both drama set in different era one is modern another is historic

drama aspects have also a huge different in ming lan families make trouble for couple other side love now families cherish couple relation

so...what aspect is comman in both dramas both couples are understanding and respectful toward each other they maturely handle their issues

initially both girl hesitate to accept boy but boys make that comfort level so the girls can enjoy their life

boys are not like typical husband who have ego or try to use their authority

i'm really impressed with this couple hope people enjoy as much as i enjoyed

thanks

Both female leads have medical illnesses, Both male leads are handsome. both dramas are sad/emotiona/good the only difference is the female lead in lavender dies from her illness, and the female lead in Love, Now survived from her illness.

After his sudden rise to stardom, the actor Liu Yu Ming, nicknamed Bian Dang (Lunch Box), overruled his agency's objections and decided to get married. When the news spread, chaos reigned. His fans were very upset about his impending wedding and fights broke out outside the church. Then, they found out... the bride was a no-show. In the ensuing chaos, Bian Dang and his makeup artist, Xiao Qing, put on disguises and sneaked past the paparazzi.

The aggressive paparazzi forced Bian Dang to go into hiding. With no home to go back to, Xiao Qing introduced him to a strange place called "The Escape Pod." Everyone there wanted to run away from their old lives. There was Poki who tried to escape his debt in Japan, Wen Zi Yu (Fish) who was running away from home, and there was the owner of The Escape Pod, Chuan Tou (The Captain). In this place, they began a magical love story of running away from and being ran away from.

Yang Yi Ru, as a workaholic never had time for a holiday. After Yang Yi Ru was conned by her family and friends that she had been diagnosed with cancer and had only six months to live, she was sent aboard for a holiday to help her take a break from her job, before she even had time to respond to the shocking news she had just discovered. Still a state of shock from discovering she only had six months left, Yi Ru met Lan Shi De, who was on a business trip. When Yi Ru told Shi De that she only has six months left to live and that one of her dream was to get married and have kids, Shi De proposed to Yi Ru. Not knowing that Shi De actually had met her years ago and had fallen in love with her since that time, Yi Ru accepted his proposal.

I was finished with the first episode when MSR reminded me of a taiwanese show I watched years ago... I had to go digging the filmography of Annie Chen to recall the name - Love, Now. Both start with a one night stand (steamy scenes in both shows) and the female protagonist bails without leaving nay info. Guy goes searching for his love. Guy stumbles on his love and gets his revenge by making her miserable because let's face that how mature guys are anyways. Anyways, they pick on the girl they each like and she gets fed up even though she has feelings for the guy and then begins they make up again to get married. MSR ends there but Love, Now goes beyond marriage.

Love Now and jojo world have very similar storylines... both are different in many ways ( especially how the male lead characters are) but they both remind me of each other. So if you loved either show I would highly recommend the other.

Both involve:

+ a rushed wedding under unique circumstances
+ ML enters the marriage consciously because he loves the FL while the FL enters the marriage for a different reason (illness in Love Now and inebriation in CHFiL)
+ the ML is a sweet character, younger than the FL
+ ML is head-over-heels in love, has loved the FL for a long time
+ both have a beach setting and travel/vacation as a theme
+ terminal illness as a major theme

Love, Now is a long-form Taiwanese drama while Can't Help Falling in Love is a Filipino movie
