Love protects Love

Had dropped but wanted to see the ending. The actor portrayed a cunning, manipulative, strong, cold YET in-love man who happen to be king, he delivered this flawlessly-WELL DONE! The end of this story delivered the heartfelt love these two felt throughout their span, despite the kings ability to HOT or COLD anyone. Glad I watched this ending, and glad they romanticized this tragic and important part of history_Korean history.

....

One of the strongest historical dramas i've ever watched! i should thank the cast for their great work they did pretty amazing specially in the last episodes..
So sad that Ok Jung had to kill herself in the end. Watching her die because of a crime she didn't committed omoo.... :'( i don't think there's something more cruel than this..

Pheew...

For a moment there, I feared this would have an alternate ending. I'm glad it stuck to the way she ended, even if the reasons were glorified. I can live with that.

What amazes me about the ending of this drama is that my eyes were completely dry and I am a big crybaby when it comes to dramas. Not one tear. I only cried when In Hyun died. That was sad.

I really hated that "Dong Yi" was so "evil"in this drama. I mean, I always thought she must have been a bit sly on real life, but not this bad. Anyways, I'm 90 percent satisfied with the ending. I'll give it an 8, even if I was bored through all the mushy stuff, because the actors did do a great job. I would have sobbed if I had been pro Jang Ok Jung.
