Fine. It was just a kiss.

I agree it was JUST a kiss. But it was Goong Yoo's kiss. It was not JUST a kiss. >_> GOOONG YOOOOOO. :P

Anyway. We're back on track. We only have 4 episodes left.
Don't drop it, it's no use. You won't be able to. If you are then I can't believe you watch it till the end and then dropped it at the last moment when the truth was about to be revealed. :P

FOUR EPISODES ONLY AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. :P
Don't drop it.

C'mon ... it was just a kiss!

This episode was a lackluster just like its previous episode. Yet, the rating on mydramalist is a lot higher. I'm sure that it was majorly due to the kissing scene at the end.

A kissing scene SHOULDN'T mean an upgrade in terms of rating.

The plot is really dragging. They stretch predictable things that we can already see coming ahead. If we see it coming then I have no clue what's the purpose in "keeping us teased/entertained". The bickering b/w our protagonists is like a non-ending cycle. Hopefully, the gameplay will be upgraded in the next episode, since their feelings are out of the bag (FINALLY).

The subplots are really unnecessary. Even the supporting characters are unnecessary. I feel like there are no character developments for anyone. They're still the same as they were originally.

Honestly, I was so bored of the whole half-brother storyline part that I just fast-forwarded those bits.

Ma Ri's dream sequence was very cliche. I hate it when scriptwriters lack ideas, hence, they just add in those kinds of scenes. It feels like a movie where the main character went through a whole ordeal, only to wake up and realize that it was all a dream. LAZY WRITING.

The constant dismissal of the angel painting/picture because of interruptions is annoying now.

The Hong Sisters are really running out of ideas. It feels like they're adding in fillers.

To be quite frank, this entire series can be shortened into a movie. Why? Nothing happens in the middle. The childish fight and make-up session has been long over-exhausted.

The reason I'm still sticking around now is because I'm a fan of Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung.

somewhat better

but it is still slow and Da Ran still gets on my last nerve. I realize that it must be confusing, but it seems like she is a little stupid. Is she really going to be a teacher??? Whatever. Her family is great though.
At least we see a Gong Yoo kiss!!!

Gong Yoo Best Kisser Evarrrrrrr! RWAR!

This episode has a lot of cute moments. Enjoying all the lovey dovey moments and trying to suppress the ?can he wake up now?

The tent scene is so heartbreaking. I cried with Daran. I really like that I feel the emotional struggles these characters are going through.

I can see why a lot of people haven?t been able to relate to the show, but personally, I really like BIG. It?s definitely quite different from what I expected it to be, but I think it has a lot of heart and depth in it.

Gong Yoo never fail to amaze me. The kiss was awesome!

Back on the Road...

...but not yet fully on course--that's the best way that I can describe episode 12 of Big, an episode that gave us both a dose of when-is-this-episode-going-to-get-moving and whoa, that's a big move.

The first 35 minutes of this episode, in my opinion, seemed rather unnecessary. We get a cute camping trip and jealousy on both sides, but not much else. In the last half is where this episode makes ground.

Probably the biggest thing we learn in this episode is that Yeon Jae's illness is back (that mysterious illness that "brought about" Kyung Joon), and of course, the ending, where (finally) Da Ran gives in to her feelings.

Overall, this episode was a mixed bag for me. While I like that the plot moved somewhere (even if that somewhere was somewhat predictable), we still encounter tons of filler scenes and faked switches that make our heads burst.

Hope for the future

In terms of the more serious plot, things are progressing way slower than I want.
Romance-wise, we just made a breakthrough :)
