Too light for a dramaland in general and but Jdrama fan. Please check this one out!
What should I say first?- Story is as thin as a recycled paper but somehow enjoyable to me. ML is really REALLY HOT (not talking about his wooden acting). I like Mook Worranit but she's so stiff on this show. What happened to your wonderful acting skill girl?
- The most interesting character who went from a villain to a cool, low-key comedic character is Mark. He's more well-rounded than FL and ML combined together with his little screen time. Kudos to Foei Patara. Excited to see him playing bisexual character in his next drama.
- I like the song especially when Mook(FL) sings it herself.
- Not bad but not so good, It's in the middle to me. If you enjoy doramas like Coffee And Vanilla or Love Phantom. Give this one a try!

A Boring Yet Surprisingly Irritating Watch with a Sprinkle of Beautiful Visuals
If I were to just judge this drama by the first 3-4 episodes, I would without a doubt say it had the potential to be a really fun and cute story if done right…I loved the direction it was going in in the beginning. However, after seeing how the story was unraveling in the later episodes, my interest in this show started depleting as well as my expectations for this show…What started out as your typical cute fluff content, with all the fuzzies and butterfly feelings, soon became the exact opposite. As it started trickling down to just a lot of annoying toxic behavior and cliches with a boring general plot…so if you are looking solely for fluff or a well scripted romance story skip this. But anyways….lets begin!!In terms of plot, theres really no plot…which you'll figure out pretty early on into the show (around ep 5 onwards.) Not much is happening in terms of the story, it was just a lot of back and forth repetitive scenes and conversations focusing primarily around the workplace, so you can imagine how quickly boring that got. On top of that, they started throwing a lot of drama and aggravations one after another that really added NOTHING to the development of the story nor the progression of the mains relationship. The execution is sooo poorly done, it seemed like they didn't exactly know what direction to go in so they started just throwing everything in hoping something sticks.
There’s no denying that the two main leads visually are a beautiful and handsome couple, and they definitely had their fair share of adorable moments, but those scattered cute moments were not enough to save this. It didn't hide the fact that their whole relationship throughout this entire show was ALL OVER THE PLACE, that sometimes it was really hard to root for them. Honestly I don't even know why this drama was set at a workplace because their relationship was only hindering their professionalism at work but also hurting their relationship in general.
Oh My Boss tried to balance work life with romance within its story but I think it failed in executing it leaving really weak stories for both. There was definitely an attempt to show various situations of the kinds of people we can bump into at the work place which could be interesting to see, however unfortunately majority of it were negative encounters which made it more aggravating than engaging. I would’ve rather seen more stronger character development in both leads in their work life; their problem solving (professionally) as well as their pursuit in romance. Also it would've been super interesting to actually see the finished results of their clients projects, we only ever saw them go to meetings and signing contracts so I felt like we never got that full satisfying feel when they succeeded. It was just overall super hard to become invested and interested in the story when there were more annoyances than positives which is unfortunate because I really loved the first few episodes.

Cute and sweet, but also confusing?
I started off watching this drama expecting more to the story. I've heard that this drama is based on a Thai novel called Oh My Boss and that it's supposed to be sort of explicit, and I didn't feel like I got that vibe at all. That being said, it is quite cute when it has to be, sometimes super cringy (which is I guess cute if that's what you like), but I felt like... The storyline was confusing. Not sure why exactly. Just didn't feel like the storyline made sense. There's no built up tension, like typically in dramas it goes from either being good or bad, and then it gets worse, but then it'll get better towards the end. This one, one day it's all good and everything is all resolved, next day, everything is just terrible again, and then they resolve it in a second like it's not a big deal and go into honeymoon phase again, and then all over again. It just didn't feel like I had much to look forward to or any drama/problems to anticipate because everything was just so easily resolved and there's no major built-up tension. The actors were alright. The ML, Luke, he's far from great in acting, but considering how this is his first real drama, I don't mind it too much. I've watched his other dramas (which were filmed after Oh My Boss) and he was better and see potential in him, so I think it's fine. But just based on this drama alone, he didn't feel too exciting to watch because he lacked emotions (Or is it just his character, I don't know)
The FL, Mook, was not bad, but not amazing. She's a bit bland and not too exciting to watch. But I think she did fit the character very well.
I think I wanna applaud the villains. Knomjean and Foei were really fun to watch, they really acted out their characters amazingly, and I truly enjoyed watching them.
The production itself was... Interesting. It seems like they had 2 different directors throughout filming, not sure why they changed, but this makes me think that the scenes look very strange and different from one to another. It didn't feel "connected" as it should. The quality in some scenes were just awful, but some were also great.
Overall, I don't regret watching it, but I would probably never watch it again. It's good to watch to just kill time with, but that's about that. Not a story you should take too seriously or read too much into, it's not super exciting, but the cast is beautiful to look at for sure.
I'm looking forward to see the leads in other dramas because I think despite the outcome of this drama, their lack of experience, maybe issues with production, etc, might have caused the drama to turn out the way it did, and I'm still looking forward to see what they have to offer.

Unfortunate waste of an amazing pairing and a good script with potential. And NEXT LVL CRINGE.
The plot seems simple: Cliché stereotype drama where a the leads meet at a club but then find out that their colleagues and then the employee falls for her super stunning boss and they have office Romance BUT with all this comes the secrets and lies. Doesn’t seem as bad as most reviews right? Well that’s what I thought at first.Main Review: This was one of my most awaited lakorn since last year as I thought it was lighthearted and something that didn’t FOCUS on revenge literally (cause 99% of lakorns revolve there) The trailer TOTALLY sucked me in and honestly the first 2 episodes were BOMB! But then came the cringe. THE CRINGE WILL HIGHKEY KILL YOU. They are CUTE AF but dang must the writers make it seem THIS cringe? The script has so much potential to just be a cute lakorn for once without any unnecessary drama and let them just be as it is and cute but thr writers really said: NO
Cast/Character: Mook is obviously a very good and versatile actress but this role of hers just seemed as a waste of her good talent. I liked Nim at first but then later on- all this girl did was DAYDREAM instead of ACTUAL WORK?
As for Luke, we all know that this is probably his first ACTUAL BIG MAIN role and he did exceptionally good and obviously he has a lot to improve tho as he did seem pretty awkward at times. As for his character- Akitsuki, that man was problematic. He’s hot and handsome but definitely VERY problematic. Honestly, Nim forgave him WAY to easily and it was pretty obvious that he preferred his career over Nim (The last episode might be an “eye opener” but that’s the case in more than half of the drama.)
Music: I LOVR LOVE LOVE THE OST- it’s literally soooo cute and fun lmao I want it on Apple Music hahahah
Overall: Like I said, it’d be SO MUCH better if they would’ve cut down the cringe, kinda obsessed with the ML and timid FL and the RED FLAGS since episode 1 ML. And of course, the unnecessary problematic part of the show. But I think overall it was cute. It’s good to watch it as a one time but nah not worth rewatching but I might rewatch a few cute scenes.

If you like the kind of vibe that is just plain steamy with a story to go around it, then delight yourself in this one!
It's kind of romance, mystery and intrigue complex story.
I loved every episode and wanted to keep watching, I don't want this drama to be end, but its now completed...!
It's worth watching I must say and I'm so happy that I found this drama.

It was totally a cringe fest imo
I was excited to watch the drama because of ML coz he's a hottie but i'm a bit disappointed. Heard it's his first main role and I could forgive him for that, slightly. But it was so not satisfying. His good looks saved most of his bad acting. And the FL, whew! Where do I even begin? If it wasn't for the BGM, I won't know whether she was angry or happy. She was smiling stupidly during most of the scenes in the meeting room. I mean who does that? And she couldn't even cry properly. That's not how you act when you caught your boyfriend cheating on you right in front of your eyes, he came back and explained himself to you and the moment you saw him all your anger disappeared and you welcome him with that awkward stupid smile you had throughout the drama? Girl needs some serious acting lessons. And ugh, she didn't even deliver the emotions of the character.
I was frustrated throughout the 14 episodes. The second FL was hands down who stood out with her acting. She was probably the best actor among them (even tho I hate her character lol)

Good chemistry and visuals wasted on a lackluster plot
I really wanted to like Oh My Boss because I personally like both Luke and Mook but the plot was just boring when it wasn't forcing random drama. For example, more than halfway through the show, we start to see more of Noomnim's home life. She lives with her mother and older brother who just got into a pyramid scheme that his mom monetarily helped him out with. Suddenly, Noomnim has money struggles as she tries to help pay her mother's debts. Never was this mentioned or hinted at in the previous episodes. And the entire storyline was played as if Noomnim was extremely broke. But she has a position as the boss's secretary in a corporate job while living rent-free in her mom's house. I don't expect her to be loaded but she didn't even have $450 in her bank account. How and why is she dirt poor? The show, in general, was just inconsistent in every aspect. Luke's hair length changed from scene-to-scene (and why they ever decided to film when his hair was so big, I don't know. It looked hideous). Noomnim and Koji's relationship was everchanging. Sometimes, Koji came off as a bossy, entitled jerk and other times he was completely selfless and understanding and they never cared to explain his entitlement.
It's disappointing that the writers would introduce the Japanese characters into the show without utilizing it in a believable and frequent way. Even on one-on-one scenes, Koji and Hazobe (both native Japanese characters) would speak to each other completely in Thai. Which, I suppose, is for the best because Luke says his Japanese lines with very little vibrancy. He sounds most scripted during his Japanese-speaking scenes. And that's saying something because he had a very noticeable word fumble when he forgot how to pronounce a Thai word correctly.
And I hate to admit it but Luke just didn't strike me as a corporate boss. Maybe a big part of that was also in the way that Koji was written. He has no workplace etiquette and would always laugh about possibly exposing his secret work relationship.
Overall, there just wasn't much going for the show. Even when I finished watching an enjoyable episode, I never felt the hunger or anticipation for the next episode. I watched almost every episode at least a week or weeks apart.

Beware of Female Lead poor acting skills
The plot was meant to be light so they superficially brushed topics like sexual harassment, power struggle and bullying in the work place. ML character appear to be strong but in fact he was very submissive,. Example can be seen in his response to the blackmail by 2nd FL. He broke every promise made to FL to hide dark past. The Female lead in turn was too naive and headstrong. He stupidity caused her to fall in every trap her rivals laid for her.The female lead acting was so bad. She's on top of my list of worse actor. I watched the second episode hoping for some improvment. Even the handsomeness of the male lead and the fabulous work everone else put in could not save her. OH my boss, was my first time seeing her on the big screen, I researched her other works, they were of the same claiber. That's why I plan to avoid any drama that she stars in.

Finally a Thai Drama I’ll watch
This is the unicorn of Thai drama there is no rape, abuse (physical, emotional or sexual) or cheating. I general I can’t stand Th-Drama for this reason. What we do have is a fairy floss sweet show (sweet, no substance but you can’t help wanting more). Misunderstandings don’t last long. The FL may be forgiving but not tolerant. The ML may be territorial but he doesn’t meddle.
If you like angsty and twisty plots then a highly recommend that you don’t bother watching this show - you will be disappointed.

It's a cliche and a mess!!!
This drama started well the characters also were compromising at the start but then started the cliche after 2 or 3 eps it turned into a mess I really got annoyed by the fl's dumb stupid character I liked her in the start she was cute but then again she turned dumb the ml seriously was only goodlooking that's it how could ge get associated with rena after he had relationship with fl and he was like he was protecting the fl but it was quite opposite he was'nt honest with her and all that cliche but the actors did a good jobI wouldn't recommend this to anyone to only ppl who wanna kill time can watch it and if u like such cliches u can watch it
The above review was only my personal opinion on this drama no offense to any drama lover

No brainer but steamy!!!
Actually, this was as much fun as Coffee and Vanilla. If you like that kind of vibe that is just plain steamy with a story to go around it, then delight yourself in this one! I liked the two main characters. The FL played the naïve but intelligent girl really well, and of course our ML was to drool over. So no complaints! I thought their acting was great! If you are looking to critique an involved, complex storyline, you won't be able to find a trace of that. So why even criticize it? Sometimes we just need a getaway. It's funny, this is one show that I waited for each episode to come out! And I am a "Story of Yanxi Palace" kind of mystery and intrigue complex story watcher! There was just something about it that was fun to watch! Great ending too! Enjoy! It's funny all those edits criticizing the submissive, innocent girl types, yet those bottom bitches submitting and being all naïve in the BL shows they drool over. Hmmmm...Was this review helpful to you?
Not Good Enough
Thai Drama 'Oh My Boss' had all the elements to create a swoon-worthy love story, alas, it didn't use them. The main problem is the relationship itself. The girl is a delight to watch, as she is not only entertaining, she also does a great job with her performance. However, her partner was too forceful right from the start and he wanted to look authoritative but failed to do so. His past needed more time to be properly explained, to give the opportunity to the viewers to connect with him better and look at him more as a human than the 'Boss'. Unfortunately, everything was rushly explained. The whole love story was, in fact, based on the principle of a few happy scenes, plenty of crying ones, usually from the girl's side. The side characters, finally, were only there to fill in the gaps and talk to the leads, and they had no other porpuse nor story to back up.
So, overall 3.5 out of 10.
