Low budget series, but I liked it overall. (It might have helped that I visited that exact 7-11 store during my trip to Bangkok, so it brings back good memories.)

For me, the actor that played Gavin was quite adorable. Cho was kind of dull and not much of a hottie in looks or personality, so I didn't really understand both Gavin and San drooling over him. I was more interested in the Toss/Tin dynamic, with Toss's son thrown in for good measure. Tin was very much the cutie! The actress that played Toss's wife was deliciously hate-worthy (I love a good bitchy character, lol!).

The other characters were cute, but throwing some of them together at the end seemed rushed and not plausible. Cho's mom was supposed to be cool I guess, but somehow I just didn't like her. (Sorry.)

All in all, this was a nice way to spend my time, I looked forward to it. Nothing special, but pleasant. I'm giving it a 5.5 overall.

And a special thanks to Thaiblfan92 for subbing the whole series!

This series was subbed by a kind subber that allowed us fans to watch this series till end. It was a little predictable, especially coming down to the end, but it was an okay series.

Story-5.5
I guess cause of how long it took for the series to be fully subbed, that I honestly forgot some of the storyline. So, I advise people to watch it all in one go or watch it over again from the beginning. Cause I have honestly forgotten what happened in the earlier episodes. I still gave it a five for what I do remember and thw last two episodes. I am also giving this score cause of how Toss stood up to his wife, who abandoned him and his baby for Tin, who he now loved. And also for Cho's mother- she was cool. I did give it a low score cause I honestly am annoyed with third characters, who think they deserve a chance to be with the two MC's. And also that third couple ( eventhough they weren't fully a couple) kind of felt a wee bit forced for me as the girl really didn't show that she liked the guy. I mean, okay, they are now together but still, it felt off to me.

Acting/Cast-5
Their acting was okay, as this is looking like their first acting gig.

Music-5
Music was really not here or there with me, which is usually my norm.

Rewatch Value-4
I don't really think that I will watch this series anytime soon as there really was nothing that held my interest to say that I will watch it again.

Overall-5
It started off cute and different but then the last two episodes just annoyed me so much. I can't even remember half of the things that happened in this series due to how long ago I started to watch it.

Greatly overlooked.

I would say this is a hidden gem. Sure it had its flaws, and the plot wasn't anything new, but it was charming and dealt well with those typical BL tropes we're all tired of seeing. Although the budget was low, this was better than many of the high-budget BL's. The acting wasn't bad or cringey. The actors seemed comfortable with each other. Gawin and Cho had great chemistry. Their kiss was one of the best I've seen in a while, at least in a Thai BL. I didn't understand Cho's mom. It was fine that her son had a boyfriend, but if it were anyone else, it wouldn't be fine? Huh?

Tin and Toss were also cute. I always love seeing couples in BL's who have or take care of a child together. It was just adorable. I can't say that their kisses were that great, though. Anyway, I loved Tin's talk with his friend. He definitely needed the support, and his friend provided him with that. His friend explained it very well in a non-offensive way. He spoke incredibly wisely. Most of the time in these BL's, if you ask a supposedly straight guy what he thinks of two guys being together, he'll either be disgusted or say he doesn't care. Tin's friend gave him actual advice. It was lovely to see. Toss was a bit pushy with Tin sometimes. He stood his ground when his awful "wife" came back, though. He told her outright that he was in love with Tin and made sure Tin also knew that.

In general, most of the problems that arose were quickly dealt with and weren't too bothersome. Both San and Vee accepted defeat and didn't get too much in between Cho and Gawin. One thing that really bothered me was the stereotypical predatory gay character. I'm so tired of their presence in pretty much every Thai BL ever. It's not funny. It's harassment.

Different from other BL series

The BL series is low bundget but unqiue in a way. I thought it was going to be average. I did enjoy even thought it had some flaws. I really enjoy the two couples Tin x Tos and Gavin x Cho. I did enjoy how the BL series did not foucs on engineering students. I notice most BL series focus on them being medical or engineering students. It gets boring after awhile. I did enjoy how it did not follow in that path. I would love to see more of Tin since he is so adorable. I did not regert watching it since its different. Tin and Gavin work as motorcycle taxi driver. Cho works in the 7-11 that Tos is the manger of that store. I did enjoy how Tos did stood up for Tin when his annoying ex wife Praw came back. I did not like how she thought that abandoning them was a right choice. Praw is the only character I did not like in this series.

Compared to the other projects, a weaker series, which at first seemed to me that maybe it wasn't even Thai, but Laotian (including the cast). Gradually it was possible, I was approached mainly by Gawin, I agree with Nioba about the Tin-Toss couple, but what Toss did in the last episode for "pushing", it's a shame to talk, he wouldn't even play the toadstool with me ... Thanks for the translation .

Surprisingly Charming

This is actually a pretty good series. It was charming, sensitive, and had some very good characters in them. I loved the unusual story line about the married man and his companion. That was quite interesting and they made it plausible. It is a sweet love story that culminates in family acceptance as well. You can't get any better than that. Thanks for the English translation. I just love these off-the-wall series with no real big budget but great story lines. They were also not afraid to show some everyday scenarios between gay couples that I really liked (sneaking a peek of his friend naked body; the guy invading the shower space surprising him doing something creative). It is entertaining but could have done without the over-the-top male gay character in the story. A bit much. I also found using 'Fatty' to describe/call one of the female store clerks cringeworthy. This may be a translation issue but those terms are just not appropriate and should not be used. I have posted my complete review of this cute little BL on my (free) blog at ppbongi.medium.com if you are interested in reading it. Hope you enjoy!
