This drama is a very good drama, I loved how the main heroine went back in time to make a name for herself. Sense, back in her time nobody was interesting in her cooking. Besides, the romance she was able to accomplish her cooking skill and be next to her man that she fell in love with. The things that I didn't like was that the story did drag in the middle because of some of the unnecessary fighting or misunderstandings which of course I skipped. But the story was good in the end and they both got their happy ending.

I would definitely recommend watching, if you have time sense it is a long drama.

The BEST Remake Hands down! Unique

I don't know where to start with this review, this is the best Hana Yori Dango remake of all times. The characters all the way to the plot was amazing including the production.

Storyline/Plot: I loved the plot because it stayed true to the original source material, however I liked that they added their own uniqueness to it to make it more interesting. I enjoyed that they added symbolisms from what the characters were wearing from the colors down to the jewelry's, locations, and props. Furthermore, the characters had something meaning full about them despite how we are introduced to them. Also, they did a really great a good job by adding on to the message that Kamio was making when she wrote Hana Yori Dango. Moreover, I liked the way that they portrayed the relationship each of the characters. Even though, this version had a darker take, it was far more the most realistic. On the other hand, the one issue I had was that I didn't like how they portrayed Hana's character as she was more of a badass in the Japanese version.

Acting/Cast: This was my first time seeing Bright and Win, which I did go back to watch 2together while watching this so I could have more information on them both seeing how popular they are. Brights acting was good in here, he did a better job playing Thyme than Lee Min Ho did playing Jun Pyo. Even though Bright was 23-24 at the time, he could pass as a teenager/ highschooler. Furthermore, bright was really submerged in his role that you can't even tell that he is acting. The only issue that I had with Bright acting wise was that he needed to work on his more emotional scenes because he comes off as cringe or rather weird along with Tu. As for Win, I was skeptical with his portrayal of Kavin because I was used to him playing a character like Tine Teepakorn from 2gether, so I didn't know what to think about him playing Kavin. Yet, I was taking a back as I kept watching because he did so well that I couldn't imagine anyone playing Kavin but him. I like how he focuses on the character's emotions. As for the other actors, Dew and Nani they did an amazing job as well and I look forward to seeing their future work.

Music/Ost: I love all the Ost since everyone such as Bright, Dew, Nani, and Win all had they are part in the Ost. I love how all the actors had their Ost based off of their characters all the issues that they were struggling with. My favorite was Gavin, Bright's, and Win's song including Shooting star and Who am I?

In conclusion, I don't think in the near future that we would get another remake as good as this one since the Thai version has raised the bar TOO high. I am looking forward to all the actor's future works.

Worth the Watch

I am just going to list some things that I liked/dislike and can be improve about the special episode:

1. Phayu and Pai's friendship
2. Rain and Sky's friendship
3. NC scene (Daddy scene)
4. Expanded from the series
5. Rain's Kink
6. Vacation theme - it was different than most BL special episode as it felt liked written like a normal series would be and not the characters just popping up to a theme park or something.

Dislikes:
1. Lack of content - their should have been more scene's from both couples.
2. Short - the episode was short which sucked especially since we are covering two couples.
3. Production - it wasn't bad as the series but it was just like the first half of phayu and Rain's arc where the sound was okay but it could have been better.

In conclusion, to address the elephant in the room the pricing was not worth it granted the episode could have been longer, however I do recommend the episode itself as it was good. It was a good send off for the fans and the cast members as well.

Bad writing and Messaging

I'm very disappointed at GMMTV for giving Win this role and the other actors since this is the first time watching all the other actors except for Win. This show has a terrible storyline, at first it sounded really promising but it just fell short when actually being invented in the show itself. I think that GMM needs to invest in better writers since most of their shows are recycled and or just straight up safe. I would like them to go out of the box and make something that we, the viewers haven't seen.

Storyline/Plot: The plot sounded promising but actually watching the show it gets worse. I hate the fact that I was 12 episodes deep into the show and still I don't even know why Namcha is so invested into Irin. Like, what is so good about her that you have to be so clingy with her and Biase??? Furthermore, the plot is only moving forward because of Jin and Inn's character who I enjoy more since they are spicing up the show more unlike the main leads. Also, they spent an entire episode focusing on the Namcha and Irin having a nice moment together instead of utilizing that episode for something better. As for the message, I hate the fact that many are defending Namcha and Irin's actions. It didn't sit right with me when Namcha had got upset with Inn in the hospital after her car accident to tell her that they would never be together, I just felt like it was not the right time and also the fact that Inn already knew about his feelings for Irin this WHOLE ENTIRE SHOW. Furthermore, Inn was not in the mental condition to be even having that conversation at the moment so for him to bring it up in that moment was Disgusting. Moreover, people blaming Inn for things that she didn't even do and also the straight hypocrisy in not keeping the same energy for certain characters.

Acting/Cast: In short, all the actors did their part as the acting was good especially with Piploy and Pod. I don't care for Min and Win since they both didn't have much chemistry together, in my opinion and the poor writing just overshadowed their acting ability.

Music: I did enjoy Win's song as the opening song.

In conclusion, this show was just bad especially for Wins first show as a Male lead being paired with a woman. Next time, I just hope that he gets a better role that show case his acting ability better.

Attention grabbing; but poorly executed

This show was different coming from most of the shows that I've seen from GMM since this is the second show other than 2gether and F4 Thailand, which ended this week as well that I've seen. The show is nice even from the synopsis, I was hesitant at watching since I knew that this show was going to be angsty and dramafulled, which I don't have a problem with at all.

Storyline/Plot: I liked the plot since they were two families who had issues with one another, and we (the viewers) are trying to understand why and how this revengeful story took place kind of like a mystery. Furthermore, even though the two family don't like each other its interesting how the kids try to navigate through said hate. However, I just felt like there was too many plot twists that unfolded towards the end that was so unnecessary and it felt poorly executed in the end. Moreover, they could have done more with certain character like Rut since all we saw from him was his poor financial issues as he likes to gamble and then get himself into issue when it came time to pay the debt off and this constantly happens over and over. Also, they could have executed the family tree better, cause boy was I confused and to even add into the mix some kids didn't even share the same father in the end.

Acting/Cast: This was the first time me watching most of everyone in the show, even though I noticed that Gun was in here playing Non as he was in Not Me another good GMM show. The casting was good, which wasn't the issue for the most part everyone played their parts well. Not to mention, this being Fiats last show before exiting GMM, he went out with a banger.

Music: The music to me wasn't all of that in my opinion after coming from F4 Thailand that had an amazing Ost. On the other hand, I liked that Aye and Krist did the opening/ending since they were the love birds in this series and end game. Furthermore, I liked the lyrics from both of their songs since it did match the theme of the show.

In conclusion, I will not watch this show again due to how poorly executed it was in the end and this is just one show (in my opinion) that you should just watch once because once you know everything that happens there is just nothing to it. It was good for what it was, and I hope GMM does better with shows like this.

To be honest, this version was way better than the original character wise. The Thai version was way more believable than the original and less stressful in some areas. Some of the characters were re-written in the Thai version because for me the original was just unbelievable for anyone to watch. Which I did watch the original and it was hard for me to watch, but I managed to finished. But certain characters was so annoying and needed to be portrayed differently. Also, the Korean was way exaggerated for the character which Koreans tend to do.

In: In's character is less annoying as suppose to Shin in the original. He still has the jerk character, but he doesn't say really hurtful things to the heroine as to Shin. Who basically called Chaekyung a gold digger not knowing how much her parents struggled to give their kids a better life. Then, he got along with the heroine a little bit quicker than shin did which was more realistic because he had a job to do and he couldn't get certain things done without her. Furthermore, because In got with her quicker it caused less misunderstandings unlike the original. All in all, Shin was just unbelievable as a character and completely unlikable and also all that he put Chaekyung through was uncalled for.

Kaning: Her character was more appealing and real compared to Chaekyung. Who would be face with some much pain, but she wouldn't express it as much as suppose to Kaning. Their is a certain point that some one can take when someone doesn't treat you right or do not try to understand you. So... I liked how she expressed her feelings more and was more believable. Then, she also tried her hardest to please the royal family even when they got on her nerves. She also tried to also please In no matter how difficult he was as well. She also just brighten up the mood in the drama when things got bad as supposed to Chaekyung.

Nakhun: Their is not really a difference between him and yul's character. They both love the heroine and wants the best for her in the end.

Minnie: She is more of a tone down version to Hyorin. Hyorin's character was really unbelievable besides Shin which got on my nervous. She is not suppose to be a likable character, but I could deal with her as suppose to Hyorin. Who was just really annoying and was so desperate for shin's love.

As for the story, it was not that different than the original as some people make it out to be. Also, their is things that Korea can offer to the plot because Korea is a more rich country than Thai. So, the story would be different in other aspect like the scenery and some of the things the couple do. The main character had excellent chemistry and it was more believable to the audience.

P.s- I really enjoyed the perfume concept. It gave the tradition of the royal family some more meaning. Which made the original a little dry on that part, they could've gave us something we didn't know about Korea and Incorporated into the drama. So, it would make the the audience either want to come Korea or educated on Korea traditions a lot more even if its made up or something.

I really loved this thai drama if I could I would watch it again.  Furthermore, I love the characters each character had their problems and they had to deal with it. Then, it was also very emotional and interesting. It also left you wanting more and more each episode. Yes, their was some characters that pissed me off but it was cool that later on they figured out in ending. However, what I didn't like was the unnecessary misunderstandings at time that didn't make sense and also where some of these misunderstanding could've get dealt with right then and there. Then, some of the slaps were soooo... over exaggerated.

But, in the end it was still good the male lead is indeed handsome and the female lead is beyond  beautiful.  please give this drama a try as it is very good and very down to earth from all those fictional k-drama shows.

Ashes of Love yet better!

I didn't think that I would love this show as it gave off the same vibe as Ashes of Love only to find out that it is indeed related to Ashes of love.

Plot/Storyline: I love the overall plot of the show as it had stories of friendship, pain, and romance in it all entwined. I also loved the themes of sisterhood, friendship, and trauma. I felt like they could have done better with is fleshing out Yetan's trauma that she had during her childhood and how that could effect her later on in life. There was times that they could have done good with that but they missed the opportunity. Also, I couldn't stand Shao Dian's voice it was deep for like no reason and it was so distracting. On the other hand, I liked that balanced between the two sister lives as it jumped between the heavenly realm and void realm. Furthermore, how they fleshed out all the characters all the hardships they had family drama, their was no character that I was confused about.

Cast: The cast member's did awesome. I was hesitant about watching this because Chen Xing Xu was in goodbye, my princess and he was a complete menace to society in that show so I was still pissed. Nevertheless, he did amazing it was good to see him as a good person redeeming himself.

Music: All I can say is that it fit the overall concept of the show and I couldn't be any much content. Especially since Sa ding ding and Mao Buyi never fails at making us either cry or heart flutter.

In conclusion, it was a good show and I hope that we get a season 2 or we get something just as good.

Missed Opportunity

I honestly don't know why I watched this show because it wasn't something that I would see myself watching. This was my first time watching a show from this company, so I didn't have any high expectation going into this.

Storyline/Plot: The plot was very simple despite me having to re-watch the first-two episodes twice to get the jist of it. The beginning was very good in terms of pacing, I liked how they got to the point of the conflict. The arrange marriage aspect of the show was self-explanatory and even the main characters getting ''Married'' even though same sex marriage isn't legalized. Furthermore, I liked how they talked about some issues within the LGBTQ+ but I felt like they could have done more with it since it was just a couple of times throughout the drama. However, what I didn't like was that the Main Character Lian and Kuea they didn't feel like a couple but more like father and son. Which was unhealthy to me for their relationship since it felt like Lian was a bit too overbearing at times with Kuea. Moreover, I would have like them to be more character development with Kuea because he was just too far up Lian's behind. He felt like he just existed to be around Lian even though Lian had his own hobbies and skills of his own. Moreover, the kitchen scene was very out of place and triggering because Lian could have just comforted Kuea instead of making out with him in such a way that seemed out of nowhere. Especially since Lian does have a harsh way of being mean/cold towards Kuea when he doesn't do something correct as Lian comes off as a perfectionist. I also hated how most of the show was about the two couples Khon Diao/ Yi and Lian/Kuea having communication issues and they just kept on dragging the issue without solving it and could have just expanded the plot.

Acting/ Cast: This was my first time watching all the actors in the show. The actors were okay, there wasn't anything special about them as the plot just fell flat and was pretty simple. The actors could do more if the plot had substance to it.

Music: Most of the music came from Nunew, he is a great singer, but there was one episode where he was singing, and it just became annoying that they had him sing what felt like five songs back-to-back.

In conclusion, I would not rewatch this show again, the show isn't the most terrible thing to come out of a BL genre, but it was cute for what it was. This would be a drama that you just watch to past the time if you have nothing else to do and want to put on something on the TV.

Enjoyable; needs improvement

Before I write my review their is some things I need to say and this is: This is my first time watching something written and produced by Mame and I am now aware of her "controversial" writing style.

Story/Plot: The moment that I read the novel, I noticed that this was that of a fanfiction which is literally Mame's writing style. Which I don't have an issue with it as she has introduced more cliques/tropes from her other works (according to other people who have watched her other projects) into Love in the air. Secondly, I write my own fanfictions as well and can identify with her cliques and tropes. The first couple I want to get into is Rain and Phayu, I liked them as they were portrayed well by their actors and I LOVED their story as well. I liked how Rain, is airheaded, cute and irresponsible at first, however he progressed as a character and got better later on. On the other hand, their was Phayu, even though his character isn't all that original I fell in love with him. Which I felt Mame did a good job writing both character no matter how they were dicpited from both in the book and show. Phayu is very mature, cool, and strict, however even though many see him as perfect he too has his flaws and that he is insecure. Which I praise Mame for the fact that both Rain's and Phayu's quality's are of the complete opposite however Phayu is mature enough to ground Rain when he needs to be. Which would resemble a real relationship. Their isn't much to any misunderstandings, which is good and even angst ( Which I kind of would have love -- just a little). Another thing, is that I love how Phayu doesn't put up with Rain's bad behavior just because he is interested him, likes, or love him. Which is something I see often times within Asian dramas across the board.

To contrast, the second couples were okay, yeah just okay for me. As someone who can relate to Sky with his trauma, I just couldn't get with the story. I don't nor shouldn't expect for the whole r*pe scene to be taken seriously as this is a drama for pure entertainment. Which I'm not expecting that nor should anyone since as I said previously this is just for entertainment and writing. However, this was interesting since I don't watch shows with r*pe elements. Even though, both Peat and Fort did good, however they didn't have the chemistry like Rain and Phayu. Which is fine considering that Boss and Noeul are actually close in real life. I like Sky's character more than P'pai considering that P'pai just wasn't a saint (Red Flag!!!) and he did things that got under my skin (not for the same reason it did other people). I just wasn't convinced that P'pai had changed from a F-boy to a committed gentlemen because he still gave F-boy energy. The ending was pretty rushed which was to be expected because the show only had 13 episode, which could have been more if Mame didn't combine the stories. Furthermore, I didn't expect Sky's Ex to be punished severely considering that it never happens in Asian drama.

Acting/Cast: I think everyone did a good job with playing their parts. Especially Boss and Noeul since this is their first acting gig while this is both Forts and Peats job in a main role. In the future, I would like both Boss and Noeul to venture out and be more diverse with their acting/roles as they have become close. I do ship them however I want them to be more like Bright and Win from GMMTV where even though they are popular together, they can still survive without each other. On the other hand, I want Fort to improve his acting because he did come up a bit short as well as Peat.

Music: I didn't like the music, it just wasn't my taste and its going to get some use to hearing both Boss and Noeul sing considering that this is not K-pop. In show, the music choice was questionable at times since again this is not like a Chinese nor Korean drama.

In conclusion, I would watch this drama again, which I know I am going to anyways. I would definitely recommend this show to future viewers as well.

Slow paced, but must watch!

Storyline/Plot: I liked the overall storyline of the main leads having a past and finally rekindling after years of not seeing each other. Furthermore, I liked the theme of the drama of them tackling issues like women being sexually harassed and mistreated unfairly in the workplace which is something that happens universally no matter where you're from. The issues weren't taken too seriously that it came off "Woke" nor too lightly where it was seen as a joke or as a mockery, but there was a nice balance. I know many people were not happy with them focusing on Meena's situation since they could have added in another secondary couple, which most dramas tend to do. Yet, it was nice that they didn't do because it would have been too clique. I liked that they took a risk with it since they did expand on their relationship and the guilt that she had for leaving Kim (ML). I also felt like it tackled something that no other drama really does and that's understanding all sides of every character because they could have just left us with the notion that she left him due to him being busy with work, but they actually showed us what her real reasons for leaving him was. Another thing that I really enjoyed was that out of the whole "who is going to end up with whom???" all of the characters had their own issues to work out.

On the other hand, what I disliked was Tan's character. He is really a walking, talking RED FLAG. I hate his personality, he is always acting cool, yet aggressive around Kim (ML) and Nubdao (FL)for like no reason. Which I could somewhat understand Kim because he feels threatened by him but still it's annoying. Moreover, I wasn't buying him and Nubdao's friendship because he didn't really stand up for her like a friend should the way that Kim did WITHOUT hesitation. Furthermore, he is always in Kim and Nubdao's business where it doesn't concern him.

Acting/cast: I think that everyone did really well, this is my first drama with Davika and Off since I knew Off from Not Me. However, I couldn't get into Not Me. Even though, I hated Off's character I think that he did good with portraying Tan's character because I sure hated his character. Similarly, this was also my first show with Davika, and she really suited Nubdao and her chemistry with Bright. I would definitely love her and Bright to do another project together, she is my favorite actresses that has been paired with Bright so far. I don't have anything to say about Bright since I'm a fan of him, yet his acting is definitely improving.

Music: My favorite Ost is definitely the Intro, Gawin is doing the lords work by giving us good Ost's. I liked how the song really fit the theme and concept of the show and it really hits on an emotional level. Every time this song plays, I get really emotional and be ready to start crying.

In conclusion, this show is one of GMMTV's gem shows of course it's not perfect but it defiantly worth the watch due to the characters, theme, and overall risk in terms of writing.

Youthful; College life

This drama has two seasons, I watched it as one whole drama. But, I will just talk about this one season.

Storyline/Plot: I really love the overall feel of the drama very youthful and fun. I like the college theme and that everyone has a different department that their in i.e Wen Chu (ML), he is good at oil painting. While Ru Hau (FL), she is good at water ink painting. And, it is heavily surrounded on art. Furthermore, their is a lot of funny scenes between the main leads. I even like the friendships and how everyone gets along with each other. Their is not much cliques. At first, I was a bit nervous about Zi Su's character because she was suppose to be the second female lead that we are normally supposed to hate. But, she was different to the part were she actually learned from her mistakes and fell in love with someone else. Then, Fang Luo, I thiught he was going to be our second male lead since him and Ru Hau had a very close relationship and were friends. But, overall the plot was nice and refreshing.

Acting/Cast: I like both the main leads, I watched this drama because of Leon Li Yi. I have to say as a fan of the male lead, his character was very funny and different than what I seen him in (jiu liu overlord).

Music: The opening was okay and the song that played throughout the romantic scenes.

In conclusion, the drama was really nice. I would watch it again in my spear time since their is not a lot of dramas like this.

Fluffy romance, Comedic; Slow paced

I only watch all the way up from 13 episode, which I am planning on finishing the drama and re-editing my review if my thoughts change. But, I wanted to share my thoughts on this drama since I am more than 10 episodes in.

Storyline/Plot: A lot of people felt like this drama was very slow paced and took so long to develop the romance between the main leads. I disagreed, you could tell Li Qing Liu (ML) was falling in love with or having an interest in Long Ao Yi since episode 1. As the story progressed, they slowly started hanging out more and getting to know each other. I didn't care about the cliques since of course this is a drama, so cliques are what to be expected. Furthermore, for this to be a 36 episode I don't think it would be reasonable for the plot to be rushed since everything needs to be well balanced and paced. On a higher note, I like the comedic and detective side of things since it added another layer for the plot. I don't a problem with them having Qing Liu as a long lost prince since he was able to compete with the prince Li Zhao (SML). Moreover, I didn't even really care since it wasn't a major hit to his character. Their was a few issues that I had while watching this on YouTube and reading the comments:

1. People wanted Ao Yi to give the prince, Li Zhao a chance because of Second male syndrome and it was obvious she was going to end up with Qing Liu. Which was not only annoying but disgusting because Li Zhao ended up being toxic and selfish. I don't understand and will never understand why is it that Second male leads can get away with nasty behaviors in the name of second male lead syndrome but the second female lead cant??? I don't hear nobody saying "I am having second female lead syndrome, the male lead should end up with her and give her a chance." I feel like the romance between two individuals or characters needs to be mutual on both sides not just one. Also, I don't even think that logic or mindset is even realistic. Because, I wouldn't date someone because they like me yet I don't like them.

2. Yes! Ms. Du was very annoying as a second female lead, but as a character she needs to be held accountable for her own behavior. I don't feel as if Qing Liu was responsible for how Ms. Du acted. He never gave her any incentives that he had any feelings for her. Moreover, she was his employee so it would have been a bit weird. She helped him based off her own free will, so he didn't owe her anything. Especially since she tried to belittle Ao Yi for being a lower class beggar.

Acting/Cast: I love both actors/actresses, Bai Lu and Leon Lai. I watched Bai Lu in Untouchable Lovers, while I watched Leon Lai in the ten miles of cherry blossom series and Ancient love poetry. Bai Lu, she tends to play tomboy or non-stereotypical women roles good. I am so used to it since she played a general in Untouchable Lovers. Leon Lai, I first watched him in Ancient Love Poetry which he played Gu jun. Leon Lai, he has a presence about himself that captivated the whole drama. Its sad that this man doesn't have much to his name as a main lead which is sad and a waste of talent.

Music: I hated the opening Ost since it sounds like something that would come out of a drama like Empress in the palace. However, the other songs were well fitted and personally liked.

Life lessons/ Coming of age

Storyline/Plot: I like the plot it was different, I added this to my drama collection of sad but teachable moments in Jdrama. I liked how this was beyond just sexual fan service but had a deeper meaning behind it. Also, the lesson wasn't really tackled a lot in movies or dramas, so I liked that they talked about this. On the other hand, I felt like the ending was understandable yet different as I expected the main leads to end up together. However, it was very realistic because they were only kids and it was good that they both made their relationship more healthy as well as their lives.

Acting/Cast: I liked the Main male lead, Dori Sakurada since he was the reason I decided to watch it in the first place. Besides, I am not familiar with the other actors/actresses'. The acting was pretty good though, their wasn't any cringe scenes or scenes that were unbelievable.

In conclusion, I would watch this drama again due to the life lesson. I felt like a lot of people could learn from this when it comes to love acceptance.

Fast paced romance/ adapted from a manga

If you don't like a drama that is based off of a manga than this is not for you at all or fast paced romance than you are also out of luck.

Storyline/Plot: There wasn't much or any of a storyline to begin with, I had watched it on Viki and the synopsis was very accurate to what I had watched. I didn't mind the lack of storyline which is why I gave it 5.0 since it wasn't misleading. One thing I didn't like was the constant guys liking Risa (FL), even though she was dating Hiroto (ML). Also, it was disgusting how her friend didn't have any morals (I don't believe in girl code), since she found it okay to date her friend's boyfriend.

Acting/Cast: I liked the cast especially since the main leads are from Good Morning Call which was also another good drama. It was a bit cheesy at times with the acting but it was good for how each character was supposed to be portrayed.

In conclusion, it was a good drama for what it was. I didn't really take this all to serious since it wasn't suppose to be serious, it was suppose to be watched for the romance and skinship. So, I wasn't to serious with this review and critizing it. I would definitely re-watch it for something short but entertaining.
