SOOOOO GOOD
Before this drama, my favourite all-time drama was Kill Me, Heal Me, but somehow this drama topped that one.---STORY---
The story was AMAZING. Sooo many plot twists that actually make sense and contribute to the story, and there are 0 filler episodes. Every single SECOND of the drama was important and meaningful. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I first started watching, but it turned out to be SO amazing. I cried so much throughout the drama, my eyes are like permanently puffy.
---ACTING/CAST---
I think we can all agree that EVERY single cast member was AMAZING. I first saw Moon Chae-won in Running Man, and BOYYY she is so talented. Lee joon-gi was really good in Scarlet Heart, but his acting in this drama was beyond amazing. He played both an unemotional, unfeeling psychopath, a loving dad and husband, and a crazed man. Kim Ji-hoon is new to me, but he was genuinely SO scary in the drama I nearly cried out of fear every time I saw him. That's how good he was. I loved Jang Hee-jin and Geo Hyun-woo as well (also new to me). Literally every secondary character no matter how small their role was really well casted and well done.
---MUSIC---
There were two distinct theme songs that I remember from this drama, but none left the same effect as Auditory Hallucination (KMHM). The creepy background music literally made me cry out of fear and it really made the scary moments so much scarier.
---OVERALL---
I can't even begin to explain how amazing this drama is. I seriously recommend you watch the first episode and you'l automatically be hooked. I would definitely rewatch this, 100 times over and never get sick of it. It's one of those.

Don't miss this one.
Well I don't give every drama a 10/10. But this one really deserve it.It has been in my watchlist ever since it started airing. But was delaying the watch coz of its cast. I don't know, I'm not a big fan of them. Let me say this review in parts.
1. Cast.
One of the main reasons to watch this drama. Lee Joon Gi, the lead, his acting is extra ordinary. Certain scenes from this drama went straight into my heart just because of his acting. Moon Chae Won on the other hand done a brilliant job to her character. I think the reason the director could portray the theme of the story as it is because of the leads and their brilliance in acting.
2. Story.
I do think that only Koreans can came up with these kinda stories. It's thrilling, it's heartwarming, it makes us smile, it makes us cry and most importantly, it have a beautiful romance. Everything u can expect from a thriller come romantic drama.
3. Yh.. personally, I think OST's make a huge role in dramas. But I don't usually pay attention to them(except for globin, CLOY, DOTS,WWWSK & Kill Me Heal Me.) This one also have a beautiful sound track to each situations.
One of the best dramas I strongly recommend.
These above mentioned 3 are enough to watch this drama.
Have a good day.

Getting to the drama~
This is the best suspense thriller drama that I've seen in months. 'Flower of Evil', after watching the drama I still don't get why it's name's that so I hope somebody can tell me that. There are many suspense thrillers out there in which the ending is going to be clear from episode 3 or 4 but it's not one of them, it's super addictive and the suspense is so killing..
Story: 10.0
The plotline must have taken a lot of them to think of. It's a true masterpiece. There were some coincidences that were hard to believe (I'm not revealing what coincidences since it would be a major spoiler then). I really loved how the past was revealed in the starting of the drama. I hoped the drama would tell us what became of Do Hyun Su's mother after she left, I hope if there's a part 2 this is included. I would also like to know what happened to Cha Ji Won and Do Hyun Su afterwards. I really liked the fact that the writer kept in his mind that Baek Hee Sung has been in coma for 15 years so he's not sly enough for the advancement in development, in many dramas the person wakes up from coma after many years and after 2 days he's very well settled with all the new things and devices and all. I really liked how the drama was only 16 episodes long but the story unfurled slowly and steadily which made it interesting. I also really liked the fact that all the misunderstanding the main couple had got cleared fast.
The story took a sharp twist at the end, I didn't expect it would turn out like that (the amnesia and the fact that was revealed about the death of the village chief). I think the last episode was a bit hurried up, the writer seemed to want to finish the story right there.
Anyways, this is a VERY UNDERRATED DRAMA.. too underrated I would say. This plotline was really really nice and so I totally recommend you to see this.
Acting/Cast: 10.0
⨠Lee Joon Gi as Baek Hee Sung and Do Hyun Su, his acting was really nice. He seemed to fit into the character really well. He actually made it seem like he could not feel things and he was really frustrated to find out what that kind of felling was that he had for Cha Ji Won.
⨠Moon Chae Won as Cha Ji Won, she's one of my favourite actresses, (and we even share our birthday) she's very underrated in the drama world despite her superb visuals and acting. She's one of the actresses who could really make me cry in the emotional scenes. I would like to appreciate her most for that since the emotional scenes she did seemed so much real. Her smile looked fake when it should have and real when it should have. So, choosing her was the best thing the director did.
⨠Seo Hyun Woo as as Kim Moo Jin, he really made it look like he was annoyed from whatsoever was going on. He was very great with his acting and the emotional scenes too, I hoped his character would have a happy ending with Do Hae Soo.
⨠Jang Hee Jin as Do Hae Su, she did really well fit into the character as well. She really seemed like a heroine when she protected Baek Eun Ha from the real Baek Hee Sung, I totally loved it.
Every other actor and actress did very well as well but I would like to really appreciate the acting of 6 of them:
⨠Jung Seo Yeon as Baek Eun Ha, she was so lovely in her acting. Superb work for such a little kid.
⨠Park Hyun Joon as Do Hyun Su [Young], he did really well in the role.
⨠ Im Na Young as Do Hae Soo [Young], she did portray the kind Do Hae Soo as well as Jang Hee Jin did.
⨠Jung Taek Hyun as Kim Moo Jin, he did really well when he saw the person in Do Min Seok's underground place where the unthinkable happened.
⨠ Kim Ji Hoon as Baek Hee Sung, he played really well the innocent side and the psychopath side.
⨠ Choi Byung Mo as Do Min Seok, he did really well in his ruthless and heartless character.
Music: 10.0
The music was really nice.
Rewatch Value: 9.0
Of course, there's no value in watching the whole drama again since you already know it's plotline and what will come next but still the romantic scenes can be enjoyed.
Hope it wasn't boring.
I hope you would just go ahead and have a try on this drama.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of love <3

Good suspense with engrossing romance
Deserves the hype! You know it's a good suspense thriller when stakes are high, it's just the right amount of bonkers crazy, and you're worried as heck about the fate of the leads on the show that you can't stop playing that next episode.
I admit I'm weak for this type of romance, a bit messed up, high stakes, tortured misunderstood hero and the love and trust of a good woman despite the odds, and everybody even fate are turning their backs on him. He obviously cares for his family and jumps hoops for them, but he can't express it as we do.
Ji Won understandably felt very betrayed by all the lies, but later on remembers all the everyday little things her husband does for her. The way he takes care of Eun Ha, he cooks for them, comforts her when she is stressed out at work, it doesn't need to be grand. He was always there for her.
I have to say Moo Jin has to be my fave character on the show. His frenemy relationship with Hyun Su (Lee Jun Ki) is both comical and fascinating. He half-hates Hyun Su but assists all the time, he just can't help it, and gets caught up in all the Do siblings troubles. Never expected it to be like that, after their first tense encounter. And his rekindled romance with Hae Soo, I ship them so badly.
Kim Ji Hoon definitely needs to be in more dramas again, looking crazy good with that long hair. (spoilers) Because of the highs of the show, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the ending, I understand why the writer gave Hyun Su some memory loss, it's a chance for him to be reborn without all the burdens. But the execution was a bit chunky. Oh well, it's been a good run, and hopefully serves as reminder to look beyond initial prejudice and biases.

Flower of Evil is one of my fave kdrama this year
FLOWER OF EVILThis is one of my favorite Kdrama this year.
I highly recommend this suspense-melodrama.....
You'll be surprised and thrilled with every episode. The storyline is very interesting that totally hit right through your heart as you can feel their emotions. It has an upredictable twist that makes you frustrate, curious, and excited in each episode.
Drama meaning is learning how to trust yourself, to the people around you and to the one you precious the most; finding true happiness and it shows how powerful could love is. Its all about Endurance, suffering, Patience, Trust, Healing and above all is LOVE.
🌺🌺 Lee Joon-gi is such a brilliant actor, he nailed the character as a Psychopath husband who was haunted by his past; from emotionless to a loving and caring family man.
🌺🌺 Moon Chae-won is an outstanding actress too. she effectively defined the character, I can feel Ji-won's pain and disappointment to the man he deeply love, yet as a wife she never loses hope ,trust and love for his husband as she did everything to protect him, to understand and changed him.
🌺🌺 Every character did a great job, and the little child is adorable as well.

One of my favorite dramas of all time and definitely the best 2020 drama
If you're considering whether to watch this or not, this your sign: watch it. I promise you won't regret it.I first started watching Flower of Evil with very low expectations thinking I would end up dropping it after the first episode but 5 minutes later I was completely hooked and couldn't stop watching anymore.I watched it all in one day and even stayed up all night just to finish it.
I never liked suspense/ criminal dramas but this one was so different, it made me cry, it made me laugh, it made me angry, it was a completely new experience and I loved every single second of it. It's easily one of the most beautiful dramas I've ever seen and it became one of my favorites way before I even finished it
Needless to say, I feel like I'll be rewatching this very very soon, I felt really empty after finishing it and having no more episodes to watch and I miss the characters a lot.
Love it and can't stop recommending it to everyone, please watch Flower of Evil!!

Loved this!
I have actually never seen any of the leads' previous works. But after watching this, they are high up on the list of my favorite couples.Flower of Evil was very unique. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I am missing the cast already.
The story was well written except for one thing. The amnesia angle at the end. Felt like it didn't need to be written that way at all. It left the story open to some speculations on what happens next.
The characters all did justice to their roles. I loved Eun ha! She was super cute and did really well in delivering her lines. When actors and actresses can make you believe the character they are playing, that is when you know just how good they are.
Another actor that really shone was the one who played Baek hee Song. The looks, the voice, wow! he made the character someone to be scared about
I cannot wait for the next project of Lee Joon Gi. Hoping for a rom com with Park Min Young

Simply Amazing
"Flower of Evil" is simply one of the best shows I have watched to this date. This sounds very biased but if at the end of the show, if they went thier seperate ways I wouldv'e given this show a 9.5 and not a 10. That's how much I wanted a good ending and thank the heavens I got what I wanted. This drama is literally everything I couldv'e want in a kdrama; I love the whole ML is a "Evil" charcater and he slowly shows himself to someone close to him, also the whole suspense part hits every point it should do in a suspense thriller. This is personally my favourite Suspense Triller show, it even has romace between the two main characters in which just adds to the dynamics of this drama. When I first saw the drama's synopsis it basically shouted my name since this is my type of kdrama, also it has my favourite female actress as the main female Moon Chae Won in which i was patiently waiting for another drama from her and here I got it.
First off Do Hyun Soo, in which in my opinion is the most complex character in this show. He had a horible past which atributed to his Anti Personality Disorder and also the people around him. I've realised after watching this and another drama similar to this called "Come and Hug Me" in which the ML father is a pyschopath like Hyun Soo's father that both fathers tried to make thier son just like them calling them a piece of art and tried to mold them to however they want. But in both dramas they both get saved by the girl that they love. In Hyun Soo's case it was a bit more complicated than just "Love" but he instinctivly loved Cha Ji Won even if he didn't realise it and even if he said he didn't love her because he believes that he doesn't know the feeling of love so he can't know if he feels it. Halfway through the show when his identity was found out and he had that breakdown that he would have to leave Ji Win, we see him cry for the first time and I had to search online can people with ASPD cry and it seems that they can feel sadness in a way. Due to him have enhanced cognitive abilities, he can read peoples emotions and this is how he never had fights with Ji Won because she would detect if she was feeling anoyed an knew exactly what she wants.
Cha Ji Won was all I couldv'e asked for in a FL, and also she was played by the amazing Moon Chae Won in which I want to watch her future dramas and any work she does. Ji Won as a character was a very straightforward person as she insisted that Hyun Soo liked her and put her feelings out there, but this was a trait I actually like because it meant that they had no misunderstandings. In a way she is very naive and a bit dumb because when she first met him she didn't realise the fact he was a bit wierd and also his past that he described to her. You could say that "Love" blinded her senses and made her just see the man infront of her. Even when she found out that Hee Seong was Hyun Soo she still believed him with what he said which just shows how much she loves him and wants to trust him.
Ji Won and Hyun Soo's child is literally so cute and when we see the 3 of them hug at the end of the show, it made me cry tears of hapiness which I can't remember the last time I felt that.
This might be the first time to where I trully liked the antogonist, not liked in the fact I rooted for him, but liked in the fact he was a good enemy for Hyun Sooand Ji Won. He was very meticulous with himself to the point he was in control of his parents and was quite samrt but his downfall was that he was stuck in 2005 and didn't realise that technology has advanced and got caught on a dash cam. Hyun Soo's father is also a big character in this show even if he wasn't shown much, this was because he had such a big impact in Hyun Soo to the point Hyun Soo would see him even after he died and be kind of controlled for a bit.
The OST in this show was literally so good, I love when dramas have only a few OST and all 3 are so good, they all have different vibes in the fact they all carry different emotions which can carry a scene and just make you sucked into the world.
Overall this show is so good and you should watch it no matter what your tastes are because this drama will give you a new breath of fresh air as I belive thier is not a show like this ( Well besides "Come and Hug Me" in which had similar cases with the pyshopath father and the son who isn't "normal" but get saved by people they love). If there really is a show like this please tell me and I would love to watch it.

Worth every minute
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this show. The story was captivating, the performances were exquisite and the production was just excellent. I'm often skeptical about everything I watch but this had me from the very first episode. I loved how they explored the complexities of a character learning how to identify and understand emotions even though he wasn't sure he felt them. Everyone clearly brought their A-game for this drama and it shows. I wish I could watch it again for the first time just so I could experience those thrills again. Was this review helpful to you?
Amazing drama!!!
At first I was very skeptical of watching a drama with already a married couple. This year I watched dramas such as Memorist, Lawless Lawyer, Voice, and Mad Dog. These dramas don't focus on romance plot so I decided to give this drama a shot. I absolutely loved every moment of it except the ending. It was still a very AMAZING drama with AMAZING acting and ost's. The acting was top class and the main actor is so handsome!! The way he learned that he had the ability to feel emotions broke me and I was so happy. Whatever, this drama is a freaking rollercoaster. If you enjoy crime dramas give this drama a try!!! Also, I will rewatch this drama a year later. Was this review helpful to you?
Thrilling ride of a masterpiece
This is the first review I have ever written and probably the most deserving. This whole drama keeps you at the edge of your seat wondering if you should root for the ML or be scared of him. He is the best antihero possible. You know that many of his choices are questionable at best and downright scary at worst, but still your are pulled in by Baek He Sung( Man Lee Joon GI can sure act). His eyes convey everything in spite of how expression less he seems.
The supporting cast are also wonderful... you end up feeling sorry for the most unlikeliest characters. Also whoever chose Kim Ji Joon for his role nailed it. He is one actor I never expected to shine so much . He kept on par with the ML.
So just watch it you will be missing a gem if you don’t.
