"My Forever Sunshine" was the top thai lakhorn for many viewers in year 2020. It stars the beloved thai actors Mark Prin and Kao Supassara who delivers with their every might in this treasure of a love-story. Their characters Arthit and Paeng goes through emotional developement in this long journey filled with all kinds of heartfelt and painful emotions.Paeng goes through a shattering trauma in such a early stage of this lakhorn, with no one understanding her she becomes very self destructive and desperate to hold on to her only rock, her first friend ever...Arthit. He shines as bright as the sun and in her desperation she also unfairly hurts him, making him hate her so much he wishes for her death. But in her redemption and strive for his forgiveness Arthit starts to become fascinated by the strong and caring woman she has become and it will be him this time fighting to keep her beside him...wanting to possess her and gain her love again. Paeng is after all the sky...and Arthit is the sun who always shines and guards over her.

How their love-story unfolded made me giddy,excited,happy...and cry so many happy and sad tears.Athit and Paeng are both wonderful characters to love and root for.Mark and Kao did a INCREDIBLE job in performing these two well-crafted characters.Wow, i am completely amazed!I also fell in love with the whole cast, wonderful job from everyone!

My favorite lakorn by far

The only lakorn i've watched twice (lakorn in general is very long, and i don't necessarily watch it again even if i like it, cause it will take so much time and energy). But this one really grabs my heart.

If anyone planning to watch this,, and if you starting to watch this but find it boring, please wait until ep 5 or 6. That's where the intense hate-to-love trope starts.

Another thing i like about this lakorn is the female character Paeng. I love her so much (i have become Kao's fans after this drama). Her character was very strong. I love how she talks back when she felt unjustified. There's not one moment where i felt scared for her cause i knew she had it. Yess she did get bullied a lot and sometimes she even allowed people to bully her, but there's a reason behind it.

The chemistry was off the chart. I can't stop smiling everytime Paeng and Arthit had a scene together. If i didn't knew they each had a partners in real life, i would assumed they actually liked each other off screen. That's how good their acting and chemistry are.

The humors were on point. Especially with Arthit's gang.

Special shout out to to the setting. The location was so pretty. I want to go there.

But then again i don't want anyone to have high expectations before watching this. This is just my personal opinion. But i believe you will enjoy this.

A REALLY GOOD HATE TO LOVE DRAMA

OH MY GOD! I really like this drama I even paid for VPN and VIU just to watch this!

I like how the plot goes even though I really can't bear to watch the first few episodes as I feel like it hurts. BUT I really like how the main lead's character development went, especially Paeng's character development where it is similar to a roller coaster. P'arhtit's character is very strong here (on the outside), while we can see that Paeng is very independent (she is so freaking strong, I can't be like her).

I love Mark's and Kao's acting here! I love how they show that they are hurt inside through facial expressions. AMAZING!

I'm trying so hard here not to show any spoiler hahahha (peace) I don't want to spoil the fun

however, I wish I could see more of "someone's" panic attack here, which I don't really see much. Also I found some backgrounds that has too much of saturation and those things related to the color editing.

OVERALL I LOVE THIS DRAMA! I'M GONNA REWATCH IT :D

IT'S UP THERE WITH KLUEN CHEEWIT

Out of all Mark's dramas this and Kluen Cheewit are the most impressive.

REASONS TO WATCH:

1. STORY
- It sounds like all rom-com thai dramas, spoiled girl meets guy, misunderstandings happen, they fall in love but NO. It's way more than that, deals with PTSD, and so much more!
- really a full circle drama, everyone has character development!
2. ACTING
- KAO IS in my TOP 3 Thai Actresses now, this is MINDBLOWING, seeing all her sides: Her crazy, her sweet side, her funny side, and her traumatized state. She's such a well-written complex character, hard to play and her eyes are so expressive.
- Mark Prin also keeps impressing me, Kluen Cheewit is my fav Thai drama of all time, and he never disappoints
- He's such a CONVINCING ASSHOLE, and then he flips the switch and I'm SWOONING
- THE ROMANCE MAKES ME SOFT. Their gazes are soft, their demeanour is so convincing.

3. BEAUTY
- Bless my eyes, everyone is beautiful in this drama

4. SCENERY
- THE FARM CASTLE is STUNNING, the flowers, fountains and Thai houses are NEXT LEVEL, paired with the nature a perfect setting
-the number OF SUNSET SHOTS WOW

5. FASHION
- There's a major white/pastel aesthetic going on, not over the top glam, but natural and pretty
(OMG I was dying over Ling's outfits, Paeng's too, so beautiful and elegant)

6. MUSIC
- THE OPENING SONG and that one sad theme song is the best!

Totally would rewatch this

Well-executed story, great acting, and addictive music

This lakorn is definitely worth the 1.5-day binge-watching with little sleep in between. The story was a good one, and the pacing was just right forthe most part. Unlike many "hate to love" dramas where the lead couple starts off not liking each other due to personality differences or misunderstandings, the female lead, Paeng indeed did something awful that justified the male lead, Arthit's intense hate towards her. For me, that made the story more interesting, and the character development for both leads more compelling. What made the story even better for me was that I could not tell when exactly was the turning point for Arthit, and when he began to fall for Paeng. Like Arthit said, "by the time he realized it, he was already in love with her". That was a poignant moment, and the progression of their relationship felt so natural and so right.

The cast was excellent, and the acting was on-point. As in many Thai rom-coms, the supporting characters can be over the top and at times ridiculous, but still, you cannot help but laugh. I have to single out Mark Prin for his excellent acting. Objectively speaking, Arthit was a total jerk during the first part of the show (although with good reason), but Mark managed to portray him in such a relatable and charismatic way that one cannot help but root for him. Kao Thanachart impressed me in My Secret Bride, and she did it again in this show except for some emotional scenes in which she did not quite nail them.

Some pairings just work, and lucky for us, the audience, this show got it right with Mark and Kao. Even though the kissing could be steamier, the chemistry between those two is terrific, and together, they make a gorgeous couple, likewise, for the second couple, Thanon and Ling. I really liked Punjan Imanothai in Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat, and he played Thanon so charmingly in this show. Luckily he was not the second lead. Otherwise, I would suffer from SLS. Also, a shout out to Freud Chatphong Natthaphong, who played Kot for his comedic chops. I've seen him in quite a few lakorns. Deaw Suriyon Aroonwattanakul as Mark also did a great job playing a psychopath. He caught my interest in Nueng Dao Fah Diew and I hope that he will have a chance at being the male lead in the near future.

Another plus point is how well the show used music to enhance the mood and scenes. Using interesting sound effects typical of a Thai drama, the show almost always hit the right dramatic notes and then break the tension by transitioning smoothly to more light-hearted moments. I love all the music - the songs as well as the instrumental and vocal pieces.

I could not give this show a perfect 10 because of two main reasons - 1) the use of noble idiocy, a trope that should go extinct, and 2) the show skimped on romantic scenes between Arthit and Paeng. Instead of throwing in a subplot, we could have appreciated more scenes where Paeng fell back in love with Arthit after his confession.

Overall, I would recommend this lakorn to everyone, although I am probably among the last few who have not seen it earlier.

ONE OF THE BEST

From the story to the cast are very SUPERB. The lead cast are amazing together, they portray their role so natural and looks like for real. Love them both and looking forward for more lakorn of them together. Mark prin and Kao supassara really nailed it. They both deserved to be recognize not just in thailand but internationally. Its not bevause of the story that the lakorn look great but because of the lead chacters. I hope that they will have more drama together in the future. I not going to shipped these two lead cause they both have someone in their life already but I just want more drama of them. I hope that people will still support them, whoever they are paired with.

My forever sunshine for me is 10/10 and highly recommended for everyone. You can learn lessons from thier story. I hope you will watch until the end.

Cute love story

It is romantic love story. I like acting and even both the two songs which were running back at the background.
There were some points of the drama I don't like or I think there was no need to show .
1. When Mr. Mark had an accident ,his life became little miserable . So when she came back to apologize he became perfectly alright ,his life came back to path .so actually what had happened in the past ,why he gave up his first love . This questions were not answered .so when she came back to apologize ,to ask for his forgiveness ,he just doing acting that of becoming paralyzed to make her feel guilty and to see this she go back from where she came , actually he wanted to get rid of her but she didn't go back ,she wanted his forgiveness then he told her that he was totally alright ,he was just doing acting and then she can go back .
So basically I didn't understand this part because I thought story would go in flashback to show how he overcome from his suffering but this had not shown .
Secondly her parents accident story is not justified ,okay with the story of her mother how she had killed but about his dead and so easily he get into the jail ,I need some more thriller into this , something more suspense . All supporting characters were good ,Arthit's parents also very good , especially his mother she is cute and her acting is also good.
I like the place where they had shown Arthit's home.
I love to see all those places .
Good drama ,good love story ,good background songs and all the characters' acting were also good.

A good Lakorn thanks to it's two leads.

WHAT I LIKED:

- The story has two arcs of narration:

First, The chronicle of Arthit and Paeng and the variations of their relationship. There is a lot of highs and lows with many bickering, cute moments, funny moments, crazy moments too. Overall the trajectory is credible and if they looked stiff together for a long time, the end is nice and they become a natural couple.

Second arc is the search of the truth about what happened to Paeng's parents. It is well made thanks to a great despicable insane villain.

- The Male Lead: Arthit is a good guy with a good heart and caring for people but when he wants to play jerk, he is the biggest jerk of them all. He can really take care of Paeng or put her into the most miserable situation. And he doesn't stop because she would beg him... I liked his personality despite him being too harsh to Paeng. Also he stays respectful of his mother even if she is over the top sometimes. Mark is impeccable in the drama. His great acting skills and the little details of his expressions do everything.

- Paeng: I really had issues with her at the beginning. She is a real brat. But she manages to become a smart and patient young woman. I liked the fact that she found herself the solution to her own problem. I liked Kao's portrayal of a tomboyish but also cute and determined Paeng.

- Arthit dad: a good dad for Arthit, A good uncle for Paeng, a good husband for his wife. A great boss of his own household. I liked his patience, composure and his efforts to find a solution acceptable for everyone. He also had his flaws like everyone.

- Mark not Prin: Very charming but also a complete psycho. I really disliked him but he looked impressive as a bad guy getting into their way for a reason... lol The guy is also a perverted sicko.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE:

- Lots of characters are sacrificed: The story of the second couple is reduced to the bare bones . Some ideas are just left as loose ends. Kot is a simple comic relief, Nang is just annoying, They do not have a real story for themselves.
- Arthit Mom: Although I can understand her as a mother trying to protect her son, she sometimes does too much when playing roadblock. Lucky she has an understanding husband.

MUSIC: Good OST.

REWATCH VALUE: I enjoyed it but it is not memorable enough for me to rewatch.

OVERALL: A good Lakorn focused on the two main leads but it is fun, cute, with some angst and action. It is enjoyable. The two lead actors basically carry the drama on their shoulders as there is little time for other characters' development. 8/10.

It was indeed a cute lakorn

Only Mark can pull off these being a jerk but has a soft side for the main girl in CH3. The storyline was meh, but I was totally there for the chemistry with Mark and Kao and their acting. I already liked Kao in her lakorn with Great and I already knew she was a great actress. They both portrayed their roles to what was expected. Kao made me hate Paeng for being so childish but sympathize her during her redemption as it was literally vice versa with Mark's Arthit. But literally Arthit's father gets the award for being the most patient man ever. He really could've just let Paeng fend for herself but he didn't, and he always supported her even when she was at her lowest. And I did like how Arthit's mother didn't easily forgive Paeng, because I would be furious as well. Deaw's acting in here was so good, playing the cold hearted, two faced Mark (lmaooo I can't get over that). I do really like how [SPOILER] Arthit helps Paeng confront her fear of loud sounds. I think it was unnecessary to have the whole Non and Paeng arc (but it helped fuel Arthit and Ling's jealousy) or even have Nang and Kot be a couple, but it's a lakorn lol.

I do like the OSTs but the instrumentals. There's one instrumental that is literally the rhythm of the Canada anthem. If you are looking for it [SPOILER] look for when Non proposes to Ling. Whenever I heard that, I didn't even pay attention to the scene. It'll just be "Oh Canada, oh Canada".

Overall, I did like this lakorn. I actually laughed a lot more compared to other lakorns. LOL to [SPOILER] Kot and Nang kiss and it's Kot who freaks out first. That was hilarious. And I really did like their Mark and Kao's chemistry.

TL;DR - A good one to watch if you are the type that only cares about the OTP. It does get kdrama-esque near the end, but you will still finish the lakorn feeling satisfied. Arthit's dad is MVP.

It has been a hot minute since I've watched a channel 3 lakorn and I saw that this was considered one of the best in 2020, so I decided to give this a go. After finishing it today, I was left feeling pleasant and satisfied. While I have no regrets watching it, there are some issues I did have that brought this down lower than I expected. I will first discuss what I enjoyed.

The main thing I enjoyed was definitely the character development of our leads, with Paeng being obvious but also Arthit surprisingly near the end. I had a love-hate relationship with Arthit tbh; his bullying of Paeng, while warranted in the beginning, got too much to the point of grotesque and I was very close to writing him off. But eventually, he does get his comeuppance later on and with that he mellows out and matures. I also liked how his character was consistent; sometimes with these possessive types, their moods go up and down like crazy and their actions are all over the place. But with him, it was always consistent and even with all his ridiculous actions, it never felt out of character (I just want to shout out at how he legit threw up when he heard Paeng and Non were dating; on anyone else it would seem like overreacting but with him it felt like something he would do and I found a lot of humor in that).

I also loved how this was set in the countryside and how beautiful the scenery was. Sometimes, I would pay more attention to the background (and admire it) then the actual scene at hand haha. It definitely gave a different, more homey feel than if this was set in the city.

This show was mainly focused on our leads and I have to say, it's a good thing they casted the right people for them. I think Kao and Mark did a pretty good job with their characters; even when they were being terrible, they were still watchable. You could understand their motivations and although I did not agree with some of the actions they took, I could understand why. Their transition from hate to love was very well done and I loved their proposal scene and wedding at the end.

Another thing is the MVP of this lakorn which is Arthit's dad; if you know, you know. He was the best character out of the entire lakorn with how understanding and awesome he was, and I kinda wished he could be my dad.

Now for some issues I had. First is that because this was focused heavily on the leads, it left almost no development or time for the secondary cast. They had more presence in the beginning, but pretty much faded out in the third part of the lakorn. Even if they did show up, they were used as a tool to move the plot forward or a means to get the leads together. In particular, I have to comment on our 2nd leads, Non and Ling. While I'm glad they weren't terrible, they were essentially used to propel the romance of our main leads, and I really couldn't care less about them or their romance.  Their story was very stereotypical and a huge turn off for me, so I ended up skipping their moments. They had an interesting conflict near the end with Ling's infertility, but that was pretty much resolved in 10 minutes and added to my disinterest of them.

Another issue I had was a logic inconsistency, in which characters would take a certain action that didn't make sense. There were a lot of moments while watching where I thought "If character A was like so, they would take action B instead of C", and it wasn't something I could ignore. An example I'll give is when Non was preparing to propose to Ling. You would think with how much he loves Ling and fought to be with her, that he would plan his proposal to her. Instead, he gets Arthit and Paeng, who've largely been dealing with their own issues, to plan it out which is weird. Most of this was done to again push our leads together or out of convenience, which I couldn't help but be a little turned off by.

Finally, I have to say that the last third of the lakorn felt very drawn out and was very reminiscent of an old-style kdrama, where the mom intervenes in the relationship and they have to break up bc of that. Firstly, they could've cut down those episodes and secondly, it annoyed me that Paeng was being a noble idiot and bringing about unnecessary drama and angst. I hate the noble idiot route and personally find it better when both leads fight for the relationship. I don't want them to force it, but they can certainly work on convincing the mom instead of getting teary eyed and wishing eo well when you know damn well they will get together in the end. To me it's a waste of time, and I wished this was filled more with romance instead.

All in all, I still came off happy watching this and enjoyed myself for the most part. Music was good and played appropriately. I don't see myself re-watching this as a whole, but I would come back to specific moments in the lakorn. If you were wondering if you should watch this lakorn, and don't mind that the leads are the main focus, I would totally say to give it a watch.

Giddy, Dizzy, Young At Heart - For Fans Of Mark Prin - Watch It!

Just completed watching another drama with Mark Prin. As I was watching My Forever Sunshine, I could not help but realize how well Mark Prin chooses his scripts and dramas. He almost always chooses a role that suits his personality and he falls into those roles very well. I enjoy watching him act.

My Forever Sunshine is truly for the young at heart. Love that makes one feel giddy, giggly and warm all over. It has been a long while since I giggled and be tickled by the banter of two leads as they argue in the beginning and eventually fall in love. However, for me, the drama became a little too 'stretchy' from episode 10 onwards as it felt there was nothing much to tell with regards to it's plot. For the remaining time, till the end, it was just about the 'on again' 'off again' relationship between the Main Lead and Second Lead couples who were cute, but lack passion.

Then again, thank goodness for Mark Prin. With his good looks, boyish charms and good acting, I managed to complete the drama. BTW, the theme song of the drama - REALLY GOOD!
