM's (female lead) best friend fell in love, and the ML's bodyguard fell in love with one of the ML's best friends. I seriously loved the story until the end though. I felt this drama had so much more potential for an excellent ending. The some of the people who did things wrong didn't get more severe punishments, and there was no finish. The second half felt very messy and wasn't excellent. Story was average.

ACTING/CAST-------------------------------------------------
I was more so here for Zhao Lusi, but Liu Te is great too! They make a perfect leading couple, and acting was awesome. I do think there were a few cringy parts, but for the most part it was nice. I want to emphasize that the female lead character was really good. Of course there will be times where people try to separate the leads, but I am glad the female lead won't be easily deceived by any news trying to break their relationship.

MUSIC------------------------------------------------------------
Music was amazing, I nearly memorized all the song lyrics! But there was a song that was in the drama which I couldn't find in the full OST. Definitely one of the dramas with better songs.

REWATCH VALUE----------------------------------------------
Like I mentioned earlier, the first part of the drama was sort of a repetition of a small split up and back together, which was sort of annoying. I would at most watch the last half of the drama, since I think the last half has more action and is more interesting. I am not a person that would rewatch dramas, so it really depends on how much you like it and if you want to move on to other stuff.

OVERALL---------------------------------------------------------
Good drama. I would recommend to people who are more open when it comes to choices. For me, this drama was very lighthearted, and didn't catch my emotions a whole lot. I was a little disappointed since I really thought this drama had so much potential for a great ending. But it's definitely not at the bottom of my list.

Decent, better than the first one imo.

NOTE: I'm usually pretty generous when rating lol. Also, this contains spoilers for The Eternal Love 1 (not 2), so if you haven't watched that yet and don't want spoilers, I don't suggest you read this review.

☆☆☆☆☆ Story... yeah I think that's where it was better than the prequel. But there are still some flaws (I will address them later). First, I really liked the idea of the future Lian Cheng and his role. It's an interesting emotional feeling, because it's not really brotherhood or "love", but it's his bond with himself (?). I'm glad Yi Huai is less "possessive", but he still is creepy in the end, ngl. It's really like a whole lesson on "the things we do for love". I really hope Yi Huai finds a lover in The Eternal Love 3. Qu Xiao Tan is a very loveable character, yet a very silly character. It's pretty much the stereotype; a smart and strong male lead with a goofy and cute female lead. Though Tan Er may be a little too immature, always falling into people's traps. In this drama, Tan Er is less of a "savior" compared to the first drama. She doesn't play a very heroic role, if you know what I mean. One thing that I don't really think is super strong is the future Lian Cheng's reason to stay in Dong Yue. Apparently, his only motive is to make sure history doesn't repeat itself; basically making sure Yi Huai doesn't die during the fight for the throne. So when Yi Huai suspected Liu Shang and Lian Cheng being the same person, obviously Yi Huai knew about the "person coming from the future", so future Lian Cheng could have explained to Yi Huai that his motive was because he didn't want him killed like history shows. But of course, the fight for Tan Er became the highlight when the writers wrote this story, so I just think the link between future Lian Cheng's purpose to stay in the story and Yi Huai and Lian Cheng's rivalry isn't all that strong. But at least, I think this drama's storyline is better than the first, mainly bc Yi Huai isn't all creepy and possessed.

☆☆☆☆☆ If you read my review for the prequel, you know that the reason why I chose to watch this series in the first place is because of Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie. Liu Shang was also an amazing character. But I really really loved Jing Xin. From what I've seen, Jing Xin is pretty much the shoulder for Xiao Tan (Tan Er). She suffered so much and is pretty much like Xiao Tan's sister. Props to those actors and actresses.

☆☆☆☆☆ Overall, I would recommend you watch it, of course, if you've watched the first one already that is. I don't think I'd rewatch it- personally I'm not a "rewatching" type person, and I'd just watch the sequel. But as of now, I think I'll take a small break and go watch a modern drama, since historical dramas aren't exactly my thing, I still love them if they have a good plot (ie The Long Ballad). Anyways, if you haven't watched it yet, I'd encourage you to watch it!

This is an amazing 2017 drama.

Note: I'm not a particularly picky person. So my ratings may be more generous than others'. I'll admit, I was probably a little harsh in rating the story. ?

☆☆☆☆☆ First, the storyline was pretty good. I said "pretty good", but it wasn't the best. Of course, this is a 2017 drama, so I think it's exceptionally good for a drama filmed 5 years ago. Ig you can say that standards back then were "lower" than today's because production has advanced over time, so there are a lot more dramas better than this one in the following years. The only thing I think that brought the story rating down for me is that it was I dare say- childish, almost. It's all about "magical powers" and love. But I really liked how they constructed the characters. Their personalities are kind of what kept me watching.

☆☆☆☆☆ Tbh, the cast and acting was the only reason why I decided to watch this drama in the first place. I love Xing Zhao Ling and Liang Jie A LOT. They make an amazing duo, and I fell in love right after seeing them once in "You Are My Destiny" from 2020, and coincidentally, they filmed many dramas together, and this was their first one I believe. The producers did really well in this aspect, and honestly, it can't get any better.
**(sidenote: Liang Jie was pretty impressive here, where she had to act as Qu Xiao Tan and Qu Tan Er, who had completely opposite personalities.)

☆☆☆☆☆ Music... music is so important. I really love music in general, and thought the music chosen in this drama was excellent. It was fitting, and I don't have much criticism to give on that part. ?‍♀️

☆☆☆☆☆ Overall, this drama is amazing. I would totally recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. Personally, I like modern dramas more than historical dramas, so I think I'd like the sequel to this drama better. Speaking of the sequel, I wouldn't rewatch this myself because I'd be watching The Eternal Love 2 instead. Anyways, if you haven't watched this yet, I would definitely recommend it!

My ratings mean what they mean

☆☆☆☆☆ Literally the BEST DRAMA EVER- I don't think it can get any better than this (at least for now). I cried so much because of happiness. This drama wasn't steered towards youth love or whatever, it was covering the base of friendship, family, and personal values. I loved the whole idea of the theme so much, it's crazy.

☆☆☆☆☆ The three main "children" characters came from families with very heartbreaking backstories. It really made me think that everyone has a small piece missing from them, in one way or another. Jian Jian, Zi Qiu, and Ling Xiao are just such lovable characters, they have their strengths and their shortcomings. Over time, the characters start developing and understanding what real love is, whether it is from intimate relationships or family relationships, or friendships. Most of all, the characters have to learn to forgive and forget. That's a hard lesson everyone had to go through, which was a very painful, but meaningful process for them to endure, which is also what made this drama so worthy.
Another thing is that there aren't any MAJOR love triangles, like romance isn't the focal point of this drama, which made it more enjoyable. It isn't the typical "female/male second lead gets jealous of the female/male lead and tries to sabotage the leads' relationship". No one was purposefully trying to kill or injure someone, or anything extreme, which is great.

☆☆☆☆☆ It's really hard to say where this drama could improve since it's literally so amazing. But I guess one thing is that some other characters' stories aren't finished. Like, what happened to Tang Can and Zhuang Bei? Did Tang Can ever successfully pursue her dream career? What happens to the three girls' friendship when Ming Yue goes to Beijing? Does Zi Qiu ever fully forgive his mother and father? How does Ling Xiao think about his mother? The story has a happy ending, so it seems that overall the story is complete, but there are some little things that leave the story incomplete. Maybe that's just me wanting a part two ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

☆☆☆☆☆ Anyways, amazing drama, definitely my favorite by far. Story = 10, acting/cast = 10, music = 10, rewatch value = 10, overall = 10... I really meant what I meant. I would give this drama a 100 if I could. I would for sure recommend this to ANYONE who hasn't watched this yet- you'd be missing out if you didn't watch it :)

I loved this soooo much!!!

I feel like short and sweet is better, so I'll make this review quick.
Literally one of my most favorite dramas now- the leads have INSANE chemistry, it's indescribable. The storyline was amazing, but I feel like the acting and cast were definitely what carried this drama. Music was decent, but it never stood out to me particularly compared to the other features of the drama. I do feel like some parts of the drama were unfinished if I really think about it, but overall at the end, I was really satisfied. At least the leads had a satisfactory ending, which is obviously the most important part of the story. The second leads' relationship was cute too- and I find it funny how their relationship moves quicker than the leads' relationship, given that the second leads never knew each other before.
I'm glad there isn't a love triangle with the female lead, male lead, and Qiao Na for that long, and that Qiao Na eventually accepts that she needs to find her own love instead of Yuan Shuai. At least the "jealous female support" isn't impulsive and harmful to Jiang Jun, which is great, since I think it's sort of stupid when dramas have that same character for other female in the love triangle.
Du Lei on the other hand (the other love triangle), was really something. . . but I'm glad the female lead was so direct with how she felt nothing for him.
Jiang Jun is a really strong woman in this drama, and she is independent, which is what made her successful. One thing though, is that I really wished her medical condition of being allergic to tears had a stronger impact at the end. To me, it just seemed like the only purpose for that characteristic was to create a backstory- that's it. I think maybe if her being allergic to tears was incorporated more towards the end, that would give this drama that little bit more of a purpose.
Overall, truly amazing drama, loved it sooo much, and really hope I find dramas like this or even better. 100% recommend to any people who haven't watched this!

Light, but meaningful drama.

BACKGROUND INFO:
Ye Zhenhan is Ye Weimian's younger twin sister. Ye Zhenhan was in a car accident, so she was in a comma. Ye Zhenhan had really good grades, and teachers gave her many opportunities because of how smart she was. Ye Weimian didn't want her sister's opportunities to go away, so she decided to take her sister's place in class. That is when she met Gu Yanluo, who is also in that class. They eventually fell in love, but Ye Zhenhan finally wakes up and people start discovering that Ye Weimian had a twin sister all this time. Watch the drama to find out how Ye Weimian and her twin find a way to solve problems, how Gu Yanluo reacts to this, and what Ye Weimian's love rival does.

STORY-------------------------------------------------------
The story is really awesome. It's difficult to describe in words. Most 24 episode dramas that take place in collage or high school are normally really light hearted, and only about how a relationship develops. I've seen reviews for those types of dramas (Put Your Head On My Shoulder and Professional Single), and the reason for such low reviews is because viewers complain there is no really plot to the story. This drama is definitely different, and I love it a lot. The backstory is very interesting, and it's always nice to see the chemistry between the leads. The drama is very even, giving that there is no character who is over the top, or emotionless. I do wish they had a few more episodes at the end, to add on even more to the story. But this plot is very good, and I hope they make more dramas like this!

ACTING/CAST---------------------------------------------
I am actually new to the leads in this story, but I know that the male lead (Gu Yanluo) has acted in other dramas as well as a support role. I'm glad that he is the main role in this drama. The female lead (Ye Weimian) really possesses great character, and suits the male lead very well. The second leads are also cute, though they seem very stereotypic. But I also love how they emphasized Ye Weimian deep relationship with her sister (Ye Zhenhan) and best friend (Lu Yao). Gu Yanluo shows more sensitivity as a male than other male leads in short school dramas, which I really like. The rival of Ye Weimian gets on my nerves, but that just means she's acting well. Everyone fits in a nice position, but I would like it more if Yan Jiuyue (Ye Zhenhan's best friend/boyfriend) took a stronger role in the story. That would make the story more interesting, and I think that actor has a lot of potential.

MUSIC-----------------------------------------------------
I heard 3 main songs in the drama, and the songs were good so I'll be looking up the OST later!

REWATCH VALUE---------------------------------------
I'm really not the type of person to rewatch dramas, since I know there are so many dramas out there to watch. I probably would rewatch a few of the clips here, and it really depends what type of person you are, and how much you like the drama.

OVERALL--------------------------------------------------
Overall, this was an amazing drama, and if I could find more of these, then I would watch them! The male and female leads are amazing, and they should be the main role in other dramas more often! There were some parts that were a tiny bit cringy, but they are just doing their job. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a slightly more emotional drama that isn't crazy. I would also recommend this to the people who complain that high school/collage setting dramas have no real plot. Have fun watching!

Another one of my favorites!

BACKGROUND INFO-----------------------------
The male lead (Ji Xiangkong) is an e-gamer representing team Legends. The female lead (Qiu Ying) started off as an interviewer in a small company. Ji Xiangkong and Qiu Ying meet at the national e-gaming finals competition in 2018. Because of certain reasons, they meet again. Though they don't understand each other very well so hate each other in the beginning. But as they know each other better, they reconcile and become good friends. Ji Xiangkong started Qiu Ying's dream of becoming the first Chinese female commenter in the national e-gaming competition. Of course, they both meet people who are trying to ruin their careers. They push together to solve these problems, but then Ji Xiangkong's ex-girlfriend came back from America. Ji Xiangkong needs to find a balance to keep his ex-girlfriend from interfering with his current relationship.

STORY------------------------------------------------
First off, I just want to say that this drama is on my "BEST DRAMAS EVER" list. The story was literally amazing. I love how there was a really good balance between love and career. It is super great to see how these relate to each other. The leads start off sort of hating each other, mainly because they didn't understand each other. But eventually they become good friends and catch feelings. There were actually three main conflicts in the story. The first one is when a manager in the Legends e-sports team tries to kick the male lead out of the team, which happens towards the beginning. In the middle, is about the female lead and her work rival. And in the end, is regarding the male lead's ex-girlfriend. Nothing really "breaks" their relationship, but they will get upset at each other at times. But for the first two conflicts, it affects their careers, not their love life. I think the thing that really gets to my emotions, is the friendship, and the adventures they travel together. It's really awesome seeing how the characters grow, learn, and go through so much together. The bond and brotherhood hooked me instantly, and made me feel like this drama was more meaningful than just a simple love story. It is truly insane how much this captured my heart. Such a beautiful story, and it made me cry over happiness.

ACTING/CAST--------------------------------------
Wang Yibo is pretty popular right now, but it's funny how I didn't watch Gank Your Heart fully because of him. I was more looking at the story, but of course, with Yibo and Wang Zixuan as leads it makes it 10 times better. I do have to give extra credit to Zixuan though. One thing that would really ruin a drama is if the leads are cringy. Zixuan's acting was so natural, I really loved it. She didn't try to act cute, and she didn't try to overexaggerate any emotions. Same goes to Yibo. Both lead's acting was so natural and everything was executed so well. Support characters also did an amazing job, and really brought the story to life.

MUSIC-----------------------------------------------
Great music, especially loved the intro song Wang Yibo sang called "Most Burning Adventures" or "最燃的冒险".

REWATCH VALUE---------------------------------
Yes, definitely worth rewatching. I'm personally not the type of person that likes rewatching dramas, but if I wanted to rewatch any drama, this would be it. Most of the time, I would rewatch a few scenes because of the relationship, but this it was the story for this drama that captured me.

OVERALL--------------------------------------------
Really amazing drama. This is another on of my favorites now! Recommend to anyone out there, and it's very meaningful. I caught myself in tears towards the beginning! If you haven't watched this, then now is the time! This is a seriously good drama.

A lot of episodes, ending could have been better.

NOTE: The spoilers will be put at the end of my review, so you can read it if you want.

BACKGROUND INFO--------------------------------------
Qiao Man (female lead) is a girl who lives in Barcelona with her boyfriend Han Sen. Qiao Man was actually originally Nan Shen. Nan Shen was raised by her father. Lin He Ping (male lead) was raised by his mother. Nan Shen and Lin He Ping's parents decided to get married. But before their wedding day, Nan Sheng's dad was hit by a truck, and passed away. So Lin He Ping's mom took care of Nan Sheng. Lin He Ping and Nan Sheng were technically siblings, but they eventually fell in love with each other. Lin He Ping's mother didn't approve of their relationship, and they both split up in high school. Nan Sheng wanted a break so she traveled to see the ocean. She sent Lin He Ping a text telling him where she was, but the message was noticed by Xu Ah Li. Xu Ah Li was a great friend of Lin He Ping, but she loved him too. She deleted the message, and went to find Nan Sheng. Nan Sheng fell into the water and was rescued by Han Sen on the shore of Barcelona. Nan Sheng lost her memory, and filled in with a new identity - Qiao Man. Several years later, Lin He Ping and Qiao Man meet in Barcelona's town square when Lin He Ping was on a business trip. Lin He Ping thought it was Nan Sheng, but because Qiao Man lost her memory years ago, she didn't know what he was talking about. Lin He Ping and Qiao Man became good friends, and flew back to China together for their own reasons. Many of Nan Sheng's childhood friends, including Xu Ah Li were perplexed to see Qiao Man, given that she looked so similar to Nan Sheng. But none of them except for Han Sen knew that Qiao Man really was Nan Sheng. Qiao Man and Lin He Ping's relationship develops and they start to date. But the jealous Xu Ah Li creates misunderstandings between the two, and the leads have to clear the air for themselves and for each other.

STORY------------------------------------------------------
Okay...definitely the aspect of this drama that is emphasized in pretty much every review. It was a pretty good storyline, I thought it was going to be interesting. Things were going smoothly, but towards the end, most of the episodes were just flashbacks of the leads' childhood. So the format was basically: The leads meet, explain a little bit of backstory, develop relationship, conflict starts, starts revealing truth, childhood rewind of what exactly happened, truth completely revealed, end. I am honestly really surprised I didn't drop this drama, since the story got so boring halfway. There was 1000% no need for so many episodes, which makes me even more surprised I finished the drama. The ending, was definitely the most disappointing part of the whole drama. (reveal in the spoilers at the bottom)

ACTING/CAST----------------------------------------------
I feel like the whole reason I started watching this drama was for the cast. I love Jelly Lin and Song Wei Long. The character Xu Ah Li really got on my nerves, I wanted to punch the screen every single time she did or said something unethical. But that means the actress for that role was really good. I also appreciate the effort put into the backstory, which made it better, but what I really liked was the change between Nan Sheng and Qiao Man. Nan Sheng is a very gentle, passionate, easy to be pushed around type of girl, whereas Qiao Man is strong, expressive, not easy to be pushed around type of girl. So for the most part, she was the smarter lead in the story. But the fact that this determined girl was fooled by Xu Ah Li's little lie really mixed up my view of her character. I love the acting and the cast, but I do think the character of Lin He Ping could be built better. I wish he was more of the strong Qiao Man, with a powerful stand in his actions and decisions.

MUSIC----------------------------------------------------------
I don't remember much of the music besides the intro, and I always skipped over it since it wasn't too great.

REWATCH VALUE--------------------------------------------
I know giving this section a 1.0 star may seem cruel or over judged, but I really can't give it a higher rating. 56 episodes! I doubt anyone would ever watch this again, given it's frustrating ending. Watching these 50 episodes AGAIN would definitely not be worth it. Others may have different opinions about this, but I don't think this is worth rewatching, knowing my emotions will be wasted for such an ending, and such decisions of the characters.

OVERALL------------------------------------------------------
I think the writer had really good views on the backstory of the characters but I don't see where the story went. The ending should have been better. The execution of the storyline was not as good as it should be. I am sad to say that this is probably the worst drama I've watched so far, but I appreciate it's efforts. Overall, 7.0, which is considered "okay" in my view. Not sure I would suggest it to anyone though.

SPOILERS BELOW:
I have repeatedly said throughout my review that the ending was the worst part. There is pretty much no difference in terms of relationship status between the leads from the start to end. In the beginning they were just friends, in the end, they became just friends. Qiao Man decided to stay with Han Sen and go back to Barcelona, even though her heart was with Lin He Ping. So the leads separated for a whole year, and the drama ending with them as friends meeting once again in Barcelona. Pretty disappointing ending for such a wonderful backstory.

I loved the cast, but the story wasn't very natural.

BACKGROUND INFO-------------------------------
The drama is about two young adults who are joined reality TV shows and met there. They had to form a fake relationship the promote themselves in the public eye. The male lead is from a family of musical artists, with a distant personality. The female lead is from an ordinary family, with a more upbeat and slightly clumsy personality. They realize they have common interests and knowledge, and eventually fall in love. But they both have their dreams to pursue, and careers to obtain. (Watch the drama to see how their relationship progresses!)

STORY--------------------------------------------------
In my headline, I said that the story wasn't very natural. What I meant was that there isn't a proper confession, and the leads just suddenly loved each other at one point. The love story starts from a fake romance to promote public view to real love. I think that part was portrayed fairly well in the drama. But I would like to see more of how they started loving each other, and how their relationship progresses after they become a real couple. With that, I give the story an 8.0.

ACTING/CAST----------------------------------------
Many people love Zhao Lu Si (Rosy) and Wang Yi Lun (Riley), and they are perfect in a drama together. The story is what prevented me from giving this drama a higher rating, but it would be great if these two starred in a new drama with a slightly better storyline. The acting is pretty good, but the male lead character seemed like a stereotype no-emotion male lead. That also kind of brought down the value of the story. But the cast is great and the acting was very spot on.

MUSIC--------------------------------------------------
The music was good, and really suited the drama. But the only music there was, was the intro and outro music. Which I expected more songs since this drama is about sound and instruments.

REWATCH VALUE-----------------------------------
Due to the lack of sense in the story, I wouldn't completely watch this over, unless you feel like it. I would definitely rewatch a few scenes though.

OVERALL----------------------------------------------
Overall a very friendly drama, doesn't affect too much of your emotions, but you may feel touched. I think this drama deserves an 8.0. Very nice job, and hope to see the two in a different drama again. (Right now you may have trouble finding all the episodes to watch on YouTube, but if you have Netflix then things are easier. There was some sound problems on a few subtitled episodes, but there is not problem with the unsubbed episodes.)

This review may contain spoilers

Overall it was good, but the ending messed it up.

Note: There aren't exact detailed spoilers in this story, just spoilers about the format and how it flows.

STORY---------------------------------------
I honestly was really intrigued by this story, and was really interested in it from the start. But a little while after, the story tended to become a repeated cycle. Normally in a drama, the leads break apart and get back together, just like in this story. It creates more of a roller coaster, which I am perfectly okay with. What really hurt, was the length of the breakup versus the length of the reuniting. They break up for like 4 episodes, and the whole truth is revealed and they are together in the last 10 minutes of the drama, which is very disappointing. Of course, not everything ends happily, but this drama does. Happily, for just 5 minutes though.

ACTING/CAST-----------------------------
The cast was great, and the acting was not bad. I especially think the female lead's acting was amazing, and I know that there are more dramas featuring Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin.

MUSIC---------------------------------------
The music is really good, and really loved a few songs from it. Definitely a good OST.

REWATCH VALUE-------------------------
I wouldn't really rewatch this, mainly for a fact that I would be wasting my tears just to know that they get back together for 5 minutes at the end. Sometimes the character's decisions frustrate me, and how clingy the second lead could be. It's nice to watch once, but I wouldn't watch it twice.

OVERALL------------------------------------
Overall, it was an okay drama. It was just how unethical some characters could be and the ending that brought my rating for this drama down. If you like the main leads, watch "The Eternal Love". It has a higher rating than this one, with 3 seasons, and is on my plan to watch list.

My favorite drama BY FAR!

STORY-------------------------------
This was recommended a lot, and was extremely popular, so I decided to watch it. NO REGRETS. At first I watched it mainly for Ding Yu Xi and Zhao Lu Si, but I loved the story too. I really liked how this drama flowed, and how interesting the plot was. It was very unique and I loved the perspective it put out. 10/10 for everything.

ACTING/CAST---------------------
Like I mentioned, I watched it at first mainly for the cast. I love the individual personalities of the characters, and the chemistry was great.

MUSIC--------------------------------
I almost memorized all the music lyrics! I really enjoyed it.

REWATCH VALUE-----------------
Would 1000000% rewatch! Such a good drama! I heard season 2 was coming soon, and I am glad they planned one.

OVERALL----------------------------
Story was amazing, acting/cast was great, I loved all the music, and I would definitely rewatch it. For those who have not seen this drama...I'm recommending it right now! I can't wait for season 2 and hope for the same quality story and cast!
