I think (almost) we all agree in something

Today i was changing the scores of some of the dramas ive seen and i saw this had 8.5 so i felt the need of writing a review.

Actually this wasnt BAD but it wasnt the best series ive seen. I saw this series while being on air so it might different for the people who will watch it afterward.
While the first half of the show was airing (phayurain's part) i can't say i wasnt enjoying it but after the 2nd part (prapaisky story) aired i definetely can tell the 2nd story was 1000 times better.

1st part: I dont hate it but it was plotless, like, they just be a hot motorcyclist and a cute student meeting and then falling in love. NOTHING ELSE. I was trying to explain the series to a friend of mine when it was airing to convice her to watch it and i couldnt like seriously it has no plot.
Aside from that, the chemistry and kiss/bed scenes saved it and made it more enjoyable.
They had some cringe-watching scenes but it coulve been worse since its a thai series lol
Their story itself doesnt require a outstanding acting so there's no much to talk about, just an average thai-acting from them.
If you don't mind the lack of plot and story and youre here for the cuteness and a hot couple kissing. go ahead.

2nd story: This one was way more deep and complex than the 1st half
At first I thought they were like the second couple, but it turned out to be ?two main couples? (kind of confusing when airing but youll quickly understand that they changed leads in the 2nd half)
Yes, I'm kinda biased of them specially sky, he's my fav character of the show since ep 1 bc we're very much alike (except the trauma part lol) but he definetely made phayurain's and his story way more funnier. He also added this depth missing in the series and the actor's acting was top-tier too.
I cried w their story, you'll definetely connect a bit more with them.
Their kiss and bed scenes were also enjoyable, good chemistry.
My 8.5 score was definetely bc of this half of the show it woulve been lower if it was only 1st couple focused
-but as i was writing this i lowered it to 8.0 hehe :b

(You can also only watch pp-sky story, it is from ep 8 till the end if im not wrong)

Music: I dont remember anything so..
Acting: as i said before, 2nd story has better acting, nothing incredible too but not bad.

If someday i rewatch this series it would be prapai sky story.

nothing else to add i love u sky mwah ^_^

Ride It, We In Control, Ride It Ride It!!!!! (This series is for MATURE Audience 18 & over)

While watching the 2nd half, I wish they gave more episodes to Prapai & Sky.
Their story could have being a complete seperate series but loop in Phayu & Sky
in it, just a longer version for both stories.

It also accrue to me that this is a pattern or habit the writer MAME use to induce these trauma
scenes in all her novels, It’s not necessary to keep adding it in all her work.
In real life if this may happen to someone you know as a friend or have dated,
you would help that person to get professional help, in this case there is no recovery period
for Sky, he did not tell his best friend Rain and held everything inside until Prapai came
along which he still had a hard time to accept that someone can still love him after all
what he experienced with his ex. They only needed to show what happened to Sky earlier
in the series then he would have healed by the time he met Prapai, the throwback came too
late and this is what disconnected me with my mix feelings.
The writer just needed to add recovery in her trauma writing pattern to have a smoother
story telling. Budgeting can also be an issue as well.

I watch dramas for different reasons, sometime it's because I am a fan of the lead actors or
like this I was just watching because
I enjoyed MAME work on TharnType and I was hoping she did not ad the trauma too much
in this drama which she sprinkled it in Prapai/Sky episodes then went for
the kill on the last episode and thats where it felt rushed and no atmosphere for a more
fluffy ending but the Kiss scene on the Balcony had a nice head tilt from Prapai and I can
live with that lol.

Favorite duo >> Favorite actor >> Ratings
For the most part of it, I enjoyed the series immensley.
My favorite part of the story is Phayu/Rain. My favorite episode was #12 with Prapai/Sky.
My favorite actor overall is Fort (Prapai), He has a good engagement with his eyes
and body posture, it's just beautiful to watch him chase Peat (Sky) who also did an
amazing job playing a victim of abuse and enduring it to fall in-love again with Prapai.
Boss is the flavour and gave jaw dropping NC scenes and Noeul just went for the ride!
Prapai gave good care and attention to Sky and also had beautiful NC scenes!
I hope others can see some beauty in this drama and cheer on these first time actors on
this beautiful series. I rate it 9/10 since the beginning and will remain that way.
Overall It's enjoyable for the most parts. Totally recommend for anyone haven't yet
watched it. I love and wish them all the best Boss/Noeul, Fort/Peat 💕🌸

Writing 8.5/10 >>Direction 9/10 >>Cinematography 9.5/10 >> Production Value 8.5/10

Acting>>> The 4 main leads have done a great job on their characters, but some did
a little better and this is my score:
#1 = Fort portrayal as Prapai 10/10
He did an amazing job, very smooth, good eye engagement,
follow his sub and did a great job chasing him. His dialog were delivered flawlessly and great
body posture for framing. My favorite episode in the eititre series was #12, Prapai called
Sky from 3 different phones until he finally answered, the tears roled down on Pai's face
got me crying too, then the scene with the notebook he read out all what Sky wrote about
him, had me tearing up again, this whole episode was just so beautiful and Fort just embraced
his dialog and his eye engagement the most affective way that wheeled me in.
He just moved his body so alluring and the cameraman must have had a great time filming him.

#2 = Boss portrayal as Phayu 9/10
Boss is the reason this Series ratings went up! he gave us a beautiful and yet provocative
NC scene and his sub just went with it for the joy ride, I am guilty to rewind multiple time
and Boss did that to us. The reason I took off 1 point because his eye gave did not melt me
as much as Fort but came close. He looks like an Anime, you just need to copy & paste.
I think the director had way too much fun directing their love scenes cause I sure enjoyed
watching him.

#3 = Nouel portrayal as Rain 8.5/10
Nouel was feisty but fun, he was also very brave and fun to watch.
His dialog were the funniest and laughed alot because of Rain. Rain thought he
spotted Phayu first in the Rain scene but, but that was not the first time Phayu saw
Rain and I loved how Rain played the role of pursuing Phayu but only Phayu knew he
was the one that actually lured in Rain to his world.
I also loved the chemistry Rain & Phayu had. Again the camera must
have had alot of fun capturing that ride scene of Rain!!!

#4 = Peat Portrayal as Sky 8.5/10
Peat is such a babe, he truly played his character well, at first I did not understand
why his good mood changed to being moody but after watching the last episode
I understood he had alot on his plate. I gave him and Nouel the same ratings because
they played their roles simialar. The best episode for Sky was with Prapai after the
notebook when Sky cried and finally told Prapai he loved him too. BRAVO!!!

I will rewatch again! It's not for children, recommend to age 18 and over.

This Serie is the BEST

Love in the air will always be my favorite bl and serie. I have rewatched it so many times and it never gets bad. ❤️❤️🥹 For me i like Prapai and Sky more but i love Phayu and Rain too❤️
The couples has so much Chemistry in real life too. For me I think that FortPeat has more and better Chemistry in real life then on screen but it is still PERFECT on screen too. You should definitely watch it!!!!

Another hit and miss by Mame

How this Mame person is still writing BL stories and hasn't been chased out of Thailand, tarred and feathered, is beyond me. This woman is built entirely of gay stereotypes and not even the good ones at that... Seriously, stalking, forcing oneself onto someone and rape leading to romance is something that just does not happen. Ever! The "words say no, but body says yes" trope is beyond despicable. If the "words say no", it doesn't matter what the body says. It's no, just NO! I managed to get through 6 episodes of this insufferable drivel, trying hard to see past the many, many flaws, but in the end it was just too intolerable. Cringe acting (especially by Noeul and Fort), horrible sound, repetitive and stretched out scenes, gratuitous semi porn scenes,... If I would have to find one redeeming feature, it would be the music. Steer clear. In fact: steer clear of anything that has sprung from the sick and twisted mind of Mame.

incredibly overhyped -->

the way everyone was raving about this drama i expected it to be good and well rounded but instead its Cutie Pie 2.0.

there is a semblance of plot initially but it is very quickly abandoned. plot and any sense of story is lost to make way for explicit kissing and sex scenes which is the reason most people seem to be enjoying this show. the writing is weak and the acting is consistently not the best

i really tried to give this a chance but i couldn't put up with this anymore. hope to see better quality for thai bls in the future.

rating reflects what i did manage to sit through

Why do I do this to myself: the series

I should've known this series would turn out this way, it's Mame ffs, SA and toxicity are her specialty so I only have myself to blame for watching it.

I had hope for this one especially after Rain and Payu's storyline, because while they had some parts that had me side-eyeing the plot, it was still watchable, possibly enjoyable even, despite it being infested with typical 2015 BLs undertones/tropes, I was still able to enjoy their plot, hell I was about to rate this, a Mame series, a 7.5/10 and that's basically unheard of especially coming from me, but then they had to hit us with the PrapaiSky storyline and now I don't wanna watch it anymore. True, I did like some of their moments but their whole relationship dynamic ticked me off and I found myself skipping a lot of their story, the latest episode just served to further solidify my dislike for their story, was it the acting was it the setting for them idk if I'm being honest, but I'm thoroughly uncomfortable watching their side of the equation so I'm dropping it, even if there's only one more episode to go, I'm not gonna bother with watching it because I know my rating for this would drop even further, so I'll keep it at that. The current rating is mostly because of the PayuRain storyline because if I'm being honest, the other couple's storyline wouldn't have gotten anything more than a 4 from me, if I had to rate solely based on each couple's part it would be:

Episode 1-7 :
Plot: 7.5/10
Cast: 8/10
Music: 5.5/10
Rewatch value: 4/10
Overall rating: 7.3/10

Episode 8-12:
Plot: 5/10
Cast: 5/10
Music: 5/10
Rewatch value: 3/10
Overall rating: 4.5/10

My final rating is somewhere in the middle if we're taking into consideration both parts. I really thought this was gonna be different, but I guess I shot myself in the foot with this one, alas, it is what it is, I hope the rest can enjoy this series, I'm sorry if I couldn't really help with anything insightful but honestly I'm super tired and I really don't know what I'm typing at this point, but have a nice day/night everyone, hope you enjoy your watch.

The best bl series ever.

Boss and Noeul are wonderful, young actors who act so effortlessly and naturally that as a viewer you can feel every emotion they are living through. They have great chemistry and they are the best bl couple compared to all otgers in other series. Passion that they share is freely shown on the screen which is cream on cake for bl series. I recommend this series to be watched because I am sure Boss and Noeul will leave viewers in an ocean of emotions and speachless in the end. Boss Noeul have put some high level standard how bl actors should work together and potray their roles. I cant express myself in a way that would do justice to these serie and Boss Noeul, I can only say to the reader of my comment to watch this serie and everything will be understood by itself. ❤

This has become one of top 3 fav BL shows ever!
The chemistry between the two actors so far is amazing and the plot is really interesting too! Looking forward to seeing the new episodes every week! Totally rewatching it after it finishes.
Some BL series really set the bar high so I hope to see more of good BLs out there with actual chemistry between the actors and an interesting plot. Also, as a huge fan of bikes myself I really enjoy the street racing concept!
Totally recommend this one!

A MASTERPIECE

I think i am one of a few people here who really loves this series. I enjoyed it so so much and every thursday felt like heaven. I want to comment on every point about both couples.

Let's start with PhayuRain:
This couple is really really cutee but i do agree that their storyline was a bit boring. I found them too cute and adorable that i didn't realise that it was actually so fast and there was like 0 storyline. I found it a bit sad and the kidnapping scene was a bit- well cringe :') But both actors suit their roles soo soo much.

As for the NC scene: i found it a bit weird how like confident Rain was at their second time. He has like 0 experience but how he talked was like he always did that. It didn't make sense but okay.

Now to PrapaiSky:
They are literally the reason why i give this series a 9,5. I am sorry but how fucking adorable could a couple be? I loved seeing how Prapai helped Sky through his trauma. I don't think Sky's trauma is fully gone but i believe with the time Sky will finally find peace in his sleep with his loved one next to him. I loved how Prapai went from the heartless playboy to the most caring person ever. Both of them needed to find the right person to be happy.

And i am so happy that their NC scene was more romantic than hot. It suited the storyline more. And yes their storyline was a 10/10 for me. A simple and wonderful love story.

Peat's acting was *chef's kiss*. Many thought that his crying wasn't good but the ones who read the book/spoilers know that he did a very good job. Fort's acting didn't hit me at the beginning but after a bit i was amazed of his acting. His eyes, his expressiones were sooo good. For a beginner main couple it is amazing!!

And overall, the onl horrible thing i found was the audio editing. I am sorry but did they hire an amateur? :') at first it was "okay" but after some episodes (especially in the PrapaiSky ones) it got sooo annoying. Like the music was sometimes louder than the actors voice? Or the sound when they were on the telephone? It sounded like an audio message but not lika a call. Plus the transitions to the next scene was weird too :') but well the storyline and cute couple saved it.

I am also very excited to see the special episode.

Sky and Prapai made it worth it

I had already written a review a while ago when only a few episodes where out and it was negative. I won't go into details since I think many reviews have already done it and my reasons are pretty much the same as everyone's, but I did not like Rain and Payu story. It's not like I hated it (there is much worse out there) but it just wasn't doing it for me, I almost dropped the show because of it but I am happy I kept going (even if by skipping on a few parts oops).
This is one of the reasons why I'm so glad the show was split in two and each couple could get the importance they deserve.
I absolutely loved Sky and Prapai story. Overall it felt much deeper, less cliché and the acting omg. It's not like the other actors were bad but Peat stood out so much for his performance, I couldn't believe it when I found out this is one of his first acting experiences. No spoilers but the last episode had me bawling my eyes out. I also saw a few reviews saying they didn't felt the chemistry with the second couple and I'm shook honestly, I really thought they were the cutest and their way of communicating was amazing.
This is why I'm so conflicted on the review too, overall I wouldn't give it a high rating but then by staying low I feel bad for the second couple because I seriously loved their episodes so yeah I advise you to mostly take this as Sky and Prapai story review lol

Sky deserves better

I made an account on this site just to say that Rain sucks as a friend. I'm watching ep 9 rn and this guy just gives the keys to someone who his friend has multiple times expressed as not liking. C'mon dude your best friend is sick, surely you can have someone being your work to you if you really need to do it gods.

As a more general review... I have almost dropped this series multiple times but then decided to power through and just skip any cringey or awkward parts which makes the episodes half as long. Idk sex scenes are fine, not feeling the chemistry between the first pair. Sky deserves better, him and Sig are my favourites.
