Both female leads in both movies are talented and gifted to be a good cook/baker. There are romance in between the cooking and food. Some funny moment

Both dramas have protagonists who are cooks and have talent in cooking. While IRRLY has the female lead working in the President's kitchen, Sato's character is the emperor's cook in TNR. Certain scenes in TNR seem to be inspired by IRRLY, although it could simply be a coincidence.
